5 America's Got Talent Contestants Who Tragically Passed Away...What Happened?

[Music] love [Applause] that audition couldn't have gone better but unfortunately this is where his agt journey ends on june 10th 2017 brennan was killed in a car crash he was riding in the passenger seat on his way to a family event when his friend fell asleep behind the wheel he died in the hospital the very next day the doctor is really handsome and the doctor can sing thank you your vocal is stunning stunning [Applause] you are one of the best singers we've had in the competition so far i got to tell you [Applause] he was only 29 years old but we are happy his family chose to still air his audition in honor of his memory and his amazing talent [Music] hey what's your name and how old are you my name is scala hicks i'm 14 years old and i'm guessing you're going to be singing for us i'm going to be doing a song i wrote for you guys at only 23 years old skyler was found dead in a friend's home on december 6 2021 she sadly died of a drug overdose and was reported by her mom to have struggled with depression and substance abuse throughout her life i started playing after my dad passed away um a few years [Music] is ago and filled with sorrow i know there's hope for a better tomorrow i tell myself i will be all right but the tears keep coming there's no way to fight i pray to god to keep me strong to give me the will to forgive and move on it's so brand new day [Music] everything will be okay it's a brand new day [Music] [Applause] [Music] as you do i think that you are a beautiful girl and i'm thankful that you shared your story with all of us it's a very hard story i'm sure for you to tell everyone and i feel that you won all of our hearts thank you although her journey was cut short skyler will always be remembered for her original songs on america's got your mother has got to be proud of you tonight fantastic you know you are a very very special talent sadly on june 10th 2018 neil died at age 42 of heart and kidney failure and liver disease his when i sing i go by nightbird i'm singing an original song called it's okay what is it's okay about uh it's okay is the story of the last year of my life um i have not been working for quite a few years i've been dealing with cancer oh sorry no it's okay okay yeah i'm okay all right how are you now uh last time i checked i had some cancer in my lungs my spine and my liver wow so you're not okay well not in every way now it's important that uh everyone knows i'm so much more than the bad things on february 19 2022 at the age of 31 jane lost her four-year battle with cancer her uplifting spirit and words will always remind us to stay strong and this unforgettable audition will live on forever watch this i moved [Music] i changed my name thinking that it would change my mind i thought that all my problems they would stay behind [Music] i was a stick of dynamite and it just was a matter of time yeah all day oh my now i can't hide said i knew myself but i guess i lie it's okay it's golden buzzer audition nightbird dropped out of the show to focus on her health but returned to say this to an emotional simon cowell hello jane hi you made the decision rightly so that your health is your priority right now and i know that even though you haven't competed you've already won as terry said i mean your clip has had such an impact on so many people and your courage and who you are and the most important thing is your well-being and your health and your recovery and on behalf of all of us here we're sending you our love our prayers and we can't wait to see you again soon and thank you so much for auditioning on the show and for singing such a beautiful song and you know it was we love you i just wanted to say hi too and i love you i i love all of you right back and um i cannot say thank you enough for the opportunity to to have a moment to share my story and um i think we're witnessing like such a beautiful picture of the human spirit and the triumph of the human spirit and i think it's restored my faith in humanity a whole lot to see people come together just over the fact that we all hurt we all suffer and we all have the potential to to overcome and um it's this is i a series of strokes in 2016. it is phenomenal it is unique i love it i have a couple questions sure the towel and the helmet oh that's for protection right you can get hit by a tongue depressor oh yeah i practice safe sticks it's a bad joke forgive me what's the biggest thingy majiggy you've ever built um i did one for the minnesota children's museum that took me three days to build and i filled up uh pretty much this whole stage area tell me what your dream is well to go on uh win a million bucks and buy my mansion in kauai uh in hawaii and um have a bunch of playmates for girlfriends and of course have a cable channel reading non-stop buster keith and comedies and have my own tool for scuba diving man's got a dream that ladies and gentlemen is what america's got talent is all about tim will always be remembered for his crazy chain reactions sense of humor and lovable personality [Music] hey heidi your hand binoculars are ridiculous stop it you don't understand they're not binoculars yes they are no but it does it takes the light outside from the outside and it gets darker around and then i can actually see better i need my clothes into some pockets sometimes exactly so it's not so bright because when it's so bright i can't see what they're doing and i need to judge so my family and i are watching agt and my dad says is beyonce always on this it's tyra banks or is it white simon everything that is everything i'm gonna give you that point i am giving you that point what do you think audience they deserve that point that's pretty much all exciting what word do you think he's thinking of and vice versa what do you think howie is thinking of one word and when i count to three you're going to say that word out loud clear your mind okay this is a mind-reading
