let me show you 21 insane capcut editing tricks you should know in order to enhance the quality of your videos let's kick it off with vocal isolation if you're a YouTuber or a content creator in general you've probably faced this issue you want to include a Beat from your favorite song in your video or maybe you just want the vocals without the beat cap cut has made this process easy and you'll be amazed by the result first let's choose the song we want I personally use epidemic sound to avoid any copyright issues with music first we'll import the song into cap cut and then drag and drop it onto the timeline for this tutorial I'll trim the song to about 15 seconds now let's zoom in on the [Music] timeline I'll create two copies of the song Because I want to separate the beat and the vocals onto different layers to copy simply select the layer then rightclick and choose copy next let's move the playhead to the beginning of the clip right click again and select paste alternatively you can use the usual shortcuts finally click on the volume icon to mute the track you don't want to hear let's start with the beat select the song and rightclick then hover over vocal download arrow and choose the folder where you want to save the image but what if we want to change our canvas size after you've written your prompt click on adjust image style you can choose general for the ratio let's enter 16 to 9 since it's for a YouTube video make sure to increase the steps to 50 for a more detailed result click anywhere on the screen to save your settings now let's generate as you can see our screen ratio has changed if you want to save time there's a helpful feature called the Showcase button in cap cut clicking on it will reveal various beautiful backgrounds that cap these prompts by simply clicking on the blue use prompt button once clicked it will automatically paste The Prompt into the box then you just need to adjust your desired ratio and click on generate into one layer to split them select the video right click and select extract audio now you have two separate layers one with just the video and one with just the audio to save only the audio click on lot like a special filter that can give your videos a whole new vibe to use a lot start by selecting the video then in the top right corner click on adjustment activate the L option and next to the name click on the box to select your desired L now take a look at this video with the L applied notice how the skin tones don't look quite right but fear not there's a handy feature under the L options called protect skin tone when I activate it you can see how the skin tones return to their natural color this feature is super helpful for keeping your skin tones looking just the way you want them the 11th AI tool is called Auto reshape it's mainly used for enhancing your face in different ways kind of like photoshopping your face in a video let me demonstrate how it works we'll use the same video clip for this first select the video go to the top left corner under video and click on retouch in the retouch menu you'll find auto reshape click on the small box to activate it you'll see tracking icons appear indicating that it's focusing on the face instead of explaining let me just demonstrate moving this slim adjustment to the right makes the face Slimmer while moving it to the left enlarges the face the same principle applies to other adjustment you have the freedom to make them bigger or smaller like chin length which can shorten or lengthen the face among other adjustments you can also edit the eyes nose mouth and eyebrows so if you're hesitant to begin YouTube because you're self-conscious about your face Auto reshape could assist you let me demonstrate what motion tracking can do here we have a video of a lovely lady speaking on the phone while moving around I'll select a sticker to illustrate how easy it is to use motion tracking with cap cut let's simply drag and drop this sticker onto our timeline with the sticker selected go to the top right corner and choose tracking first I'll adjust the arrow to point to her head to start motion tracking click on the motion tracking icon I want the arrow to track her movement in both directions so I'll keep it set to both the scale option determines that as she moves closer to the camera the arrow will enlarge and as she moves away it will shrink personally I prefer to turn this off I'll keep the distance option enabled now I'll use this yellow box to select the part of her body I want to track since I want to track her face in this video I'll ensure that her entire head fits within the tracking box by adjusting its size now I'll move the playhead to the start of the sticker make sure the face is completely inside the box then click on the small blue button labeled start while it's working you can see in the background how well cap cut is keeping keeping track of the subject's head in real time after a few seconds it finishes let's watch it again that's how it appears sometimes the tracking might not be perfect but considering it only took us less than a minute that's what makes it framing of your content not only does it do that but it also keeps track of the main focus of the video let me demonstrate how it works using the same video here you can see a woman moving around while on a phone call if I were to Simply adjust the canvas ratio using a traditional method and play the video you'll notice that the woman moves out of the frame which isn't ideal however cap cut offers a solution let's revert our video to its original state first select the clip and navigate to the top left corner under basic scroll down until you find auto reframe click on the small box to activate it since we're aiming to create short form content the aspect ratio should be 9916 you can see how the AI tracks the subject automatically using the chosen ratio in addition to adjusting the aspect ratio we can also tweak the image stabilization Although our current footage doesn't require any stabilization the final adjustment within Auto reframe is the camera moving speed this feature allows you to control how quickly or slowly the camera follows the subject when I choose slow observe how gradually it tracks the subject and when I select fast notice how quickly it follows for now I'll leave it on the default setting and click apply as you can see our video has been reframed but we still need to adjust the project ratio to 99116 as well and there you have it our clip is under video click on remove BG the first option you'll see is auto removal click on the small box to activate it the AI will automatically analyze the video and delete the background in a few seconds our clip is ready it may not be perfect but it's very usable all I need to do is simply import my new background and blur it let me just remove the color effect it looks better I find this feature more effective when you are not dealing with a lot of hair strands and it works best on close-up videos inside Auto removal there are options to use Strokes if you want personally I don't use the stroke option however I've played with auto removal in many of my videos hope you check them out after watching this let's talk about the next feature called stabilize I'll import one of the videos I just shot I intentionally shook the camera a lot while filming to test out the stabilizing feature first select the video it's at the top right under basic click on the small box next to stabilize to turn it on it will take a few seconds for processing once it's done let me first show you the before version then when you activate stabilize this is how the after version looks like you'll notice that the video has been cropped in in order to reduce some shaking movements If You Don't See Much changes you can click on level and select most stable you can see that it slightly helped stabilize the footage however the footage is still shaky this means you should always try to get the most stable footage while shooting so that you won't be disappointed during editing editing is there mainly to fix small shakiness that you couldn't avoid while filming do you have some unwanted graphic noise in your video I'll demonstrate how to fix them using cap cut I've used the same footage we were using making it a bit noisy by adjusting some settings here's my best attempt let's get started first select the video clip then go to the top left corner and choose video then basic scroll down until you find reduce image noise turn it on once the processing is complete you'll notice the video looks smoother let me show you before there were some noises but after applying the noise reduction the video looks smoother you can also adjust the level to control how much smoothing you want in your footage give it a shot and let me know in the comment let's move on to the next feature which is motion blur since there's a lot of shaking in this footage let's reduce it by adding motion blur first select the video again and go to the top right corner then scroll down under basic until you find motion blur click on the small box to activate it like any feature it'll take a few seconds to finish processing now let's see the final result you'll notice that the shakiness has transformed into motion blur let me play it again without motion blur and now let's play it with motion blur on inside motion blur you can adjust how blurry you want it to be and also adjust the blending Additionally you can choose the direction of the motion blur you have the options of forward backward or both for this example I tried using forward here's how it looks looks under Direction you can adjust the speed of the motion blur let me pick four times the speed and see what will happen I'll keep the direction on both it is finally done let's replay the video looks awesome the faster the speed the more it gives off a ghosting effect like you often see in music videos I hope you will have fun using this feature in your projects the 20th feature we have is autoc captions as we all know to make your content more engaging you need to invest your time in creating captions that is why you'll see big channels take captions seriously especially on short videos this increases the engagement for your videos let me show you the fastest way to generate captions in your video firstly make sure your audio is clear enough for the AI to transcribe here we are in cap cut I'm going to use this short video as an example navigate at the top and select captions then click on autoc captions choose your spoken language or if you don't know the language of your video then select the detect language option and then click on this generate button the process is very fast let's play the video there you can see the captions have been created although they are not very visible I'll show you how to edit it select the generated captions and navigate to the top right corner when you click on the caption tab you will be able to delete or add more words now let's customize the captions by clicking on text you have a variety of preset styles that you can use however I don't like using them let me show you something cooler click on template this is what you should be using animate templates of different styles let me walk you though some of my favorites starting with this Mr Beast kind of style this is mostly good even for short videos since it's big and bold by the way if you want to know how to animation we have an animation out animation Loop and captions captions is where you should focus because there are some really cool pre-made viral caption animations that you might want to use in your projects let me demonstrate some of them they look absolutely fantastic I hope you'll start start using what I've shown you today in your videos last but not least retouch this AI feature will help you retouch people in the video furthermore you can be able to add makeup to the people in the video Let's drag and drop the video we'll be using onto the timeline I'm going to zoom in so we'll clearly see the changes on the face follow along closely first select the video then go to the top right corner and click on video then select retouch the first option is retouch click on the small box to activate it and reveal the retouching tools look at the magic you have the option to retouch either a single person or a group of people if your video includes a group of people you can easily retouch their skin since this video only features one person let's choose the single person option the initial slider you'll see is for skin smoothing slide it to the right to make the skin smoother and to the left to reduce the smoothing effect as you increase the smoothing observe how the skin changes when retouching aim for a natural look without going too far let's set the smoothing to about 37 the second change is to make the skin brighter this adjustment focuses only on the skin making it appear brighter however for this video we don't really need this the final adjustment is for Whitening the teeth watch how the teeth change as I move left and right the AI does a great job identifying and altering these facial features so for the teeth let's aim for a somewhat natural look making them too white will make them appear fake now let's watch our video you'll notice that even as the person moves the changes we made remain consistent as a bonus feature let me show you how to
