hello there guys and welcome back to our carbonyl in tutorial and today in this episode what we'll do is we're going to work on the front lights and we've also got a little bit of event here that I've got about the last episode we worked on the headlight someone said the emergency and the shark fin antenna at the top looking pretty good so before we start in the lights real quick I'm gonna cheat with this this point with the car it's not going to be a huge deal so we're gonna basically just map out the shape of this block here we're not to sit on here something like rotation so what we'll do is let it sit so just have that help now I'm gonna go to the inside of the lines here grab the fish on the edge here I'm just gonna pull that out and this is gonna make the point then we'll do the same with a face on the back here so Cassie let's go double went to the inside I want to bring that down so we're gonna want this to sit in this across the body as possible what we're gonna want to do is we're gonna want to grab this face all these faces here and extrude them in take control key again and then just take them the whole portion of this we could rotate again will bring this down so it's not interviewing with the code cut so a bit smaller so let's just bring all these price further down I will just quickly want to add in some edge loops here around here as usual and then there's a few of these edges that are fairly sharp so these ones for example will drop one fairly close this one looks like this one should be bit more curved also grab these make sure that Lions fairly consistent across i smooth that off drop it in there best we can and then just like everything else will add the darker material to a badge on the sides off that's fine now the headlights so let's grab the inner edges here extrude these in a little bit further and maybe start Astraeus grab all of these here so we've got a few things to consider in here firstly we have an LED strip that kind of runs along the top then we have two here or lights and then we have the repeater the indicator on the edge around here so what we'll do is we'll have a look at the halos first I'll probably the easiest so to do this we'll use a pipe I'll bring this round into position now it's going to be tough because the blueprints don't actually have any information for the headlights on here which is frustrating so that's what it means so we also want to take down the thickness so thickness of these here will probably look at something like 0.32 looks like it should looks like it should work quite nicely now what we're gonna need to do is I would say maybe all of these points here and then all the corresponding points up here all of these look fairly flat baby these ones walk over so straighten all these off and then we'll straighten and then we're gonna want to bring these down so that the level there will just need to do the same to the top you so these are very similar to the BMW halo lights wall but obviously we've got flat tops to the moon stead so something like that looks good let's take that side the actual headline so it looks to me like that's probably gonna say think about there should be good we do need to take that down in size because we do have the LED strip above so let's just get that in place f2 of these and it looks like if I can get straight on view here looks like the first Halo sits right on the curve and then the next one is a little bit bigger pull those back something like that so placement looks decent is insert edgeloop delete these verses here see about bridging that gap we can print something too because it looks like this point in here it looks like what's actually happening inside here it may be so we do want to block off a lot the information from behind so just bring those plates down there let's move that off just to make sure we haven't affected too much nothing looks like what happens here is it looks like maybe there's something is dissolved like a light of some kind it looks like maybe there's a sensor or camera or something inside there it's all simply just dropped maybe take some of the detail out of this I'm gonna save too much in terms of that funny confident side view here delete this down just go something like that maybe I'm gonna want that maybe to sit just do something like that and then what we'll do with this it'll maybe make it the shiny color so it stands out a bit off that background okay so that looks good now it looks like our side repeater over here is kind of a housed in a completely separate area let's grab these two now let's go for ddr else here too Pizza run from here all the way for now that's inside actually never drop - it's just I'm just inside there I'm just gonna drag these all the way up and out the top especially my interfering in there because a lot of this is going to be hidden have to be too precise it looks like maybe need to do with this stick these aspects back up like that what we'll do to this LED strip has relied a bit our depositors think essentially when this comes to being rendered or just be a chrome strip let's take these vertices up into the top as long as my interfere with anything guess I was good that makes them look meaner just look like they do go straight over the top of the hill as they just gave a kind of what am I do is this it's an edge loop we were said to be close to the center of these phases in the center here okay gonna grab these maybe I'll just leave those there I'm gonna make sure but these are following a cool line rather than being a little bit distorted and that's looking pretty good so with these sections here it does appear to have a little bit more inside I'm gonna do is see a new type and this time we're gonna take the thickness all the way down and rotate it back to you so 90 degrees sickness is 0.1 0.05 I'm going to take this to the center here scale this down go for something like that and let's insert edgeloop grab all these control key I'll pull this out and I'll grab all of these top edges go to the same treatment as we did before I'm going to scale them up so a bit nice and straight let me take that inside there something like that then let's it's a nice loop in this center here just do the one that we finally gonna hit ctrl e just gonna scale that all the way in here maybe not all the way I shall let's go to something like this then we'll pull it forward because we're gonna want to get some curvature on this I saw it again then I'll extrude it again here and then we're gonna go in nice and close windows get all these merge together so get all these together like so and then eventually I should end up the center a nice rounded area to that aim to drop this inside the block to so not take that side here okay it's looking good and then finally we just have an area around the side here for the repeater so maybe we will create this out of a plane rotate this 90 degrees now this time what we're going to do is we're going to keep all of these blocks let's have a mess around here and see as I see if we can do something with this because what we're going to need is we're gonna want this obviously to fill the size there which practically does we take this in we're gonna need something that really goes from there we're gonna be something that's gonna sit in there something like that but what we do one is want to have a bit more to this I'm gonna go for the soft selection here let me hit B on the keyboard let's take that fall off maybe dance like 0.9 works and what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna pull this forward that's something like that so it's cutting inside there it's maybe just pull this around a little bit here just until it's kind of giving us some curvature inside well do not really - first I'm just going to duplicate this check that over here and this is going to be the bulb for future so I'm just gonna do some math onto a very simple once the glasses over the top you can see too much of it now we will want to have some differentiation on here so let's say an edge loop something like that hit B to enough song selection then hit control V and I'm just gonna pull it and maybe just select these two these faces here because there's some shape to those blocks a huge position do something like that and then finally let's just isolate it's not too bad around here I'm just gonna create a new plan I just want to block off this rear section it's a little bit messy here but you get the gist not too bad once all of this is hidden with lights and shadows it's not a big deal up here to remove the bring this forward add material to differentiation to this to sentence idea that's going to kind of just give a little bit more depth to these lines okay happy with them you're pretty good just inside here what we'll do now is we're gonna get the glass in place but I think I'll speed that up in the interest of time for this video essentially what we're going to be doing is create a flame and as usual want to reduce all of the subdivisions down and what we're going to want to do is I select these two because we want the glass here to sit on the actual cases we don't want this to sit on the actual bodywork paint so we'll bring this on I'm gonna want to do is just essentially lay this over the top and pull some point so I'm just gonna speed this point these this section up and I want to do times two or something like that so we can see in the next episode we'll work on the realize you you you you you you you [Music] you you you you [Music] you you you you [Music]
