I've always felt like this was a huge turning point for the whole program in many ways.
That game was absolutely amazing. I remember my parents being stuck in the snow on I-40 for hours and we just barely made it to the game in time.
You can barely see me holding an orange Power T blanket over the "W" on the walkway in the upper right of this photo.
To my everlasting shame, I turned this game off when they went up by 14. Didn't find out they won until the next morning. Learned my lesson.
Campus was pretty wild after this comeback. Pres court had TP on the trees through the winter if I remember correctly
story time. couldnt make this game for various reasons so i go to a wine festival in downtown franklin. i lament the game getting out of hand everytime i see a TV or check my phone. my friends and family are seeing my dejection and worrying about how often my glass gets refilled. i hunker down at a particularly delish station that also carries sparkling wine/champagne. i spent the last drive and OT there. they just started handing me bottles they knew wouldnt be finished and i half chugged half sprayed main street with champagne as the fest closed down. bottles piling up around me we were asked politely to leave as they wanted to clean up all the vendors but i didnt care, an ORANGE party continued at my familys house down the road. true story.
I love how the stadium was almost empty when overtime started. Classic Cocks.
