Are you still looking for Micro SaaS ideas as a solo founder? I'm here to help you! analyzed more than 100 Micro SaaS ideas and chosen only five to share with you today!   My goal is to validate ideas and present them to you, your goal is to research, choose the best fit,   build it and start making money. So watch till the end, because every idea is worth trying especially if you have nothing to lose! Firstly I have several Micro SaaS ideas in the health & fitness category. Unfortunately they didn't pass my validation test due to extremely high   competition or no competition at all. Then I tried to dig deeper into one idea and after   several days of research I've got it and it's called calorie counter plus AI integration.   I've checked out results in Google search first and how competition with keywords works in our case, and   here we go, more than 500k monthly searches only in the United States and if you combine similar   keywords such as calorie counter, calorie counter app and so on, the results are super exciting   and the most important the competition is really low, but still exists, and it is good! If there is   no competition it is bad because there is either a blue ocean or no money. There are several web   apps and a few mobile apps that might be real competitors in terms of search traffic, so it's   real chance to get your place on the market. How I see the MVP. The app requires a free trial with   several paid plans. When you log in to the app we ask you to provide your height, weight, birthday   and goal weight for further measurements. To start with, you add your meals daily and receive calorie   information. This one requires customization from the customer side as it's hard to create   a database of all possible meals so we give you an ability to add calories manually. You track your   meals and weight, and the app calculates calories for you. After every week this is where AI steps in   we offer suggestions on adjusting protein, fats and carbohydrate intake. In addition our app recommends   you to eat more or less calories per day based on your weight goals, preferences and activity level.   To expand this app there are a bunch of features you can add: notifications for meal times, personalized   diet suggestions, and any other features found in your competitor apps. But don't overthink if you   are building MVP first. And remember, it's just my vision of how I would create this calorie calculator app   you can do whatever you want to do and the main idea I've described is more like a starting point for you. Nothing to add here, moving to our next Micro SaaS idea. Just think about how   many people start careers worldwide in web and graphic design, in mobile and web development, and   other it related fields. I've been in their  shoes and I bet you have too. I spent hours   watching YouTube videos, reading articles and books, and searching for the right career path.   I wanted to know what to learn first and how to progress as a web developer back in 2015. But what   if there were a web app that could create a complete roadmap for you, showing exactly what you need to   learn and which direction to take to become a UX/UI designer or a Full Stack web developer. Introducing   Tech and creative jobs roadmap generator. The idea for this web app is simple, it starts with a quiz   asking users who they want to become: a developer, designer or someone else. If they choose designer   for example, we ask if they want to be a graphic designer or a web designer; if it's web designer   we narrow it down further to product designer, UX designer and UI designer and so on. Based on their   answers we give them a blurred version of their personalized roadmap and ask them to make a one-time payment. If they pay they get a complete guide with a detailed diagram that looks something   like this. And you might ask me, Andrew what about scalability here? To be honest this web app might   not be scalable at first, you could start with a one-time payment or Lifetime access pricing model   however you can always turn it into a complete Micro SaaS product with a monthly subscription   model by adding features like progress tracking, access to discounted paid webinars, and relevant   remote job listing alerts. I would say that this app is not the hardest one to create, but it requires   months of research to build the perfect product. But I think you've got the idea and we are moving   forward. This idea keeps me up at night! My body can digest lactose and my wife eats everything   gluten-free. As you get older you tend to drink less milk and eat fewer sweets because they make you   feel not as you felt when you were 14. Imagine how many people struggle with diabetes, follow a vegan lifestyle   or need a keto diet. Gluten-free bread, gluten-free cookies, gluten-free recipes - more than 300K   total monthly Google searches in the United States only. You can use other keywords   such as diabetes, vegan or keto diet recipes that your potential buyers are using. If you can build   this mobile or web app, charge a $20 monthly subscription fee, attract 1K paying subscribers   you can make at least 20K monthly and as a result you will not only make decent money but will also   help others live a better life. I would start here with building a no-code platform that offers the   collections of recipes to the individuals with specific dietary restrictions. If we are talking   about the MVP, I see the following: when a potential customer logs into your app they are prompted to   start a free trial or purchase a subscription. In both cases the next step is a dropdown   navigation where they select their dietary preferences for recipes. Once it's chosen they   can choose one of the categories such as main dishes, cookies and other recipes. To collect recipes I would use   AI plus manual research to build a database of tested recipes and recommendations. I would also   focus on YouTube videos that you can attach to specific recipes. Of course if you want to expand   this platform you could add custom instructional videos, meal plans and ingredient substitution tips.   All recipes should be simple so a person who spent a decent part of his salary on medical treatment   for example can afford to buy gluten-free products to cook the food he loves. And basically that's it.   Of course this idea is just an idea. Nobody will guarantee that this business model will   be profitable. To understand all the numbers you need to calculate the unit economics and do deep   competitor analysis, but as I mentioned before more than 300K people are searching only for   gluten-free recipes in the United States and we don't count other related keywords. So this mobile   web app is in high demand and we are moving to our next Micro SaaS idea. If you want to learn more   about the brand who is your competitor you need to use SEO tools and research their social media   if you want to dive deep into your competitor's KPI's you need to buy a subscription to advanced   tools and so on. This research is time-consuming and not cost-effective if you don't want to do   it yourself. But what if I built a web app that can do it all? I found a product which is not   so popular right now and using the idea you can always not steal but take it and create a better   product and it's called Branalyzer. To start with, nothing fancy about this web app, but   it solves a common problem: by using AI and web scraping you can analyze brands, their business KPIs SEO backlinks, competitors and social media. This saves you a ton of time on research, so you   don't need to juggle multiple platforms to get a full view of your competitors. I found this   web app on AppSumo and it has more than 250 positive reviews, while most of products there get between   20 and 50 reviews in total, so this one caught my attention! I would say that this app is something   new on the market and of course you can find a bunch of alternative apps like this one but   I still think it's a good idea to start and grow. But again everything depends on you and your skills if   you can build this app marketing with a small budget is possible here and to get your first   100 and 1,000 customers and start making at least $5K monthly is not a big deal and we are continuing.   The b2c sector is highly developed in 2024 where almost every second person in the world buys and   sells things online. However online sales in the B2B sector is still evolving right now. It's   not easy to find agricultural businesses buying online tractors, combines or custom seed blends   because these purchases often require direct supplier interaction. The same story with the   manufacturers they rarely buy online raw materials in bulk. To buy metals chemicals and plastics you   always require detailed specifications and to go through process, but what if I build a good   product and I want to offer businesses my products directly? I will be looking for B2B lead generation  search results on YouTube and Google first. More than 50,000 monthly searches only in   the US and it's about 600k searches every year and we don't count Pinterest Facebook or other   YouTube keywords variations. Freelancers on Upwork are selling B2B leads they generate using tools   like Apollo and Cognism for high prices. This is because they need to cover the expenses on   subscription fees for this tools which cost more than $50 per month and per user. These   subscriptions only let them generate a limited number of leads so they change more to make up for the costs.  That's why a good micro saas idea is to build an app that provide you quality B2B leads   based on your preferences. A solid example of app like that is LeadRocks. LeadRocks is more a simplified   version of Apollo, Cognism or other alternative B2B generation platforms. Basically to create   a database of quality B2B and always updated we need to do AI web scraping, data aggregation   and so on I'm not saying this app is simple to create or it will make you millions, but it is in high demand   right now. You don't need a team to build, market and sell monthly subscriptions to   make money with it. The idea is straightforward and typical of what micro saas idea does. It solves   one specific problem for specific audience but if you want to learn more about SaaS business metrics   that are essential to build a profitable and growing business,I recommend checking out this   video don't forget to subscribe to my channel to never miss a video about entrepreneurship   and SaaS hit the like button for YouTube algorithm it helps me a lot and see you in the next videos!
