Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Itβs a tough decision for which one to get. On one hand the M235 is crazy fast and handles great and has comfort/features.
Then every time I see the higher trims I wonder if I made the right choice.
Then does your decision change when itβs a used model? Does it Change based on how long you want to own it?
To me it feels like this could be a 10 year long daily driver before stepping up to a Porsche
My daily is a 2018 M240i and I love it, it is a wonderful mix of crazy speed and low key comfort. It handles amazingly, sounds great, blends into the crowd for non-car people and gets thumbs ups and questions from enthusiasts. Small car fits my 6β4, chonky-ass nicely and it makes my wife giggle in launch mode.
Donβt hate on it till you drive. Itβs an inexpensive rocket/go kart and itβs awsone.
In my country:
New M2 competition: equivalent of $163k for the manual. 169 for the auto.
M240i is $67k equivalent.
Waaaay better deal.
Can't watch right now, what's their conclusion? Is it worth spending the extra $10k for the M2?
$50k buys you a decent Certified M3.
I think it looks very disproportionate and the wheels are way to small. The only 2 series that looks decent is the M2 line up. The others just look like squished 4 series with weird lines etc
