3 Ways To ELEVATE A Basic Outfit | Everyday Ideas

hi guys welcome back to my channel today I'm showing you how to elevate a basic outfit Deezer foolproof tasks that will take you from how nice is your you're not a zero from one hundred to a thousand a daily basis if it's white tee and jeans bundle and jeans and a little blood dress so we're gonna start with the first outfit a t-shirt and jeans the first thing we're gonna do is put the t-shirt and the jeans it is a revolutionary hack I know but honestly this is the easiest way to make it look a little bit more clean looking presentable you see your waist that's what we're going for so the first way to elevate any basic outfit is accessories and for this one I'm talking specifically about jewelry so I'm gonna start with this watch I picked this minimal and clean watch from move men who are known for their affordable quality watches and I really wanted to go for a cleaner air a local special now that it's summertime and then I also love with jewelry how you can mix different metals and by the type of jewelry that you choose you can completely transform the vibe you going for so for this outfit specifically I'm kind of focusing on more of like an everyday basic outfit so I took my dainty minimal chic jewelry like these dainty rings actually for my collection Mayibuye valaria and this earrings and all I really want to bring to this look it's not necessarily statement pieces but more of these like everyday basics that can elevate that looks in a very understated way I decided not to really go for necklaces for this one because usually I don't often wear necklaces when I do wear crewnecks also for this one I wanted to focus on another way to bring in a different kind of accessory when I found a scarf I was like oh this is a great way to bring into a basic outfit a little bit of color and a little bit of texture and at first I was like I could use this as a belt which you totally could but then I was like I don't know if I would wear it so I don't want to put it out there because maybe someone's gonna wear it and they're like oh why did Salaria tries to do that so I decided to actually play this car into my beauty look so I decided to make a braid and incorporate the scarf into the braid now if you have these silk kind of thinners cards there are so many different ways to wear them but this is a great example of how you can totally get them into your basic look I really wanted to have some hint of color because I'm gonna play off these colors with the rest of my accessories at bag and shoes right now it's really really trendy to have those 80s inspired kind of bold shoulder t-shirts and you see them they're sold everywhere I decided to do a little bit of digging and seeing how I can repurpose my old t-shirts and make them a look this way all you need to do is to make sure that you have pretty sturdy and tight bra straps and then you take it over your sleeves and then you pull the top of the sleeve to where you want the sleeves to end this already creates more of a masculine ish look less kind of frumpy that sometimes can happen with kind of basic t-shirts you can apply this trick on literally any t-shirt you have instead of spending money and buy a muscle tee you're welcome the next way to elevate any basic outfit is to focus on makeup I did want to play off like I mentioned before a little bit of the colors that are in the scarf so I picked this Ilia lipstick that is very similar to one of the colors that is present on the scarf and apply it to my lips and cheeks I'm going here for more of a fresher look more of a summery look so I just used that to continue an amplifying that clean summer look next up is mixing styles so by mixing styles is basically you're taking two different styles and bringing them together I feel like for me my go-to is mostly feminine and masculine I love when there's kind of that girl Levi but then something that says you know I'm gonna yes for this example something like this basic look I'm bringing in heels to take it to a more feminine vibe now especially with the muscle teeth give us a little bit of those masks and advice but then we have the pretty braids with the scarf and then you have the heels and all of a sudden it becomes outfit that you can wear for brunch with your girlfriends or grab it early dinner or drinks with your girlfriends and then the next trick I'm gonna be using to elevate this outfit is by color blocking I absolutely love this strategy in the summer because there are so many fun colors especially now that are really trendy again if you're a little bit unsure about color blocking you can even use colors that you do have in one of your accessories playing off the scarf that as you can tell became a very prominent part of this look I'm gonna take a bag I decided to do the gray one first to show you that you know you can go for a little bit of a more understated color but it's still different and it still works together or you can totally mix it up with a color like this pink bag that again has this whole summer vibe going pink and yellow go really well together depends obviously on the shade of it and then you also just have these sparks of color and intrigue in your outfit that just elevate you know your basic tee and jeans to something else these elements is what when people say you'll be like oh she's got style next outfit we have is the white button-down and Jean so this is again wanted to choose a really basic after that all of us wear and have and for this specific look I wanted to kind of focus more making it office friendly kind of casual business look to me nothing feels more business II like a good watch so I decided to pair this movement watch that has its brown strap to bring a little bit more of that like vintage am going for more neutral colors I wanted to bring a little bit more kind of interest with the necklaces you know the neck is very visible because you have a button down so I wanted to bring in jewelry but I also wanted to bring in a little bit more color through necklaces that have colored stones in it so for me I chose this ruby necklace that I love and layered it with this gold layer chain and the heart that is my favorite piece that we are launching the art of talking is a very important way to elevate any any look so I actually made a whole video about the art of so usually for button-downs I often go and buy them from the men's section I love their shape more they kind of look more crisp and more structured this one is another example of a men's medium that I got from Uniqlo and the way you talk oversize button-downs is close to mid way and then I'll take one part of the shirt and talk it to one side of my jeans and then the other side to the other side and that helps me to avoid that bulge that sometimes happens when you just shoved a lot of fabric in your pants and with bandhans there's actually so many ways to wear them just by the way you tuck it or by the way you button your buttons let me know if you guys want me to make a whole video about that I literally have like eight ways to wear a button-down the next thing is bringing texture color and pattern this is the easiest way to upgrade any outfit and for this one as I mentioned because I'm focusing this look more into the office environment I decided to bring in this Zara blazer that has a little bit of texture it has kind of a light summer wool feel to it and look to it the color is this kind of cream topi one that still kind of flows with not being too loud I love to take out the sleeves to kind of bring in my own style then we are mixing styles I wanted to bring in loafers and mix it with this business casual look you got comfort and got chic and that this is all about other ways I wanted to show you that you can continue accessorizing is first of all the spin so this spin is something I would use if let's say I wouldn't wear the necklaces because you don't want a lot going on on your upper body that kind of also gives a little bit of bling a little bit of personality to the outfit and other ways is put some sunglasses on this is also from a layer by Valyria and there you have it this is the little black dress that I actually realized is not at all a little black dress it's MIDI to long black dress I kind of pinned it to give you that basic mini black dress look because I wanted to show you what can be done and how it can be worn other than you know and it's kind of traditional way of really high heels so I wanted to actually make this look feel a little bit more edgy you know that a red lip will always make me feel much more confident also bring a little pop of color to something that's very basic and I decided to opt for a color that has a little bit of orange in a little bit of like pink in it so not your classic red so for the hair because I'm going to add a funky aspect to this outfit I decided to go for this low slick bun that will kind of bring an aspect of classiness to this look the next step I took to elevate this basic outfit is to bring in like I mentioned something with texture of color of pattern so I decided to bring in one of my favorite favorite Blazers that have ever ever purchased and this is from mango that gives me clueless vibes just makes me feel really cool this one has our colors that would play really well with the lipstick that I chose but also has some black some yellow some red and orange in it we're just going to bring a little more personality to my outfit for accessories I decided to belt the Blazer because otherwise I look like 10 year old wearing close I wanted to make sure that it is a skinny belt because there's already a lot going on with the pattern and then mixing styles this is a perfect example of how I usually wear my looks so these are my common projects boots that I love and cherish these boots paired with every tool dress every summer dress every evening dress that you can imagine I love wearing chunky boots with a really feminine pretty dress so this is again another way to a be super comfortable and be to make it a more approachable look rather than wearing super high heels and this is a look that you can wear during the day and take it tonight and then finishing off this look with an accessory with these sunglasses I love please don't take any photos please and
