of Missouri taken in the second round Justin Brett he'll see a lot today a von Miller and Marshawn Lynch in that loss last week against San Diego had only six touches for the afternoon they ran only 38 plays getting beat by the Chargers 32 21 in the heat in a play action and question on will city's side steps it and gonna take off and pick up about three well tell you talked about a lot of the changes for Denver prominent ones on this side of the ball Terrance Knighton though he started in the Super Bowl was effective and you think he's a big factor here's today could be Nate Irving at middle linebacker Miller long Miller of course was out with a needed not playing I came to leap sign in the offseason back that entire secondary for the Broncos now the single an item is a starter or his offensive line and he needs to do it again here today and night and gets into his stance number 298 as they see the oceans pass behind his target flinch and a three and out to open for Seattle yeah good job of this Denver defense they think hey we got more speed on the defensive side which they do but it's not about all they did it just for this football team is Jack Del Rio reminded me quite sternly look if you want to be a good defense in the NFL you've got to be fast and we saw it even there at the beginning faster containing Russell Wilson and getting to these receivers John Ryan to punt in his seventh year for the Seahawks looky at a Fresno State Isaiah verse verse backpedals FairTax 14 yard line now how will this Denver offense begin it was such a disaster from the very first map back in new jersey bill yeah well it's right from beginning just the communication and I think too they got caught by the crowd noise in that Super Bowl didn't expect the Seahawk fans to be so loud they could have affected that opening play we'll be loud here today Jim the communication is a big deal for this raucous offense after a 61 yard punt Denver's first snap from the 14 with two tight ends and up the middle they go man sneak into your little hole is Monta Paul de Paul came out the ball came up both chuckles on the very first play and Seattle has recovery recovered by KJ right now once again Denver with a first snap disaster looked like a perfect start a three and out how about that blocking up front in Earl Thomas pulls the football out that's another thing the Seahawk defense did not do last week they didn't swarm the football and when you swarm it three guys there you start reaching for it and trying to pull it out what a job by Earl Tom the very first giveaway by the Broncos here early in the season after to clean games and you know to the blocking up front that time Manny Ramirez Vasquez Franklin really kind of cross block to the inside and a clean run by Monta ball until he fumbled of course so Seattle we'll take over at the 23 damn Chancellor and Earl Thomas method of them went the middle of that script Lynch the ship back behind Wilson and again with us and looking Pass it's [Applause] the helmet flying off by the defender Wilson holds on a play that went for a touchdown today in Cincinnati for Andy Dalton but in this case 17 for Seattle going this way somebody's got to stay outside to contain Russell Wilson to fake the reverse and nobody sees him good job by curse and how about the old baseball player knows to look it in and is able to protect himself as Raheem lore comes over we saw that in practice it worked almost identically identical to what we just saw there Jim first and goal from the 6 and it takes three Broncos to finally finish him off after a gain of three that's the way to say it it takes multiple guys to bring down Marshawn Lynch it's I saw it so much in the early games today broken tackles running backs but he's quick of course powerful gets outside and what it Nader been saying when you tackling try to grab him and hope for people to help you bring him down I don't know what the deal is with Raheem mores helmet but it came off for a second straight play find a cash-in off the Monta fat fumble second and goal [Applause] Ramzi Brobee gets into the tackle good job but DeMarcus Ware cuts him back inside about droning over the replay but I don't think that would be a winnable challenge I do not I think his name was down before he got to the goal line and it's so close he cares got that flag in his hands he not baguettes the mail when the coaches upstairs who puts it back in his pocket third and goal inside the one and then help from others and the Broncos defense is able to make a stand on a loss of one a lot of good start stuff at the start you got to kick this field goal Seattle does but Nate Irving gets in there listen week one I said boy Nate you were great he goes off is just ok made some mistakes his standards are high but what a run stopping linebacker what a job of his Denver defense in the first two series Nader Irving an old Russell Wilson teammate at North Carolina and Lipson possessions and the car is dropped by Demaryius Thomas this is what happened to him week 1 on his first target he tried to go north south before he secured the football and it ended up being a very off game as he couldn't let go of that opening drop in the victory against the Colts rebounded last week with a touchdown well receivers can always feel the presence around them the but that was a tight window and a terrific drive drive that time by the Broncos so McManus will be out for a 24 yard field goal attempt two for two on the season first year kicked her out a temple he hear go all we're going to find a way to get that big play and score because the longer you the greater chance that defensive pass loss has of getting there and changing this game allowed and then we talked to the Broncos last night they just kept talking about positive plays we don't care if it's a yard we just can't afford negative plays which they very nearly got right there no gain for ball patience that's the word patience and I know these outside draw and that's the second time they've done the stretch once to the right once to the left and both fail final seconds of the first quarter number 24 now has as many carries chips as he did all the last Sunday and has pretty well covered up by the Broncos defense holds him to four Broncos defense the last couple of weeks after big leagues concussion-like symptoms he's taken in for evaluation right now his return is questionable Jim that's a kind of key here because they talked about one to go to tight ends most of the day yes well they you know your first play in their gym you got to get loose got to get a hit to get involved in the game you get a blitz from the outside usually running backs get the Blitzers from inside so they can score up when outside much harder to block them and a loss of ten third and twenty second sack already for the Broncos and they're looking for another one and Wilson [Applause] to catch at the 41 showed of the ferns got welcome need at 20 they got 14 good job out the defense my gosh they're containing Russell Wilson into pocket Baldwin's not even looking for the football what a throw by Russell Wilson with Pete Carroll he knows the deal too no gambling and a game like this takes it to the ground feet were in and they brought out John Ryan from fourth and six [Applause] remember you got a rookie back there inside the temple - foolish [Applause] that's cleanly at the six could kicked by Ryan 235 yards but it bends them inside the 10 Denver comes out shotgun formation and they run it ball was tackled by Marsh for no gain the last September loss we were there Phil was in Denver Houston beat him but seven wins since averaging nearly 40 points a game that 58.7 that's about what they averaged last year second best season average they had scoring-wise all-time to the 1950 second and ten sketch of the season that's Wes Welker well you know one of the reasons why they're so good Wolfson well guys Demaryius Thomas just came off the field in a lot of pain he's been struggling with that left foot we saw it last week in pregame when he heard that they massage tit to be real bothersome Vernon took off his shoe [Applause] it does not have a catch here through the first quarter that half second and 11 Emmanuel Sanders for another first down that was beautiful it really was the timing once again you can tell this is what they call a tight game plan by the Broncos down below Sanders Maxwell in the coverage he sells him with the head fake and when he turns Manning right on target with the 12 no hesitation when I say a tight game plan not doing a lot the middle mistakes and they could play fast enough to carry by CJ Anderson who's given them some good glimpses early in the season this one a loss of one look the Mary's Thomas back on the field that's a big deal but you can't I know you sitting at home he go oh come on these runs look you got to stay patient the pace of the game if you keep learning the football you sooner or later are going to pop a few these for some good games second and 11 [Applause] game-2 Anderson or Oh Thomas fastest safety in the NFL this is just one of the many reasons why this defense is so good because he can diagnose plays that maybe somebody else would they got there and that would have been a 10 yard game [Applause] nothing saying if you totally they're hoping to make the tackle before you get the first in third and 10 and again and Seahawks are wise to that got a flag out on the far side now that was timing almost looked like it caught Peyton Manning by surprise to snap illegal motion well one thing for the Broncos they did begin this series back at their own seven so field position three three game they're not walking off the field disappointed it's Jim it's almost a victory you walk over there now you're going to change field position and see if the other team's offense can sustain a drive against your defense Britton Colquitt is out for the second time very consistent strong leg knee well this is a heavyweight fight we've got a lot of close rounds [Applause] quit sends a spiral 55 yards in the air turn alters and it's Baro having a big day on special teams this second tackle some guy named barrel yeah like our producer bank with bill Simms and Tracy Wolfson and just a field goal on each side speed and what what do they mean by speed on defense it means a lot but the big thing is can you control russell wilson in the pocket and here's von miller is going to get outside and now when Russell Wilson makes the fake okay as he goes out a von Miller can chase anybody down this league even Russell Wilson so containing the blue passes don't let him get out there run and don't let him it down the field for those big passes it was TJ Ward who held it to a four yard gain and flags out on to leave no no that's gonna be offense okay gotta be to lead you have to know his techniques its Lockett he is terrific when he looks at the quarterback one of the best in the NFL gym and he can do it not from that best position but being off that's very rare at second and 16 may have gotten over the job the field they're as tough as they come and every one of them when they get the ball in their hands they try to act like they're running bags they try to break tackles and run through just be misjudges the ball right at the end and not able to keep his feet underneath there and lock it I talked about these receivers they don't panic there is a toughness about them we saw it last year it's early this year but they're doing it again [Applause] as the longest pass play of this young season for the Seahawks 39 yards [Applause] with his third career touchdown catch in his second of the season you know they covered 73 yards and they got the offense going on that drive boy and was listen they had them backed up second and long the offsides but the screenplay gabled momentum and then they took advantage of it miss Seattle offense Jim they are hot they want to run the ball and when they throw it they're trying to do one thing they are trying to get big yards almost every play they run today Russell Wilson is looking deep before he takes it off or throws a shorter that was a terrific quota block is just ran under maybe get support [Applause] to go back to the endzone fields it Leighton's hit 11 out of 13 for 87 yards six of them to Sanders but he's down seven well between these two quarterbacks 86% they've missed only three passes you could tell Peyton Manning get rid of close it's very close yeah we saw it in slow-motion it always looks like a kitch as he hits the ground it's like boom the football comes out so let's watch at full speed if it's bang bang it's an in the backfield I'd like to hear what the convincing argument that one was to pick up that flag so forth in a yard it's knowing that because of that penalty they lost a half a foot or whatever if it the game where Seattle has intensity for the entire game back on Feb 1 in the second going on to win 43 to aid the up the game in the history of the NFL regular season or post season ever to end on that exact score of 43 to has been interesting from the get-go mouseka he flies at five yards through the back of the endzone and Manning and the Broncos will have to go 80 yards with no timeouts in 59 seconds find the endzone and convert a two-point try to send this game to overtime that's the goal right now going against this defense in this incredible environment here in Seattle well this is a situation for Peyton Manning and he's not afraid that he's not afraid of the numbers you got to take a chance going to two yards over the middle will not work so if you had even a five chance at completing something down the field here go for in a slide left and long trip down to build a palace a to catch it on his back and there was a collision with both Chancellor and burly couple players shaken up I'll tell you they had it Peyton Manning needs what Sanders goes out he sees the quarterback all he's got a little move going a lot of contact with Burley here 28 gets hit by his teammate Seattle just got charged a timeout because a burly's injury and there because the timeout they're going to be able to keep him on the field he's not he's gonna come off no that was a good idea at that time Sanders has run a few outside braking routes and he turned up and he had it if maiming would just put just a touch more throwing that with a little power they're gonna get a first down big game see it with New England so many years Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas that time that was the play selection and designed was unbelievable after reviewing the play ruling on the field let's confirm if the point is good I've got a lot of games here Jim are with Denver Broncos they show this plays that we've never seen I have not seen those of course they haven't been in that situation too often mention I think that library of plays the Broncos have how big it is Percy Harvin elects to take a knee with 18 seconds left in regulation and they just caught up the corners both times followed their receiver inside when they followed inside who's got the receiver that's in that goes up the sideline and man that was pretty he looked it off this is a great design play and boy Manny what patience go over Pete Carroll has not gone over those type of plays with his defense where's a couple of years ago the overtime rules were switched around and Denver played that playoff game against Pittsburgh where they won on the 80 yard pass from Tebow to Demaryius Thomas to get the six on the first possession to close it out but Payton's case in overtime he hasn't won an overtime game actually in ten years back in Oh 4 when the Colts went against San Diego Denver you're still the visitors both team will have two timeouts all replays are upstairs okay both teams will have an opportunity to possess with power and I marvel at that I thought his running against Green Bay opening game was as the difference and why they beat Green Bay here on that Thursday night Denver's defense I believe you play safe here you don't try to pressure don't give up the big play third and three [Applause] when he was trying to beat Nate Irving to the first down marker and he pulls it off you set it down can't lose containment Wolfe goes inside nobody's out there Nate Urban can't chase him down the coverage is good they're trying to a little pick the receiver comes underneath he's got open and Russell Wilson just runs for the first down if you're the edge rusher you gotta at least make him go forward and not outside and again a touchdown would in the game the field goal convert guaranteed in that case a possession - purse they rule in a patch in a game of 12 then he was open the whole time I don't know why Russell Wilson didn't look he was looking back inside but it keep to leave playing very safe and all doesn't want to take a chance and give up the big play [Applause] and Wilson slides to the 44 502 it is amazing early in a year players are now just really rounded into really good game shape Tim but these drives you can see it when you watch the field pass rushers have about three or four explosions enemy and when that's over and you're just trying to hang on out there hard to get to the quarterback when you have to do it time after time [Applause] second there might be another first pitch sake play I'll tell you one good job by Chris Harris because he sailed Seattle receivers are the best blocking well it's one of the two best blocking settled wide receivers in the NFL the other said I'm talking about is with Denver screen plays they are outstanding blockers for the pass catcher [Applause] stifled inside the 30 by Kayvon Webster what do you do Jim you're going to give it to Percy Harvin is it Russell Wilson gonna keep it or Michonne Marshawn Lynch right up the middle a lot to
