Chevy dude doesn't have one because she just leaves it in her purse so we'll take a look at the key file but the top left we have lock that we have unlock and we have a remote start we have the front trunk and we have the rear trunk now on the old GM vehicles to remote start the car you had to hit lock and then hold this button for three seconds that's not the case anymore now you can just simply hit this button two times and it starts up by the way this is soul performance sport cats on this Park this is definitely a feature you need to upgrade on your car for sure because it makes it sound like that the call will run for ten minutes you can do this interval two separate times if you open up the rear hatch as I'm going to do right here this vehicle will shut off for safety reasons we're gonna get to that stuff a little bit later in the video and then so yes so if you want to open up the rear hatch hit that two times front hatch hit that one time if you don't want to lock the car you can lock the car you want to unlock the car once unlocks the driver door second one on drop the second one unlocks all of the doors also in every key fob is a hidden key I think anybody owned a Corvette in the past knows this but it's very difficult to find so when you look at the key fob you have this little button right here you push that in and out comes a key now there's two places this key works so you would use this in the event of a power loss say you've parked your car over the winter the battery's dead where the case may be everything is electronic so the very first one and this is the one you're really going to use 99.9 percent of time you're going to take this and way up there it's very very difficult to see there is a key cylinder so you put that up there and you just turn it and it'll pop this door so you see it's not working right now because my key fob is nowhere close so when we put this up there goes right through there tough to see see it right there way up there we flip this the alarms gonna go off missus Chevy do is gonna hit the key fob or shot it stop it and this now I can open up this car door so once that's open the reason you're gonna open those doors because you're gonna want to access the front trunk we're gonna get that to here in a second and down here way back here there is a little pull ring this pull ring right here you pull that two times and that opens the front trunk and that gives you access to up here now your battery is located right here so what you're gonna do is you're gonna pull this one off and there's three little clips on here you can see these clips right here they just pull off you just want to be really careful this one comes over here as well and then this one these will all pull straight up so you would think that there's a groove in there there's not these polls straight up like so there's four clips in here all the corners basically and then you pull out and right here is your battery to jumpstart the car it's the only place that the batteries got access to and that's exactly how you access it the reason I'm hitting this up front is because some general maintenance items are up here as well you have your brake fluid you have your windshield wiper fluid and then this is your cabin air filter so it's very very simple to change your cabin air filter on the 2020 Corvette it's just right there the GM part number is right there as well so this is something that you can do at home and not pay labor to do it again very very simple to do nothing else is up here we got brake fluid over here as well I think that's for the the front lift system is what this is for so when you have that there that means you know you have front lift system that's your traditional brake because I just pointed out and everything else is up here is really not anything the normal consumer who's gonna mess with so also up here since I've got this open you do have your 12-volt power outlet right up here this is gonna be for your battery protection package to plug in over the wintertime or long storage times if somebody gets locked in here they're gonna hit that and that's gonna let them get out and then also with two and 3lt cars you're gonna get this nice pouch right here to put in here this is exactly how it gets put in it's super nice I typically keep all my towels in here I've got them in getting washed but like I got my quick detail spray in there I got a couple quick Detailers in here as well so it's really really nice to have on it when you're doing your battery protection package put this down you can see this is free one click that's it so once that clicks down just like that this shuts the battery off and shuts everything off so GM did a really really good job to allow access for that cord to come out here so that way you can plug it into your power outlet inside the garage during storage alright the second key entry on this is back here so you put your key in right back here and you're gonna have to remove your license plate in order to access this and then you just turn it and it'll pop open so that way you can gain access back here I think the biggest reason that you're gonna want to gain access back here is like if you got your jumper cables back here or something storing back here so that way if you're traveling somewhere and you have a battery or power loss that you can access this back here to get your tools or your devices alright so let's talk about how to open the front and rear trunks when you have power so what you gotta have your key fob with you doesn't matter if the car is locked or unlock and you can tell my car's locked because I had those settings set up so the mirrors fold and time it locks we're gonna go into that later in the video but on the front trunk it's basically right here in the middle we push this button and there's three clicks and then you can open that up and it's really really important when you close this to just gently close it like I just did and then in the back here so the key to this is I don't have my Corvette logo on here under the tee of the Corvette there's a button right here push that that opens this up and you gain access to back there the third way to do this you've got the key fob we got the buttons and then and the third way is the buttons right down here in the doorsill right there so we got the front in the front in the back in the back of it stick in with the outside where the gas cap here the gas door as you will as you can see that is locked it's not opening up so once I unlock the car you can kind of hear that still annoyed and now it's going to unlock if you using that normal gas pump not a problem there's two little flappers in here this isn't anything new with General Motors we've been using it for a few years now premium fuel is required in this car 93 octane if you're east of the Mississippi if you're west of Mississippi the best you're going to get is 91 you can put some octane booster in there to get up to 93 highly recommended but if you run out of gas there is a little funnel that you can put in there to activate both flappers on the car and that's absolutely necessary or you're going to dump all the fuel on the ground and on the car once you're done fueling push it back in every time the car locks that locks up and you're good to go next thing I'm gonna show you is the top taking off storage and replacement and there's a very very very I can't say very enough important step when you put this top back on this can cost you thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars if you don't do it correctly so we'll hop in here and it's really simple it's just like the last three versions the c6 the c7 the c8 we hit this one we hit this one and then there's one back here I like to push up on a little bit then push this right there to bring that and then what I always do is I just pop that a little bit and you can kind of move that over onto the metal and flip it right there so that way it gives you a little bit of a yeah to put your hand in here and take this off the factory top weighs about fourteen pounds if you do the carbon fiber top it's 12 pounds this is the carbon fiber top so you just bring this off and what I forgot to do was open this up you open that up and then this top sits in here just like it sets on top of the car you push this in here and you push it in until it clicks like that and this thing ain't going to move so come over here and I'm going to show you that when you come to the inside the trunk here you're gonna see that there's some plastic here and here and that's where the bottom of the top goes and then the top right here is where that go so we're do this one more time put it right in there so to remove the top there's gonna be a lot of pressure here so you have to give it some oomph okay so if you're just doing this your bike gets stuck it's stuck I don't want to damage the top you're not gonna damage the top just pull on it and it comes right out we put it right pull her out just like this is not bringing it up like this we get it into the two holes down there and again just like I put it on I mean when I take it off that we're gonna leave this gap right here and then we come in here and we do the exact reverse of the top operation and I can even do this one-handed put this in here put this in here and then lock that one up and you're good to go now it is extremely important this is what's so important this top is extremely expensive yes a transparent top is only 995 option well if you don't do a 95 option you buy it straight from the factory or from the dealer it's over $2,000 this carbon fiber top on the c7 was close to $7,000 and these tops do not come in one piece they come in part so you have to buy individual parks on it if you do not latch this at about 30 miles an hour you become part of the exclusive club and that would be the flying roof Club it is not a fun club to be in so make sure as soon as you put the top on the vehicle from the trunk that you immediately lock it down this is the analogy I give all my customers I don't care if there's a bomb threat your house is on fire your parent is dying in your front yard put this on I watch an extreme but you get my point all right back here in the back before we move to the inside of car this is your coolant reservoir this is your oil and your dipstick and then there's really nothing else in here to do when you change your oil I've got videos on that before I can't do a video on that today but at 7:00 half quarts of Mobil 1 0w 40 and then the way to test to make sure that you're filled correctly is to let the car get up to operating temperature about 140 degrees and test the out with the dipstick if you got magnetic ride control you can tell that you have magnetic ride control with these guys right here this is the engine appearance package that comes with those lights back there and I don't believe still at the time of this filming there's no way to turn those lights on outside of having this deck lid open outside that I don't think there's much more in here we do have emergency release right there in the event that somebody is locked in here we have a power outlet and then we do have a cargo net as well that goes back here and you can see that it's got there there there there and then also some clips over here as well as down here also so that's pretty much it from the outside so we're gonna move to the inside I'm going to show you how everything works electronically all right starting at the door I showed you the front and rear trunk release right there we have the power release for the door to open it up we got the lock button the unlock button if you have a 2 and 3 LT car you're gonna have the memory seats we're gonna show you how to set those here in a second you have your windows you have your power folding mirrors you hit that button those come in just like that and then you have your power mirrors out here so when the car is on the yellow amber light will turn on for the mirror for which barrier controlling and just like any other car if you have your convertible top if you have a convertible is what I meant to say you'll have your convertible buttons here as well as the window right there to have that go up and down that's where those are located I got a video on convertible top operation if you search for that as well very very important information to know as well because the gentleman did die several years ago in Florida and the event of a power loss than the in your on the inside of the vehicle one you can take this top off to get out but secondly the most easiest way to do it is simply just pull this up and that releases this door there's one on the passenger side as well this is a gt2 seat so we have all the functionality for the up down there we have up down here all the typical moving of the seats and then lumbar and wing adjustments for right here and back here as well over here by your left knee is your parking brake this is your dimmer of the lights we're gonna show that here in a second we have heads-up display and we have the power tilt telescoping steering wheel right here as well vent controls we have the headlight controls they're automatic lights so you really never have to mess with them but if you do need to mess with them you can turn this right here and get them on and off as well and we'll show the rest of the stuff here in a second we'll start off by starting the car and then we'll go over everything up here so you have your cruise control here this turns the cruise on and off and you can tell by that moving right there under the zero that the cruise control is on and off that is on that is off when you're driving you push it down for set you push it up for resume this will also do for coasts or moving up and when you set it it'll tell you on the display up there that your cruise is set for whatever miles per hour that you have this is a cancel button so what I like to explain that is is if you're coming up to somebody pretty fast and you're in heavy traffic you can simply just hit this button here and not hit the brakes and it's gonna start slowing you down fairly fairly quickly and easily z mode button we're gonna go over that here in a second when we go over the mode selectors on the right hand side of the steering wheel we have if you have a 2 LT or 3 LT car heated steering wheel voice recognition and then all of your driver information center here which we're going to go over in a few minutes as well over here we have the heads-up display the very first button is moving the heads-up display up and down the info button changes the way the heads-up display works and then you have the light and bright functionality there as well to make that brighter or lighter kind of show you what I'm showing here you can kind of see the heads-up display right there on the windshield and if we let that focus in a little bit maybe that's better right there you can see I want to move that up and down that's the first button the second button is the info button I'm gonna hit the info button one time and you'll see that that comes up with more like a sport mode so it gives you the lateral G's which gear you're in the RPMs and the zero mile-per-hour there on the right if you hit it one more time we're gonna go to the track mode so you have your shift points at the top tells you which gear you're in and the miles per hour at the bottom very basic but very needed on the shift points and then we hit it one more time this is kind of like a touring mode we have the zero miles per hour up top we have the park at the bottom and that box with the dashes on the left is your speed that you have on your road that you're traveling on so that comes with the navigation too and 3lt and I believe that's on the navigation with the 1lt as well if you do that option those are all of your driver modes or your heads-up display modes there there's also one other function on the heads-up display so we're gonna use our Driver Information Center we're gonna come over to the third tick and you can see I've already rotated down to heads-up display if I click that you can see my heads-up display was kind of cocked to the left I am moving this right here and that is going to move my heads-up display either way trying to show you what I'm talking about you can see the heads-up display I'm gonna move it ever so slightly here and you can see that heads-up display move in right and left kind of tilts and pans not moving the camera simply just moving the heads-up display rotation once you have that into a function that you like or an area that you like you simply click that button and it locks it in also down on the steering wheel it's kind of tough to see we got volume control up and down right here and then over here is your favorite buttons this is going to go through your favorites and your seek on the radio and stuff like that we're going to show that to you here in a second when you're two and three all vehicles you're gonna have the garage door opener there I do have a video on how to program this even though it's a very old video nothing on this technology has changed and it works exactly like it is I'll link that in the description below and make it an information card at the top right-hand corner of this video very simple over here we have our OnStar buttons we have our hazard buttons a totally new place on the ca and then this one if you have a two and three LT is your motion sensor alarm part so basically what that does is shuts this off so you can see it tells you right there that the motion sensors off you heard the beep and what that does is if you have somebody hop in the car or if the car gets jacked up or puts on a tow truck or anything like that the alarm would go off once the cars lock so this would stop that so like if you're at a car show with those windows down then people throw in flyers that would set the alarm off if they do that so you can hit that and it wouldn't do it if you get out of the car even though there's a key in here and you have a passenger in here that would also set the alarm off so you can hit that because when the car locks it won't do it Digital rearview mirror this is a two and a three LT option as well only available on the two and three LT I love this mirror the blind spots in this car are pretty tricky we're gonna do a video on that as well but this is this makes it so you don't have any blind spots at all so if anybody out there complains about blind spots and they have a 2 and a 3 LT car there's only 1 in 8 almost 8,000 miles in this car that that I have found and it's a rare occasion so what we're going to talk about the mirror to turn this mirror on digital or traditional I guess we can call it just flip that switch you can see that comes off you can see my camera there we flip that back and we have the traditional and the digital rear view mirror there's a few features on the rear mirror there's three buttons down here we're gonna hit this first button and you're going to see something pop up right here I'm gonna hit the second one and you'll see another one pop up right here and there's a third one that pops up right there as well let's go back to the first one this is to make it brighter or lighter simply hit this button and you'll see that the it'll start dimming the bars illuminate and D illuminate if you want to call it that and this was this is there so you hit the checkmark and it saves it in place the next one is plus and minus so we hit this we can zoom in zoom out with the plus and minus on there once it's into position we hit the check mark the third one is panning the mirror up and down so I can literally have that all the way up and barely barely barely get that rear high wing spoiler I can also bring it down which we gotta come back in here and do this I can bring this down and I can see almost all of the spoiler which this isn't really a really good view I have mine set up to about right there it's a check mark and you're good to go the nice thing with the digital rear view mirror is you can put it pretty much put this anywhere and see it I know the camera is gonna make that have a little bit of shade but even right there I can literally see my back window with no issue because of that digital rearview mirror so what I like to do is I like to put this all the way up because that gives me the most visible on the mirror the a-pillars are fairly big in this because we got air no there's no airbags up here but we have you know just the a-pillars up there these are safe cars in the event of a rollover they're gonna take the whole weight of the car and stuff like that but yeah perfectly fine on blind spots there's not many there's I talked about earlier but I like to put this up there to give me the most visibility let's talk about this guy right here the driver modes we have six driver modes in this car that would be two more than what we had in the c7 you simply just rotate this dial and it changes everything on the car it changes steering it changes engine noise it changes powertrain it changes everything that you can and we're going to show you exactly what it changes here in a second so when we flip this either way up on the screen up here it puts it in to that mode so down here at the six o'clock position it tells you which mode you're in but you can pretty much tell once you start getting used to the car what mode you're in by the way the screen looks we're in weather mode right now this is the safest mode the next one is going to be my load which when I come over here and I'm going to show you the my mode here in a second the my mode is just a little human down here the next one is touring mode this is the softest suspension mode that you have also the loosest steering unless you have and that is a single five by using the little road right there the next one this is the one I typically drive in most is the sport mode you can kind of see where we go right there with what that looks like and the last one is track mode track mode is only to be used on track it's not to be used on the streets but that's what the track mode looks like there as well the sixth mode is the Z mode this is the one that a lot of people talked about you simply just hit that button and it sets up Z mode and it brings up this screen right here along with ziba now I've had that in the options from showing you guys earlier in the video of the heads-up display typically speaking I like to leave it on the trip mode but the really cool thing is is that our current drive cycle as well so you can kind of see how much distance you had the fuel economy in time that you've been driving us since the car has started so let's talk about the Z mode and the my mode so basically what we want to do is go into our settings we want to go to vehicle and right there at the top we have Z mode and my mode so we're gonna go to my mode first this is the one that I typically will have the car in sport or my mode and then these are all of the options that you have we have engine sound when we click on engines down we have track we have sport we have touring and we have stealth so stealth you're not gonna be able to hear it quiets the engine down it actually adjusted the sound of the engine to best match intended driving conditions or style while there my mode touring does the same thing sport a little bit louder and track gives it the loudest suspension lattice engine sound they're steering there's three different types of steering tough to see here but we have touring this makes it really really really loose sport tightens head up a little bit and then track is a tie to sticking it right there I personally like to drive in track mode on the steering because I really like tight steering that's just my personal preference but that's what's nice about it is if you like to have a tight suspension and loose steering you can do that in the my mode and the Z mode suspension I have that entering I Drive a lot so I like to have the softest suspension I drive on elevated roadway so there's a lot of expansion joints so since I'm going over all of these expansion joints for 26 miles is kind of annoying this gives me the smoothest ride sport it's it it adjusts the dampening and the spring rates for the driving and track mode gives it the toughest and tightest suspension you're gonna feel everything there the last one is your brake response I personally have it on sport mode it's kind of an in-between of the touring in the track so that way of some but then happen something happens on the road that I don't have to have too little brake pressure and too much pressure with track you gotta remember this is a brake by wire system this if you've never driven a brake by wire system it does not take much brake here one of the biggest things I learned at the driver school which I I tell you you've got to go to the driver school it's a thousand dollars it's very very cheap to do and you learn a lot about this car that brake response is a big help so that's the mind bug we go the Z mode and we pretty much have the same thing you can see my Z motive set up from way back when when I was going to Kansas City I don't really use Z mode that much so I've got the Z mode set up with weather powertrain we're gonna get into that a second so there's the same thing really for engine engine sound steering suspension and the Z mode so this is what's different from my mode and Z mode is the touring the sport the track and the weather so if you want the powertrain to be tracked there you go that's again not recommended let's say you're on a track and you're just gonna be on there for a little bit hit that you're good to go weather mode gives it the safest conditions on it and this suggests the throttle for the pedal the throttle response engine and gear shifting for every single mode so touring is gonna give you the softest and all that good stuff sports and you have a little bit more sport tuned throught throttles and sport-tuned shifts and stuff like that and the track is going to do even heavier so I did it in weather because I was driving through rain that day so anytime that you want to change any of these modes you simply just do this right here and rotate it either way right or left and you're gonna go to your desired mode that you want the car in so one of the big things is between the c7 and c8 is if I was in this position the track mode and I rotated right it would automatically go weather mode so kind of show you rotate right it does not change you do have to go all the way back and each time do that to get back to the mode that you want you can't just go right and left and just keep going around in circle like you did in the c7 a little different the c8 have it weather mode right now but say hey I want it z mode just simply hit that button the Z illuminates then we have the Z mode on the dash that's all your driving modes in the CA pretty traditional on the windshield wipers and headlights I kind of showed you the headlights earlier windshield wipers pretty traditional GM stuff up one time for intermediate two times for low third click would be high all the way down off if I push this one time down it does the windshield wipers one time pull it to get the mist on the window and that's all you have to do on the right side on the left side is your high beams your turn singles and your headlights I mentioned this earlier so say you're going to like a drive-in movie theater and you need these lights off it's the only way I can ever think about it maybe you're in a carpool lane at somebody's house or something simply rotate this down and it's gonna shut your lights off at nighttime one click up does your daytime lights and then all the way up gives you your full nighttime lights and this little green icon up here is going to indicate that your lights are on now say you have done this and as next time you shut your car off and it turns back on it automatically resets to the auto position so there's no possible way to get into this car and have your lights off which is a nice safety feature flash high beams were to turn these on so I can show you push it forward it turns your high beams on there's your blue light right there I always like to pull it back and it kicks it off and I always like to use the analogy if you're like pissed off or mad at somebody on the interstate this is your flash to past though that's when you're like get out of my way or why'd you do that or whatever the case may be and then you like lay on the horn and maybe some people use you know fingers or say explicit languages I might do that not the fingers but maybe some you know custon inside the car or whatever but yes doing that turn singles is very very simple a half push down is you're indicating two lane merge so you can see that blinks three times and shuts itself off make it click and that'll stay on until you turn the wheel and when you turn it back it comes up same way with to the right I think some people would say this is a very on underutilized device on the car using your turn single so it's nice that that just I kind of half push into you she'll feel some pressure to indicate that you're changing lanes on the interstate I showed you these buttons earlier the bottom one is the parking brake to engage it you just push it it's still engaged from when I push the error to get it off engage your brake push that and it comes off it'll also when I engage it again so you can see that it is on put my foot on the brake put it in Drive and you can see I'm in Drive you can see I have the parking brake on I don't have my feet on it's not moving but as soon as I give it a little bit of gas it goes off and I can start moving and it tells me that the parking brake is release so just so you know that little cool hack if you forget to shut the parking brake off or utilize it yeah just just start driving you'll be fine it happens in most General Motors vehicles right here it's kind of tough to see during the daytime but this is your bright and light dimmer right here for all the little lights up there I just tested it's not gonna work so yeah brighter lighter right there that doesn't do any other functions for you all right so let's talk about all of our Driver Information Center that is up here there's a lot going on up here it can be very confusing there can be a lot that you do and you maybe make a mistake and what I tell a lot of customers is there's nothing you can do to this car that's gonna eject you out of it it's gonna blow it up it's gonna just kill the car there's nothing there's not a button you can push in this car to harm anything so with that being said we're gonna be utilizing all these buttons here this moves it to the right this moves it to the left this when you roll this up rotates it up and down rotates it down when you go down and then pushing it in is kind of like a left mouse click it sets it and whatnot so we're gonna come right up here and we are currently on my mode and we're gonna be over here focusing on this so you can see the little bars right here there's blank ones there so if I push right we get the performance mode we're gonna stay in the trip computer now we remove all the way to the top here so we have trip one we have trip 2 we have fuel economy the last 50 miles and we have trip timer right now and then we also have current drive cycle that I showed you earlier we're gonna go back up to trip 1 I'm gonna push on the right arrow on the steering wheel and let's take that back I'm gonna push the button right here and then push the right arrow so push that button it brings up an extra mode if I hit this button right here so I said that wrong anyways c7 c7 is in my head so in the trip meter I'm gonna push this button and it brings up that right there if I push this again it resets it I don't want to reset mine so we're not gonna do that roll down the number to the same thing if I push this you're gonna see the reset come up here I push this again and that resets trip too so this one here the last fuel economy I'm gonna push that button N and I can reset the score I can change that distance to 25 50 or 450 and to kind of show you the distance right now we have it on last 50 so if I push that in and say I want to go on 450 I'm gonna hit the arrow back to bring that and my last 450 miles I've gotten seventeen point two miles per gallon on average with a twenty seven point seven miles per gallon we're gonna push this again we're gonna go back up to the last 25 arrow back left and you can see my last 25 is 13.5 miles per gallon with my best @ 31.7 I don't drive the car very efficiently which is what I prefer so we're going to come back down and we're gonna go to the trip timer I'm gonna push over oops I keep pushing arrow right I mean to push the button we push this button here and this comes into the secondary mode so we can start timer we can reset timer we can reset fuel used and we can reset bolt so hit start timer and it immediately comes back to the screen for you to set the trip timer push this button over I can say I want to reset the fuel now my fill uses back to Z I hit that button again and you can see that the timer continues to go when I'm doing it so now I can tell the stop timer and I've let that roll for 20 seconds come push the button again again I'm pushing this button right here I can come down say hey I wanna reset both and we're back to zero on both of those we're gonna rotate down one more time on that to come to current drive cycle you can see I've been in the car for 23 minutes of it running and it just shows us that we haven't driven any distance and we don't have any feel kana me gauged at all so we rotate down one more time it goes right back up to the top now we're gonna hit this button over to the right and we come to the performance menu so the performance menu we have the performance timer timer this is what I use to verify that I got two point seven zero to sixty we push the button in it brings up the secondary menu if I want to come in here I can rotate this button right here or rotate it up and down plus four up - four down and I can say hey listen I want to know what my thirty-two wrong I'm wrong I'm wrong I'm rolling so 130 is or I can keep going I want to see what my 30 to 200 is I push that in there and we go we push the back arrow button here and now once the car gets to 30 miles per hour and we're on the performance menu you have to be on the performance menu for this to work once you're here once you hit 30 miles an hour the time starts once you hit 200 miles an hour the time stops I want to reset this just hit that in speed we're going to roll this all the way back down to 60 but one of the big things to is like what a lot of street racers do from what I hear they'll do they'll do 60 to 130 pulls so they'll set this so if you're doing that street racing scene you can do 60 to 130 and do a 60 roll and have that set up too so we roll down and we're gonna configure PDR start timer so this would be a lap timer when you're using the performance data recorder we're gonna get in there that just shows you when you're out on a track what your time was without looking anywhere so this is a allow you to see every time you cross that start/finish line what your timer was and it also gives you your plus or minus indicator roll down one more time this is your G meter kind of like a pendulum kind of like a one of those door things you laying on the door to make sure there's I can't ruin the name of a plumb bob that's what it is it's like a plumb bob so progressive where I move I can't move I'm trying to move the car a little bit see if it moves it but that gravity needle is gonna go where the gravity of the car is going we roll to rotate down one more time we go back up to the performers timer now if we go to sport mode you can see that it's all the same it does not change regardless of which ones we are in so we're moving over to the right and we're gonna go to audio that's the third tick and I'm gonna push the audio button right over here so we can go to XM radio and we'll turn it down so we don't get a strike for copyright but it tells you where I'm at so if I push likes I want my iPhone to connect or another Bluetooth device or we have something plugged into the USB ports down here or the aux input it would pop up here as an available source and we can go through there as well so we're gonna go over one more time to the right this is maintenance engine oil and transmission fluid I just have the engine oil changed in the car so I'm at 99% my transmission fluid is at 84% there's no end down bro tape down one it gives you revolutions times 10,000 so you take that 1469 times 10,000 that's how many revolutions that the engine has done that means nothing of anything it just tells you how many revolutions the engine has turned hours how many hours I've been driven in this car it's amazing that I've got 168 hours behind the wheel of this car and then idle hours almost 40 hours of idle I don't know how it's possible cuz I don't think I've set in this car and just let it idle but I guess I have from time to time when it was raining at the drag strip and stuff like that so from time to time so we're gonna move over one more for options we're gonna rotate all the way to the top here so that we can get in here so the display design that's the top one that's highlighted this is really really interesting so we can link this to the driver mode we can rotate down to touring we can sport track weather so say you like the sport mode so now I'm in sport mode right here I'm gonna switch it to track mode but this is gonna walk this the same way it was was in the c7 so now that display does not change one bit I have it made so it's in linked to driver mode so that way I know visually which mode I'm in typically again I'm in sport mode or I'm in my mode so it's gonna be always in these I'm not a big touring fan because the exhaust is quiet at that point I'm not a big fan of the way that looks so when we go to my mode as you can see here it goes back to that sport mode and it also gives you the wines in here too for ship gives you the shift points as well when you start revving it up it doesn't do it last thought it did it when it was sitting here but you have to be in gear move down one to the infotile selection that's these over here so we can deselect all the tiles and now we taken both of those off and say that I want battery voltage there nope don't want that there I want the limited sent sit there I can't talk limited slip differential percentage that I'm losing there I want instant fuel economy there I want lateral g-forces their oil pressure oil temp tire status transmission fluid and I can come right back to the top so I remember where I had it it doesn't really matter I don't pay much attention to it probably something like that if I was remembering right you guys can tell me in the comment section if I had it exactly right but that's what that does there as well so if you want your instant fuel economy you can change this right here you push it and you can say hey I'm only going to change the top one so let me go back there I want to show you this one more time so tiles select right so I'm on tire status right now so if I click tire status I'm gonna change the bottom one so whatever the bottom one is on or whatever you're on it's gonna change that so if I want transmission fluid I'm on transmission fluid so now I'm on something other than transmission fluid it knows that I want to change the top one okay so again I'm gonna put lateral g-forces there and since I have transmission fluid down here at the bottom I'm gonna come to transmission fluid on the right click that and then I'm clicking this right here I'm gonna click that and come back to what did I have it there did I say tire tire status yeah we'll go to tire status so now I have that there so again if I you can see when I rotate up and down it automatically goes to my lateral g-forces in my tire status and as soon as I click on that it allows me to now start selecting all of those and changing that as it goes as well so we're hit the back button here so we go back into our options speed warning I don't know why anybody would have ever had this it enables it and disables it so if I push this button right here it's gonna enable it so every time I get 256 miles per hour it'll chime and I believe something comes up here and says speed warning or over speed or something like that if I click it I can rotate this that's all doing this click it rotate this up and down and then I push this to confirm we're gonna come back up here and disable that we're gonna click back and then down to unit so if you go into Mexico or which I go to Mexico a lot if we go to Canada we can change this down to metric and now we have kilometers per hour or we have kilometers to empty and then when everything is going to be like in Celsius and you can see now that I have 11750 kilometers on this car and my tire temps are Celsius and so is my outside temperature on the radio 27 degrees out click that back into us click the button right there and that saves your setting tire pressure so we come in here this is just to relearn status for what if you wrote if you got new tires on it I showed you two heads up display rotation earlier and then this is the remote key learned so if you get a third key you can come in here and it'll learn your third remote I think you can put a total of six keys on this car if I remember I can't remember but usually two or three is gonna be the match that most people do software licenses just just disclosures and lawyer stuff what's interesting on the software licenses though so if you notice this I just go into French hold on what do I do yeah I don't know why I don't know why it's in French now I don't remember changing the languages open-source license there we go 2011 there 2012 there so this the stuff is 14 is the newest one so before the c7 was out the software licenses was developed pretty interesting when I saw that reset to default so this just resets everything back to factory settings and then the last one we're gonna click over one time on the arrows and this simplifies so if I if I push this in now it simplifies everything takes everything off over here and just says hey listen if you want that to be there you know just click the button again but then it disappears and you only have this it's kind of a cool thing to do I don't use it I put it on Instagram and everybody was like now you want it that way so if I want that back just simply hit the button and it all comes back so that is everything on the driver information center that you're gonna use with these buttons right here we're going over the transmission here so the transmission always put your foot on the brake and put it reverse very simple Drive manual so you can never come from park to manual mode you always have to go to drive first and then to manual if you go to dry you can go back to Drive you can go to neutral and then you can go to reverse and then you can park as well but yes so if you're in park you can go to neutral but you're just you're holding it in pulling it in like that so you hold that in for two or three seconds that allows you to go to neutral but outside that you have to go to drive and then manual or reverse or drive over here is your traction control button so one thing I didn't show you on the driver select mode is when you're in track mode you have you push this one time like so it tells you your traction troll's off you wait a second you push it a second time and then everything comes off and then I can have different traction modes this is just for magnetic ride control so when you have magnetic ride control I can push the mode selector over and I'm going to get performance traction dry performers traction sport 1 sport 2 and then race mode as well so everything is a little bit different and I'm going to show you exactly what those mean here on my white board in the house alright so this graph is not to scale but it goes over wet dry sport one sport 2 in race track mode this being a hundred percent up here so oh the red is traction control the green is active handling so weather mode 100% 100% you have won represent of traction control whatever set of active handling because you're gonna use this possibly when it's raining outside if you're on the track dry mode you have about 80 to 90 percent tracks control about 90 95 percent active handling when you go to sport one clear about 50 percent of traction control in about sixty percent active healing when you go to sport to you got about forty percent or so of traction control no active handling where you get to this blue X here in a second track mode race mode excuse me we have about 10 percent of trash control no active handling in here like what's this blue mark so this all of this right here is if you have magnetic ride control you're only gonna have these options when you have magnetic ride control you're not gonna have these options if you do not have magnetic ride control so if you're gonna take your non magnetic ride control car on a track you do have an option to put that kind of like in track mode right you're gonna be about right here so you're gonna be just shy of sport 2 and north of race so maybe somewhere in that 30% 20% of tracks control with no active handling so just so you know where what all of these means that I've showed you those we're still in all the performance modes so if you want to come back out of that by rotating this you're just gonna come back between performance one sport trac all that stuff right so simply just hit that button and that turns everything back on and then you can start rotating through back through your driver modes as well so the other buttons up here are our front suspension if you have the front lifts by pushing this I have it currently in the up position so it's going to lower and you can see that blinking blinking blinking and now that's lower so when the mode is not up here or when the icon is not up here it will that means your suspension is low on the lower pasetta when I push that button it'll tell you that the vehicle is rising and then icon will flash and then that is showing that you're up now this is what's gonna happen sometimes you're gonna have your door open you're gonna hit the lift button and area at the lift system on available that happens simply close your door and it'll lower for you but that's what it is that's what's happening is that's your doors open so your doors have to be shut your hoods and your trunk have to be shut as well so we're gonna raise this back up I'm gonna shut the car off and you'll get a message here the vehicle will lower make sure it's clear so when you shut the car off the vehicle does lower for you so if you go into the garage or anything like that it automatically lowers it does not stay up so we're gonna start the car and you see the vehicle automatically starts rising back to the position from where you shut it off once you hit that desired speed or that speed that automatically lowers it it does that for you automatically you don't have to hit the button if you have a 2 or 3 LT car you have one additional button available up here to you and that would be the forward facing and rear facing camera system so we hit that but there and then we're gonna have four different displays available to us we're gonna have the back display you can kind of see that distance right there well this one right here is like super wide angle so you can kind of see the difference there so this is probably more that you're gonna use in the backing into a spot or whatnot and that one just gives you another wide angle so that way you can see more of what's behind you to make it safer so you can see my neighbor's truck that's just right on the edge of the tip of his truck I hit this one here and I can see almost his whole house his whole house that section is approximately 15 feet so it allows you to see 15 feet approximately more of what it is to kind of show you I just I'll just show you so it's going right in the front of those trash cans there so that's how much difference it is setting with that camera angle pretty impressive if you asked me the third setting that's available to you would be this one here this is the straight down version of the car so you can see the front nose of the car the grey lines are the tires the yellow lines are the outsides of the mirrors I'm gonna show you here how these work here in a second and then the fourth one here that's available to us is kind of like a split screen straight down up here and then the cameras right there so you can kind of see my dog right there so the dog is right there and that gives you that there v button over here is actually shutting the lines off I don't know why anybody would want to do that but you can on this view here is that right nope I guess not so yeah we don't have the lines one on the lines backing up do we yeah we do I knew we had line I'm like wait a second I backed his car up for 8,000 miles I should know that there's lines so yes so that shuts him off shuts them on and you have to be in Reverse in order for that to work so now let me show you how to park in the garage using these cameras all right so I'm going to show you this so way back in the days you guys know I have a c7 with forward-facing cameras I set up these marks on the ground for the camera system so this is the only one don't use on the c7 or the CA excuse me but this line here and this line here are dead-on with how to use the camera systems I didn't have to change those from the c7 to the c8 by the way big shout - quick quick Jack I love my quick Jack's they're a huge supporter of the channel and if you wanted to do home maintenance on your vehicle change oil this is the system to get alright I have repositioned the car to park in the garage and you're gonna see coming up here in a second you can see the front corner of my garage I'm right there and you can see the black mark I'm gonna rotate my wheel left here so you can see that black mark so I line on the C set on the c8 i line my mir line the yellow line up right on that black mark and I'm going to show you why so we move in can I show you there and then what I always do is I make sure kind of show you I got a little cord there I'm not gonna hit that cord because we know that for a fact because of the tire mark right there on it as well so if I just move that just a little bit like that I'll be fine and to kind of show you there's the second black line right up here I'm getting I'm coming into that so I'll position that right there and you can look at the mirror right there and let me get out and I'll show you that I set the parking brake so the car did not roll any way shape or form when I got out so you can see that get angle that's a bad angle that's looking into that right so when I'm looking straight ahead I'm not gonna hit even the little rubber part of my garage so let's hop in back in the car and I'll show you the rest all right so back in the same position I haven't moved the car without the camera being on so we're gonna move in and kind of show you that we're still pretty far away from that right there the yellow line is dead on and I just follow that straight in so I watched this one more then I watched these ones down here but that's good to know that hey I've got stuff over here but I think a lot of times when I come in I think I've just got this one up this is probably what I have on I reset the car prior to doing this video so that way it was everything was really really close to factory I possibly could get it so you can see it went right over my quick jacks with no problem and like I said that big black line is the only thing I don't use on the c8 because on the c7 we had those individual lines so I'm gonna show you I'm gonna get two right there put it in park hit the parking brake so it doesn't it roll on me and I'll show you what it looks like inside the garage so my garage is approximately like 24 feet this way 21 feet this way we can get a c7 and c8 in here with no problem and kind of show you the distance right up here I got all sorts of rims and car parts and more rims from em or our designers they got em RR wheels and the c7 but kind of show you the distance there of what we've got plenty of room if I needed to get through there if I just clean up my junk we'll be fine come into the back I like being in kind of far because we have the Tesla out there and the Tesla Court has to come out and get plugged in and we currently parked the Tesla right here in this spot but that's plenty of room and there so when the garage is closed I can literally walk through here and then coming over here you can see I told you I wouldn't hit that Tesla cord right there even though it looked like it was going to I've just learned over the time what it is but look at that black line compared to the mirror up there it's dead on absolutely dead on so when you get your c8 I would highly recommend that you come up to the edge of your garage and paint some lines on it or make some type of marking so that way you can come in and be like in the same position every single time so we're gonna back out and you'll see that my backup lines are right on that black line as well and as long as I keep my wheel straight we won't have any issues and I missed it but I get a little bit of backing up sensors and all that good stuff there as well no issues with the mirror out there and we just back out and we're good to go front lift does work in Reverse so every time I get into the car when I after I come home the front lift system automatically comes up inside the garage and I back out and don't have any issues alright for the next test I haven't done this before I'm doing it live to film and we're just gonna show you the backup sensors how close they truly are so you can see the yellow is just barely past the garage door so we're gonna back straight up really really slow here again we're break by a wire so it doesn't take much movement on the break to have the car lunge on you alright so keep that keep that in mind the sensors are gonna pop up right here alright there's the first one you can see all of the yellow ones are there and we come to the second line right there so now let's see how far we are away alright so the tape measure up the car has not moved while the camera was off and we are at about sixty nine inches nice the word 66 right here and then the tape measure itself is three inches so we're right about 69 inches from that crack there and kind of see I think that's pretty fair but 69 inches so let's see how much distance before the next lights come on so you can see we got a yellow mark there we still have that and you saw that the parking brake where's least because I'm putting it on you learn the back up just a little bit see you're gonna jump on yeah there you go so we got the second line we're gonna keep we're gonna count that as the second line all build up you can see that we are at the last yellow line on there so the same thing parking brake was said it was put in park and we're sitting right about 29 inches right there so we go to 69 that's 40 inches between the back of the bumper to the garage door so let's test out the next one maybe the red line all right let's try this out again all right we got the orange line and we're not completely to the red we're gonna go back a little further work to the red right there we have two orange bars up so let's go test that one out all right so that's where we're at it looks like we're right at 49 inches so that's 20 inches between the back of the bumper and their garage door so remember the sensors are here and here I don't know how they're calibrated that's why I'm doing this test but yeah 20 inches let's keep moving all right here we go and mrs. Chevy dude said don't hit the garage so we're gonna not hit the garage we got one red line or gonna keep going all right now it's telling us to stop it's all flashy you can see we're way past that red line right there let's check it out all right here we are and it looks like we are right about nine inches so that's where the red line now again this is to a garage door we have different things different sizes different areas on sides of the car you got to be careful a wooden Alice to go past that red line in there but yeah so we got about nine inches all the way to that last red line where it just starts beeping straight on the HVAC system we'll talk about this this is something obviously new and very exciting the way they've got this positioned in the car again with almost 8,000 miles on the vehicle not really confusing but there is some goofy things about this that obviously only a driver would know on this so currently it's off the power button is way down here so we'll hit that and turn that on so you got your driver split our driver temperature control up here passenger is way down at the bottom right there and then coming straight down we have heated seats high medium low on there so you can see that so and this is the goofy thing so it's outside right now and if I hit the AC seats there's actually ventilated seats you can't really tell that that's on the camera is actually picking that up a little bit with the naked eye it's not I have my top off a lot so with my top off I can't see that and I kind of have to do that and to get the blue lights coming on so again high with three lights medium with two lights low with one light and off sync button I was gonna be so like the passenger had their temperature way up to 84 and mine was 83 they get out I hit the sync button that's going to sync up those temperatures to be exactly the same Auto button pretty self-explanatory it's auto works like your home thermostat you never have to mess with it just mess with the temperatures and that's what's really nice about this so when I'm driving I can sit here and just feel feel this that I just hit this up and down if I'm too hot or too cold really don't have to mess with anything else front defogger then of events up here the floor the fan speed to power the AC the recirculate button max front window defogger and then the rear at one of the fire which too weird rear window defogger is above the engine why that would be needed I don't know because that thing gets so hot back there that nothing's gonna stay on there and then down here is the passenger heated and ventilated seats along with the heated or the temperature control for the passion down here so the goofy thing is even with 8,000 miles on the car I don't use these buttons a lot so it takes a second if I need to change something drastically to mess with it saying I didn't have Auto on for some reason like right now I'm messing with it and I didn't have Auto and I noticed that while I'm driving it does take me a second like where's the auto at so it just takes your eyes off the road up there to come down here so that's the only goofy thing that I've seen is just not knowing where the buttons are but the main buttons heated seats ventilated seats and the temperature controls are really really simple down here to mess with these is really difficult while driving as well because again you're kind of up here and you have to look way down there to get it I'm 6 foot 3 so I'm all the way to the back and that makes it a little difficult but again nothing too absolutely crazy cupholders huge improvement huge huge huge improvement over the c7 you can close it in there even with your iPhone in there I have an iPhone 11 max Pro so let even close as well it's in there so if you want to leave your phone in here it's locked in there you have the center console in here you have USB see USB a and three-and-a-half millimeter jack best closes when the car locks this locks along with the glovebox the glovebox to open that up is right there and so that locks up when the car locks as well iPhone and Android phones now have wireless charging wireless charging is way back here it's in a really goofy spot but we'll put that back there the way you know that it's charging is you come up to the screen on the phone and you're gonna see a icon right there usually the icon is green and my phone is not saying it's charging so let's try that again and see what happens don't know what that's doing there we go see it's green so I've never seen that before so there you go there's something new absolutely it went off so it might be with my phone my phone's all the way charged that's the issue I'm a hundred percent charged so if you see that yellow icon that means it's not charging you see the green icon it is charging I've never seen that before except for right now and we'll go with one more down here completely spaced on this on a video actually said wasn't in the car and that would be the 12-volt outlet way down here you see that right there it's right there so there is a traditional 12-volt outlet kind of like a cigarette lighter down there for like a radar detector stuff but it's way down here so it's very very difficult to get to you hear it clapping in there but that would be where your syrup power outlet is all right let's talk about pairing our cell phone to the car there's two different ways to do it the first way is gonna be via car play apple carplay or Android auto if you have an Android the only thing with the Android is you've got to have Android auto installing your phone most androids do have that available now but the older androids you had to download that as well so with Apple the only thing you have to do is plug it in and since my phone is reset it's going to come into the apple carplay this is going to turn green I'm going to push it to speed it up a little bit and because it's the first time it says unlock your phone to start apple carplay it's gonna tell you right there as well so we're gonna unlock it there we go it's unlocked and we have it up so you can see we have the dots down here and anything that is related to phone and driving is gonna pop up here audiobooks podcast Maps Navigation messages phone stuff like that Amazon music ways zoom yes zoom is in here because zoom is not only a video but it also is audio as well so differ a couple things that I have on my phone to demonstrate and show yes I got 65 text messages I get way too many text messages a day can't get through them all and I tried you at night but back here is a split screen so that I'm going to do the podcast today that's on my calendar music food drink so I'm looking for stumped in the map right there now the second way to do it is by doing Bluetooth so we're gonna come into our Bluetooth settings here and we're going to tell it that we want to pair a phone so you come into Bluetooth click that and then what you do up here is you hit the phone icon we connect the phone you can see there's no phones connected we're gonna hit add phone and on your Bluetooth device it'll come up here as my Chevrolet and so since I had my bluetooth open like this I did this intentionally because if it doesn't show up simply come out of your Bluetooth settings and then go right back in and it'll pop up there down there at the other devices for your iPhone with Android users you're gonna want to tell it to refresh and look for it as well so there you go my Chevrolet no cuts in this video just simply coming in there it's gonna come up and it's gonna say pair yes you're gonna confirm this number and this number the only reason that there's a number here is like if I was at the dealership and there's maybe two people pairing right so we want to confirm that hey yes this phone and this car are talk to each other we want to pair we want to pair and we're good to go and it's gonna pop up there they're gonna have it allow contacts in favorite sync you want to sell to allow and everything especially with Android three or four messages can pop up there as well now that's good to go if you want to make a phone call you simply push this button what would you like call Louisville time temp sorry I didn't understand so it didn't understand I don't have that in my contact I used to have it in my contact and I delete it because we don't need to use I don't use it anymore but that's all you have to do is do it so when you push this button you can do anything you can tune to a radio station you can do navigation or call someone in this case we're just talking about cell phone we're gonna talk about that other stuff really really soon now one of the things if you do have your bluetooth paired and you come plug in your phone what's gonna happen is you're gonna get messages that your Bluetooth is disconnected so that's normal that's not an issue and because you can only going to do bluetooth or apple carplay or require play if you have Android users what not so you can see that there's no phone connected right now because we're gonna go on a car play and it's all going through car play so very very normal there all right so the next thing we're gonna talk about is the audio system we're gonna go up here and click this I kind of shared this with you just a little bit earlier and you can see now we have Sirius XM AM FM and when we hit the more where I have two more features here we're gonna have Bluetooth and we're gonna have Mike's iPhone so now we have two more sources if we had another something plugged in or an aux we would have those two sources coming in here as well other Bluetooth devices would pop up there also so we want to play something on our Bluetooth we simply could go to bluetooth if we learned something to go onto Mike's iPhone week you're going to Mike's iPhone we can hit play I don't even know if I have any music on my iPhone so I stream all the time but let me show you here so we got some presets up here and I just touched that by accident so you can you can roll this way or roll this way let's go to an FM station so I got 87.7 we're gonna hold that and that is how you save a favorite and you can make these say anything or do anything hold and save so now say say this is got say this five 30s got a set certain a and we're going to settings and you're gonna go to apps and we're gonna go to exactly what we want to mess with we want to mess with the Audio there's all sorts of settings in here we're gonna go to manage favorites so we don't see that am station we're gonna come in here there it is 5:30 we can move this if we wish we can say hey we want to move this up one like so there we go or we can edit this so we want to say mykes fave am right it doesn't mean anything but now I can change that too so it says Mike's fave a.m. but here's the issue so it does show it all in there so sometimes you can get too long on there but now that shows that and you can see we had that here and now we move it there because I showed I did that FM before I did the a.m. so we'll go back into settings here I mean we're still in the same spot and say I don't want those simply hit the trash right I've trashed those we're good to go and then we come back so in the audio we have our tone settings in here if we wanted to go into the long way I'm gonna show you the easy way quick sound mode this is a great sounding radio in the 2lt and 3ot Bose audio pilot on and then set number of audio favorites so what audio favorites is is how many pages show up so say say I want 20 set up this is going to come back here and up here I'm gonna have see all the dots right there so I'm gonna have 20 pages or 23 sets up here and four pages of five so five there's ten there's 15 there's 20 from the factory it's set on auto so what happens is we're gonna come back up here on auto and you're gonna see that I only have two bars up there two dots so we have ten up here if I save this one now I have three so it adds a third any time I go to the next page it automatically adds the third I don't know why it does that it's done it forever but that just kind of shows how to manage the favorites there as well go back into audio because that's what we're talking about if you come down you can reset your music index you got HD radio we can turn our HD HD radio on I don't listen to a.m. or FM radio explicit content you can change shut that off you have kids you can do that reset music index I don't know what it does music index might be likes favorite stations or who knows it's not favorite stations but just like maybe some audio that you save on XM radio stuff like that and whatnot so tone settings let's go back here to the radio so tone settings you don't no need to go into all of that you can simply hit the sound right here and that's exactly what you were seeing earlier in here hit it go up you can move it like this right there fade the balance the equalizer the sound mode browse this is how you can kind of go through your stations let's not only use AM stations let me go to FM here browse now so that is going to show all of the stations that have some power to them so obviously 89.3 so there's some there's some there eighty nine nine there's music there there's music there so it's only going to show powerful stations so back in the day when we're traveling you know we'd have to start going through it we'd have to kind of like do this and go to the go to eighty nine point four right so there's no 89 point for it just goes to the next strongest station that's what browse as you is the strongest stations that you're coming in to from where you're at HD radio that just shows your HD radio so there's an HD radio on this channel here so that what HD radio does is that 89.3 gives them a clear signal but also they may have a second channel and they may be pulling in a channel especially like with I Heart Radio they may be pulling a channel in from another city so 89.3 here in Louisville could be rock-and-roll right well there may be an 89.3 station - that could be jazz so I don't know of any I think 98 nine maybe is one here in Louisville so yes so see how it has the one in the two so I can I can come over here to see if I can do this I'm not sure how to do this I've never done this before so but you can see there's the one in the two on there and I just have no idea how to do it guys sorry moving on now to the navigation I love the navigation the navigation is really good in the car but the navigation is a lot of times out-of-date as well which is why we use our phones now with apple carplay with Waze and stuff like that so you can see we're at home right now if I wanted to put in a destination I can simply come in here I type out my destination just like I would do a letter an envelope without putting in the zip code we don't know our zip code right so now it could pull it up Bachman Auto Group I can call them I can look at different routes let's see if there's any different routes here so yeah there's a couple different routes way way out of the way right 26 miles every day for me to work so I can tell it to go and it's gonna start my new destination and it's gonna give me audio chat you have different ways of mutinous you have different ways of seeing everything here if you want to edit anything like you know what I hope in turn left on Brookstone way never done this avoid Brookstone away so we're gonna avoid it there's no way to avoid this one here but it is what it is it's rerouting it's gonna go all crazy because it wants me to you know avoid a street that I have to go on but so that shows you how you can avoid things as well we have different ways of the maps look like so if we wanna see traffic events there's nothing nearby there's nothing on our route nearby it kind of shows us what's going on so we go here which shows us the construction I live down right next to that so I know there's nothing nothing going on there but if there was a long delay it would tell us if there's a long delay so there's a road closure on that one right so now we know that we can't go on a road closure but also if there's like traffic or accident so there's a traffic eastbound exit 1:05 temporary with limit road workouts where I work on a light saying traffic accident there's an accident there just tell you that there's an accident if it's a long delay you can avoid that accident so all sorts of different things on the traffic which is which is really cool the traffic comes to you from XM radio so if you don't have an XM radio subscription then you wouldn't have that availability to you and you have to pay for that as well XM radio becomes free for the first year with a two and three LT car different the way the maps look I think 3d heading up is the route to go I don't know why anybody would want to do anything else because you can kind of see up there that cancel button I hit cancel to go in there show on map if hey if I want to show all the fuel stops now I can come down here I know there's a fuel stop down here and there's a fuel there's a fuel there we go so there popped up so there's a Shell station if I wanted directions to that I could find that and you could actually type in shell up here and it would find all the shells around the area so there's all the shells and if I K there's the gas prices again updates by having XM radio and whatnot then you're good to go there as well some more things that are in here is just different settings you can set up my places so say you want to set up home and work you can do that we have the map preferences it's kind of a little redundant but you know map colors Auto day and night so landmarks 3d which is really cool 3d buildings show train in 3d I haven't messed with this stuff so we have that go back in there edit destinations if I had a destination I can go in there and do it avoid on route I just showed you that show on map is all sorts of things in there as well so I showed you the voice recognition earlier and the voice recognition is good it's not great so if you're wanting to do this you just have to be patient let me show you what would you like navigation before we go on please say address place of interest intersection or contact address please say the address 9650 Bluegrass Parkway Louisville Kentucky one moment please so so there you go search for it we're good to go I believe she asked if I want to go there the route is on the display want to begin route guidance yes okay so there you go so I've done that completely without touching the radio so we're gonna cancel that route I'm gonna show you one other things so to speed this up what justice does really really good in this car you can do this what would you like navigation before we go on please see how that pops up there I'm gonna click that address and that shuts her up and allows you to do everything do everything without having to wait for that period of time just by pushing that button there you can also do that for the audio I kind of forgot to mention that during the audio you could do this what would you like to 99.5 fm okay tuning to 99 so there you go you can also play artists so on your phone that's gonna be from your phone if I had music on my phone let's see if I do oops we want to do this what would you like play Dave Matthews Band okay tuning to Dave Matthews Band radios ok so that so that which is a Sirius XM radio station huge DMV fan if you didn't know but I think I thought I had some music in my phone but if it brought up if I had it on the phone it would go to the phone as well and if it had multiple phones in here it would do it on multiple phones bring up all the music for that as well next thing we're going to pee dr the PDR is a huge huge huge improvement from the c7 so PDR will go in here obviously we're gonna hit okay and you can see that it's recording so since the car has been started I've been in here for 32 minutes almost and I have 24 minutes left on my SD card that I have in here I have 128 gig SD card in there so we're gonna start with right here so I can stop and start the recording I have this set up so it automatically records every time the car has started just like a dash cam video overlay I have sport and the really cool thing with the c8 that we didn't have in the c7 is we can preview that so as long as we're stopped in park we can see what the preview looks like for sport if you aren't familiar with it you obviously would like to know what that is like so that way you can make sure that you have the right overlay if I hit the gas you'll see that it goes up now we're gonna come back here and we're gonna go to track we're gonna hit preview and then you're gonna see the track stuff what's important the brake up there in the top right hand corner red gas green steering wheel down there and then this tells us this is only gonna be on cars with magnetic ride control this is going to tell us what mode we are in we are in touring mode now we're in sport mode now we're going to be in track mode I want to put it into performance mode maybe hit the button too quick so now I have it in performance tracks for it one and so that down here is going to tell us that we are in number one if I'm in number two if I'm in race if I'm in dry or wet it tells us what it is again this is only if you have magnetic ride control it's not gonna work without a magnetic ride control vehicle over here tells you how far you driven on the track that's your G meter and then once you have it track set up it would show the GPS of the track up there if you are in the track mode you can start using different tracks I don't have any track saved in here you can save them to Cosworth and stuff like that but the really cool thing is is we hit the custom track we tell it to learn a new update from c7 to see eight is we can't up we're on a circuit track or an autocross track so if we're on a circuit trek we just do that we'll start once we hit that button it's gonna use that position as your start/finish so the next time you come around there that's where your timing is going to be when to start finished so you want to make sure you get out of the track get your warm up lap done tilts come in here do none custom track hit learn and then as soon as you're at your start/finish line or very very close you hit circuit if you're gonna be on a autocross course so you what you want to do is you want to drive along the course the fin it to the finish line and then press the finish button so if I'm at the finish line I finish right here lap timing will begin automatically the next time you pass the start line with the PDRs recording so now you're good to go on that huge improvements over the c7 absolutely awesome records in 1080p you also recording like 480 I think why you'd want to do that I don't know but records in 1080p on that as well over here's all the recordings that I've done so you can see again 128 gig sd card I've got recordings to 615 so it looks like about a day or so at 3:10 p.m. of me driving that seems really short but I guess I've been in the car for a long time recording this video so it's just been running and running running but what happens is I've got my settings set up that my automatic recording is on so our audio recording is I'll excuse me automatic recording on is the second one I can configure this that I'm in 1080p or 480p which I have it in 1080 only in valet mode and allow recording override so what happens is once I get done with my twenty three minutes here it's gonna come down to the one on 615 at 3:10 p.m. and delete that one if I wanted to let's go up here I don't know why that's not plane getting the air code there we go this one right here so if I wanted to watch this one from earlier I can I can do that so it looks like this one I went to work so I'm just driving through Louisville Kentucky and I can fast-forward that and whatnot I can just hit play or pause and do that and there'd be audio in here music I'm usually don't have a lot of music on what I'm going to work but must have been chilling the must been a day I was just chilling so we're good there and so back to the settings audio recording automatic recording in valet mode only in really valet mode is is not really that useful anymore because this locks and this locks when the car locks but valet mode is gonna be used when you I guess I'd take that back so valet mode is useful because valet mode is gonna lock that and this and also record and not let them stop recording so yeah I said that wrong SD card information just tells you that what my SD card name is my size oh I got 32 gig in there I thought I had a that okay I thought I had a 120 128 in there I must have changed changed it so it looks like a 32 gig SD card is gonna be good for about 25 recordings or so and then one thing you do not want to do mac users Mac users listen up do not format this card inside the vehicle if you are a Mac user and you format the card inside here you're not gonna be able to get the debt off you have to go to a Windows computer and do it and I'm not a guy as a Windows computer learn it our way there is an app to do it but it took me a long time and it's very frustrating to say the least so do not format your card in here it's very very important that you use your card straight from the factory from put it in the put it in the glove box which that goes over here and to kind of show you the gold let's kind of see the gold goes towards you the label Gords towards the passenger side it goes in there just like the c7 does except for now it's a vertical instead of horizontal or did I say that right horizontal to the vertical it's a little bit opposite from the c7 so software information just tells you everything don't know what any of it means and you can just scroll up and scroll down and here but that's pretty much it on that we have and then we have none and here as well and we also have timing I forgot to show you those two as well so timing just shows you the 0-60 0-100 quarter mile zero to 100 to zero and just shows you the guess gas pedal and rpms and the racetrack timing thing there as well and then so like I like to probably have a none or sport and then if I want to start recording I can do that right there as well and just start recording or stop recording but I do have automatic recording on and when you start the car what happens is actually let me hit record again to start recording so when I'm on this screen right here this note comes up that PDR is recording audio and video and then what happens is this little red dot right here shows that it's recording so that's how you know when you get in a car if it's recording if you happen to miss that message we're only gonna touch on this briefly you do have Wi-Fi hotspot with coming to the vehicle I've never used it but you can turn it on and turn it off right there you do get 30 days and I think one gigabyte of trial when you get a new car and then it's like 25 bucks a month it's through AT&T it's unlimited data you can change your Wi-Fi name so if I wanted this to be say Chevy dude on YouTube I can change that just like that so now everywhere I go upside screw that oh there goes everywhere I go my Wi-Fi is gonna be broadcasting when the cars on and people looking for Wi-Fi is gonna see Chevy dude on YouTube marketing marketing marketing it's all I do right there's my Wi-Fi password I don't have I don't have internet on here one thing that I tell everybody to do is just to use your if you do pay for Wi-Fi use your cell phone number so that's really easy for people to know is like hey what's the Wi-Fi password I'll just use my cell phone number what's your cell phone number 502 oval oval olive all right so that's that's really really simple to do and down here tells you how many devices are connected so this screen can all be set up in different ways it's all customizable so you'll see here that if I want to I just hold this in and say I want my phone to be over here and my camera to be over here that I can do that and I just messed that all up so we'll move that back here move that back here I have the navigation of their Wi-Fi hotspot was right here PDR was over here settings were over here and what I put over here apple carplay that's what I had so I want to put apple carplay right there so you can see I can move that all over just like phones now today so every screen could look different climate control you do have the climate control in here I didn't go over it earlier because it's just you know you're not really gonna use it but it is something a little bit easier to use right there which said that off so we don't get any feedback from the vents and then just different apps in here that you can do you do like Wall Street Journal you can do other things and whatnot but by Chevrolet marketplace OnStar services so if you needed to talk to adviser or white - wife eye hotspot directions your account information there as well I do pay for OnStar on my car but just because if you get stolen I can track it can be shut down all that good stuff as well let's talk about users the car can set up users so that way when they get in with key fob one key fob to everything goes to the way they want it that is HVAC the seat the radio stations everything goes to that so users now this is how you do it so you can create a profile or you can sign in when you sign him you're gonna want to sign in with your OnStar user account so once you sign in with your OnStar user account you just do the email address you put in your OnStar password and then you can go in there and set up your users they'll be you got five available profiles and you can do that all here so when you put in your email address that's gonna tell you that it's looking up account you put in your password if I put my password in right it's gonna tell me sign in there you go so it's popping up there you just hit I want to hit view your settings so we're gonna come in here and it has your name so you can change your name you can see it went to static because it doesn't have anything in here so we're gonna change my name to Mike tell it to save you can change your profile picture we'll do some little waves in here you can do profile identifiers so it tells you right here that key fob one started this car so our vehicle key one so I'm gonna hit save so that way every time I get in here with key five one it's going to know that it's me and set it up and then just tells you your account and stuff like that so that's pretty much it with the users if I wanted to put a pin code in here I could put a pin code in here as well but I'm not gonna do that so you can now see why car salesmen typically don't go over the cars with you because every single car is this in-depth and detailed this everything I'm showing you here is really similar to most of General Motors vehicles and I think I said it earlier maybe I didn't but as of June 15th there should be an update on your car if you have the navigation from the factory that you can start using apple carplay Android auto wirelessly something new it's a new update you need to connect to your Wi-Fi or have a Wi-Fi enabled car from Verizon actually from AT&T and through OnStar have Wi-Fi in your car you get that update but if you don't have Wi-Fi set up from in your car that you can broadcast the Wi-Fi signal just connect your Wi-Fi at home and do it it's very very simple to do so you just go into settings you go into system you go into Wi-Fi networks you find your Wi-Fi and you put in your password and you're good to go and then you can come back here and check for updates that are on the car and update your car as it's needed now that we are connected to my Wi-Fi you can go back to the updates it screen and check for updates and it just updated for me so we don't have to do anything no updates available cuz it just updated for me all right the next thing we're gonna go over is all of the vehicle settings that you can do inside this car there's a lot of them so where I'm at right now is I'm in the settings and I clicked on the vehicle tab right here we've already went over to Z mode in my mode earlier in this video so you can check out the description for the tabs on that so we're gonna start right up here climate and air quality so there's multiple things available in here we have Auto fan speed so if I wanted to automatically be on high every time I get in the car so like summer and winter I can do that mine's set up on medium which is direct from the factory and then we have Auto cooled seats Auto heated seats Auto defog and auto rear defogger are all on so every time we get into the car and the temperatures are correct it'll do those accordingly the next thing is collision and detection system there's only two available in here really there's three but side by side blind zone alert which is your little indicators in the mirrors over there and right there you have your rear park assist alert I showed you that earlier and very much needed and rear cross-traffic alert rear cross-traffic alert is an amazing feature and basically what that does is when you are in a parking spot and you're backing out in the tail end of your car gets past the vehicles next to you there's a radar that goes down about 90 feet and it's looking for anything about the size of a moped and what if it sees that it alerts you on the screen of where it's coming and I believe it does say rear cross traveller it's saved me already in this car and it saved me in other cars just simply because there's a big car next to me and I can't see it so very nice to have that comfort and convenience is the next thing chime volume we can have that all sorts of different levels there reverse tilt mirror so basically I'll show you here we'll put it on the driver 1 so when I put this in Reverse it's gonna tilt the mirror down just like that so that I can see the ground I don't think that's really necessary on here it's really good in the older cars because now I have them the cameras and all that stuff that I can see back there and whatnot I could do this and have the lines so I can see again the outside of lines or my mirrors so if I wanted to you know get out around this side I know that I need to do this and if I keep going that I'm gonna hit the grass right there in that area right there so put it back in park most shut this feature off because I don't like it and then remote Mir folding so remember earlier in the video right the beginning the video I shared with you that the remote Mir folding is an option so when I go away and I lock the car or the car automatically locks I'm gonna show you how that set up here in a second the mirrors were automatically fold in so imagine I hit the lock button I start walking away those mirrors fold in just like that so that way nobody knocks them off which is very very helpful that's where you do that comfort and convenience we're gonna go down one we're gonna lighting is the next one this is the vehicle exterior lights so there's basically when you if you were to hit the lock unlock button or lock button it turns the lights on if you don't want that to happen do that exit lighting you can set up to four different settings off 30 60 and 120 seconds that means when you go in at nighttime the car locks the lights will stay on for that period of time that you so select power door locks I think this is a very very good one for many people so we have Auto door unlock I currently have it on all doors but if your this is what I tell like my my women customers that if you come up and you unlock the door with the keyless access that we all do on the Corvette or any other vehicle currently I have it so it unlocks both doors so that way if I'm with somebody that I don't have to get my key fob out of my pocket that you can also set up so it only unlocks the driver door so when you open the driver door you're gonna do one of two things you're gonna get your key fob out and hit the unlock button or reach down and unlock the car so that door unlocks over there if it's only set up for auto door unlock for the driver door delay locking just means that if you hit the lock button on the key fob once the last door is closed about 10 seconds later that's when it's locked I don't have that set up is on I'm going to show you why here I think in the next one yes remote lock unlock and start so remote remote lock feedback so I have this with lights and horn you can have it off you have it lights only or horn only I'm sure they're specific areas that all of those can apply for me I want to see it and I want to hear it I may not necessarily always want to see it but when I walk away from this car and I hear the horn honk I know that my car is locked remote remote driver unlock so remote driver unlock adjust which door is unlocked when pressing the unlock button once the remote keyless entry transmitter so that means if I hit the unlock button on the key fob only my driver's door unlocks if I hit it twice all doors unlock but if I were to hit my key fob one time all doors are locked that's why it's set from the factory I didn't even realize that was something that was an option in there because I have it set up I never use my key fob right you physically have to touch your key fob in order for that to work remote auto start cool seats hot seats on so that way when you remote start your car that it is done remote window operation this is a really cool one let me show you what this is right we are now I'm going to show you the auto lock feature I got one hand here one hand on the camera and the car is gonna lock here in just a couple seconds and you'll see the remote locked feedback now I might mess something up but the lights the lights didn't flash the horn honk lights didn't flash and then the mirrors closed in so now we are gonna get the key fob out of my pocket and if I push and hold this for three seconds both windows just roll down that is your remote window operation very very cool feature if you forgot to remote lock your or if you threat to a remote start your car that allows you to like get some of the heat out really really fast back in the car I hit the arrow down one button this is the passive door unlocked this is what I was kind of talking about earlier when i unlock my car using the door handle button whatever you want to call it the pad this is gonna unlock all doors if I only want the driver door then I hit that and it only unlocks the driver door passive door lock on with horn chirp so maybe because it wasn't dark enough out I'm sitting in the driveway my lights didn't flash but this is the passive door lock but it's kind of redundant with this one up here with that maybe you gotta hit the button on that to do that and then the other one doesn't work with just the light so again you're kind of walking away from the car and you're really not looking back from at the car so that just tells you that the car is locked the remote left vehicle in alert a very very good feature and the remote removed from the vehicle or let me get out of the car I'm gonna show you the remote vehicle away from the car very very important so we're gonna open the door because I want this to act like a real setting here's my key fob we'll throw it over there we'll shut the door key fob is missing key fob is missing check for key we're gonna shut the car off I'm only hit the button one time this time there goes a shutoff it's just a little delayed key missing one restart allowed so what happens is the vehicles gonna shut down in one minute you're like oh snap I don't have my key I can put my foot on the brake hit the start/stop button and I can start my car without the key I can only do that one time I cannot do that multiple times if I do this again shut it off I cannot no longer start my car and again I'm having a little bit of difficulties here because this has been running I've been recording for probably three hours now and what happens sometimes when you're doing all of this stuff it just puts the memory in the computer in the car really really full and so it does goofy things if that happens I'm gonna do it right now is we shut the car off and we open the door for 90 seconds 89 seconds does not work so what I always tell everybody I just had this happen with a customer with a brand new blazer one of my really really good customers actually my insurance agent is she said hey the screen is black it's not working so I told her exactly that shut the start the car shut the car off open the door for 80 or for 90 seconds 89 seconds doesn't work and what I always tell people to do is hey Siri start a timer for 90 seconds so there you go so not only did I speak to Siri I felt I speak to Syria I had to go in and find my timer for 90 seconds I always use the timer on my phone because that is going to allow me to have well more than 90 seconds again 89 seconds does not allow this to clear the cachet out of the memory of the car so it's very very important that you do that all right and the very last one with the remote left in vehicle alert under the remote lock unlock start features is exactly that I have put my key fob there I do that a lot I shut my car off I get out of my car I start walking away and I shut my door be be beep there you go that has telling me that my key fob is in my car I've told you guys in the past that this car can lock with your key fob in there so you want to make sure that you don't do that if you don't forget about it and it's another reason to have OnStar because I can use my my Chevrolet app to lock or unlock my car as well so we'll hop back in here we'll start it up and we'll go on to the next one all right I just changed my battery now I'm on my fifth battery for this video I've been recording for about four hours on this so we'll see what the Edit time is I told you guys up front this is going to be a long long video so we're gonna go into the next setting I believe we were on yes right height is the next one pretty simple location based auto lift you probably want to have that on this is for cars with that East 64 it lifts and as you know most cars have it so when we get somewhere and we use our front lift suspension I gotta put mine down mine was up we're gonna let that lower so when you hit this button it's gonna raise and it's asking you do you want to dismiss it or remember it so if I wanted to remember it I hit this button right here dismiss it is that I've already got memorized for my location so now what that does is memorize it and you can use up to 1,000 areas of where that's gonna race and it's really a really cool feature and the only drawback to that feature is its noisy unlike my Tesla it's really quiet that it does that my Tesla does that too and but yeah super super nice so right height you just want to make sure your location based is Auto on so that way that works and you get that option to remember where it is seat position so you have a seat entry memory and seat exit memory as well I don't have my seat exit memory on because my seats always all the way back anyways but my seat entry memory is on because I'm six foot three my wife is five foot three so our seats and steering wheels are in a little bit different position so when I come up to the car it'll automatically move out but you're not six foot three and you want that easy exit see Don turn it on so that way you set that up and you move back so speaking of memory seats I mentioned I show the memory seats really really early the video but I was gonna wait to do the how to set the memory seats here because the car has to be on has to be running and what you want to do is set your steering wheel your mirrors and your seat and the proper location and since I'm driver one set pushing number one to get two beeps it'll tell you right there that it's done and we're good to go so my wife is number two so you can see mirrors are moving seats moving steering wheel moved and to move these back into place you just keep it in like that you want to set number two first of all you want to put number two in the right position and you're good to go oops I have to set button and then the exit seat as well you put that in the exits exit spot and that'll move everything back to the exit spot so very very simple to do that and for two and 3lt cars you have it on the passenger as well so over here on the passenger we'll see two is not set one is set that's for me so that way when she's over here and I can just hit number one and get it in and then we have easy exit that's not set up either nobody's ever set up the easy exit or number two on the passenger side but it works exactly the same on passenger side and it is not tied to a key fob to the best of my recollection and then lastly under the vehicle tab setting is the valet mode the valet mode is very very cool you set up your own pen every single time we're gonna do one two three four hit enter you confirm it one two three four luck so now it is locking it's gonna there we go it tells you that the vehicle is recording audio and video for that valet guy tells you right here so if they even click that out it still tells you that it's recording video and audio valet mode active 85 mile an hour top speed acceleration limited so this car does not go over 85 miles an hour when it's put into valet mode this is just like a hotel safe you put in the a different coat every time we put in the same code every time regardless and like I said that is locked this is locked and they can't use the Bluetooth they can't use nothing they can't go over 85 miles per hour once you come back type in your PIN code and you're good to go you heard that click that's unlocked that's unlocked and now I can do 180 if I wanted to keyword key warning to this huge huge warning do not forget this code if you forget this code you have to go to the service department and it's gonna be very very costly to do that it's probably two to three to maybe even four hours of flavor to get that done and you're talking $120 hour labor time so you're talking 240 to probably 3 what 500 600 bucks so don't forget the code you put in there I just use 1 2 3 4 as it as a as an example but say I put in the second code wrong that's gonna be like a lock codes you enter do not match please retry and reenter lock code to place your system in valet mode you can tell it to retry confirm lock code is where we're at so I put it in the one-two-three-four number again hit lock it flashes allows you to take a picture of it as well so you can keep them on your phone for you and we're back into the valet mode setting type in the wrong number you're Coby event is incorrect enter the digits forgot code please visit your dealer to recover your lock code there you go so don't forget your lock code 1 2 up to be 1 2 3 4 there we go good to go so as I'm just trying to finish up here I'm just literally going over the car just like did I forget anything so I want to show you guys everything in this car so let's show the vanity mirrors they're really simple right you put the Sun Visor down open that up the lights come on I can put my lipstick on when I'm driving there's one of the passenger side as well and let's see I've done this yep so these move out as well so you need that to come out here it comes up there here you go alright we'll talk about a couple other things here that I think is important for you to know if you have a power loss that means you can't get the car started you can't do anything I don't know why you would have this happen but if you have zero power to the car you cannot put this car into neutral what you have to do this is very very complicated extremely complicated what you have to do is take all of this trunk liner out you have to take all of these bolts out you have to undo these go take all this out and down on the transmission I'm going to put a picture on the screen right now there's a manual transmission over I don't know thanks manual transmission override so put it into neutral that's how you gonna get it on a rollback now all rollbacks all all tow companies have wheels that they can put on here that's mostly what they're going to do but you do not want to drag this car you will ruin this transmission and whatnot so again here it is on the screen one more time also if you notice on that screen there is a fill plug for the dual clutch transmission this is where you put the two extra quarts and if you're going to track this car now you don't know this is the dual clutch transmission fluid that you need to put in your car right there is your GM part number one nine four one eight zero one six this stuff is about forty three dollars per quarts you need to put two quarts in it a lot of people have said why doesn't GM just fill it up take fifty dollars a quart and times that so it's a hundred and times that just by twenty nine hundred cars that they've built so far and then take the fact that most people don't track their cars I think it's less than three percent actually track their cars so that is a lot of money that GM is saving and trust me when I say GM will attempt to save every penny they have if we go back and look at the 16 to 17 Traverse 16 to 17 Traverse they look at the headrest in the third row seat they changed that headrest out I was told that that savings to change that headrest was fifteen dollars per vehicle you times that by a hundred thousand vehicles that's 1.5 million dollars for one vehicle and one design change so yes that's why they're not putting this in there but again here's that picture on the screen one more time with showing you the transmission override to put it in neutral and where that drain fill cap is the drain fill cap for the transmission is the same status you have to take out all that deck liner that trunk liner and undo that fill cap and put it in I put mine in right when I got the car so but now I'm told that Ron fellows they have a hack that they use this big long funnel so I'm hoping that they give me a video on when they do that but and will produce that and put that up on the screen in a future video but there is a hack to do it that you can use this really long funnel to get in there as well so let me look around the car one more time again this is the video that I want to produce and show you everything on the car very long video I know that's why the timestamps are down below but if there's any future videos I will put them in the description and make them in the cards in the top right hand corner of this video as well z51 cars all have front and rear tow hooks I'm not doing much editing in this video but so yes so tow hooks are important if you need to tow the car again if you need to tow it up onto a rollback or anything like that this car only needs to be on a rollback never let anybody lift it up from the front tires and tow it but this tool right here is very important I put a link to it in Amazon there's a bunch of tools that you need to have on these I seen people use screwdrivers with black tape on the front of them these plastic pry tools work wonders and you use them over and over and over again so front and rear tow hooks the front one is right here and basically you just get your pry tool in there undo that and right there you see it on the back here will go all the way to the back it is on the driver's side right here again just get that up there we'll go from the side here maybe I haven't done this one yet here I see that hole now there we go pull that off and there's your rear tow hook right there you see a little indent right there that's how you put that one slot in there and done this one yep the other one I did off camera to make sure I did it right oh I just broke it broke the little tab oh well we'll do it take two in the CC it blink there we go since I broke that piece take it out and so what I did here is put this up like so and then I put my little pry tool and like this and ran it up there and got that in there with no problem see I kind of know what I'm doing sometimes so I did find something else I want to go over I was just again I'm just kind of going over everything voice prompts I mentioned earlier in the video about like you could hit this when you're doing the navigation remember I did this directions we go on please say address please address intersection or Cassie doesn't work that way address I cannot complete your navigation so coming in here to voice we can do the prompt link we can do it informative short and auto so we could like change that to short so she's not doing all that stuff confirm more or less we already have that and confirm less and then Auto feedback voice speed determines how quickly the voice recognition system speaks that's probably a good setting their friendly prompts now I want her to be rude to me no friendly prompts adjusts the formality of the voice recognition system select on to hear friendlier voice prompts with more personality select off for shorter more direct prompts select Auto to have her prompt so we're gonna do off because I don't want her to be friendly she's probably gonna curse at you and maybe there's something that comes out extremely low slaps you across the face a little bit I don't know but especially if you're in Jersey right we love Jersey I love I have a lot of clients in Jersey and I love their accents and just how prompt they are and then tutorial mode so so if we shut tutorial mode off what what's gonna happen hey how about that for prompt right she just said yes oh my god that's awesome yes so there's nothing that came up on the screen saying you can do this right so tutorial mode yes all that came up and that was this short prompt friendly prompts off let's do this on yeah oh no it's not that voice can confirm more here we go yes no it's not that what is it we're gonna find this together guys prompt length yes informative there we go there we go so voice prompt link short confirmed less friendly prompts off what you be mean to me to Tora mode off allow prompt interruptions yes this is good navigation please address so again we're messing with stuff and then also while I'm sitting here the card does shut off automatically over time I haven't figured out how long that is but I've been setting in the car for let's go to our 26 minutes so it looks like it's about thirty minutes so every 30 minutes the cars automatically gonna shut off unless you tell it not to shut off so that's one big thing to to look at so I think guys I think that's it I'm looking I'm looking over everything here and again no the video is long but there is not gonna be another more informative video no sales person in the country is gonna show you more about a 2028 than me right here I love the museum this is kind of what the museum does but they do it in about an hour and a half so and the museum has taught me things right we have a great working relationship I love museums so this is one of the things that the museum does they've got time to do is kind of go over more and stuff but this is more in depth in what the museum even does because listen when you're at the museum you want to have the experience but you want to get your car and get driving home and having some fun right so they conform to what you want to do just as much as I do as my clients as well so guys I can't think of anything else I went through that I saw that one last thing I really appreciate it share the video
