4 Easy RV Door Modifications You Need To Do Today!

[Music] i installed the rv lock this thing is awesome it was on sale it was a refurb that they kept advertising on facebook so i took a chance and i ordered it the installation was easy there's a lot of videos out there people putting them in and they're just as easy as those videos so i didn't record the actual installation of this thing i unscrewed a couple screws on the back side these four screws right here you unscrew those this whole thing comes off then this comes off and then you just put the new one in and put the new screws in and boom there's and it's installed that's how easy it is and what's really awesome about it is when you're leaving you don't have to bring keys with you especially if you're going to the beach and you got a swimsuit out or something i don't know but uh yeah you just put the combination in [Music] and it locks and then of course when you get back [Music] now you're in so that was a real easy mod if you want to call that but we replaced the door handle plus the stock door handle came with it we always had to slam the door to get it to shut it wasn't working really well so this actually closed like a normal door now it's nice and easy it closes real cool the other thing we installed was this screen defender this thing is fantastic we've got two dogs hence remember i told you earlier we travel with dogs and we don't want scratching at the screen this is super easy i mean you literally just pull this little thing right here and it leans out and then you'll then you pop it in it's that simple to put in i mean literally that simple to put in um you do have to measure your door and they only make these for grand designs grand design trailers um and most of the doors are standard size i'm not really sure what size this is but if you measure it there's three sizes and you get the size that fits your door and literally you just click it right in so oh and this thing here this is another thing we added um when you have the screen door like this you don't have to open up this part here and grab there's nothing to grab there's really nothing here to grab so you install this and you can oh look at that fantastic so oh and i forgot the best thing that we installed was this shade check this thing out there you go this is awesome the stock window that came on these doors sucked it was frosted you couldn't close it light came in there was just no way to block the light this you pull it down it blocks the light if you want some light you can open it up and it's clear so if it is open you can actually see through it and see what's out there this thing is fantastic love love love that shade that was another easy one to install it came with the pieces they have to slide in here and it releases some clips the whole thing popped out and then i don't know what you see i don't see anything anyway those three things just made this whole door set up just a little bit more easier to use a little bit more user friendly see how easy that was to close beautiful i love it all right let me check my fire is that an official fire tool your foot
