weekend for a race here in Perth that being said oh yeah you get the point you need for qualifying well you get the point you need for racing well and finish it up front but then of course you get penalized for being that talented and you get pushed up which the back of the packet is always a full inversion his stadium super trucks are faster competitors in the rear claws slower competitors in the front and as you just went through the grid that's why you see the top stars are in super trucks all the way the back of the pack except for one difference with Greg Gardner the gondola put back Ford not having a complete truck yeah out there yesterday and the race and the VTOL don't behave themselves with a little bit of spark spare parts inventory delay straps to carry and he's been put to the rear of the field there was talk about him going to his original grid spydra's gone to the back it doesn't really matter because the competition caution to come up at which these two in this race own extended race to 14 laps there we've had that much fun we'll be able to Lance and Bill Hines early jump I was even ready for it there's high jump up in going the exes start on Robinson and only two drivers that are using that today both him and dr. seem to get the power of the ground off in the week this become a new Tegan contained but it comes to rob a lot more time on the dirt in the right way of course we look back to Travis Melbourne he said to me just before the race I just need more seat time I need to get a handle these trucks this weekend has been the turning point for his career he's been the solo driver five is that he precious Robby Gordon look at these guys you stacked right up on one another look at the dude taking it differently go to the outside hit it work for I don't think so because right now Gavin Harlan in the world fertile number 55 we've seen him running really really well this weekend see him taking advantage and overtaking the dude but how about Bill Hines bill Hines now 3 of 14 into it he's no bleeding let's tickle rightly I know it goes off another body goes off right there I believe that might be Sean Richardson's mana goes flying he's sitting at some heavy which means they're not gonna pass them in the air if he keeps doing that so being smart about it he's not walking he's just running his line and racing dogs assistant hood has now been said it's a three hundred paces on pit straight on board with Cole Morris continues he's charged through the field he's up to eighth place now nowhere to go between he Dantas and Gavin Harlan up to the top of turn number four expect the competition caution anytime soon and we'll need that sticky they're gonna need that comp cause of it they're just all stacked right off my top one another here did you see you go and we should be seeing that compulsion soon we are right now on for wild reason these guys are so packed together behind still [Applause] show me in that race they kind of went backwards a little bit lucky we haven't seen this yet Robby Gordon the outside we have not seen a patch on the outside on turn 7 [Music] common and slow motion DOCSIS wasn't sure should he go around her after he hit the rim could make the decision goes right up the middle it's a two wheel pill off into the grass not too wild of a crash but definitely you can see he was making trying to decide what was gonna happen as he goes end over end wild ride there for dodges shoot you could almost see him going what am I gonna hit the jump should I not hit the jump and then then that seemed as though right at the very end he wasn't able to make a quick enough decision and so though wild right you see him out right there most likely you see him out going absolutely crazy couldn't quite make the decision on to go around the ramp should hit the ramp and then obviously the talent bearing and the steering column got blown out and he went right up the middle of it and he went hand over in their best friends anymore and fair to say he jumps out so race three has claimed him again for his second round in succession the same thing happened in Adelaide this year and now the Shannons insurance entry here's the replay so as he comes through artists compete miss two wheels and that was enough I thought that was going to go in for m4n but it stopped pretty quickly we remind before about how well these trucks are billed they're very robust this wilhelmus this replay side by side with Paul Morris on the edge of the final turn but the first one I came in no room for this second on the last minute turn back in and that was enough I think he just that he wasn't gonna be getting on for on the jump but at that time I think a violent move of yanking the wheel would not be the hot set up for him see right there he got on the binders a little bit slowed it down that did help man luckily throw the truck went over and landed on what would be considered on the passenger side that's not where the driver is so we see him uh-oh he's like oh I am up the creek without a paddle you see him roll over and onto the roof there looked like he got out without a problem he says you know what goodnight Perth I'm gonna call it up and call it a day don't make that one call it's over done with his wild ride and it's all the time at the Adelaide 500 feet back home and this trucks been around a lot of local businesses and shopping malls over and Adelaide and lead-up to this event had some great support but now good car goes back to the pits and a lot of work for that team to do just doing Australian rounds at the moment there was talk about even possibly doing some American races but that might change as that year goes on and then one of our crew guys gets the moment of glory to take the truck back into the pits that is our best one the crew guys anyone that is Chris Mingo yeah it's the most luckiest customer of the day here driving off to the truck for that is Chris Ming gay Matt Ming gays actually older brother they are with the stunts Inc hot wheel Castrol Edge team we don't see them here this weekend but we see that SST truck racing with us in the past with Matt bengay that is his brother Christian he is on our roll over team as they get that truck cleared and ready you know Dantas he a Craig got this he actually is one of the main reasons super truck is all in Australia Craig Dantas it was a big part of that with Nathan Kaiser I'm coming over the long beach years ago and bringing us along here so here is a replay of the deville best driver the number 83 head strong KMC wheel Hawk truck of Matt Ibrahim he gets off trying to hold it together try not to make any violent moves on the steering wheel there because it could really bring the rear end around in that dirt cause something gnarly but uh they are packing them back up and get ready to go we got hoods and bonnets all over the track right now maybe a little bit of dirt Krantz is gonna sit across load the racing line Creek just kidding he's just got to run it over just because he was bored from and he's like we gotta go green just like that it's suddenly now Gordon and Creed who could take the round when they're tied on points the moment second and third for the overall point score of the weekend we go back to green to score his first race win in the spirit II study of super trucks here in perhaps the Hines right so well he's shown and more don't wanna hear that he had the speed to win now he's back out front he's just got a steak [Music] behinds can do right now it's just run his own race and hold them high at our dream hey Gordon slow each other up with this battle down to the short core section if you caught it shorter courses tracks fall enough as it is these guys to the infield section of the crust to the right hand which punches downhill you'd love the seat bill Hinds get a win because he's been on the first or second most stars out of everyone in stadium super trucks one podium two years ago in Parramatta at Sydney Speedway and he's due for another one in front of us so Melbourne has been dispatched this time and the true fuel fifty to one ratio truck is on its side I think we've seen more roll overs this weekend that we have any other single week in a race and those guys are really having trouble keeping it on all fours as we see I don't know exactly how that happened it looked as though Maddy breves may have been involved or maybe he was just trying to dodge the problem but we do know we got the true fuel number 52 one of Travis Milburn he has rolled over and it was hard to see just how wild that ride is I'm sure we'll be getting another look at it here shortly but it's the race as he's okay he's fine yeah so they're gonna roll it back over he wants to go racing now in super trucks you know unlike any other form of race and a lot of times are like hey man I'm good these trucks are strong they leave the driver right in there and roll it over now we mentioned yesterday we really need put an ad in the paper to get more people and we're not yeah yeah it worked I put an ad in the local Perth Times yesterday for a few more people on the rollover team and then end up handing out his mobile cards back in on all fours and ready to rock and roll Christian mingle busy busy I get to one truck back and he's back on the scene here cuz it just clears itself in front will that true fuel blowing out the exhaust pipes he joins a circuit on that truck as well here's a replay everything's looking good he's almost the Alltech maybe oh there was some contact big contact in between Brabham and no burn we get a different angle of it here you see them over in front of Ravel they got hooked together he's connected to the bar on the back of the front bumper of the deville this driver [Applause] over oh boy wild ride right there you know so once again I don't think that was really anyone's fault that was racing their bumpers got hooked and ended up Brad system able to go to the inside got hooked to the back of a Millburn they saw how smooth off the ramps are I bet you Brabham was on the brake trying to slow the roll get disconnected and that was that was no one at all right there that just say god that's a new one we haven't seen that in almost five full seasons seeing a super truck racing we haven't seen a bumper on bumper hitch as the two of them hooked together and pulled over that jump in concert quite a rack there but high running well Yanks a star a little bit here tides jumping start a little bit nothing illegal but able to a little bit of a lead on Gordon meanwhile in the back we see Gardner Brattle they're making their way up through Millburn he's still hanging in there now we still should we may have another cop caution yet it might not be over they may pack them back up again but we now we're sitting up a go 14 laps Ezzor back on board with Robby Gordon looking back at Shelby Creed Gordon to the defensive that little right hander where the calm caution would come out later in this race and now he said the door open enough seldom creed Higgins snow they can place but has the bull bar is he has the quickest switch back you've never seen and now he's got the run I love to race together oh no don't do it they're going for a two-for-one high knees on the skin that's a two-for-one [Applause] these guys are most likely going to check out as you see back there creaking the creeps giving the all Houdini doing the night you see me now you know another right to the left we've it is magic while I'm not implement a stick has welcome sneak to the inside of Bill Hynes tights out back in p3 you see we're back on board with Robby Gordon good look right there up Creed and here it is door to the inside that dude Paul Morris he brings her around on board with the dude right here remember these two had a bit of a moment yesterday when the rates come out of a bomb but there was a bit was a bit of a bump there and as the dude you know he's running it so hard the things on the ragged edge of spinning out has eight kids didn't take much along to bring that truck around so dude now it's gonna be overly stoked dude the Wrangler may possibly get together have some words and Richardson later on at half the race is over turned down on the Toyo tires ramp Gordon in second place green out in front that is bad news for Gordon and the nude point-wise for this weekend they seize the battle to the overall round now have greatest go to bud two points at the moment and you can just bet the grubby going once that race wins they go past the pact stands here at barbegal at Raceway what's the landing for the speed and a jeep toyota ties it came Seward's entry coming down off this round this will be really cold he sets it down that was absolutely often it is like an old-school dirtbike turn down right there whipping that truck hard not on purpose but able to just stay calm and stop the landing lookit he wants to be on the inside here so what you do cheat the system a little bit get over in the dirt got that turn almost turn five completely offs we could get the angle he needed and turned six as they hit the big ski jump coming down the hill there now does he have the speed to Hegewisch of the grease yeah he certainly does doubt Robby Gordon does what does he have it [Music] it's tough it looks like the white flag is out I can see off the distance the white flag is out so one lap left to go keep mine folks this is Stefan with 14 laps according to town caution or a 20 minute time period whatever comes first due to the accidents we've had that we're starting to run down and do it by time so you see right now on board looking out the front of Robby Gordon's number seven speed energy Toyo tire KMC wheel truck as he puts his sights on that safe craft safety equipment no she's a cream bush this is enough this is enough robby gordon sneaking points as well as race the safe craft safety equipment entry picks up the win by 23 thousands of a second it's been confirmed on how screens now this will look call this the site on view coming to the end and out of nowhere the showstopper ends the party right there what just some amazing racing now talk about lena not each other no one can lean on each other like these guys do we've seen some wild battles in between shell decreed and robby gordon and other drivers but the two of them together is just a package for let's call it slightly controlled chaos its success all at once right there look at these guys and they're gonna need to know their bodies and shelter the creed he's been taken under robby gordon swing a couple years ago he's been racing a car and all kinds of things and they're looking at they are just gross and having a good time gavin table in the background just watching we just find out taking some Instagram pics Pat's cell degrade the second closest finish in history gets the job done here today in Western Australia they promised and they to live and I'm sure we'll see them back in W a cradle get the points win for the weekend Gordon second Bradman fern and Morris are those guys stay good on the points shipping up for the top

Stadium Super Trucks is amazing, I don't know why it doesn't have a big following in the US. It's got trucks, doglegs, rollovers and jumps!

Its the favourite motorsport in our [uk] household after finding it a year or so ago; makes F1 look like a parade.

Balls to the walls racing, a regroup half way through the race, reversed grids for the second race, real characters, showmanship, crashes, close finishes, and occasional miracles like finishing by spinning out, smashing off a wheel, and crossing the line in reverse.

Amazing.

Jesus Christ, this is fantastic. That camera mounted on the ramp (along with the mandatory jumping!) is maybe the best invention in motorsport.

I play dirt 4 because it’s one of the only racing games for Mac OSX. the stadium trucks are fun as fuck. I play them 90% of the time.

Something I didn't know until I saw them race out at Circuit of the Americas is how small they are!

I'd always assumed they were the size of Trophy Trucks. They look about the same. But no, they're probably shorter in height than you are and closer to the size of a first-gen Miata.

They're tiny little things with big monster engines and I want one now so bad. They look like so much fun.
