[Music] hey guys river renegade it's been a while since I did a video so I just wanted to make another tour video first I'm gonna make some more videos but I want to show you everything that's changed since I started the van build you can go back and look at my other videos and see the difference but starting with the outside I've got a 1986 Ford Econoline a 150 it's just a standard car go this side is just a panel and then I've got the pop-out windows on the back and then the on the driver on the passenger side I do have the sliding door I really wanted the barn doors when I started looking to buy a van but I found one with the slider and that's what I went with when I got the van it was already painted in the wheels and tires were already on there the tires were way out of balance but they were brand new so I got that fixed balanced oh man it drives a whole lot better since I did that I think the wheels came off of a Ford truck but I'm not I'm not certain but you can see on the outside I've added the awning and you can go back and look at my awning builds video and you can see how it built that and see how that operates but basically it retracts up and then I can put it in that tube and then these poles are from a photography backdrop and then there's the mini top Hardware like you would see on them a boat like a speedboat or something up here I've just got some conduit and then a silver tarp and then there's a piece of PVC pipe and another piece of conduit and that that provides quite a bit of shade in being silver on the top there it really reflects that Sun and and keeps it cool right now it's a it's a pretty day it's probably sixty degrees so it's not hot that's not cold but I have the awning up because of the shade if that Sun is pretty bright on the back here I've added a hitch to pull a trailer and I've added a ladder now this ladder once we climb up the ladder you'll see my roof rack here this roof rack is custom-built you can see in one of the other videos my brother built this he's a welder and we just got all this steel and kind of put this together I left a space here for the fact well it's not fantastic fan it's a I can't even think what it's called right now it's a max air fan so I've got the max air fan I've got a kayak rack there I can hold two kayaks and then I've put this plywood down and painted it with a sealer paint and that paints got like a sand in it so it's skid proof and I can get up here on this roof I can put my chairs up here and just hang out it makes it a whole lot easier when you're loading the kayaks to have a place to walk around and then you can see the tarp there for the awning I'm gonna go ahead and go back down and show you the inside all right starting with the inside I'm gonna start up front here you can see I've got these pretty cool swivel chairs I got them out of a 78 Ford the guy had pretty much parted the ban and they survived I went about four hours away to get these and they came with the bases there's there the swivel bases and I was able to rig those up where they work again they weren't pieces so trying to figure out how they went together was almost impossible there were a lot of bearings and bushings and things but made my brother figured something out and they worked well this one turns all the way around that one can turn and face it this way it won't turn all the way around because of that cabinet but that's all you need really in the front here I have this switch panel and that controls the lights on the front of the rack and then of course I've just got junk in here I don't have a radio in the - I took it out when I was having some vacuum leak problems and I just never put it back in and you know I I really don't listen to the radio driving anyways right here I have a bar and I've got this curtain that pulls over and then I can kind of block off the cab area so have some privacy back here and when I'm trying to keep this area hot or cool it helps having this cab blocked off right here I've got the mr. heater portable buddy it works well I've just got it mounted there but I can lift it off and put it in the floor and then I've got that fan there to circulate the air and along with that fan so moving on around here the there's a 12-volt TV and the TV is on this switch here and then this switch here controls these cool little cup holder lights and then this 12-volt outlet there and there's a cup holder on each side I see there's someone here then here's the maxxair fan right here it's nice to have it really moved some air if you want to have air pulled out of the van or blown into the van that's really nice to have I've got 12 volt at Waco fridge air Dometic and then I've got all my stickers here static campervan adventure van man for my life they're on Instagram so I'm slowly collecting stickers but that's all I've got for now the refrigerator is empty at the moment and then I've got a hook light up under there just kind of give some light in the refrigerator when I'm using it back up to this switch panel here that did the TV and that did these cupholders this third one here is a light under this hope you can see it here it's just a it's just a strip light under this shelf so at night it really illuminates that really nicely this cabinet here has just some storage and of course I just camp in this van and it's it's a you know 1st of March here so it's about time to start camping but right now the vans pretty much empty I've got this sink here I started out with a stainless steel sink and then I ran across this at t.j.maxx t.j.maxx my wife drags me there all the time but now I've been actually enjoying when we go there because they have a lot of cool things that you can use for camping or for the van so I like to look and see what they have there I added these mason jars with these hose clamps and I'm able to put some things in here remote controls this TV is on a swivel mount so it does swivel around and then it is hooked up to this radio here this radio is am/fm and then it's also USB and then it's got the auxiliary hook up so I can run my TV through the speakers in the back which all right back here have got one there and one there and they they do pretty well for the cheap speakers I didn't spend too much money on them so that's that all of that is ran by my 12-volt system and that kind of moves moses on over to here I've got three switches here that the first switch controls my gauges the second switch controls this USB outlet here and then the third switch up here controls a light on the inside of this cab now and inside this cabinet I've got some junk a backpack and thanks and I've got some toilet paper there's a you know just a folders camp for storing things movies because this TV is a DVD player as well it's got one right here on the side so I got my movies up there and then I got some books up here on the bookshelf first-aid kit a mirror hello and then under here I have a Dometic toilet and then a basket for a trash can so that's the front half of the van let's move to the back alright in the back of the van we have I've got various hooks I've got a hook to hang my camera bag I've got all my camera gear in there here's the bed this is a full-size futon mattress and I just got it at Big Lots it's just your cheap futon mattresses like I said it's full size so I didn't have to trim it down or anything it does fit tight in between here I can lay across from side to side it's easier to lay diagonally but I don't have to this bed lifts up and I have these little gas shocks to keep it open and then around the side here I have another hockey puck light that kind of likes that up I've got safe here I've got my multi-fuel camp stove I can't start a skillet back there and then all of this back here I hope you can see that it's all butane I've got just cans and cans of butane container there there's probably twelve butane canisters back there and I've got a cutting board here and some napkins and paper plates and and I've got hiking sticks and more gear here's just empty Walmart bags croaker bags a jug and then I've got propane canisters under there for the buddy heater my stove actually runs off of butane or propane so I can use that for the my propane for the stove or the heater there underneath the bed I have more storage that's basically full of blankets this one is empty at the moment when I installed these cupholders one thing I had to install them up hot enough where the bed would still open enough it doesn't open as much as it used to but that's just a sacrifice I made when I added those cupholders in there back here in the back we have these cabinets on the side and there's really nothing in there but it's good storage and then I've got another bar up here for a curtain I had an American flag hanging on that bar but I've really done away with that I still have the flag but I ended up making these covers for the back windows and you can see the snaps and you can look back in my other videos and look at those snap covers I've got them for the back and then I've got a cover that I made for this sliding door here you can see my snaps here as well I'll show you inside the back of the van one more thing before we go to the back of the van I do have these lights up here you've probably all seen these lights you can get them on Amazon they just they change colors right now they're blue but you can put them on whatever color you want you can make only change colors you make so they're nice to have they're cool a lot of people like them I like them because you can dim them down where they're not so bright all right so let's look at the back of the van all right in the back of the van I basically just have storage I've got propane cylinder there I've got my water container there I've got a toolbox under there in case I break down there's just some rags screws bungee cords and zip ties and things like that in here I've got jumper cables duct tape just various stuff my showerhead is in there and then in here is where I keep my snap covers and then this box here is just full of extra van parts along with this one here and then these straps are for the kayaks I can strap the kayaks down in this corner I keep my camping chairs and then I also keep my poles for my awning in that corner and there's life jackets and then on this side I have the paddles for the kayaks and then I've got some storage in the doors there so that is basically my self built camper van and I really enjoy it I wish I can get out in it more but I've made some changes lately just personally so I'm trying to make camping and getting out and boondocking stuff making that a priority I was really last year I didn't really make many videos because I was just working on getting my rental properties built up now we've got several rentals and we can take a little time off and camp a little more so that's that's kind of why I was on the that's kind of why I was quiet there for a little while and didn't really do anything is I was just super busy it's just hard to do at all you know between flipping property buying rental property and then of course I sell real estate and I did open my own real estate office so that took a little bit of time that's the thing I'm just trying to build up a lot of passive income and you know my real estate office that's not really a passive income that's that's really a lot of work but to rental properties and other things that I've been trying to do to get some passive income built are really starting to turn around for me so the hard work is done so this year I really want to focus on getting out and camping some more and I've got some other videos planned for you if you want have any questions anything specific you want me to make a video about just let me know in the comment section also in the description below you'll see all the I'll try to include everything that I've used in my entire van build links to that so if you want to buy for instance these poles or the refrigerator or the buddy heater whatever I have I'll try to put links to that so you can see exactly what I use now that I'm thinking about it I didn't point out this here I've just got a little folding table here I can take it and I can put it in between the seats or I can put it right here and I can work on my computer so basically this could be my office everyday if I want it to be just don't have a printer I guess I could figure out a way to put one in here but yeah that's pretty much it I appreciate you guys riding along with me and watching my videos I really sis surprised that I've got 1,800 subscribers now considering I haven't really made a video thank you so much everybody who's subscribed to me it really means a lot when I started this whole YouTube thing I didn't really expect to get any but here we are eighteen hundred subscribers later and I can't thank you guys enough because it means a lot hopefully that's another thing I'd like to do for you guys in the near future I like to get some stickers and maybe some other things that I can share with you guys so let me know in the comments section what you want to see videos of and what specific questions you have and I'll try to get all those answered so thanks again for watching and I'll catch you next time
