5 Useful Tools You've Been Missing Out On!

hey it's RIS welcome back to the channel in this video I'm going to share five cool tools and websites right now that help increase your productivity keep you accountable and also some tools in order to create content better and faster so let's get started with the first tool okay so this first tool allows you to turn all your screenshots into summaries that are actually going to be useful down the track because what we tend to do with our screenshots is take our screenshots and then it's long forgotten but now using trickle you're able to take your screenshot send it to Trickle and then it'll summarize and provide a purposeful summary of all of your screenshots let me show you a few examples of some screenshots I uploaded to My Demo trickle account this first one was taken from one of my ebooks that explains five steps to starting and building an email list and it's summarized what this screenshot is about so in the future I could always go back and see what this screenshot entails and so this will be searchable in the history here's another one of the pricing and plans of a platform called Learning Studio it summarized the pricing and plans page as you can see and here's something different where we've got this kind of mind map and it's summarized what this my map's about to get started using trickle all you need to do is sign up you do get a 7-Day free trial and once you're in capture what you want using your day-to-day screen capturing tool it can be anything as long as it captures your screen so let's say we're going to summarize this we're going to capture it so I'll go in take a screenshot of this here we go and now I'll capture the screenshot I am using snag it for mac and here's a screenshot once you're in your trickle account simply use the AI capture or you can click on new memory otherwise you can simply drag and drop it to your memories homepage right here but let's go ahead and use the AI capture this is kind of like a chat window we'll click on choose image I'll select the trickle screenshot click on send and watch the magic happen as trickle's AI summarizes the screenshot and here we go trickle app features and it's listing in bullet points what these features are so whenever I want to refer to a screenshot I took in the past I can always go and search for something like Trickle and it's found the trickle screenshot I can also click once and then it'll give me that summary that it captured you can also change the view of the screenshots by selecting The View options right here this one's got a summary of the screenshot and you're also able to easily favorite any of the screenshots by clicking on the heart icon and then it will be in the favorite section so using trickle you're able to summarize your screenshots into texts and data that actually will be useful you're able to also extract insights from your screenshots identify and highlight essential info from diagrams digitize your handwritten content easily search your screenshots and ask the AI about semantic results the next tool is called Focus mate and as the name suggests it will help you focus but not so much focus by yourself but with a mate or someone a stranger from around the world who also are using Focus mate so if you're one who procrastinates a lot and you just need that kick in the butt and accountability to keep going or to start on that project then this is a really handy website I'll show you how it works now signing up is free all you need to do is just sign up you book a session based on the schedule I'll show you what the back end looks like you join the call and then you start working based on the time session that you select so you can select between 25 50 or 75 minutes and as soon as that session starts you start working and then you end and you share each other's progress I'll share a demo of a pre recorded session that one of the team members had so I'll play it right here where she begins and clicks on join after the scheduling a session with another member so I'll click on Play Hey Hi how are you doing I'm doing good how are you today pretty good what are you working on I've skipped ahead a little so you can see what they do after the intro so I'll click on play I'll go ahead and mute myself and I'll write down my tasks in the chat for some extra account ability as you can see in that quick demo that's how it works and it kind of works like Zoom but heavily focused on just getting work done or studying whatever the case may be here's what the back end looks like uh once you signed up you'll see this kind of calendar where you can book a session and see what's ahead what people have booked and the time as well so right now the next session is about 230 so what you can do is Select this session let's say you want to start working you click on select and and then continue to book one session you can also book multiple sessions at the same time let's say same time about the same time next day and now we've got two sessions but before booking you can actually look into who you're going to work with your coworker right so if you click on more it'll give you details on who this person is where they're from how many sessions they've already completed to filter the sessions based on time we've got 25 minutes session 50 minutes and 75 minutes sessions I like this format because it follows the kind of pomodora technique where it's 25 minutes of focus work and then you take a 5 minute to 10-minute breather so you could implement the Pomodoro Technique using this let's talk about plans and pricing with Focus mate it's free for up to three sessions per week and then you do need to upgrade if you want to exceed that uh so it's if you're choosing monthly that's like 9.99 per month or if you're paying yearly of course you're going to save and by the way there are no sponsors in this video just thought this is a pretty cool tool and that's what I usually do when I share these videos but that's Focus mate in a nutshell so if you're looking for an accountability partner or partners then this is a great option for you this next tool is going to help you create guides and how to videos quickly and easily without writing a single word the tool is called guide with a double D and what it promises is to magically create stunning FAQs and other things like notes using AI but come take a look I'll show you how it works so first you're going to want to install the guide Chrome extension once installed and once you've registered for an account with guide you will then be guided in terms of how to actually use it and you want to make sure you enable the guide uh toolbar so if you don't see it simply click on the extensions option and then enable or more so pin the guide extension once you click it you can start capturing and what you then will need to make sure you have is the window open of what you're trying to explain in this demo what I'm going to do is show my viewers how to create a new document in Cava something really simple and basic for this demo so what I'll do is I'll open up that window go back to guide and then click on capture and now what I need to do is uh explain what I'm capturing so what are you capturing knowled and documentation uh customer onboarding so choose one that's most relevant so I'll just choose knowledge and describe your how to so then uh this will be more relevant uh in the case once it's saved I've just entered how to create a new document in CA and I'll click on go and it says capcher is about to start and here's how how to work and how to stop it on the left you'll see the little guide icon this is where you can control whether you're done with your process or you can pause it or add a screen shot in between or restart the entire thing or delete it but let's just continue and now I'm going to start the guide you don't need to talk obviously like me and it's there's no voice involved and what I'll do is I will click on uh this search bar make sure I type in document and then I'll click on document A4 portrait click on create a blank document and then from the list of design templates I'll just choose this one here and I'm done I'm done with my guide you can see with the ated number tab there are five things in this guide five steps all right so I'm going to click on done you can see the process and what exactly it's doing it's actually creating a video of what uh to do in order to create a guide in canva in addition to creating these steps in a form of a screenshots the video is done and when I play it it will go through the process of you know step one click on document and then select document A4 portrait as you saw in the quick demo tutorial that I went through so if you're a viewer your staff member or customer wants to watch it they can watch it here or they can view the steps in screenshot and step-by-step layout form this is going to save you a heap of time rather than taking screenshot after screenshot and then putting that all together in let's say a word document or Google doc rather than doing that you can simply use guide to create that guide quickly and easily in terms of pricing of guide it is free to start using you can create up to 25 how to videos there will be a guide Watermark and you do get other benefits like recording a voice over on top uh you can share public links and share your guides and add calls to action to your guides otherwise there are paid plans as well as you can see next up we've got a tool called viszla if you're wanting to create videos for social media or for video ads then this will prove useful once you've signed up you can create a video and there are a few options of creating a video you can start from an idea so describe the video that you want to create or if you already have some text or a script that this tool can follow simply click on text and then input the text there you can also use a rewrite with AI tool you can also choose blog as the source so enter your blog URL so then it'll repurpose that into a video but you just need to describe the video of what you want to create the other option is to create a video with voice and you need to gather the videos that you want so if you click that you need to add the main story so uploading your media files but what I'm going to do is create one based on an idea it does suggest to include information to help tailor the video such as the video what it's about its intended purpose target audience and Publishing platform such as Instagram or YouTube so then it'll size it to that I'm going to put a video for Instagram reals on the future of electric vehicles and sustainability and generate the video and what visa will do is put together a video and a script using Ai and here's what it's generated it's generated not only the script as well as the time stamps but the actual video of course in a world where sustainability is becoming increasingly important the future of transportation is being shaped by electric vehicles electric vehicles offer a cleaner and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gasoline so as you saw a few examples of some video footage that it's used uh it did pick up some footage you can see the watermark there so it is a free tool somewhat with watermarks as you saw with the viszla watermark right at the beginning but what you can do is so that it's not using any paid stock footage and videos is to click on export and then regenerate with free stock videos you may not be as good but it may be just enough for your purpose you can also edit your video fine-tune the script as well as playing around with the different uh stock videos and styles we've got other tabs here so that you can fully customize your video one thing I did notice is that it didn't quite produce it in the vertical format that I prompted it to I wanted an Instagram real but you can always go into style and then choose a vertical format instead but once done you can click on export and then that will save it as a video file okay last but definitely not least because I've got other videos just like this where I'm sharing Cool Tools and websites in the description box below but this one is called predus and this will help you create content for social media easier to best illustrate how it works this is what the back end looks like in my Content Library uh what you can do is click on create new you can select from a video such as an Instagram real or an Instagram story so the dimensions are based on what you select otherwise you can filter up by orientation portrait square or all you can also select ads this will give you different results like this depending on what you're creating or a single image you've got stories if you want to create some sort of motivational quote to post on Instagram or Twitter or something like that then search it by quotes even carousels where you can put multiple images in one Post in this demo let's go ahead and create a motivational quote First we're going to select a template it's through a few of them so you can get a feel for what they have in its Library let's go with something bold and contrasty so this one here so that's the first step we're going to click on next there are a couple of ways on inserting a quote you can go and select a category let's say something that's relevant to business and then you'll see some quotes right here that have already been gathered by predis otherwise you can go and click on write my own and then insert your own and then put in the author let's go ahead and use one of the ones that already listed I'll choose this one here it's easy to make a buck it's a lot tougher to make a difference select that click on next this is where you add your own photo to go with the quote so you can use your own assets or search by a keyword from the library otherwise you can let AI select the best assets for your post let's give this a shot and we'll test out the AI click on generate and here's what produce it's a little buggy straight off the bat what I see is its and with a capital S I think they need to fix that up and may bring that up to the attention and you can see first of all the layout of what it's could potentially look like if you click on view the caption right here it will generate the caption sometimes sometimes not and in this case it didn't you can see this other one that I generated has got a caption otherwise you can always edit it by clicking on edit and then where it says caption you you can edit it here or just come up with it when you're actually posting and while we're here you can also edit the quote as you saw it's a little buggy with the capital S but I'll put in a small s instead kind of works like ca where you can edit the design with different elements and text and media if we choose a different template for instance from the design tab let's say this one here that will take effect in an instant the plans and pricing of previous you start off with a trial where you can generate 26 assets and one active brand otherwise you can upgrade and with a free plan you create it but there'll be a watermark of predis and which is not ideal for many of you but hey if this tool is going to help you create content faster easier and better then why not choose to upgrade because if that's what's going to help you generate more traffic gain more users followers and subscribers to your brand and business then it's all well worth it
