good morning and welcome to my shop and this is Bruce welcome back thank you for watching and this is last year's Varzi summer bash that we had in them in the US and there's another one happening this year we're all coming out with shirts with different shirts and and Bazzi has also got shirts that all proceeds for those shirts are going to help all of us YouTube creators make a clue the - and bzo available to show our wares and in legal with everybody that comes along and show and what we get what we know what we can do and we've also of course got some fun and games going on as as usual else or the third bash coming up in June and just could everybody get behind that that will be fantastic now today and I'm going to show a unit that's come in for for reworking in it this is a flywheel the flywheel like a lot of fly wheels they get they get shiny after a while they get blazed over or they just lose their lunacy of them their flatness and they need to be machine this one is too large to go in my lathe so I've set it up here on them on the mill and I've set it up with my Marik's boring by the larger boring bark and I'll show that to you in action and we'll do the quick ones just to run and so because times always difficult for me loading up movies so we'll show you this one quickly and now expire itself and how it will have all that works I'll just swing the camera around and down you can see that sure everything's nice and tight okay so that's that's the head and it has it has holes down the bottom here for for direct football for doing boy or a hole through a horizontal one which can be used for facing and in this case where we were facing we're using it to face off the the flow area now I've set it up with a stop here and this stop when that makes contact with this pin it stops the automatic radius operation H each time this I'll just take that out here we've got these markings each one of these markings is a setting for the amount it moves out the radius per revolution and the way that operates is simply by having the handle in there you can either hold by hand or like I've got here got a bar coming down and and that is a slip fit so and the bottles around they you pull that out you stop it from advancing but the real way is to set the stopper here and you can see there's quite a quite a large range on this one that's a nice over 40 fixture we've got that so that's near the handle goes in and coming in here we're turning returning it in a clockwise direction facing downwards now when when this bar when the stop comes to the ends it triggers the mechanism inside and this is pin here and jumps and releases itself sandstone and that stops the advancing of it there quite complex units as a there's a few different ones made as a young is a Taiwanese vertex type there's the narrow axe Merricks which is the Czechoslovakian and we've also got there's also other brands the German ones well-known American German ones and we can adjust this back they'll clean here and we can just slide any push it in this there's a bit of retention inside and that's got to be pushed in otherwise you're fighting against the gear and then you can manually turn that in and out I'm doing that right now so that we don't start back in that same position this removes the unit off some touching there that's okay we're not available now on this side here you see that rosette will come in a bit there so this rosette that's another one we can use for setting and that's that's 1/100 of a millimeter per per marker division and so that's like bird point two five ten thousandths or two two point five ten thousandths of an inch and we have a locking screw here but that locking screws only use with leuh boring when we don't want any movement horizontal movement we then set that up I'm taking off point three of a millimeter here on that cut and that hopefully that one cut will be all we need to finish this job off so we set that back swing that around the handle in the hole it'll go up you'll see this moving and bouncing around quite a bit that's a piece of spring steel bar and we'll show you the cutting action this time maybe take a back out of flexion there we go hopefully there's not going to be any dust around here otherwise I'll stop I'll stop the camera take the camera away so there we go [Laughter] be denominated surface probably in slightly different home for the different areas of the coverage the object detected by world attention the shore tonight Ariel in the middle that's where it was living the question what they have left that's a very slight subtle at 500 another little below our motivation set up Carla's much quicker than inserting it out the Napoleon is over that's a little lower other things smaller probably little damage also all in all the show [Applause] just like the camera weird in a bit closer and you can see here we call that steady a little bit of movement there the generally speaking is quite good the two bolts in the center were more than enough to hold it down but I've also added a couple one on either side with some shims in it just to try and stop it causing that movement but she's coming up nicely and you will see if we can see these we'll see those cracks taxi so it looks like one cuts going to be enough to to do this job and thanks for watching thanks for watching and everybody go well have a great weekend
