2024 Tacoma SR5 is a STRONG Upgrade from 2023

good morning everybody today we're going to walk around the allnew 2024 Tacoma SR5 we're in a world filled with Tacomas right now and this is the SR5 in Celestial silver metallic it's the 4x4 double cab with a 6t bed I'm in Malibu California at the national press preview for Tacoma and there's a lot to see believe me they're all lined up here but what about that SR5 let's walk around this one in the front you'll see that it has the horizontal grill right here nice chunky bold lines has the LED fog lights parking sensors LED headlights daytime running lights has Toyota safety Sense 3.0 and then we'll walk around the side as well this has the I force engine so that means it has the 2.4 L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission this is going to give you 278 horsepower and 3177 pbet of torque something you'll be happy about too it has four wheeel disc brakes these are 17inch Alloy Wheels 245 70r 17 tires here's what it looks like with the lights on and we'll walk around all the way to the back as well we're in kind of tight compartment here but that's okay we're moving on it's okay look at that air flows right through channels in it's aerodynamic my friends and then look at the fenders how they jut out right here that's pretty cool stuff here's your blind spot monitor there's me in the mirror I'm looking at the Jeff in the mirror so here we go do you like the lines on this vehicle in the back you can see these LED tail lights I like the slim design here the vertical I like it I like it like that so here we go it's got backup camera and then we'll just let that that flow down here so we can see the 6t bed it's composite bed it's got cleats deck rail system and we'll sneak on in here so we can see the leg room the head room see it kind of goes up there at the back that might improve your Headroom on either side these seats are more forward I'm not going to change the position of them today obviously if they're back there's going to be less leg room but it seems to me like it sits a little bit higher that hit point is just a bit higher I'm told than last generation and if we want storage room it goes all the way down just like that and what if you are a back seat passenger what are you going to see well Ted you're going to see JBL speakers in this particular one we've got single digital temperature the 8 in multimedia screen you can go up to 14 in in this one so so it's pretty huge and then we've got tow Hall mode ECT power two wheel four-wheel this one has the nice readout here you can scroll through in the center section nice controls what else is going on in the front is it like a mullet business in the front party in the back well party in the front too look at the texture on these cloth seats here the fabric seats storage right there storage over here all right this one has lumbar support and it has the ability to raise your seat up these are pre-production Vehicles so the graining has not been done on the door panels the side seats it'll be more finished I don't want you to think it's something when it's completely different sunglass holder here bing bang um this is auto dimming reever view mirror I believe and then it has the home link for garage door openers this is Toyota audio multimedia so it's going to have wireless apple carplay and also Android auto and then you can just scroll through you can pinch Zoom all that stuff set up your preferences ask it questions tell it to give you information and the computer will give you information it's very conversational the voice commands very intuitive I've been mostly impressed with it here are some other specs you might think are important important on the car here it's got the coil spring multi-link rear suspension double Wishbone in the front this one has upgraded heated seats leather steering wheel JBL yeah 10 different JBL speakers here starts at $40,900 so what do you think about the SR5 Tacoma and how does it look in Celestial silver thanks for watching everybody I appreciate you being part of my channel and hitting subscribe I'm at Toyota Jeff reviews Instagram Tik Tac YouTube and Facebook all four platforms and then you can find my second Channel Auto Jeff reviews lookit Toyota Lexus and all different brands I appreciate you guys all see you next time if you have some extra time check out my Tacoma playlist we've got lots of old generation Tacoma content but we've also got plenty of 24 Tacoma videos for you to check out hopefully it'll help you out with your research I appreciate you all see you
