all right so just finished a full EGR delete with the 4-inch straight pipe no muffler install on 2015 f350 6.7 liter hood still up grill still off because I'm waiting on an air intake cold air and tape come-come today hopefully did a couple of things this is not a before after nor is it a step-by-step but giving it to 2015 about 2:14 I use a an 11 to 14 EGR delete kit and bought a Ford OEM heater hose to do some of the which comes with us some of the new 15 kits separate and here is what I learned gonna show you real quick how to take the grill off and we'll go from there is pretty simple you got your standard bolts across the top you got these tabs here there's gonna be metal ones a little like they connect here but you want to go for these and pop your hood off next thing you want to do I get this passenger side light off you know the bolts there's one give me one down here right there for those of you don't know out comes a light undo all the Clinton duh set your things or clamps plugs whatever and you're good to go did that and so the first little curveball was this bracket here told to grill I could not get to this clamp and this clamp is what comes in your kit and connects to this top of your radiator here and you know I've seen some where you just keep the one on the factory the hardline and kind of runs this way but I'm trying to make it as clean as possible so took it off took this off and the reason once you got 1313 and then right here's the 10 the 10 was kind of hard to get to you kind of barely touch up a dry I'm on your socket and you should be able to get it it's not you can see there it's not in super super tight so she'll be able to get it with a 10 millimeter deep socket ratchet so I did so pull this back I was ever to get the clamp off of the factory one to pull it out and then put on this new one and I'm sure before you do all this everyone knows to drain the radiator disconnect your batteries and you know let her do that open up your radiator cap turn your radiator open up here reservoir over there and it should fall out there's a I did it like I saw where I drained the secondary they're not over on the petcock on this side is too hard to open up so I just drained that guy right there use the petcock on this side somewhere so alright so because I'm not doing the before-and-after I'm just going to tell you what I learned follow the steps that you print off I'm going to tell you a few things that I ran into during the process so once you connect your your bypass here I got a zip tied to another coolant line and once you do that you're gonna start taking off you know separate the T from the EGR cooler this T is one of the one of the issues that we ran into is going to connect to just off the EGR this thing and real quick so it's gonna come off of this guy here and you're gonna that T is going to be set apart you can I did it so the next thing you want to do let's take that Barb and splice these two together I had some two small clamps and use those to put together and then it kind of just dangled well then you do your undo the PCM take that out might as well when you're doing this not all pretty but take these ten millimeter ten millimeter nuts take those out and pull out this little bracket here it's connected to there's a little plastic thing there's three you pull that out and finagle this bracket out because you're gonna need it to get to bolt right there okay so going about finishing doing all the board following steps I didn't have any trouble with this with this one back here the one everybody has trouble ooh the bolts breaking because I diligently prepared by squirting PB Blaster spraying PB Blaster just own it often engine was hot come home from work and go ahead and pop the hood put the glass troll not just doubt one but I'd put them on this one up here off the manifold and anywhere there were bolts the ones that were on here - I just kind of sprayed it pretty regularly leading up to another day it was it was several days of just and letting it soak and then because I did not want to have to tack those screws all right so you go follow the steps all the processes put the barb there and that's not going to be there yet you need of that and then you start undoing all the brackets and so forth so on and so forth what so as you're going about this you're unplugging the orange and you've got your vacuum sealed up zip-tied as you're doing all this there's this this presents a little bit of a problem because there's two brackets here and is zip tied into that thing and I had to get us some box cutters and snip it to get to where I could access everything easier and I made I made that part so that was a little bit as I mentioned before so then you take off your one two three so on and so forth back there what threw me for a curveball though there's a couple things I'm taking it off this one back here that guy has a 415 at least has a bracket on it and the bracket is sandwiched between a 12 millimeter bolt on the bottom and a 10 millimeter bolt on top so between getting that off you have to definitely need a wobble socket definitely need to evolve a socket and some deep sockets in order to get that off but so you're gonna have those two things two millimeter socket which is different than the eight millimeters kind of throughout the rest of the rest of the ECR but ten millimeter and the twelve millimeter to get that off and them at least somebody they were only pretty good so you're gonna have to get leverage and hold it snug and pull it off so anyway that was that was different that I didn't say that in other videos before but anyway I wanted to make you guys aware everything else though is pretty easy removing this bracket the PCM bracket allows you to get to that one pretty easily and then just everything else comes up what I didn't realize and this is what what got me so you've seen there probably videos out there where you know yours comes with a factory hose that sits here and you know there's there's where your the ones we splice together they come here the woman from the on the factory fits the same goes the same direction back underneath here there but there's no quick connect so it doesn't look like this there's another one on there that does but I couldn't figure out how to remove it and so I'm all about saving money so I was just gonna see him back the hoes if I could figure out how to how to make it work but I couldn't alright so this runs back behind there and goes down you can kind of see the shiny braids maybe it goes I could not disconnect these tabs from where this runs at a ninety degree angle into the firewall yes just like that ninety degree angle I couldn't do it I cannot fit it it was way too hard so I ended up having to remove the fender protection because it is right there it's like right up in there and once you do that again you might have to have a screwdriver but I had to use a screwdriver or if you have the hose just break it and once you do once that comes off you're able to take off the factory the one that comes from the factory and put on this new one which also is is it tied up they're somewhere yeah sorry for the bad light but that's that's it and once that goes on you're able because it has the right connections you're able to connect it here and then you're able to connect the the one that you splice to the top so that coolant is now just recirculating in the engine and not not a 3d EGR or anything like that so those are the big things taking that factory hose off from the firewall was a bit of a challenge and again it was not a hose available to I didn't have a connector available to to get that straightened so I had to use the one that I bought just I can't remember what it is questions I can answer them in comments and then waiting on the cold air intake and last but not least me and my my buddy that helped me we put in this intercooler pipe here which was a beast so tight the power steering reservoir is not it was bolted in but is not how it was and went in you can see I get is this thing it fit but god it was not fun not fun at all but I hear these things eventually will blow if you delete it I'm not gonna run it hard but I didn't want to take any chances see I got my sensor thing up top to take the factory off its back here somewhere look put that on all these connectors would go back as a staging woman cold there so these connectors would go back on that plastic thing that sits right there and so my friend that helped me real quick he said everything went pretty straight forward on the straight pipe busted his knuckles feet on but the thing he did point out as he was changing this he's kind of going down to the sensors he said this one when the DF comes in was a monster and he ended up I think having to break the sensor I appreciated his help so I'm not complaining but I think you just had the tab but it might be hard to get up there I don't know I'm okay with it so anyway other than that he says a piece of cake straight pipe I got it's pretty well although this part here he goes around their rear axle was a lot higher so we had to cut a piece of pipe to keep it off the bottom of the cylinder side of the bed chimney from but anyway that was that and took us some time he yeah get the bolts back bolted back to the to the turbo pack to the turbo pipe but again he was pretty handy so anyway twelve minutes video I just didn't wanted to put this out there because I have not seen one for a 15 with using all the components and then I certainly do not have anyone saying about this Factory the factory fitting they're not working or you might have to cut it I don't know you know it's just more than figured out but since I had got found one for himself for pretty cheap that's how I got to it through the fender taking off that protector and get to it and bring it in then splicing it splicing in there that's pretty good yes hurry up with cold air intake would be all set no I think I'm done and also I put my tunes on the truck before I started this I went ahead and loaded up with easy link and put my tunes in before so once all this kind of stuff may be added to cool it back and once we got all that going I I wanted to have two Tunes ready to go over and sitting around waiting on itself anyway that's it hope it helps thank you
