about geography helps to know the lay of the land and kwaii is unique it is a circular Island so it's best to look at it like a compass one thing we asked a lot is can you drive around it and you can't the Nepali Cliffs make land access around the island impossible two popular places to stay are the NorthShore and the Southshore the Northshore you have Princeville and honay Bay absolutely gorgeous lush tropical landscape up there is what you're used to but one big cave during the winter you get really big swells you get those nor swells so going to the beach can be very dangerous doesn't mean you shouldn't go up there sightseeing but just kind of know what to expect if you're going to stay up there but the Southshore is really nice pretty much all year long that's why you have poo beach in a lot of resorts around po bo Beach it is beautiful down there you also have the east side or the Royal coconut Coast you have white l a river there you have a lot of hotels there and it's centrally located so it's easy to get around then on the West Side you have WEA and the famous WEA Canyon not a lot of places to stay over there you have a WEA Plantation Cottages but great sight seeing over on the West Side ready to go for a drive let's do [Applause] this now if you want to go let's go let's WP it up and hit the road I just got an awesome VI striking the win post now on my Nini Beach this is at Northshore Kawaii this is a really pretty beach great for kids cuz it's so calm got nice ref out they're protecting it it's also one of the best noral spots in the island in our opinion there are no restrooms or showers here but you'll pass them away cuz there's a county park so that has showers and restrooms for you there is a nice quiet beach down here usually quiet when we're here it's quiet [Music] n [Music] oh [Music] this is why L Falls a little bit of a drive but I got me all these drives are beautiful you get off the main road you go up these winding Mountain paths very tropical when you think of Hawaii that's what you think [Music] about [Music] [Music] we are in coloa town right now historical coloa town this place has some good food trucks right in the center of town look for the old plant Old Sugar Mill Smoke Stack is the only thing left but it's a nice park right in the middle of town got picnic table here in the shade they got a good selection from noodles to Tacos to barbecue can't go [Music] [Music] wrong all right here's the beach and then here start of the [Music] trail [Music] there you go camera whoa good one huh Henry y good jump [Music] bud [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] w [Music] by mayia Canyon State Park is worth going to anai it's a nice thing to do over on the west side of the island this park is beautiful everyone knows as a Grand Canyon the Pacific Mark Twain did not coin that turn by the way but it's a nice park to go to cuz it's got great hiking has waterfalls it's very like relaxed you can just pull over and see stuff see the sights kind of enjoy it for the day as you go up you just get better and better views bigger and bigger waterfalls this one is one of the first ones I think it's around mile Parker five it's a fun place to turn out and walk [Music] around so it was kind of cooler to have it be cloudy when we first got here because then the clouds parted and everybody was like so definitely worth the drive it's not that much [Music] further oh sneak attack sneak attack sneak attack we're off let's go get get some lunch huh buddy lunch in y mayat Town yeah whoa that was a lot
