2020 Beta 200RR Vs 300RR - Watch before you buy Review!

hey guys just watch for the ones out channel hey guys doing thanks again for joining me today enough about me what's behind me here hearts a twenty twenty two hundred are in the twenty $2,300 no I reached out to beta Canada and these guys were nice enough or crazy enough to let me borrow these bikes for a while now a lot of you guys that fall on my channel will know that I'm a husky guy 4-stroke got the FB 501 and ridden the TX and the TE 300 and love KTM some kind of a loyal to Sara but I've heard a lot of good things about both these bikes and I was really interested and I've been thinking about getting a two-stroke I wanted to find out for myself what these bikes are all about now you guys will notice they're not exactly in showroom condition so I test them just like me and you guys probably would so beta don't freak out the dre da Turan the and the light that decide to handguards but I promise that was not me it just wasn't you guys let's get into it and check out what these bikes are all about now if you're looking for a video that deep dives into factory specifications then this video is not for you like if you're looking to hear and see the unique personalities in these two woods weapons fun factors or why they may suit you or ye one one versus the other and what my personal preference was after writing both then you've arrived and guys I'm no flippin expert rider I'm a weekend warrior who could definitely use some more skills and I love riding I'm loved looking for new challenges and as you guys well know having the right tool or woods weapon for ride can make all the difference how to keep things balanced and even-steven we got Trevor and myself ten different riding styles to in different levels of experience and we tested in a whole lot of different conditions we were in challenging single tracks no my wet receipt brandy roots and rocks steeps in descents and flowy stuff we were in Sandy Hill had the whole kit and caboodle [Music] I found myself liking the twenty twenty two hundred or are immediately Trevor found himself immediately drawn towards the 300 RR which was not funny fingering each other over the testing period we'd had them for a while so every day we would debate why we liked one person and each person was defending their opinion if the 200 acts along bigger than it is it screams okay and it's a ton of fun and I was surprised the Trotter has a ton of jam and it's so nimble and light that's what I liked about it it was extremely lovable too they did that three hundred guys will tell you that 200 of them enough tour boat Elliott don't have enough look ability but tell you it doesn't have enough Jam they'll tell you it's it's got less and that 300 is will change your life that's what they'll tell you but I found that 200 really capable and I was really I really liked how light it was I liked how Trimble it was and I found it had a lot of torque and a lot of luck ability I'm going to show you some footage of where I'd liked it and I test it because I was curious for myself because I like this bike so much I thought well there's gotta be something wrong with you know it's got to be feeling somewhere because well Trevor are so committed to the 300 what where is the 200 Taylor I found on the 300 I got a little lazy gotta be honest with you yes it does have a ton of torque and luck ability but I found that that made me a little bit of a lazy rider and and I was stolen here and then you know maybe that's maybe I need a little more experienced officer than that clutch but I got lazy on the 300 whereas the 200 I stayed on my game I felt a little more connected and grounded with the mic and what was happening around I just I just felt like I was in the zone with more on a 200 I liked how the suspension had aligned with both these bikes they're really smooth and they really pick up the big hints and both bikes I found myself running less from obstacles if you guys know what I mean I find myself in the past I would spend all this time running from rocks or roots trying to find the cleanest line and with these bikes I because of the suspension is just they're just really well balanced most of the time I just I would just power through and just rather than try and pick the cleanest line I would just try and pick the straightest line and even if that meant going over or the odd Rock or root I was the less concerned about it because the suspension really does a great job of eating up the big hits now whether you're a new rider and experienced rider I think it's worthy of knowing that as an explosive hit yeah you can dial that down with the power bell but it does have a big hit I call it a big hit out of the game and it definitely has that and that can be fantastic but it also can be more than you want I liked the 200 R because it was predictable it didn't have this big hit out of the gate 300 could get you in trouble and I'm no stranger to trouble because the 500 Fe that thing will blow up on your hand now they've been a little bit dramatic here but I'm trying to draw the comparison between the two and why I was so drawn to the 200 rmr I could focus on the challenge at hand and whereas I really had to keep in my mind with a 300 what was on top and how it could go sideways on me we're at the Turner I could just relax and it had tons of power and power and if I really wanted to give it some you know gusto and it had lots of jam I just need to grab more now there's all this talk about counter balancing honestly I didn't even think about vibration on either of the bikes through the entire ride and is the 200 or does it vibrate a lot more yeah a little bit but again it doesn't hit my radar and other things on my mind and it's not whether my bike is vibrating that doesn't even hit my top 10 price both these bikes are very similar they're 750 to 900 dollars apart depending on where you buy them the weight you're looking at about give or take 13 to 15 pounds the seat height the same ground clearance relatively the same the wheelbase just a teeny bit smaller with the 200 the fuel capacity the saying the personalities of the characteristics are aware they're they really change of where they really differentiate themselves it's a great woods weapon I had a ton of fun on this money and I didn't want to give it was traveling apron and mine the
