2023 Tesla Model Y Dream Car Delivery Day - Hardware 4

good morning we are on our way to pick up our brand new 2023 model y we're going to bring you along and show you what the experience is like taking delivery here with my mother and my wife Dion [Music] uh bass like the fish all right thank you [Music] [Applause] if I just got out of blocks sounds good [Music] all right [Music] if you can just flat your app for me okay just go back one can you hit View do you remember if you signed this already or not um you'll get full access to the vehicle that way and you compare the key card actually smells nice [Music] okay so people say to look around the car and make sure there's no major defects before accepting delivery so just gonna look around make sure there's no major scratches or anything like that and then there's a checklist that we downloaded that we can probably take a look at when we get home and Report any issues okay all right thank you very much [Music] you can borrow it as long as they don't speak to him yeah no problem thank you first drive so far so good crazy crazy right overall the delivery experience was pretty straightforward um when you arrive they if your appointment if you're ahead of schedule they'll let you sit in the Tesla Lounge for a few minutes and then they'll call you on time the lady runs you through all the stuff that you need to sign and then they walk you out to your car everything is done through the app so you accept delivery on the app but before you do that make sure you walk around the car check to make sure there's any defects there's nothing glaring that stood out to us the only thing I noticed was the charging port wasn't closing all the way like flush to the car so I just talked to the lady she called one of the service technician to come out and literally all he did was just push it like the plastic piece underneath the port he pushed it it locked into place and now it's working properly oh yeah overall I'd give the experience like a 8 out of 10. um so right now we are going to charge the car it didn't come fully charged um I didn't expect it to but but they give it to us with 40 so we gotta go and charge it for a bit before we head home I think it's just literally says it actually said the word stop but last time when I was driving with my mom I didn't get close enough to the charging port okay we are doing our first chart session with um what's the name of that car Jesse Tessie how do you don't know your car's name well you name the cars you name everything anyway right now we're at 45 uh we're probably gonna charge up to 90. uh it doesn't really say how long it's gonna take I guess because we're not on a road trip or anything like that but yep it looks like it's charging pretty fast from what I think I don't know oh okay it says 30 30 minutes remaining 30 minutes remain [Applause] s a day I sit down and write a brand new round because they say that Miracles never see I created a devastated masterpiece and autopilot show us are you used to this he's got a monitor it just watch it [Music]
