[Music] hi I'm Angie I want to welcome you to national indoor RV centers where we specialize in the sales storage service and detailing of only high-end new and used coaches so basically we do it all [Music] hi today I'm super excited to show you the all-new 2021 Integra Reata XL now the XL comes on the Spartan k2 chassis with the Cummins l9 turbocharged diesel engine with 380 horsepower and it has 1150 foot-pounds of torque now I'm going to out myself out just a little bit I didn't quite understand torque until someone told me your horsepower is what gets you up to speed your torque is what keeps you there so you've got you've got a lot of added torque here in the excel all right so I want you to notice a few things on the XL first of all look at that beautiful windshield this is what you're going to get to see the country through so your vacation starts your trip starts the minute you get behind the steering wheel when you're in an RV and you're just going to love it now a new feature that they added in 2021 that you're also going to love is the 360 camera so you're going to have four cameras around the coach they're all going to come together and they're going to give you a bird's-eye view inside the coach and it's fabulous so this is your first right in the center above the windshield is your first 360 camera of the four then look at this beautiful paint job this is the ironstone exterior paint and we've got sickens paint is what Integra uses then we've got the diamond shield that goes across the front of the cap here to protect it from bugs another thing I always recommend too is after you get your campground or when you get home if you don't wash the entire coach make sure you watch that wash off that front cap where all the bugs are there are a few bugs out there that will still try to eat through that shield and you want to do everything you can she protects your beautiful coach now I also love as everyone knows the backlit Integra it just looks so great we've got the beautiful lights and it's just a fantastic looking coach along with a great writing coach so Integra has given us the chrome exterior mirrors now you can control these inside for the top portion of the mirror the bottom convex part of the mirror you do have to adjust manually outside so typically you'll have someone doing that for you outside while you sit in your drivers seat and get them just right we also have their heated and then we have our camera another camera in the mirror that's for our blinkers left and right so then we put on our right blinker we're gonna be able to see down the full length of this coach which makes this really easy to drive give you gives you confidence when you're changing lanes and just knowing what's around you along with that 360 camera then we've got the first of our LED marker lights and one of the things that I love obviously great I'm grab bars for when you go into the coach and then next to it we've got a keyless entry path so you can just give that your own unique code that way you can let in your family members grandkids service technicians or just for me I don't have to remember to take my keys with me I can lock the coach and then get in without the key so I love that then we have our first docking light for the passenger side of the coach now a standard on the Reata XL you get the 275 Michelin tires that's huge because Michelin really has good tires another thing that I want you to think about is retro band so one of the things you have to think about with a class ideal Diesel is protecting yourself if you were to have a front end blowout if you have retro band on you actually have a spare within your tire so what happens in a blowout is typically that rubber will come will second to the center of the wheel and roll off and then your rim hits the ground and it's going to be very hard to control your coach so with retro band you never have to worry about that first of all it's designed to keep the rubber on the tire and then it actually sits about four inches above the rim so you can drive on it get off the road and get to safety but I have a full-length a shorter angie video about 15 minutes on retro band said go and check that out you definitely want to have the peace of mind of having that on your coach so one of the cool things that you get with the Reata XL is the Vega touchpad so you can control most of functions of your coach from that pad you can also download the app to your phone to where you can do pretty much everything on your phone so I'm gonna go ahead and demonstrate how to take my awnings out right here from my touch from my phone so I want to go ahead and do the patio awnings and extend them all right and then I want to go ahead and turn on my patio lights so I'm gonna go back to my lights and go to my exterior button and then I'm gonna go on in lights well oh there they are don't you love that now another cool thing that you can do is you can kind of direct where those lights go so I'm going to go back to my awning control and then just by hitting the extend or retract I can change the direction of that light so so down towards the ground or I can push it back towards the coach wherever you want that light to shine so that's pretty cool I can also do my extend my entry door awning from here [Music] so how nice do those awnings look so easy to put out by a touch of a button on your phone and then you add the lights I'm ready for a party so speaking of a party we better pull off the TV because surely there's got to be some game some sporting event to watch right so we have our 39 inch LED insignia TV and what I love is Integra gives you the ability to swivel that TV and tilt it so depending on where the glare that Sun is heading that's a super nice feature because believe me if you can't tilt it sometimes you can't see the TV and then just behind the TV we have one available 110 outlet I don't think I mentioned which floorplan this is and this is the 40 q2 floorplan just so that you know as I'm going around the baggage compartments outside what you get in this particular four point because sometimes the floor plans will change your storage just a little bit so in here we have our first compartment now obviously we want light right so I mean go back to my handy-dandy little app here and just go to my exterior lights hit my cargo lights and they're on I just love this makes it so so easy so in this big compartment you've got the two 110 outlets then you've got your quick air connect now if you go to my RVing 101 series part 2 hitting the road I go walk you through the steps and show you how that you can use your diesel engine to air up your tires if you need to you can also use it just for like Falls and stuff for the kids but if you ever need it in an emergency to air up your tires you can do that you've got the big diesel engine is a is a huge compressor air compressor so you can do it yourself so again go to that video and then I also wanted to show you everyone's always wondering how much space they get so this is about 21 inch opening you've got a lot more space inside here height wise and then I'll let you know what you've got as we move down in the baggage storage compartments as far as height goes in our second compartment we have another new feature for 2021 pass-through tray gotta love this so you just lift a little lever here and pull that all the way out it's really nice so you can it's gonna pass through so you can access this from the driver's side or the passenger's side now the only thing with the pastor tray you do little bit lose a little bit of height in your storage compartment with the tray so between the chassis rail the bottom of the chassis rail and the bottom of the storage tray you have sixteen and a half inches just so you know so that that's what the pass-through height is going to be you obviously have more height than the front in the back and then you're probably wondering what this little tool is so this is for your window awnings so you see this little attachment here you're just going to thread this tool through your window on it pull it down and then you just put it right on there super easy so with my window awnings three-point connection I I dare leave my coach and keep those awnings out because it does help keep the inside of the coach cooler now with my big patio awning I'm not going to leave that out when I'm not here you know I live in Texas most a time and I'm telling you a big strong wind can come out of nowhere and really damage that so I only have that out when I am here to kind of watch it now one thing that you can do the with this awning is that you can adjust the pitch so I'll do that a lot of times especially if I know it's going to rain so you can just a pitch so that it will be lower on the far side away from the door and that will direct all that rain water over to this corner versus this corner where I'm going to walk out of my coach and I don't want it to be a big muddy mess so if you want to go ahead and adjust the pitch of your patio awning then you're just going to push that in and then push up here I'm going to go up three and then let me extend the awning and you can see how it will have a different pitch so that the rain water will come off on this end so as you can see I've adjusted the pitch and it's lower over on this corner you can also do it so I did it in case of rain but you can also do it if you if this shun if the sun's coming directly at you you want to lower that pitch you can do it on both sides I just did it on the one side for rainwater and then here we have another big this is also passed through without the tray so this is going to give you a little bit more height i measured from the chassis rail to the the bottom of the storage compartment and you get about 21 and a half inches pass through so you get your you get about four and a half more inches of height plus there is areas that you get even more height than that word the chassis rail isn't so don't think that's the only amount of Heights you get if that makes sense then come on down here let me show you a few things in this compartment now right back here if we're not lucky enough to have you as one of our storage customers at national indoor RV centers this is the cutoff to your house battery so you have two L 16 AGM batteries that come standard in the Reata XL if you are not storing summer where you're plugged into 50 amp service like we keep you collected in a 50 amp service then you want to make sure you turn that off so that you don't have any parasitic draw on your house batteries all right behind this panel it just velcro's off this is the circuit board for your Firefly system which speaks with that works with the Vega touch and then this is where your house and your chassis batteries come together and while I've got you in here I also want you to notice the 2000 watt inverter that you get with Avery oughtta Excel and Tegra tech setup inside the chassis rails so that you don't end up packing too many things around it and it's able to work perfectly right there in this compartment we have our 100 gallon freshwater tank it's just behind this panel now this is also we have a fill here this would be say your out dry camping and you need to put water you're not hooked up to city water and you need to fill it manually you would do that right there also if you wanted to sanitize your tank you would put those chemicals in right here as well I also like that Integra gives you a little window here so you can kind of visibly check and see how much water you have you're also gonna see it on your phone and on your Vega touch in my RV in 101 series you can see some of the modifications and the way my customers pack their coaches so if you want some clever ideas go and check that out one of the ideas that one of my customers showed me is they got velcro and used loops to like hang extension cords here and hoses even a tool so even though this doesn't look like it's storage space they actually have made it work for a little bit of storage space now just above or next to this we've got our marker light and our docking light the docking lights are super important as you pull into a campground especially at night you really need to have that light to illuminate the ground around your coach just to protect you as you pull in so you can see where you're going and we've got the little hook here for our window awning and then I also want to note that we have the double the dual pane frameless tinted windows throughout the coach and just when you think we're done with storage we have one more storage compartment here on the passenger side just a nice sized storage compartment pretty tall there and fairly deep in our last compartment here we have our chassis batteries so this year they've lowered those batteries and made them easier to get to then we have the Spartan dish Power Distribution Center this is all the fuses for the back half of the coach are behind this panel here we have our battery cutoff for our chassis batteries now if you're storing somewhere other than National Indoor RV centers where we keep you plugged into 50 amp service at all time you want to make sure you turn those off so that you don't have that parasitic draw another little key if you're storing your coach or when you put it in storage you should put it into storage with a full tank of fuel just because if you don't you're gonna get some just condensation in there and that will put a little bit of water and your fuel tank and that's not good for your engine this is your air dryer and this needs to be serviced and changed once a year and then we have our fuel filter for the engine and our secondary fuel filter for the engine so lastly for the passenger side we have the exhaust for your dryer and then we have our last marker light and then let's go ahead and have some guy talk talk about the engine back here so first of all we have our radiator we have our hydraulic oil and then if you look down below here you put your coach in Reverse you hear that shh-shh sound that's where that's coming from if you want to disconnected that's how you would do it right there I do not recommend that though that alarm is there for a reason so and to keep us safe but just want to let you know what that was now we have our engine oil fill and our engine dipstick just above it then we've got our engine coolant now you want to look and that bulb should always be fully red so again that's some one of those things you check every time you take your coach out you want to check your coolant and add it if necessary if you do need to add it it's right here then we have our transmission oil fill in dipstick and just to the side of that we have our filter minder for our engine when this goes up it means it's time to service and you should do that at least once a year and let's have a little radiator maintenance talk so you want to keep this clean so you know maybe after every trip you just get your garden hose out just put your thumb over it and gently squirt off the radiator screen here just to keep it clean and working more efficiently for you all right so let's talk about this down here this is Spartan safe Hall brake line and this is the air line for your tow vehicle it's given to us by stand by Spartan which is great and then we've got our 7-way for our lights for our tow vehicle our hitch which we have a 10,000 pound here on the Reata so that means that you're gonna have no problem showing that 4000 pound Ford f-150 or a group Jeep Grand Cherokee not a problem with the Reata XL then you see the Integra across the mud flap below and our engine exhaust here and then on the rear cap of the Reata we've got that extra brake light up top and our third 360 camera does it go around the corner here I want to point out this event here it looks like it's just decoration kind of part of the coach but that's actually where the air comes in for your engine it goes in through that vent into the engine air cleaner and then it's filtered and goes into the engine we have our marker light and we have our 50 amp Shore power cord and our search guard transfer switch so this is a transfer switch for the coach I recommend that you also put one on the pole or have national and RV centers install another search card protector inside your coach just so that you kind of have some extra insurance you can never have enough also great thing about the Reata XL is that you get the weight for it the power the power reel which is huge if you've ever wrestled with one of those cords on a cold morning or evening they're dirty it's messy the power rails to die for I also also like to usually have like a wash cloth or something in weather just kind of clean it off as it goes into my coach and the power rule makes that really easy to do as well then we've got the engine block heater so if it's a really cold morning you're getting ready to take off you want to warm up that engine you'll just plug that in right here and next to it we have our cable TV input and then obviously the power reel button here and then we just have storage in the rest of the space our next door we have our 10 gallon de F fill so de f stands for diesel exhaust fluid and that does have a shelf life so it usually is good for a year just check the expiration date and I also know that it doesn't like light or heat so if you know you're going to a campground you're gonna be there for three or four months you you wouldn't want to fill that then wait and fill it when you're ready to take off on your trip then we have our docking light for the driver side of the coach and another marker light and onto the wet Bay all right so here we have our stinky slinky and we also have a spot where we can thread that through right here there's this rubber seal here so when our garden hose when we hooked up to city water we can thread that through here and we're going to keep all the critters out of our wet Bay so this is our little tool to change our water filter for the coach and we've got a little extra light in here as well this is our tank flush valve and our fresh water connection so when you're ready to dump this is where you would turn on your macerator now also you can do a gravity dump with this coach as well so you would just hook that clear elbow on underneath here and then use your granite gravity dump hose and this is the t-bar to release that here and we've got our t-bar for a great tank t-bar for our black tank and our water pump this is our hookup for city fill and then if we turn it we'll be filling fresh water our freshwater tank we have our external shower this is great especially if you're at the beach or if you've been out you know riding the four-wheelers all day and you're muddy and dirty and I don't want to track all that into your coach you can spray off outside and you've got hot and cold this is the tube where you would win tomorrow as your coach another thing that you don't have to worry about if you store with National Indoor v centers and you've got the winterization instructions right here you may be wondering what this exhaust is for this is for your 250 diesel aqua then if you want to clean out your whole wet Bay here squirt it down you can just leave that drain up or you can push it down once you've got all clean again keep everything nice clean and no critters in your coach all right the Rihanna XL comes with the 250 diesel aqua hot that I just mentioned the exhaust for that so that's pretty cool because that's what you're going to use for your on-demand hot water and your furnace once you go below 40 degrees so we've got it in here now this needs to be serviced at least once a year and we can take care of that for you at national indoor RV centers just above it we have the fuel filter for the diesel aqua hot and we have our central vac system and this is where you change out your bags and then we have our pass-through storage here without the tray and if you just peek in here up above on the ceiling is where we have the four cameras that come together to create that 360 camera bird's-eye view and there's our fourth camera and here is our pass-through storage with the tray so again like I said accessible from either side really makes it easy to get to all of your goods and then we have our another storage compartment here and if you just look up at the top here you can see one of the slide mortars for this slide just above me and behind the store we have the hydraulic system for our hydraulic leveling jacks and just behind there you can see the reservoir another hook for your window awning and then we've got our 100 gallon diesel fuel tank for the Reata XL our first ducting light for the driver side so we have to when the front one in the back and then we've got our generator exhaust right here we have the light for this compartment on and off and this is the fuse panel for the front half of the coach now just inside here we've got the t-bar to extend the front cap so we can get to the generator final marker light for the driver's side and now let's go check out what's behind that front cap it's really hard to move out alright so inside here we have our windshield wiper fluid and our wussy horn and then you can see our 10,000 watt Onan generator we also have the breaker here for the generator where you can start and stop the generator the generator hours the coolant and the level right so here's the fan for our dash AC compressor and we have the air horn back in the far corner alright I have a couple more things to show you before we head all the way inside so another new thing that's been offered this year for the Reata XL is this removable screen window so a lot of times the co-captain doesn't want to look through that screen as they're enjoying the countryside on their trip so now you can just move four little tabs - at the bottom - at the top take that out it has a nice little fabric container that you can put it in and put it into your storage area and then you don't have to look through that anymore so it's nice to have that option the other thing that they've given us is a little storage tray here right at the entrance I love this just because it's great for you know the pet leashes umbrellas tools that you use often outside just you know things that you need to get to quick and easy right here when you go to get into coach all right let's head inside so I love when I walk in the door I've got great grab bars to help me get in and out safely and we've got our fire extinguisher right here to our right so that's easy to get from outside or inside the coach hopefully we never need it and then over here we have our main power disconnect this will disconnect our house batteries so that's nice if you are leaving for the day and you don't want anything on you can just hit that button real quick and disconnect everything you've got your step power switch so once you're camping you don't want there step to go in and out and that's unnecessarily you just want to hit that Pat the step power switch so that when you open and close your door it just stays extended we've got our step light so this is just giving us some safety light as we enter and exit the coach then we've got a nice little light panel right here at the entry door so we can do our light master off or master on we can extend and we tracked our patio awning we can turn on the lights for our patio awning the cargo bays the main ceiling and the porch now anytime you see those arrows that means that that light is dimmable so you can turn it on hold it and it will dim a little so welcome to the beautiful living room of the Reata XL 40 q2 floorplan now look at all this seating that you have here isn't that wonderful Flexsteel furniture this is the Onyx interior with the stone wall gray cabinetry and we've got the Manhattan style wood so I think it's just really beautiful very modern looking and I love the ceiling treatment can't wait to get into this interior but before we do that let's just go over some of the storage here in the cockpit area so here to my left first of all we've got our nice reading or map lights and what you could just touch those dim bright and off so that's really nice and then inside here we have the on button for our over-the-air antenna and we've got storage here one of our stash speakers more storage here with about two available 110 outlets then we have our 32 inch insignia TV more storage above the driver here with four 110 outlets speaker and a huge storage department there all right so let's head into the living room I've turned around the captain and co-captain stairs now this is really nice because we have a recliner added to the well actually two recliners that we've added to the living room so you can just sit back relax and enjoy your company and we also optioned in the theater seating in this floorplan so we have theater seating and these are powered so again more reclining options and these go way back now I just have to stay awake there's really comfortable and right inside where we've got the power buttons we have USB charging ports so on each of them and then when I flip up the little space where I can put my remotes there are two more USB charging ports so you don't have to worry about finding a port to charge your phone your iPad your air pods whatever you need and we also have cupholders in both seats as well now just behind me above underneath the overhead cabinet I've got two 110 outlets and the switch for our lights we have this nice big window with a beautiful valance this is an emergency exit window if we need to so check out the storage now what I like about these first of all you've got the double struts we have no divider in here so you can get a lot of your stuff in there whatever you want to put their plates glasses you name it I just it gives you all that available space so it's really nice now across the way here we have more storage and we have our sofa this has a fold-out bed I'll demo that for you in just a second but before that we've got this big space here big window and on all of our windows we have manual day nice shades then we've got the TV left so we just push that up up comes our 50-inch insignia TV we've got shelves here that are adjustable and then we've got our Winegard traveller satellite so that's 4 HD high-def in the campground and we've got the inputs there for satellite receivers or if you want to add in motion satellite you could do that there your HDMI input we've got our sound bar here and then we've got our matrix box so that way we can choose what we want to watch do we want to watch a DVD or off the satellite one satellite - or off our auxilary input and then we can choose which TV we want it to go to so we wanted to go to our main TV bedroom TV exterior TV or overhead TV and our sony blu-ray player and more storage here and then in this little box we have our air pump so might as well show you how the bed works it's super easy alright so I'm going to show you how easy it is to make this gold and double bed here just going to move our cushions and we're just going to just a little tab here pull it out go this way forward alright so there's our little pump let's go ahead and like that in open the porch here and like in our pump you have a nice little 110 outlet right here nice and close let's go through that and then we just close the valve and we're ready to host our guest now to deflate the bad it's super easy we just open it flip the the main valve hair open and just let all their out I even start to fold it just a little bit to kind of help move that process along you just want to make sure you keep that open and let all that air out and then you just go ahead and tuck the bed all right back in where you found it easy as that so you're probably wondering how many the Reata XL 40 q2 sleeps so you're gonna really get two people in the sofa two smaller people ish in the booth and then two in the bed so it will comfortably sleep six people now what's really cool about this booth it doesn't look like it but it's going to seat six people and make into a bet so let me show you first how it makes into how I extend the booth and then I'll make it into the bed so to extend the booth you pull that lever open and then you pull here you also have storage and that storage goes way under there so that backup then you bring in your extra cushion here this will also be part of your bed in a minute so this that's pretty tight I'm sure that you'll kind of work itself in and then the cushion here so now you easily can get six people and extend the table and you've got extra prongs here to make it extra stable so isn't that nice then I'll go ahead and do the same on this side pull the lever out very easy to pull out and then you've got the access to your storage note that we have seatbelts on both sides of the boots so for seatbelts in this booth and then and the next cushion in and there we have a booth for six okay so now let's take our booth for six and make it into a bed for to the table just comes out you pull it out and then you push it down and in gives you your nice base there go ahead and take your cushions and flatten those out all right so I thought these cushions were gonna go in here for the bed but they're not a very tight fit so I think the backs work better and I'm just gonna put those both in here push them down and check out our bed all right so we have two 110 outlets that's what I plugged in to do the air mattress with over here we've got our lights and then we've got another set of to 110 let's and lights more storage again no divider so you just have all that space to work with and we have to 110 outlets underneath the booth alright I'm always excited to show off the kitchen because it seems like it's where moms and if you're lucky dads it's been a lot of time in the kitchen so my house it's more so the mom but I love that we've got this extra counter space and then check out the full extension drawers three of them solid surface countertops super beautiful and we have a little spice cabinet here in the corner one in each corner right up below the overhead cabinet we've got two 110 outlets another 110 outlet all right that's it that's plenty and then we've got storage above and I love this tray check that out isn't that nice so you don't have to reach way back into the back really like that then we have our single bowl stainless steel sink the residential faucet I love and then we can't miss for 2021 what's the big add the kitchen window everyone loves the kitchen window so super easy to use you could just do it with one hand just pull this open you've got a screen you can also open that screen you just pull this back and then you can hand stuff to people outside if they're super tall I don't know that I could reach but I could hand something or throw you know lunch out the window and our second spice cabinet and like I mentioned before we also have the shades that our manual day and night behind our kitchen window then we've got our cabinet underneath the sink here it's huge and you can get a full-size garbage can in there that's a big deal to me too so I really like that we have our convection microwave oven our Furion induction cooktop so you just need pans that a magnet will attach to to have them work on an induction cooktop then this big drawer how nice is that and another big drawer so great kitchen and we have a kitchen fan we can control that on the Vega touch here next to the theater seating and the kitchen we have two 110 outlets and two USB ports also in the kitchen we have our dustpan so if you click that and it sucks everything up we have two more 110 outlets and then over here in the corner we've got our thermistor for the front part of the coach that's going to communicate with the thermostat to make sure we keep the climate nice and comfortable for everyone then we've got our pantry and you'll love this pullout shelves how nice is that they came out all the way and we have four so you could be surprised at how much you can get in those shelves even though they're fairly narrow you know all the plastic containers and everything you can get you can store a lot of food in there and then we have the great side-by-side freezer refrigerator that feels so good look how big that is it's huge and one of the bonuses is this tilt indoor ice so if you need a whole bunch of ice you can just pull this out pour it into your pitcher or whatever to your cooler and then we have ice and water in the door I love that super important it's on my check let's make sure you lock your refrigerator freezer before you take off on a trip or you're gonna end up with food all over your gorgeous floor all right we have the receptacle for our hose for our central vac and then our carbon monoxide detector and then follow it all the way up to our favorite panel that they could touch alright are you ready for a little Vega touch lesson I mean go through it in pretty good detail but the best way to get comfortable with this is just to use it and it'll become second nature plus you've got the app on your phone which is really handy alright so let's go over the Vega touch so I'm here on the home screen and we have our master on and off lights and our on and off for our exterior lights our kitchen lights which are dimmable living room lights dimmable and our porch lights so we can just turn that on or off easily from here we can lock and unlock our entry door it's going to give us our reading readings on our house batteries and our Chester batteries and then this is our AG s is just disabled right now so I don't have the auto gens start turned on we'll get back to that our AC so the temperature inside the coach right now is 79 79 and 80 water pump I can turn that right on from here if I'd like and then my tank level so our fresh tank a hundred down fresh tank gray tank 60 62 gallons and black is 41 and they are all on empty now we have the controls for our fans so we have the exhaust or intake for the kitchen and we can we can control that here our stool room or half bath and then the master bath and then the inverter is disabled right now and the charger is a float so we can go to our electrical again our house battery reading and our chassis battery reading we can start and stop our generator from here this is where we disable or enable our AGS system and this is our low volts or HVAC those are the triggers for our age yes so let's go ahead and check that out ok so here is where we can like customize our setting for our auto gen start now we're gonna have our auto tune start we're going to enable that okay so let's give a scenario where we definitely want our auto gen start on say we're going to Canon have you ever been to that awesome flea market you can get carried away and you may plan on going for three hours and spending eight hours there so in the meantime you want to keep your coach cool you want to keep your pet cool if you happen to leave the pet in the coach and you want to keep your refrigerator running so you want to make sure that OTO gents Start is on so the triggers for your Auto jumpstart are low volts so I'm going to trigger it so that if it goes below 12 volts I want it to come on the minimum run time is going to be 15 15 minutes then max would be 720 well it won't go that far it's basically going to get it up to 13 point 5 once it gets it up to 13 point 5 volts it will run for another 120 minutes just kind of just top it off and then your HVAC say that you set your coach you won't you don't want it to get below 70 to 70 degrees and it goes above that it's going to trigger the HVAC so that it will turn on the generator run the AC units cool down the coach and take care of make sure everything stays cool while you're away all right so we have our lights we have our master on and off and our exterior master on and off and then the rear of the coach bed overhead bed bath ceiling stool so we have our main lights our living room ceiling living room accent driver side sofa kitchen dinette and passenger side sofa our exterior lights our awning porch and cargo lights then we go to temperature controls so this is where we can control our rear AC mid and front and it's just really easy to adjust those temperatures and we can turn it on cool keep pump aqua hot or Auto cool heat pump Auto and then the front cool heat pump aqua hot or auto and then we've got our cargo bay this is where we can heat our cargo bay so we don't need to worry about freezing now we have our aqua hot burner and our aqua hot electric so when do we use one or the other well your aqua hot electric gives you about five thousand BTUs your aqua hot burner gives you about 50,000 BTUs so if you're just washing your hands go ahead and turn on your aqua hot electric and you can just keep that on if you're gonna go and take a shower then I'd go ahead and turn on the burner so that you get hot water quickly now we've got our floor heat here to our floor heat in the Reata XL is electric and we can set the temperature right there all right so let's go to our house this is going to be a warning just to make sure the driver seats are in the right location there's no people or objects in the way of the slides and then I love this because it's color-coded so we have our red slide is our driver side slide extend in which and retract then we have our orange is our passenger slide extend and retract and our yellow or chartreuse is the extend and oh that's for the bed slide so on the Reata XL you do have to put the bed up to bring in the slides and then we've got our awnings here extend and retract and they're color-coded as well the door entry door awning and then the bed up and down tilt is right here then we're to our settings page so this is where you can adjust the brightness of your screen I usually like them bright this is where you can connect your mobile your your phone to the Vega touch by downloading this mirror app and then inputting the information there and then you can do temperature or Celsius or Fahrenheit it's going to give you your floor pan the clock on the dial here and cleaning mode hit that when you want to clean off the screen so that you don't push any of the buttons so pretty easy you're gonna love it just spending a little time with it and you'll get very comfortable with it alright let's go ahead into our half bath I do love and tech are always give a nice sized half bath we have the big solid surface countertop here with the integrated sink a little towel bar we have a light switch for our vents and our lights nice big medicine cabinet to 110 outlets storage below and then we've got little storage compartments here three of them place for toilet paper and we've got our day and night shades on our window and then we have the petal flush toilet all right finally the beautiful master bedroom so we have our king-sized bed with storage underneath quite a bit of storage actually and then why I've got that bed up I just want to show you that we have 110 outlet and USB on both sides of the bed so it's easier to see while that base is up also under the bed we have our power control center or breaker box and then we have breaker box and Pew Center fuses here so in each side of the bed we have a nightstand and a little cabinet for storage now I do like that they give us a nightstand because I know a lot of folks have CPAP machines so we have a place to set them and then we can plug them in underneath we've got our manuals shades now this is the button for the bed tilt so that's kind of nice if you want to sit up and watch TV also like I said when you put this bedroom slide in you do have to tilt the bed all the way or not all the way up but it folds quite a bit further up so you can do that right here with this button or you can do it with the app on your phone or you can do it at the Vega touch pad then they have a beautiful headboard we've got the reading lights with the push-button controls we've also got our ceiling light and reading and vanity light and then we have our entry door lock and unlock and then look at all the storage that we have above the bed so it's nice and deep you might want to get some big plastic containers to help you reach that stuff I think this is a great place to store your offseason clothes all right we have quite a bit of storage nice big wardrobe here with adjustable shelves or we can just use the hanging bar take out some of those shelves depending on what we want to store there and then nice full extension drawers so lots of space there I love how deep those drawers are then we have the 32 inch insignia TV and behind that TV a little surprise for us just pulls forward here and we've got our safe our sony blu-ray t and blu-ray DVD player and then we have two 110 outlets our HDMI input and cable input and then right underneath the TV we have this big compartment storage compartment there I love how nice and deep that is and then we've got the two 110 outlets here to the side and then probably my most favorite thing in the master bedroom is the fireplace so how to talk about you know creating a romantic mood I love that plus it's going to take the chill off the bedroom like that so I think that's an awesome addition that's an optional item so you can either put that in or not look at the nice big window that we have in the master bedroom and that is another emergency exit window as well as the one in the living room so we have our second wardrobe here again you can keep the shelves in take them out completely adjust them we've got the hanging bar here and two big drawers below next to a beautiful artwork we have our second thermistor for the coach to help control the temperature and speak back to the thermostat alright check out this beautiful master bathroom in the Reata Excel first of all I love our medicine cabinets see all the space that we have in here and there's another little trick I like to do with these so you can see the back of your hair oh that but they just give you a lot of storage in there then we have the beautiful solid surface countertop love the glass backsplash with the resident and shoal faucets and then let's look at all the storage we get nice big cabinet here we could put a trash can in here lots of space and we've got another cabinet around the corner and then we have three drawers so we have plenty of space for everything we need in our bathroom here so to 110 outlet on each side and then we've got the towel ring here and our lights and our vent fan for our fantastic fan notice a nice towel bar before we go in I always like when they give us a place to put the towel so we've got one here we've got one there and then check out the size of this shower so this is a one piece fiberglass shower with the skylight I can barely touch the top with my heels on so lots of room in here love that we have the handheld showerhead that we could put up so stationary or we can use that as a wand and then this year we have the Aqua View shower Mizer the another new thing they've added for 2021 so basically what that does it's going to eliminate you from using water from your freshwater tank to get warm to warm up your shower and then needlessly filling up your gray water tank so what it does it's going to warm up the water before it comes out so you're just going to turn this dial and then you turn your water on nothing will come out because that water is recirculating back into your fresh tink and warming it all up so then when this light lights up blue then you know the waters warm so just work the Y's the first little bit of water is gonna be cold because there is water that's in this line that's not recirculating and then everything else will be warm so we have this santa flow push button toilet with the Eco normal and empty modes then we have our Whirlpool washer and dryer now have you ever come into your coach or if your new coach runners you may walk into your coach and smell like an awful smell you think maybe something's wrong with your gray or your black tank most likely what it is is that your p-trap there's no water in your p-trap so all you have to do get a gallon of water put it in your washing machine put it through a rinse cycle it will fill up that p-trap and the smell will be gone so a little easy and then we've got this great closet hanging area nice shelf that goes all the way across so this is a great bathroom love the bathroom that we get in the 40 q2 so I always like to show you what the coach looks like with the slides in so you can see that I can once i unlock the door you can easily get interested in refrigerator and the freezer and the half bath you also have access to your pantry you can pull those out the full way you could be enjoying sitting in the booth working out the kitchen sink sitting on the sofa very easy to walk through this coach alright let's go over everything in the cockpit at the Reata XL now remember a couple of big ads for 2021 we're the digital dash the 360 camera and the tire pressure monitoring system and I'll show you all those in this area up here but check out the beautiful displays on the screens your camera here it's super clear and it's just great makes it easy to and easy to operate this whole area here so let's talk about the furniture the captain co-captain chairs are very comfortable they're made by flex steel you've got the little finger control there for your armrest and then they are powered so forward and backwards and then you have the forward tilt down and up and the back tilt forward and back and then when these chairs are turned around and this will raise our footrest now let's go over all the controls to the left of me here first of all I love that they give me a little spot for my cellphone so it just fits nicely right in there and then I've got two 110 outlets just behind me here so I can charge it from here and everything so the battery boost button is super important first of all if you say you've left your touch ship and dry camping you come back and you can't get your coach started so you want to tie your house and your chassis batteries together to see if you can get enough power so that you can start your generator and then start your engine so you just simply come over here press the battery boost button together start your generator let it run and then start your engine alright then we have our pet on pedal flight so that's for our accelerator and our brake we can adjust those forward or backwards to our liking our air horn so I want people to know I'm coming in when I'm dragging something this heavy you otherwise you've got you're just kind of like your car horn now this is our auxiliary brake so I like to have mine on that's gonna give you extra braking power when you go to throw on your brakes so you see to find while you're driving you can just fill for it and turn it on and off super easy now this is a super important button because this is going to give us a lot of information here are - all right so I'm gonna scroll through the information here we are brightness I'm just gonna hit this Center and then you can adjust how bright you want your screen I like mine all the way up and then just hit enter to save it so I'm in settings and I'm gonna go up to my TPMS so that's new for 2021 I'm gonna hit that now it's showing my coach and all the tire pressure and temperature and it's saying that Tobal connected no but I'm gonna go ahead and say yes okay so what kind of tow Topol do you have one axle trailer or a two axle trailer or a three axle trailer or tow vehicle so I'm gonna leave it on tow vehicle and go to exit now that's in in the system my nav zoom so I can zoom my navigation sound volume so this is the alerts in the - how loud do you want those I've got about fifty percent let's turn them up 270 units temperature Fahrenheit speed goat miles pressure psi will keep it there and that will just go back service reminder so this is you can set a service reminder if you want to have your engine serviced at ten thousand miles you can go ahead and set that better than having or having your oil changed better than having that sticker on your windshield you can just have a reminder and here then we've got our Diagnostics configuration and back now we have our trip information so we can go to trip one is given to give us more information here it lets us know that we have 70 miles left before we run out of gas and this will tell us how much that we've used our average speed 55 miles per hour now if I want to go to trip two I just hit the center button again trip to information and if I want to reset and start a new trip I just push the center button and hold and now I can start a new trip so here's my entire pressure monitor it's going to show me my psi and my temperature and when I turn the knob it's going to show me that my tow vehicle psi and temperature now one thing that's nice about having this TPMS on your coach and your car there's times that you could actually get a flat tire in your car and not fill it so this will alert you then this is information that you can have about the coach and you can scroll through so you can scroll through this information you can choose to have one just up on your screen or you can pick for it to scan and I'm gonna have it scan and then we just have our we have a emissions check a little warning and low fuel so we can check that another thing that I like about this digital dash is that is kind of color coded so green you're good to go so your psi your battery life it's giving me green yellow is a caution yellow or orange caution so I'm a little bit low on fuel I need to fill up and if you get a red alert that means you need to stop and really pay serious attention to that another thing that you can do on this - and I'll show you when we're test driving because it's just you have to be in Drive and you can just hit your joystick forward and you can toggle to your 360 camera or your navigation system and put them right here on your dash which is really cool I want probably one of my favorite things about this whole digital - that you can do now - the steering column so there's the tilts for your Stirling steering column when you have it all the way up you can see your hazard button here and you just pull that out and push it in so super easy then you can tilt that down until it's comfortable you got your turn signals and when you put those turn signals on you can see that I'm seeing down the full left side of my coach and then if you pull that lever forward you're going to be flashing your brights now on the steering column itself they've changed that a little bit this year as well so we still have our cruise control so we turn that on set resume and cancel and now we can bluetooth our phone in so we can make a phone call and hang up a phone call we have our windshield wipers we could merely just turn them on low or high or we can set our own personalized intervals so put them on one one thousand one one thousand two one thousand three one thousand one one thousand two one thousand three one thousand and so on until I turn them off we also have our toggle switches here so we have our volume button and then this will go through the menu system here for me so I can just select whatever one I want to go to so let's go to cameras you can see my 360 view or I can pick other views that I want to see we're here here inside our building and surprise Arizona and I like to go back to that 360 view and our main menu and then just finish toggling through my nav system I've already put that in the system so there it is now on this side my toggle switches this is going to scan my radio and this is going to go flip it back to my quick nap so whatever screen I am on is going to take me back to my navigation screen so we have our headlights marker lights fog lights accent lights docking lights and our map lights or we can just keep those on auto here we have our equalizer hydraulic leveling system so you want to make sure that your ignition is off you go ahead and hit the power button and then you're going to hit Auto level so once it's done beeping and the silent all four corners are lit red you know that your level and you can go ahead and turn off the system all right so beeping is stopped all four corners are lit I'm going to go ahead and hit power we're a level now let's say that we've been at the campground for a week we're ready to leave so I'm just going to hit power and all retract so all the lights have disappeared we are ready we're in travel mode now and I'm going to go ahead and hit the power off just below the equalizer system we have our two USB ports and a 12-volt outlet and then just below that you'll see kind of a green plug that is called the Deutsch plug and that is where a mechanic can plug into the coach and communicate with the transmission and the engine we have our 3000 Ellison transmission with six gears and now if we want to go to economy mode we would just hit that I always do it and I think he's you know you get a little bit better gas mileage then you can pick your plus and your - if you push those together you'll get some in transmission information so oil level is invalid we're not driving right now or we haven't been so it's not gonna get us a good message their oil life 99% filters okay trans health okay no codes and we're back to economy mode then of course we have race haha just kidding reverse neutral and drive so the plus or minus will help you manually shift so let's say we're going up a steep mountain and we want extra RPM so we may want to shift down from sixth gear to 4th gear here we have our park brake so we pull to apply and push to release and then let's go over to our dash display here radio media center XM radio bluetooth HDMI input camera nav and setting and then we've got our controls for our AC and heat so the mode cool heat and the fan speed then we've got another 12 volt receptacle here that's great if you want to add another GPS or you know whatever people like to have that are HDMI input and our USB input and we can start and stop our generator from here then we have the two cupholders a little spot for keys or miscellaneous items that we don't want rolling around in our drawer below nice and tight fitting drawer here and then just to the side here we have our two 110 outlets all right over here in that co-captains chairs I have the same controls that the captain's chairs have had along with the finger control here also we have a little dial right in the front a tap a lever that we're going to pull when we want to turn this chair around and make it part of the living room and then the reclining lever is over here to my right so I have my step slide cover I'm going to go ahead and extend that so that I don't fall into the wheel well once we're traveling down the road now that that's extended I can go ahead and put my foot rest up so I'm really ready for my traveling I've got my passenger day shade and my passenger nightshade - USB charging ports my cup holder my cell phone holder and then just behind that I've got two 110 outlets all right so I'm just about ready to head out from our Surprise Arizona location beautiful day for us to go on a test drive in the Reata XL now I just want to give you a few little hints if you haven't driven a Class A B suppose before first of all don't be afraid I mean it is huge but don't be afraid because you have these great mirrors you've got this 360 camera with the bird's-eye view I mean it's beautiful views it's great I mean you have so much help it's as easy to driving this as it is driving the car just once you get used to the size you don't feel like you're gonna fit in your lane you do it feels weird when you turn because your turning point is at the middle of your front axle so behind you so really at the posts right here is where I'm gonna start my turn versus my tires being out in front of me like they are in your car your truck so you just get used to that fill also the great thing with these mirrors I can totally watch my back tires so if I'm getting too close to that curb I can stop adjust and I'm not gonna have a problem only time you're gonna have problems if you rush and you're in an RV you're here to enjoy all of this so there's no need to rush all right let's go ahead and get started I'm going to put on my blinker when I do that you're gonna see down the full left side of the coach and again I'm not going to start that turn until the post behind me is at the turn and then I'm just easy peasy there we go whatever direction I'm turning I'm watching the bottom not that convex mirror I can see right where my tires are and make any adjustments that I need to now if I heard it once I heard it 10 sometimes when I was first learning how to drive a class a diesel hug the left side of the lane that you're driving in hike the left hug the left I am I am no you're not yes I am okay you get it right so for whatever you know if you think about it there's more things bad that can happen on the right side especially here in Arizona their street signs are right on the edge of the curb and so you get too close to that curb you could you know scratch your paint job on this beautiful coach you don't want to do that and you know they also have planted their trees very close to the edge of the like between the median and the road or the sidewalk on the road so again you don't want to scratch your paint job that this can be very expensive trees so I am really like totally hugging the left and even riding on that yellow line just a little bit one of the cool features they've given us in the 2020 ones is the 360 camera on this digital dash you're going to absolutely it up so I can throw my 360 camera right on the dash screen in front of me and I simply push that little joystick forward I can go to my gauges my navigation system or to my 360 camera and that's what I like to do so again I'm hugging hugging hugging the inside of this road because we've got trees on both sides of us lots of cars but you can see that camera cars going right by me this is a beautiful day to be out all right so you've got cruise control on the Reata XL so all you have to do is get up to speed turn it on and then hit set and then literally just enjoy the ride because now you're just keeping yourself in your lane you don't really have to look it you know I mean it just makes it more enjoyable and man this is a great way to see the country I just love it alright so I've got my exhaust brake on as I'm getting nearer to this red light I'm going to go ahead and take my foot off of the accelerator and you'll see that without my foot being on the brake or the accelerator I'm I was at 45 now I'm at 30 28 26 it's gonna slow me right down to the point where I've got to speed up so the curves behind me go get upset so whenever I go out on a test drive I have with customers I like to do the decibel reader because these coaches are so quiet so easy to talk you can have a regular conversation you don't have to raise your voice so I just did it we're at sixty five point five so that's just normal conversation level as quiet as a car so really to experience really excel you've got to come and test drive it for yourself I mean when you're spending this much money and I'm betting you want and you know how much money this is going to cost you well you have to wait till the end of the video see I'm gonna keep you keep you
