hey there what's up everyone hope you guys are doing excellent today in this video I'm gonna be bringing you the top 30 tips and tricks for your iPhone 10 are alright so in this video I'm just gonna be giving you the top 30 tips and tricks that I have found for the iPhone 10 are so these go from basic tips and functions to get the most out of your iPhone 10 are alright so let's get right into it so for trick number one is that you can enable dark mode on your iPhone 10 are so as you can see the notifications will appear in black and the settings the background will be in black and all the icons will have different colors to them making the screen look much cooler and it will actually help you save battery as well you do this by going to General accessibility display accommodations and here you will select where it says invert colors and it will give you two options smart invert and classic invert I prefer smart invert because classic invert as you can see will make most of the icons appear in purple and will change the colors in a different way another thing that you can do with your iPhone 10 R is that you can reach the top of the screen one-handed much easier by swiping down at the bottom of the screen so sometimes with one-handed function it will be kind of difficult to reach all the way to the top of the screen for certain functions but you can make this easier by swiping down at the bottom of the screen it will bring the top of the screen down so that you can reach whatever it is you're trying to reach much easier and you can do this by going to settings go into general then accessibility and then here you'll scroll down to reach ability and just make sure that you have it turned on tip number three is taking screenshots so it's super easy all you have to do is press the volume up button and the power button at the same time and it will take these screenshot of the phone and then you can select it and edit it any way that you prefer you can write on it with the different tools down here that the app gives you and customize the screenshot so on your iPhone 10 R if you swipe from the left to the right you will have your widgets here the different apps that you can select to have shortcuts to and view like partial information on each one if you scroll the way to the bottom you can edit the widgets that will appear here so you can select your favorite apps to show up here and remove ones that you don't want so for tip number five another cool little trick you can do is if you swipe from the left to the right or right to left on the bottom of your iPhone you can actually switch between your recent open apps so very cool feature here and a quick way to access your open apps number six is a pretty basic function that most people know if you swipe up from the bottom of the screen it will open up all of your recent apps so that you can choose in between all of them to see which one you want to open or you can swipe up on them one at a time or two at a time to close them up so the camera on the iPhone is one of its most exciting features so you can actually change the settings of the camera by going to settings scrolling down to camera and here it will allow you to change different settings you can set the recording video quality you can set it up to as much as 4k at 60 frames per second you can select the slo-mo video quality you can also select the different formats and you can also select to have the grid so that when you're taking pictures and videos that will show the grid on the camera so here's a privacy tip so what you can do is you can set the notifications that you want to appear here in your Notification Center maybe there's a certain app that you don't want to receive notifications from so you can go to settings go to notifications and then here if you scroll down it will show all of your apps at the top here it will say show previews and then here you can select if you want to always show certain apps or only when unlocked or you can select never or if you want to customize each app individually you can select on the app itself and here it will give you the button here to either allow notifications or not allow and it will also give you certain other options that you can choose from how to display the alerts so another cool thing that you can do with your iPhone is that you can set it so that when you tap the screen it will wake you might have the option disabled though that's why it's not working so how do you enable it is you go to settings you go down to where it says general then accessibility and then here you will select tap to wake and then just make sure that that is turned on and then when you tap your screen it will wake and you can preview the time date and notifications tip number 10 is speak screen so another cool thing you can do is if you swipe down on the top of the screen with two fingers it will automatically start reading the screen out loud for you and you can slow down the read speed by tapping on the turtle the App Store search comma profile manager publishers or make it quicker as well publishers and you can do this by going to Settings General accessibility and in accessibility go ahead and find where it says speech and then in speech just select speak screen speak selection will read a portion of the screen they select and speak screen will read the entire screen tip number 11 is that you can use your iPhone 10 R as a magnifying glass all you have to do is triple click the lock button and it will open up the camera as a magnifying glass and it's very powerful more powerful than the camera itself it zooms in about two or three more times more than the camera so let's test it out here you can see that it zooms in a lot more I'm going to compare this now to the camera zoom so let's open up the camera here and let's zoom in all the way so that you can see that it does not zoom in as much at all there you go and you do this by going to settings go to general accessibility making sure that magnifier is turned on so select it and then flip the little switch here to the on position so another pretty useful tip is you can zoom in on any portion of the screen on your iPhone so go to Settings General accessibility and then select the zoom and make sure that zoom is turned on and then once it is all you have to do is double tap the screen with three five and these zoom box will appear and you can navigate the zoom box around any portion of the screen with your finger by moving it around and once you have the right area selected with three fingers you can scroll around and choose the area that you want to zoom into once you're done you can double tap with three fingers and it will close the zoom box another cool thing you can do is you can customize the size of your text font for everything from your settings to your apps font and your dial pad and messages and we can change this by going to settings going down to general going down to accessibility and then here you can select larger text and then here at the bottom you'll be able to choose the right text size for you another cool thing you can do is you can choose to have everything on your screen zoomed in so you do this by going into settings here you're gonna select display and brightness and then here you'll select view and then here you can select from standard view or zoomed view and what it does is it just zooms in the size of the app icons and everything on the screen will look a little bit more zoomed in tip number 15 is that you can have landscape mode in settings for your iPhone 10 R this is exclusive to the iPhone 10 R and Tenace max in settings you can flip the screen sideways and it will give you dual screen mode where you can view the settings on one side and the selected setting on the other side another cool thing you can do on your iPhone 10 R is you can quickly access the flashlight just force press on the flashlight icon from the lock screen and the flashlight will turn on you can also force press the camera and the camera will turn on as well straight from the lock screen another cool feature you can have on your iPhone 10 R is that you can set your screen wallpaper to move perspectively as you look at the screen so as you can see here as I'm moving it up and down the earth picture on the back moves with my eyesight as well and we can select this by going to settings going down to wallpaper here you select choose new wallpaper and then after you choose the wallpaper then here you'll select the mode instead of still and in perspective that's where it will move with your eyes as you look at it so with your iPhone 10 R you can also customize your portrait shots so you can get more professional portrait shots what you'll do is you select the natural light setting up here you can select from a couple different settings natural light contour light studio light stage light stage light mono so a couple different settings here that you can choose from for your portrait shots and then after you take a picture you can edit it even more you can select edit here on the shot and you can select the amount of aperture that you want on the photo you can swipe from right to left and it will either blur the background out more or make the photo look normal without any blur another cool thing you could do with your iPhone 10 R is that you can select the right shot so this is with live shots as you can see this picture right here I did not come out very good with my eyes closed but you can select a picture hit edit and here it will allow you to select from the multiple shots that it takes when it's taking live shots so you're able to select and choose the right one once you find the right one you can select make key photo and hit done and it will make it the main photo to do this just make sure live photos is on which is the yellow circle at the top of the camera screen tip number 20 is so that you can screen record it so you can actually screen record to a video like this where you record everything that you're doing on your screen to do this simply go to settings go over to where it says control center and then here you're going to select customize controls and here you can add anything that you want to your control center so we're going to add screen recording once you add that you can swipe down on your control center and screen record will be right here just tap on it and in 3 seconds it will start recording anything that you do on your screen once you're done go ahead and hit the red icon at the top and hit stop recording number 21 is so if you ever have an emergency and pressing the two buttons here volume and power it will automatically call emergency you can select and swipe medical ID and it will automatically send all of your medical information that you have saved onto your phone to the emergency responder and you can set this up by going into the health app that comes pre-installed in your iPhone and just going through the settings here and filling in all of your information and then here in the next portion of the app you can fill in your medical conditions medical needs allergies any important information that will be vital in assisting you in the event of an emergency and when calling an emergency number you can also set emergency contacts and these contacts that you adhere will be alerted if you ever call the emergency number through your iPhone once you finish putting in all your information and setting up the app then it'll be ready with the medical ID so that if you ever place an emergency call they will receive all of your medical information number 22 is so that you can check your battery status and also check which applications is draining your battery the fastest so you go to settings battery here and battery it's going to give you all of the information of the battery usage it's gonna let you know what apps are using the battery the most maximum capacity peak performance capability and also if you want to see your battery percentage unfortunately in the new iPhones it's not going to display it on the screen so you have to swipe down on the control center to view the battery percentage so number 23 is that you can have a home button again on your iPhone and it's actually a digital home button and you can set it to have different functions and you can move it around and place it anywhere you like on the screen so you can do this by going to settings going to general accessibility and here you will scroll down to assistive touch and then just make sure assistive touch is turned on and once it's turned on the little home button up will appear and you can select the functions for it you can make it take you straight home or open up a menu with different selections to it another cool trick you could do is you can block access to anyone other than yourself to be able to view notifications or even the control center when the phone is locked so to do this you have to go to settings face ID and passcode and once here you're going to scroll down to where it says allow access when locked and here you will select which apps you want to allow access to when the phone is locked so you can disable control center and notifications so they won't show up when the phone is locked so tip number 25 is to get a stronger password so here in face ID and passcode you can go to change passcode and here select passcode options and it will give you the option to either put a four-digit pin passcode or a custom alphanumeric code which will be numbers and letters to make it a stronger password then the standard six digit numeric code that it comes with so another cool face ID and security feature is that you can setup an alternate appearance so this is good for if you want to add somebody else to be able to unlock your iPhone with their face or if you wear a wig or on a daily basis your face looks different sometimes you may want to add that a different face look here so that you can unlock your phone easier and also one more face ID security feature is that you can set it up to where it requires your attention to unlock the phone so here on face ID and passcode you're just going to want to have require attention for face ID enabled so what that means is nobody will be able to unlock your phone if your eyes are closed or if you're wearing like sunglasses the phone will actually need to see your eyes open to unlock it so tip number 28 is that you can access Siri by just saying hey Siri hey Siri I'm listening and you can set her up by going to settings and settings you'll see Siri and search and then here you'll select listen for hey Siri and just enable it you'll have to go through the prompts here you'll have to say hey Siri a few times so she can recognize your voice and she'll be all set and you can also customize a couple other different things like Siri security language and voice style and number 29 is for the side bun here if you press and hold it Siri will activate but it can get pretty annoying sometimes when you press it by mistake and it keeps activating Siri so you can actually disable that if you like so all you have to do is go to settings go to general go to accessibility and here you will find side button select that and then here will allow you to choose from a couple of different options you can set it to activate Siri voice control or just turn it to off and then when you press and hold it nothing will happen anymore and for the last and final tip number 30 I'm gonna show you a nice little trick here that you can use when you're sending messages or just typing anything on your iPhone 10 are so let's say you're creating a message and you're typing something in and you mess up and you want to go back in there and change something so usually what we'll do is with our finger we'll place it on the actual text bar here and try and you know move it around to the spot that we want to change but it can get complicated especially if you have big fingers sometimes you touch it and it selects the entire word so there's a much easier way what you do is you tap and hold the spacebar and you can move it around much easier to anywhere on any text that you're trying to change and this will also work with any other type of app as well so you can use it if you're searching something on Instagram or typing in a post also it works on Facebook even on YouTube so it's pretty much a function that works on iPhones on any app and is extremely helpful and will speed up the process when typing and maybe a correction needs to be made alright so there you have it those are the top 30 tips and tricks for your iPhone 10 our so hope you enjoyed the video hope you got some nice tips and tricks to use on your iPhone and that is it for now I'll see everyone in the next video and as always peace ciao
