there's something very eerie about abandoned places their isolation and backstories are usually fascinating and while most of these places are off limits the most courageous among us usually find a way to get inside and send their bravely taken images to the rest of the world is 25 have covered abandoned places before but we decided to look much further to find 25 particularly creepy abandoned places that have long since passed their Heyday while some have been redeveloped or demolished their legacy remains Vivid in the eyes and minds of the world I'm Mike with list25 and here are the 25 creepiest abandoned places on Earth [Music] 25. bangar Fort India the bungar fort which is said to be the most haunted spot in India was built in the 17th century by the Monarch bhagwantas in the Indian state of Rajasthan Legend tells us that his daughter turned down a local sorcerer who approached her with a magical potion in an unusual turn of events while grieving the loss he failed to detect a boulder sliding down his path and was crushed to death moments before his death he cursed the entire Kingdom of bangar for perishing and dying in agony let us fast forward for centuries there have been numerous reports of Paranormal Activity and stories of tourists meaning tragic ends leading many to believe that the curse in fact exists the government forbids any foreigners to be in the area once the sun sets 24. the ryugyong hotel North Korea the Ryu young Hotel also known as the yukyung hotel or the 105 building is one of the world's creepiest abandoned buildings according to the Guinness Book of World Records it's also the tallest vacant building in the world the building's construction began in 1987 and was abruptly halted in 1992. construction resumed in 2008 but was stopped again in 2011. the ryug young reopened in 2018 after LEDs were put onto its facade transforming it into pyongyang's largest light show and a propaganda machine it features a four minute video depicting North Korea's history and various political slogans while the cone at the top displays a massive North Korean flag the question is will it ever be open construction of the building is still in progress and it has never been occupied 23. that diplomats or other high-ranking officials have visited or stayed on its premises and could not be further from the truth originally built by Dominican Friars the Japanese Army occupied the hotel during World War II and it was the site where atrocious acts of murder torture and rape were committed against prisoners and refugees the U.S bombed part of the structure near the war's end following that a luxury hotel group purchased and renovated the war-torn structure from the government the hotel closed down when the owner died a few years later it's said to be haunted by victims of the Japanese Army's horrific crimes three via DaVinci Italy the foreboding House of witches near Lake Como Italy was built as a holiday home for count Felix divechi between 1854 and 1857. the family only Russia this Hospital built in the shape of a biohazard symbol is at the top of the list when it comes to urban legends this Infamous location has been the subject of terrible tales with some arguing that its development was abruptly halted due to budgetary constraints in contrast others believe that local authorities intervening against a satanic cult caused the rise of an unsettling presence or entity in the building in addition to being a well-known Haven for satanists the building was also no stranger to paranormal activities and weird shadows would often be seen moving in dark rooms without any light the entire structure was eventually covered in graffiti and completely dilapidated the building finally met its end in 2018 when it was demolished 1. pavelia island Italy the abandoned plague island of pavelia is believed to be so evil that few Italians ventured to set foot there in fact fishermen refused to fish in the water surrounding the island and access was restricted for many years though numbers vary more than 160 000 people are believed to have died in pavilia and they didn't go quietly being taken to pavelia was essentially a death sentence and people would resist vehemently knowing they would spend their final days in a literal hell on Earth some claim that the soil on the island is 50 Ash due to all the cremations that had to take place as I would go to a camp I wasn't supposed to but I would kind of explore I found an old slaughterhouse you can still see like some of the tools and stuff on the wall uh supposedly there's an old KKK site near my Camp um yeah just kind of the slaughterhouse is probably one of the creepiest places I've ever been myself um not really that's all I can think I have been to any like their supposed hauntings at the Tampa theater downtown and I have been there but while I'm there it wasn't creepy like we were watching you know plays and stuff and operas and ballets but not but so technically that is a creepy place I have been to I just didn't experience said creepiness um and I haven't I'm not I've never had any experiences one way or the other I've never so like it was a creepy building because it
