(2023 NEW FIX) Windows Update "Error Encountered" or "Update Failed" in Windows 10/11

good day everyone welcome back to Crown geek in this video we will discuss that how you can fix Windows update error encountered on Windows 11 or windows 10. so right now you can see that I'm on my Windows update and while updating my windows it says error encountered and it asks me to retry so even if I click on retry it just failed and give me the same message or either it says update available but nothing is working all right so what you will have to do here you have to click on Advanced options just make sure that this all options are being enabled so enable them one by one then here in the search box you have to click and type troubleshoot then click on troubleshoot settings click other troubleshooters and then look for Windows update and then click on run now this will detect the problem and it will let us know that where exactly the problem is so that we can fix it out kindly wait until it detect and resolve the problem foreign [Music] so the troubleshooting has been completed and it says check for Windows update issues alright so next what you will have to do you need to close everything click on your windows search type CMD right click on the command prompt click run as administrator then click on yes now here you will have to run few command that you will find in the description so copy these command one by one come back to the black window right click and paste it hit the enter key now we copy the second command again we can right click and paste it hit the enter key do the same with the third and the fourth one so once all the command are completed close it now click on your windows search again type services click on the services app then here you have to look for Windows update service once you get the Windows update double click on it now here you have to assure that the service status is running and the startup type has been set to automatic so if it's being set to manual then you have to select to automatic and if it's already running then click on stop and again click on start click apply then click on OK and now you will have to restart your computer kindly go ahead and restart and once the computer get restarted again right click on your windows search click on settings go to Windows update and still I see the update failed but if I click on the retry this time now this will be checking for the update [Music] and then it says updates available and you can see that all the updates are now updating and downloading all right so if you have any similar issues like error encountered or update fail so that problem will now be resolved just make sure that you have the proper internet and the stable internet connection and after applying all the solution so now you have to wait until the downloading and the installation of the new updates are being finished so hopefully guys this video will surely help you to fix this kind of problem on audio Windows 11 update and if you found this video helpful do not forget to like And subscribe and I see you in the next video bye
