Stormy Night Adventure in Homemade Electric Camper

on today's adventure I'm headed Offroad in my homemade electric camper to spend the night in a rainstorm but before the rain there's some awesome fish to catch delicious foods to cook and some high-tech fun to have and when the storm starts we can hunker down inside our cozy little cabin to stay dry and protected this one's going to be a lot of fun so get cozy and let's head on out all right we got a dock right here I think we take ourselves a little fishing pit stop here we go I'll keep the battery on because I am currently charging it with our solar panels on the roof I ended up bringing a small little fishing pool today got a little Tackle Box let's go have some fun you can hear the birds chirping all around very nice brought a couple lures today nothing too crazy but I am going to use one of my favorite and that is just uh these fake worms I absolutely love these and I think I think the fish love them too let's see what we can do I know this is a tiny little fishing pole we caught one nice all right Mr fishy turn you to the water as we go put them at the edge here help acclimate them a little bit go ahead there we go let's see what else we can do what is this look at that our second fish of the day nice little pretty one and he's gone the Calm before the storm got something little guy little Sunfish very nice fish number three all right camera waterproof check you better work all right we're doing pretty well to be honest any day where you catch anything is a good day I can't believe that worked back in you go well I haven't caught anything in a little while I think it's time to call it and find myself a nice camping spot somewhere down over there and this thing is so cool holding up still nice and strong I got the solar panels right now charging up the battery I'm sure as well well that was awesome we caught some fish only got bit by one mosquito it's not raining yet we still got some daylight what a wonderful little start to the adventure but for now it's time to drive on forward find ourselves a nice little camping spot somewhere down the lake and maybe try our hand it some fishing later all really depending on the weather we we'll see how it goes but there is supposed to be some thunderstorms later so it'll be pretty interesting to ride it out uh in this and we'll see how this thing holds up tonight I'm excited a little nervous but more excited let's have some fun well let's head on the road all righty well we're out here drove the camper all the way out here and uh it always surprises me how good of a job it does getting through everything I always feel like I'm in a struggle but it just pushes through it's crazy and there was a pretty overgrown back there which was cool to actually drive through that yeah it's a beautiful day there's still some sunlight out and the sky is actually a bit brighter than it was when I was fishing maybe a half hour ago so I think I'm going to step outside and try to do a little bit more fishing cuz uh might as well I brought the gear and it's a nice day got I love the lake you can see I brought a poncho in case I need it open up these windows get some cross flow very nice get some Breeze coming in here oh I already got a mosquito flu in there get out oh he actually went out all right before I step up de do a little bit more fishing I think I want to just uh stack the boxes the right way I tried to bring a little bit less stuff this time uh food box camera gear box some lights in here this is my inverter which will be used for later some cooking gear got some water we'll talk about that yellow thing later sleeping bag uh TP fishing pole and a little backpack and stuff and I'm just going to go ahead and uh hang everything up and kind of ship things up forward a little bit to free up some room in here that breeze feels amazing just cover up my food and stuff with my sweatshirt take off some of the heat from that sun cuz woo it's getting warm in here with that I did bring a fan somewhere oh this is a little portable fan and this is going to be wonderful also we have the solar panels in they're plugged in right now you can kind of see the light on the switches on and let's go check out what we're doing over here we're charging at a little over an amp and if we check our little battery meter for our battery we're at 95% battery so we only used like 5% to get out here and plus this thing is just going to be passively charging off of the two panels up there but for now I think it's time to do a little bit more fishing beautiful day it smells really nice I smell like mint or something like wild mint is growing somewhere and if you can see over here I wanted to keep going but it's just super muddy right there and I'm really not trying to get the the camper stuck in some mud and having to like tow it out that'd be kind of a nightmare so this is going to be the spot for tonight nice little spot remember last time I was over in this area there was like a really cool dock I found somewhere over here I want to try to find that again yeah here it is the old dock I found last time oh the water's so calm right now oh look you got a little bass right there you can see it swimming and a tire and then these Massive Tires here I got to be careful I don't know if this dock is honestly going to hold my weight that would stink if I busted through yeah let's go ahead and hook up a worm oh wow something just splashed over there let's hook up a worm and uh let's catch something definitely going to catch something there's a pretty big bass right there just staring at me so let's see if he wants bite of this look at this he's like bigger than my fishing pole that is a fish this is a nice fish right here Mr Bass send them off that was a awesome and we didn't even snap our fishing pole see that thing has a massive carp oh I spooked it I think that would probably snap this pole and they don't really go after stuff like this usually what a nice day I thought it was supposed to storm we'll see if it even does it's definitely starting to get kind of gray and a little bit ominous feeling I feel like there is going to be a storm rolling in any minute now so I'm going to give it one more cast then we'll head back to the camper oh it teased me I think it's time to head on back before it starts raining there it is the camper that think is so cool and it's about to be protecting us from this rain that's coming in I can definitely like feel it in the air got really cool cloudy a little bit Breezy it's going to be exciting that was awesome caught some really nice fish today and we managed to do it before any rain sweet it definitely feels a bit warmer in here than it does outside I think the front cockpit area really puts like a greenhouse effect on this thing with the sun just kind of hitting up the front area I might end up putting like a a tarp to cover it during like a really hot days just to kind of cut off some of that heat coming in through the sun I think it's time to relax a little bit you can see it's starting to get a bit windy out there a little bit cloudier as well using my little controller as a footrest I can start to hear some little raindrops Pitter pattering on the roof but before was completely overcast we actually managed to get uh some charge from our solar panels and if you can check we went up from 95 to 96 so we went up a full percentage which is quite a bit on such a big battery like this this is a 48v 100 a hour battery huge battery and going up a percent with just two 200 what panels is pretty good to me little drops of rain can feel a bit more Breezy out here now feels good though y a little bit of rain nothing crazy just a nice calm rain and I did end up bringing in a bunch of uh my hanging lights that I got last time which will be really cool to light up the place got one two three and four got four of them it's very calming to be in here and just hear the rain hitting on the roof forgot last time I took this thing out a bird pooped on here hopefully it washes that off it's still a little bit early for dinner but I do want a little snack especially to enjoy while just listening to this rain got my little table for cooking and just hanging out out on and uh in this box right here if you can see I have an 800 W inverter and I just go ahead and plug this into my battery just like that if you can see we got power out here and I can take this plug it into my little wall extension cord now that we got power I can pull out this thing a little Kettle cuz I think it would be really nice to just have a warm cup of tea and just enjoy the sound of the rain there we go plug in my w meter and plug in the kettle we can hit the go and we're pulling right around 600 WTS on this little Kettle should have a nice cup of boiling water just a few minutes and the tea I want to have is a nice peach tea I think that'd be really refreshing [Applause] that thing boils so quick nice this tea smells amazing perfect I think the rain's slowing down a little bit it's so hot I also ended up getting this these are fantastic these are Asian peirs they're like the juiciest fruit ever they're just so good thought it would be perfect with some peach tea my hands still smell like fish so good what a perfect little snack and it definitely seems like the rain is pretty much stopped right now I'm glad I got to get some fishing in earlier though that was a lot of fun I also did bring my little thermometer again it is uh 77 in here I'm going to pop this thing outside I guess I'll just like put this here got all my monitors my power monitor my thermometer and I can even put my phone here for the battery I really like this front window section it's like super light just sees the whole world around you and if you just move back a couple feet it feels nice and secure and like kind of secluded back here I don't feel like exposed or anything which is something I did worry about when I first kind of designed this front part I thought I would just feel like super exposed when sleeping in here but that's not even the case which is uh super nice sounds like the rain decided to come back a little bit more nothing like just laying down listening to the rainfall I forgot my windows open I can still feel little drips hitting me in the face getting kind of hungry and I got something pretty delicious planned for dinner I make some homemade sort of pasta sauce we're going all out got crushed tomatoes got an onion got some garlic got some basil I got some Habaneros for some heat and I got a big habanero I mean a bell pepper I also got a can of salmon which I want to add and of course some spaghetti and some olive oil let's make some delicious pasta I always forget that onions make you cry into the pot first my fingers smell like fish now they're going to smell like garlic here we go look at this another pepper started to grow inside so weird bell pepper is always so good just some nice pepper chunks and these boys all right let's try a piece definitely has some heat to it not too bad but it should add a nice amount of heat to uh just the sauce overall I'm hoping add in these I'm going to go ahead and add some olive oil just throw in some of this basil and let's add one of these salt packets all right got kind of the base of the sauce without the tomatoes in here and I want to cook this stuff up and in order to do that brought myself my little electric hot plate I think a 800 watt or 750 W Hot Plate got a 800 W inverter it runs beautifully off of here plug into our power supply yeah I don't know if you can see but it's drawing right around like 730 WTS and I have this thing right on full blast right now starting to smell delicious in here I think it's about time to add in our tomato sauce and yeah I brought a can opener these are some crushed fire roasted tomatoes oh it's going to be so delicious I need a bigger thing to mix it I might as well add in my can of salmon honestly this canned salmon is fantastic and putting it in pasta I'm telling you give it a try get this heated up and break down in there and it looks like the sun is starting to poke out again coming a really nice day maybe we'll try a little bit more fishing later all right our sauce is sufficiently warm I'm just going to go ahead and place it on this wood it shouldn't have a problem it's time to boil some water there we go it's fun just coming out here and just like making some good food in the camper this thing's a blast the good thing about the sun coming back out is I'm sure my solar panels are helping run the stove a little bit probably like I don't know 100 watts of the stove or something like that which is pretty nice cooking everything on this stove right here it's acting as a little bit of a heater it's definitely warming it up in here a little bit it's like 58 outside and like 79 in here so it is a bit warm in here but it's not too bad to be honest I I haven't even wanted to turn on my fan yet but I still have it here and I've been keeping the windows open just to have some nice cross Breeze through it and we might be getting some more rain uh maybe in a couple hours I'm not sure but right now it's absolutely beautiful out all right I think our water is warm enough where I feel comfortable putting in the noodles the [Music] spaghetti still going to take a little bit of time we're getting real close now and we can strain it out all right the moment of pasta I got to mix it up with my spoon oh it's going to be hard to mix this it's like mixing with a small bowl it's just not good and it turns out these like modular kind of utensils that I have I also have a spatula one and the little connector kind of looks like a fork so I'm just going to go ahead and use this as my Fork instead of using a this little M spoon cuz I don't have a fork how am I supposed to eat this I'm super happy with this this looks amazing some nice fresh fresh warm spaghetti just hanging out in the camper in my little makeshift Fork I mean hey you can twirl it up a bit that is good it's got some nice kick to it as well those little bits of habanero this is the most jankiest Fork I've ever used just eating some delicious spaghetti got the Sun out there a little bit again it's a beautiful day I hear birds chirping fantastic I ended up bringing a poncho today because I wasn't sure if it was going to be like super storming but the weather's just been kind of all over the place really bright and sunny beautiful then Super cloudy then rainy just kind of flip-flopping it's always good to take a little break every once in a while a pasta break m all right cleaned up my dinner you can see my table now has some nice red pasta stains all over it I even had to wipe some off of the vinyl I guess I made a bit of a mess and if we check on the battery status uh we're at 86% battery so we used right around 10% of the battery cooking dinner 10% is really not that bad for how much power this thing was drawing now it's just time to enjoy the night I really like having the clear roof part it's funny it's just like uh table vinyl protector I mean the stuff's thick and like heavy duty but you don't really think of it using it as a window I just thought it would be perfect for it using things in different ways I love it and the temperature it's like uh 60 outside and like 75 in here so it's definitely dropped some degrees after I stopped cooking everything definitely heated up because of that I think it's time to step outside a little bit of fresh air got the solar panels on the roof I picked these ones just because they're super lightweight and thin got the vinyl windows it's so much fun nice and cool out right now got all these birds all around definitely looks like we're going to be getting some more rain from over here hard of me wants to try to go fishing but I think it'd be a bad choice cuz I think it's going to start uh raining probably any second it got pretty dark out over there and a little bit Breezy but we got the camper right here so when the rain starts coming I'll just be able to jump inside you got all these little holes something's digging all these holes and we also got uh some nice deer tracks right next to the camper so we might have some visitors tonight I did set up a little security camera there so if anything comes by we'll definitely see it I think it's time to head back in the camper for starts raining nasty l starting to get a bit dark outside I think it's time to go around and turn on all the main lights and those are bright cool thing about these you can spin them have them bounce off the ceiling and they also got these lights get this place nice and lit up here beautiful I like it when the lights kind of bounce off the ceiling gives it a nice warm color in here I think there's about like an hour left of sunlight and I got something pretty cool planned for later and that involves the yellow case and I'm pretty excited about busting this thing out later I want a little bit of a sweet treat right now and I brought myself some uh some hot chocolate I think that this little water boiler this little teapot thing is just so cool I think I like it better than the stove I brought I should honestly look into cooking pasta inside this thing like maybe macaroni meals or something it's just like super calm outside right now can hear the water already starting to Bubble oh wow I just realized the stove legs scratched up the bottom of the table a bit I mean it's really just like a piece of wood that's interesting looks like a marker it's kind of wild how this thing's just like made out of silicone like it's squishy but man it gets so hot yeah for boiling water this thing is the way to to go right up to the top oh it's so sweet I just wanted this video to be a super relaxing video just driving out the camper doing some fishing we got some nice fish as well which is cool and I thought it was some pretty cool shots of actually putting uh the camera under water that was the first time I ever dunked my tripod underwater I literally just set up my tripod and plunged it underwater and just went fishing which was an interesting experience but it was cool I cut that pretty big uh bass on camera and I I did enjoy that but yeah I just wanted this to be a super relaxing fun video of just enjoying the night in the little camper and I truly hope you're enjoying this adventure and journey with me as well cheers all right so uh I did see some lightning over there and I heard a little bit of thunder and we're getting a little drip drops of rain something we don't have to worry about is we're not going to lose power because uh we have our own system on us which is pretty cool I think I'm going to go ahead and close up these windows just in preparation I think it's going to storm for maybe like an hour then take a break and maybe another hour and then I think it's just going to be clear for the night nothing too crazy oh my definitely some rain coming over there honestly it's kind of creepy just seeing that with like this giant clear dome in front of me kind of creepy yeah [Music] o here some of the rain out [Applause] now definitely a bit windy out there I think this is the worst of it right now but the sun's absolutely beautiful over there I think it seems to be clearing up out there looks a little bit lighter that was just getting dark outside but no it's just dark from the storm I think most of the storm is over I think it's time to bring out the yellow box taada seems like it's starting to rain harder again anyways if you saw the last video I made you know what this is but if you haven't this is actually a portable PlayStation 5 I threw a PlayStation 5 in the screen in this box and uh we can play some games on it there we go let's have some fun I've been spending a lot of time playing Fallout 4 and this I think I want to play something a little bit more casual this is honestly such a fun little game I thought it'd be a perfect thing to bring camping just something to do at night when you're just stuck in the rain something cool about the battery I used inside the portable PS5 I can connect it up to my phone and I can view the percentages so right now we're at 93% we're pulling around 230 watts to play this game and we can get a good idea of how long we can play on this just a cool thing about it cool little feature [Music] perfect I also got this game called viewfinder this game just a really unique puzzle game where you use like cameras and like pictures to kind of Traverse the world you can just literally take a photograph and just pop it into reality and just walk into it and I just think that is such a cool idea that's so cool it seems that all of the rain and everything finally stopped outside it seems awfully quiet out there and it's awfully dark as well yeah no more rain just darkness and dampness going to go ahead and close this thing up doesn't feel too hot in here to be honest it's 53 outside 75 in here not bad at all feels pretty good just playing some PS5 honestly it's a wonderful end to the day oh wow Like a Dungeon Crawler oh I love this too cool too cool this is a fantastic game you'll hear tiny little Pitter patters of rain out there guess it's not completely stopped I probably played for like about an hour maybe a little more a little less I wasn't paying attention too much 84% battery left on the portable PS5 so just gives you an idea how long you can use that for but for now I think it's time for one fin the little treat for the end of the night and this time I brought something a little different brought myself a mango mangoes are fantastic they're nice and sweet and they're good to eat so let's eat a mango and mangoes have a pretty big pit or piff or I don't even know what you want to call it and I usually use a bigger knife than this thing it's a little bit green but it's fantastic and then they cut these middle parts is probably my favorite I like to take them and carefully just kind of cut slits down the center and cut them the other way to make like a grid pattern yeah you can kind of hear how this needs to be a little bit riper and I don't want to cut through the skin on the bottom I just want to cut through like the meat then you can just take it and kind of invert it and you have this really cool like uh thing you can just eat off of it's like mango cubes delicious can't go wrong with mango that was a nice little snack but I am getting tired it's been a long day a wonderful day had a lot of fun caught some cool fish and we survived a little thunder storm in the camper and I think it's time to set up our sleeping situation got my comfy sleeping bag got more than enough room got my pillow I don't know if you can hear it but it looks like the rain picked up again it's just Pitter padding on the roof and I think the sound of rain's going to help me fall asleep tonight so get some good sleep and I'll see yall in the morning good morning it's super CA right now there's a little bit of moisture on the Roof oh it's actually on the outside there's like no moisture inside today no more storms no more wind no more rain just a bright sunny morning it's beautiful out 52 outside 60° in here get some Breeze in here something I did find out last night even though I like wash my hands a few times I must have still had like a habanero on them and I was like rubbing my eyes at one point and then my eyes just started burning so bad so that was something I have to be aware of more in the future but I thought I cleaned them a few times so what can you do but yeah I had burning eyes in the middle of the night from uh handling those Peppers yesterday totally worth it though it was a delicious meal yeah I think it's time to wake up a little bit in order to do that got my myself my little mug I also have a little kind of drip coffee machine I got some coffee and we're going to boil some water and our little uh little portable teapot thing well that's come into a boil take some of this coffee dump it all around there I think this thing is boiling already yeah wow little bit of fresh coffee on this fine morning pour it all around in these grinds let it do its thing thing smells good in here already we're going to let our coffee just kind of drip through there and in the meantime brought myself a little frying pan got my little stove and we're going to make some pancakes it's been a while since I made some pancakes so let's make some delicious breakfast pancakes I accidentally brought the wrong measuring cup so I'm going to kind of have to wing it hopefully it doesn't come out too runny or anything waking up in this weather is so nice when camping it's like perfect weather it's looking good and our coffee almost done just a couple more drips left and I brought myself some nice fresh honey as well going add a touch of oil to the pan let's Heat this thing up all righty let's try this coffee the coffee is surprisingly strong from that little drip maker it's good though nothing like making some fresh Pancakes on this beautiful morning and it's really nice out I'm thinking probably on the drive back I'll probably stop at that same Dock and try to do a little bit more fishing it's time to flip number one I don't know if you can see it but in that tree right there there's the tiniest little yellow bird that was cool one down the first one's always a little bit less desirable this is going to be a good pancake much better love me some pancakes so good it's funny it's already starting to warm up in here having uh the little stove on 68 in here already and 56 outside maybe it's just the sun I'm not sure but I think this is warming it up too oh yes now this is a pancake I'm hopeful to catch another fish today after breakfast if possible definitely want to try it nothing like a good pancake flip this has been a fun wonderful little Adventure I'm always going to love this view just these giant Windows cooking breakfast cooking all these Foods it's pretty sweet the last cake now this is the most perfect stack of pancakes it's like the first time the honey hasn't been like Frozen in a while since I forgot my forks I have to eat these panc pancakes with a spoon which will be a first for me these are fantastic this is like a perfect morning it's like beautiful out you got the sun I hear birds all around it's like a perfect temperature eating some warm pancakes in a little camper doesn't get better than this this is fantastic these pancakes are just disappearing I'm curious if anything walked by in the security camera last night I know it was pretty windy and rainy so I don't really know if anything came out but it'll be interesting to see if anything was there the camera ended up capturing just a whole bunch of lightning throughout the night it also captured the occasional flyby from a bug and at one point it must have ended up being like super windy cuz it ended up knocking the camera over on its side which I thought was kind of funny and then in the morning we had a couple visits from some birds just to see how we were doing the last bite oh I don't know I think I like pancakes better than waffles maybe it's just a nostalgic thing but they are so tasty and with honey perfect breakfast was fantastic kind of finished cleaning up uh the kitchen area washed some of the stuff in the lake now I just just want to kind of fold up my sleeping bag and put things back so I can begin to drive on back and do a little bit of fishing at that dock all right got Camp all packed up everything's kind of tucked away in the walls got my sleeping bag hanging everything in the right place it's time to head on back the big old controls let's go all right check out this guy pretty cool got the lucky worm back at the dock maybe we'll get a lucky fish nice see you later oh my goodness look at this thing holy moly I don't know if I've ever seen one this big got to be careful about these guys spines all right
