[Music] it is a home-field advantage like few others in the NFL where the fans can be deafening as they will be today in their support of their beloved Seattle Seahawks the offs beyond this day with a one game lead on the 49ers and the Cardinals in the NFC West the visiting Tennessee Titans are contenders too they entered week six just a game back of the Colts in the AFC down and with that we welcome you to Seattle hi everyone Greg Gumbel along with my Hall of Fame partner Dan Dierdorf plenty of discussion about the young and talented quarterbacks around the NFL you can't have that discussion without the young and talented quarterback that plays here in Seattle Russell Wilson is his name number three is his number and he is special fights head coach Mike Munchak says if we can't control him we're in trouble well controlling him as easier said than done look at his escape ability coming out of the pocket extending place he's an accurate thrower on the run as well and he's got us strong on this warmer baseball player when he decides to wing it he can let it go look at his breaking out of but this is basically pretty much just a wrist girl and it's right on the money but what he could really do is run he's run for over 230 yards already this season Greg and when Russell Wilson gets outside the pocket heads up field to change Lou this stadium is a tough enough place to play anyway for visitors for the Tennessee Titans going to be even tougher if they can't figure out a way to run against the Seattle be hard to imagine away Tennessee wins without running the football better than they have been and that guy Chris Johnson remember over 2000 yards in oh nine he's averaging only 3.1 a carry a revamped offensive line they need work I want to remind you this game is being broadcast in Spanish we're available using the SAT button on your television the Seattle Seahawks have won the toss they will / which means that they will pick to the Tennessee Titans the Titans three and to the Seahawks four and one and Darius Rae not is feet [Music] [Applause] we're going to see why wouldn't you kick off but this offense get it pace to the twelfth man here in Seattle we are underway right now very key thing depends on who's going to run it out [Applause] just up the quarry it 15 forward to the 17 yard line at quarterback for Tennessee Ryan Fitzpatrick who came on and relief of Jake Walker who went down with a hip injury two weeks ago Fitzpatrick with two touchdown passes two interceptions so far you can crank up the speaker's of practice as loud as you want to it's hard to replicate this Moyes here in Seattle it's almost a physical wave of sounds first jump where to go stopped at the 17 no secret the Titans have had trouble running the ball no secret to pressure is on upfront especially on senator Rob Turner and while they wait for Chris Johnson to come alive with the ground game second year wide receiver Kendall Wright the planning Kenny Britt outside and given the passing game as far it's patroclus I'm going to top it run and he'll get a first down and he slides across the 25 out to about the 27 and a half mainly to 28 yard line Seattle's defense has scores 15 turnovers that's tied for best in the NFL Chris Clemons on the outside with a pair of sacks Seahawks are missing middle linebacker Bobby Wagner with a sprained ankle game day right foods into his spot and an active hard-hitting secondary the most vocal of the group Richard Sherman who has two interceptions one ability returned for a touchdown brian fitzpatrick showing up right away that Russell Wilson isn't the only quarterback on the field with like today lost the handle on the football and fall on the 25-yard line off the high snap well Rob Turner again the center on the shotgun snap bow there's you know it's a little high but I I don't think Ryan Fitzpatrick had to jump off the ground and handle that ball the way he did I I think that was a little bit of an overreaction that that ball was I've seen a lot higher than a field as cleanly second and 13 and subtract explaining the crown Playsafe with time and only through could Johnson out of the backfield well Chris Johnson last week's board on about a yard and a half pass and again I think Tennessee realized that we just got to do all we can do to try to get Chris Johnson the football whether or not it's been a passing game a running game you have got to get this guy unfriend it's Patrick foot passed down take the backboards of 25-yard line another 53 Malcolm Smith making the stuff well Malcolm Smith elevated to a starter this week they're missing Bobby Wagner in the middle KJ right moves inside and this is just a beautiful open field tackle and when you get Johnston running parallel to the line of scrimmage that's exactly what you want him to do that speed does not come into play when he's in evasive maneuvers like that well done by Seattle defensible bold and Cape back to receive the punt Brett thorn will get it away through the 16 in the 40 yard line [Applause] fighting your time cabin and it spun down said about the 30-yard line Russell Wilson will take the field for the first time when we come back to Seattle after this Russell Wilson is the Seattle quarterback 10 wins in 10 career starts here in Seattle you can throw it and he can run it and he is a well rocket ok again we shot good [Music] welcome bro that's complete 35:13 across the 40 string to the 45-yard line is tight in Luke Wilson the rookie out of Rice University the Seahawks have an injury problems on their offensive line they get center max hunger back today he's missed the last two games with a triceps injury and in the backfield one of the most punishing running backs in the NFL Marshawn Lynch and run for three TDs and has one touchdown receiving so far well he mysteriously popped up on their injury report on Friday what Pete Carroll said hey no big deal don't worry he'll be out there out there he is travelled for about a yard across the 45 Tennessee's for 3d fair Sammy Hill the bad ankle Antonio Johnson starts for him at tackle second-year linebacker Zac Brown three sacks in a world of promise in his second season from North Carolina and in the secondary quarterback altar on burner began this day tied for the lead lead interceptions with four Kamerion Wimbley Audrey Wilson time to leave the pocket was going to sack me got a yard on the other side of the line of scrimmage he comes to pressure and then good discipline by Whibley it's close to midfield brought down by kirill painting well that's a staple of this offense from a lot of different formations and again when you've got a guy who's is good on his feet as russell wilson and then you've got a guy that can break tackles and actually in some ways intimidate some of the guys defensively as can Marshawn Lynch not every running back on the plinth and that's batted down altar on burner with the coverage on golden cake altar on burner is the best cornerback that a lot of people outside of Nashville don't know a whole lot about this guy is special and he is peaking he has climbed the mountain and he's standing up there with the elite corners in the National Football League already four picks on the year he's got a couple of fumble recoveries as well he is off to a great start yo Ryan put it away area Reynaud balls for the fair get and we'll make that casket about the six and a half yard line just under 10 minutes to play in a scoreless first quarter Chris Johnson Tennessee desperately trying to break him loose the NFL on yes a sponsored by Southwest Airlines fund our fares online only at southwest.com Chili's $20.00 dinner for two and by Bud Light official beer sponsor of the NFL on a bright sunshiney typically noisy Sunday here in Seattle Fitzpatrick and the Titans from their own seven yard line and this would in theory that the three yard line read Bryant number 79 well-read Ryan is a good run play defensive end and again now that step was high really high and Ryan Fitzpatrick did a heck of a job one handing it Rob Turner at center has got to figure this out that gets rough to play and fills it right off the bat all the timing between quarterback and running back disappears after that acrobatic move Chris Johnson could carry a -4 yard so far today 746 African throw out of the end zone the sidelines he's got a man open and that is thought across the 30 yard line by Kendall Wright for a first down well Kendall right there first round draft pick a year ago is really coming on and I mean coming on strong and he's going to get by Brandon browner right there that little double move Brandon browner just caught flat-footed and that ball was actually under thrown Kendall Wright did a good job of growing down and adjusting and waiting for the ball to get with 32 yards play out to the 35 yard line for [Applause] that's right begin Manzanilla first down and Brandon browner all six-four two-twenty one delivers a big hit but a keep in mind you know this drive started all the way back inside their 10-yard line so nice job by Nashville Tennessee getting out of the shadow of their own end zone here this is good stuff vs. 8 quarterbacks here in Seattle Arthur [Applause] only if you think critically and sick for cake everybody else in the NFL go down [Applause] Patrick roll roll midfield well Ryan Fitzpatrick on his beat on the road this is really good stuff my fellow Logan see the offensive coordinator you've got a very mobile quarterback even though he's nine years in the league Ryan Fitzpatrick very light on his feet and there is one disappointed guy in Bakke Walker a Washington native played at the University of Washington right here in Seattle and heard a couple weeks ago not able to bring his team out onto this field in the spectator probably for another two weeks ago with Mike Munchak second six pick packet on the move again and he's going to keep it and running on about Terry and mentally markers my Richard Sherman was over there well immediately when flags fly after the play was over unnecessary roughness number 25 defense for a lane head out of bounds 15 yards will be headed to the end of the play automatic over ground the crowd can boo all they want but Richard Sherman is standing out of bounds when he lowers the shoulder into the lower legs arrive in metric who himself is already out of bounds and it's just a fact of life of Arizona these days well you know there was a hit you know that that's going to be closed for well out about it gonna drag 100 [Applause] five running room at all right time Pro Bowler 33 career 100-yard rushing games you know when we talked to Mike Munchak about it you know the Hall of Fame guard who the head coach of the title team now he talks about the fact that it's just not crisp blocking up front you know on the double team the guy gets through on a quick block a guy comes around behind there have been so many instances with v Johnson barely makes it back for the line of scrimmage [Applause] [Music] [Applause] not being able they forget this Damian Williams [Applause] maybe 39 well that actually looks like a pretty good throw by Ryan Fitzpatrick it was you know the coverage underneath my browner is pretty darn good you can see he's got a hand on him and Ryan Fitzpatrick knew he was going to get hit and he delivered it signed by McDonald's but it was a all in all a pretty accurate throw third and nine Fitzpatrick beats the 20-yard line [Applause] walking complete [Applause] [Music] 20-yard line is Justin hunter the rookie fruits going to see well when Justin runner breaks the first tackle it looked like he was going to cleanly be able to pick up the first down good job of coming back to the ball when he breaks that tackle right there of Sherman it looked to me like he was going to get the first down but then her Obama comes in with a really short Akal that was that would have been an evening first down if it wasn't for Obama's doing a second set and with a half yard to go for a first down Mike Munchak is going to go for the field goal here with Rob Bironas from 38 yards out and the kick is good when you're on the road Gregg you should not come out of a drive like that without anymore Tennessee draws first blood 5:16 to play in the first green of excitement the NFL on CBS in sponsored by Walmart get to Walmart and the October savings event going on right now and by Ford only forgives you EcoBoost fuel economy and a whole lot more 5:09 to play in the first quarter in Russell Wilson and the Seahawks start their own 19 yard line [Applause] twenty-five rocker and Senator and slides down the way the professional baseball player who used to be in the Colorado Rockies organizations learn to do well that's the classic read option and right there the defensive end comes up and takes on March on Lynch that leaves the crease to the outside and there is your baseball player Russell Wilson I'm telling you you see a lot of quarterbacks in this league to do some god-awful looking fly it's downright eyelid yeah he's not one of them read option the end price he kept up all the god for 30 years up to the 35-yard line is Marshawn Lynch Zac Brown making the stop and we talked about the weapons for the Seattle Seahawks come up his home field what a weapon it is the longest active home win streak in the National Football League ten straight games you know Greg I've always found out that a loud crowd only counts for something if there's a pretty good home team playing there as well it always helps yeah it's whooping me like a little bit Simon 4 yard line by Mike Martin and Antonio Johnson the one thing about the Seahawks they have a disappointing loss last week after winning more games on the road they lost at Indianapolis they didn't play very well they gave up the big plays but they come back home where they've got this long winning streak they're like a two-touchdown favorite over the Tennessee Titans and it would be a mistake to overlook this Titan team this is a pretty fundamentally sound football team at Mike Munchak and field 33 complete in and out of the arms of golden faith and there's burner again there's altar on burner locked up on golden tape it's just a quick slant and look at his closing ability he gets in there maybe a tad early but don't all good quarterbacks get their justice header well you had to like altar on burner and we've talked to him last night he says he says I look at Russell Wilson he looks like he's playing a video game out there well he he is one smart guy we'll get into that later but Ultron's burner brilliant look this amount and it takes the home he rolled and down the goal line [Music] it looked like his right foot hit the goal line Jeremy Lane could not hold up short of the goal line he's got a bead on his ball yet huh no question Jeremy take it and throw it out of bounds hey start your Monday night with a great new hour of comedy How I Met Your Mother and two Broke Girls at its new time followed by a special Big Bang Theory tomorrow beginning at 8 7 central only CBS 3 minutes 13 seconds to play in the first quarter which has seen really the Tennessee offense have the better of things and the Tennessee defense showing itself to be pretty formidable too well the one thing about the Titans when they're on the road against Pete Carroll's Club in an environment like this you just got to play a clean game you can't you you have no chance of winning if you lose the turnover battle that's just not going to happen and you know this is the team that the first four games of the year didn't have any turnovers and then they had three last week and that's why they lost in Kansas City turnovers today for the Titans are going to be a big problem take a look at both of these teams right here number two or number three and the best turnover differential in the NFL this year [Applause] Fitzpatrick back to throw time growing at the 42-yard line full color [Applause] [Music] to be in the seat of his pants if he was that flexible because he's got a wide open receiver Nate Washington and he just sails it over his head that is an easy completion to Nate Washington look at him there's not another Seahawk defender in the frame and it's just a clean overthrow right to Walter Thurmond the slot corner that's a that is a Ryan Fitzpatrick hip to the Seattle feel not only is that the 10th straight game was taken away from the Seahawks it's their 16th and just season it's tied for second best in the NFL I think I misspoke their oral Thomas at the interception and what a gift but and in group oh good three cups inside the 42 the 39 hard yards there from Marshawn Lynch these tightened defenders all week long and to watch highlight reel of Marshawn Lynch the courtesy of Greg Williams their special assistant on defense who've seen the havoc firsthand that Lincoln could deliver on a football field is and he saw it in New Orleans and that's to the 37 yard line this is what they were looking at all week long well against the New Orleans Saints in the playoffs in the wild-card game in 2010 I think every single person on the Saints defense had his chance to bring down Marshawn Lynch and he just went right through every one of them and these players have had to look at those and other that run and other runs ad nauseam oh we got five [Music] right up the middle and sliding down to the 25-yard line for a first step we know Greg when you look at that you know the technical thing to say is empty backfield holding number 77 offense and yard penalty repeat there now it's coming back because of the holding call on games Karpin through the left guard number one pick up a couple years ago but you know you could call that an empty backfield but when you have a quarterback that can run like Russell Wilson there's really a running back back there it's just that the running back and the quarterback are wearing the same number [Applause] what a luxury it is to have a guy that could take off like that now didn't count because of the hole but everybody on the defensive side of things knows they were fortunate he did run for first and you know he can run and yet when we talked to him this week when he said he's not the same working on a football we're going on now third [Music] about new original line of scrimmage at about the 42 yard line the of course in about ten that was a very costly hold on carpenter who knows where this Drive would ended up without that that holding call but now we know how it's going to end right now in a punt Shawn Ryan ready to kick it away - Darius ran off [Music] [Music] that and a lot before and again through the back that goal line is being very favorable to the Tennessee Titans [Music] and sup the shock I don't think Kern said it's not about that that made the call pretty easy for the official where is John McEnroe will be needed as Endicott flies and in the end zone I am awfully close to having two big plays inside the 5-yard line and Jeremy Lane involved on the quick fifteen play both time 31 the quickens new 40 for your doctor or about the spoon and we will see if that is the last play of the first quarter and make it [Applause] well there is and trying to come up with the proper adjective to describe that assent o'clock like dental right an ankle gravel road kind of humble the tumbleweed and we've come to the end of one here in Seattle Seahawks not able to generate anything Tennessee has field goal it's three nothing we're back after this [Applause] ready for the start of the second quarter Ryan Fitzpatrick with 15 rushing yards to his credit to five of eight 457 yards growing and what overthrow Boston an interception but in the good news department [Applause] Chris Brown in Johnson across the 25 to about the 26 yard line [Applause] you've been lead looking at the right the Ryan Fitzpatrick since 2011 joining a list if nobody wants to be on and keep in mind at the beginning of this season we will believe on the starter Greg Walker with the car will nobody wants to be on that phase third and three Patrick [Applause] he gets the first down across 13 about the 31 yard line and you know Jake Locker who did Patrick is filling in for canned really run he's an outstanding runner and it had a lot of success doing it early in the season before he got hurt in the game against the Jets and you'd think well wow that's really going to suffer now that we've had to go to an older guy in Fitzpatrick a quarterback but Ryan Fitzpatrick I think is caught the attention of the Seahawks defense for our offenses ooh yes well he's outlined big jump in everybody then we talked about this before relations Chris he'll keep pounding away coming away in hopes that he just finds that one little crack and then he's gone well you know Greg what used to happen is that's exactly what what happened they pound away pound away and then he break a pig well guess what recently the last year - he pounds in pounds and pounds and the big one doesn't come with any regularity that's that's been the biggest pain and as you pointed out this Tennessee franchise incident known for his offensive line we've had their problem to place in fact the throat [Music] that's going to be up about the 37 yard line maybe about four yards short of a first down [Applause] about a thing about a thing about a thrill like that was Fitzpatrick you got to be careful he had his back turned and does a 180 to throw that out there if a cornered guesses that's a picnic Seattle fans to their feet and focus [Applause] the plan and going up for making the cast across the 45 to the 47 is Williams once again and again is another ball that is a little higher than Ryan Fitzpatrick wants to deliver it good ink that's Kendall right yeah good job I write the balls high and a little bit behind so you know that's not a throw that Ryan Fitzpatrick feels all that great about he loves it back at his receiver went up and got it but that ball was a bit inaccurate and that was fortunate to vehicle [Applause] chills nothing freaking free for Johnson and again we talked about this Tennessee running game all new middle Deline levitra sign war Mac drafted Delanie Walker a very good blocking tight end has acquired and they picked up some running back depth and John Green and Jackie battle though Shawn green was bird in the opener and as it played defense and there you look at a three point seven yards to carry but again that number is bloated because of the effects of systemic and locker running from the quarterback clock and there's a false start on Louisville start number 67 often second you know they love that here yes Greg things aren't going really dandy in your running game if you count on the rushing average of your quarterback to elevate your step that that's not how you draw it up in training the tackles are the one that our script their auditory skills are stretched to make oh sorry Chris Clemons or pill in on the penalty quarterback [Music] big number 70 in there right guard is chance for mac and it looks like he's lost he's lost his shoulder right there in the middle of screen he's 70 Clemens gets underneath him as big as war match his letters a much smaller man won the leverage battle got underneath format and building right back to the quarterback escape and now but Patrick app operate from the shotgun on 3rd and 19 at the end of the world here backwards not the second and that's a very conservative play the old adage that any Drive that ends in a kick is really a pretty good Drive meaning there wasn't a turnover involved or use for but what they were facing a punt was almost inevitable Golden Tate back inside is on 10-yard line and Westerners cigarette [Applause] sitting out of trouble up the sideline [Applause] no flag down Russell Wilson in the offense back on the field when we come back he have a look [Music] welcome back to the Great Northwest everybody watch at the end of this golden tapes going to be out about there's the primary tackle but right here number fourteen Michael Preston comes in and puts a forearm right order they hop it up Golden Tate that should have been flagged for a penalty that should even the score Richard Sherman got flagged earlier for hitting his record that shouldn't be first down about the 35 to about the 38 yard line when you've got a quarterback that is so good on his feet good ball fake and again breaking contain it's just an easy pitch again but I really like this whole debate at the end of this thing we make Moses beaucoup miss it mix up some extra yardage Golden Tate for a bigger guy you know I mean he's over 200 pounds but he you know he he moves like a guy that's maybe in that 180 ring we've got a nice shifting super big [Music] [Laughter] 45 to the 46 yard line that will be two yards short of a first down also by the way crystal-clear sunshine here today it is we're in Seattle it's not raining its check it out just an absolutely perfect day for football officially well you know Greg they never take the broadcasters into a comment when they talk about the weather I press million the players are enjoying this repentance around 60 they're liking this under a second excuse and put backs it looked like he lost the couple back to about the 44 well you know the this Seahawks offensive line they've been having issues of their own and let's make no mistake about it - as we look at Swezey getting beat there on his block but Breslow Koon is still out he won't be back until later on in November there right tackle JA Kamini he's out you know hopefully he'll be back in a week or two and they just got Unger back today so they they've been playing short-handed this season saw that he had Aloka three on third down today look on the move go to run and we'll get the first down and then some put down CR and again we're seeing both quarterbacks in this game today just move the chains by getting outside the pocket but you can see right here Russell Wilson and boy didn't he pick up a nice block downfield that puts two Titans on the ground when you talk to Pete Carroll about Russell Wilson you know mostly when you talk about a second-year quarterback if you hear things like work-in-progress and and what does Pete Carroll say exactly not always right belated Oh hear that about a second just on one track and that is bought my bowling date and again Russell Wilson extending the play outside the pocket and boy does Golden Tate go up and get that he really he goes up and catches his football at the highest point I think I think I think that the Golden Tate thought he was standing out of bounds on the first effort time Stood Still he go through its anxiety behind Lynch intended receiver will be 32 well Russell Wilson he's just not doing this running thing today week for Houston he ran for 77 yards and putting 25 yarder last week good ending he ran for 102 which was a career-high Bremen is very young career already today we see just awoken he's already run for 26 yards and more importantly has been very effective it was not picking up first round not on 420 quarterback the graphics play [Applause] about 30 yard line because if the crowd doesn't care where they're going to march as they love the effort Marshawn Lynch will run through some tackles yep you can see his left knee yeah that's a good spot right official he's down right there but he gets back up Moses beaucoup with the hit that put him on the ground and you got to love the effort though by Marshawn Lynch Lynch now to the sidelines Robert turban in the backfield on fourth down [Applause] thanks the running pass on this Drive inside the fire without the fuse is done Baldwin well Godfather loves to run out of the slot he even gets rerouted a little bit by Moses Goku what if you're asking folk who to run down field Russell Wilson look at him look left look left and then he comes back to the middle of the field when he sees Baldwin has two steps on the linebackers hoses Goku is going don't do me any favors what then I got to taste inside that person boy [Music] with Jermaine Kearse well excellent jobs there by Tennessee they rolled up on that side McCourty who's a really solid corner in his own right over on the other side he breaks off comes up he's got the first grass Bernard Pollard follows up and I'll tell you something this this secondary that secondary for the fight with Michael Griffin and safety burner and McCourty at this safe I know all the publicity in Seattle don't sell that grass or care off the good go to the best it is a client [Music] we'll be brought down to maybe two one so now we've come to the third and goal well you know you've got two options here if you're beat Darrell you've got you've got the guy who does heavy lifting and Marshawn Lynch but you also have the edge Buster in Russell Wilson so Darrell Bevell the offensive coordinator he's got multiple options here and my unchecked when we talked about Kenneth Starr or Seattle in the redzone you've got to keep an eye on Russell local captain we've got this because he can just break the same but Marshawn Lynch Duffy Popa Youra life and will come up and again kudos to Jerry Gray and kudos the Gregg Williams on the other side and Pete Carroll's got a tough decision right now well you're the home team go as a author on his side yeah I would say you know you're going to make Tennessee go 99 yards if you don't get it in and you know what the players will tell you if we can't get it in on a couple of shots from the one-yard line well then shame on us fourth and goal from the one Marshawn Lynch Garrett Hedlund in the backfield [Applause] rushing touchdown on the season from our Chalmers he gets a good block out front by his full-back Coleman and in a decent search on the left nothing extraordinary but when you've got a guy like Marshawn Lynch forth and one looks a whole lot shorter when you can hand it off to a beat like that Stephen out Scott six minutes 42 seconds off the clock led by Russell Wilson the Seahawks come back and grab the lead step three the NFL on CBS is sponsored by DIRECTV if you call yourself a sports fan you've got to get DIRECTV CenturyLink your link to what's next and by Pepsi live for now tonight on 60 minutes a 15 year old boy who may have come up with a cancer breakthrough flustered one of the great untold human rescue stories of the 20th century on 60 minutes tonight only CBS well both clubs have all three timeouts remaining that comes into play for Seattle more than it does Tennessee at this point because if Tennessee doesn't do much of anything on first down I would suspect that Seattle is going to start burning for time out they've got a two-minute warning in front of them Reed is a good thing in the NFL if you can get one more protection before halftime right [Music] Tennessee Titans have scored 31 points in the last minute in the NFL [Applause] off the quest on across and hold this way close to 35 yard line at the sir if Achra turn by Gary agree not even Houska oh you could say I would say that the tackle if you're a fantasy football fan check out CBS sports.com player challenge a new four-week game with a cash prize in every lead see rules and sign up at CBS sports.com flash challenge well Stephen Houska was down for a while you could see his head snapped pretty violently and there's that blood coming from his nostril right there just look at it as he wasn't prepared to be hit for that kind of velocity and forth from Darius Rae [Applause] 35 yard line [Applause] his receiver Kendall right flip-down yeah and that was almost an interception by Walter Thurmond the receivers on the ground and if that ball would have been just a little bit more toward the sideline the only guy that could make a play on that would have been service [Applause] now would kill wright-phillips yesterday there he put the back we'll win on every single slide everyone everything is like they were second sense [Applause] with dr. lux across the 40 2042 Chris Clemens making the stop as we wind our way towards two minutes to play I think Pete Carroll at this point in time with the artist picked up was going well I'll I'll trade off he's remaining 15 seconds to keep one of those timeouts in the bank [Applause] so that's where we will be at the two-minute warning two minutes to play here in the first tab Seattle 7-3 lead as you mentioned a few moments ago these Titans have propensity is four points in the last two minutes of a half third and three [Applause] and that is complete over the middle the Damian Williams for a first down just short of the 40-yard line clock continues to move both teams three timeouts remaining well though the Seattle Seahawks a little boo preoccupy was keeping everything in front of them that time they were allowed to have that underneath Patterson wider [Applause] thirty-six to his tight end the leaning Walker first time he's been targeted today when you see a guy's head snap that violently the first thing to think of is did he get concussed in the process and you can see they're cracking his eyes right there it's off of the 30-yard line Walter Thurmond almost has a touchdown he has that ball right on both hands oh you won't get many looks at it like that [Applause] thirty-four missed well to play this to be 14 to 3 cm [Applause] taken by Seattle Seattle uses the time out here and turn on blob will be better the NFL on CBS is sponsored by Samsung Smart TV TV has never been better and by State Farm it paints a double check talk to your agent today just a reminder abroad to the halftime report coming your way JV Dan Marino Sifl gets Bart Scott all the scores and highlights coming up on the Verizon halftime report third and four go back can we get a looks like a false start against going to see Oh scheppers is our referee today I'll start number 67 often five-yard penalty third down woof guard andylou b-tree and levitra a good football player and was a nice create a free agent acquisition for Tennessee coming over from Buffalo but again it could it hasn't happened the middle yet with Turner Center Levine free at left guard and big cam for maket right guard when I say big Stan Zbornak I'm not joking that is the v3 second fall start the day 39 [Applause] wonder about that it was going to be a long field Roland now they're completely out bugle rings Michael Bennett gets around the edge right at the bottom of your screen he puts a really nice stutter move on David Stewart to right tackle and down Fitzpatrick go forth and 17 now and kind of see with all three their timeouts remaining Seattle with just one as they get the football well they're going to get the football back Greg but they don't have a kicker and the Houska went to the locker room and John Ryan their putter is going to get pressed into duty but this was a couple of moments ago Stephen Houska went into the locker room and Brian is the backup place kicker also their fun [Applause] a lot of things you can get here with the foot and picked up and through [Applause] where we said earlier [Applause] a move by threaten turn and not a very good one either that was dangerous as they come it was a field goal when Garrow you premium threw it up in the air he just dropped the ball he just dropped the ball he's down that play is over before that ill-fated and not thought out throw but that perfect snap right in there and right now if I'm Pete Carroll and I'm Darrell Bevell I'm thinking touchdown I'm thinking I got to get this thing into the endzone here because I got no kicker now not I am NOT the position to tell you how good John Ryan is but he's being pressed into duty complete intended for Sydney right 51 seconds on the clock well that's where you read the coverage and look like Moses beaucoup is down on the ground the middle linebacker for Tennessee see if we can find out what happened to koku these are second-leading backwards areas looping around coming up ends up getting kinda thrown to the ground by JR Sweezy the right guard didn't appear to be any sort of a hard landing or anything utter anything abnormal an intriguing young man to talk to well he told us his name is really pronounced Louise D but rather than have people mispronouncing at left and right he just said just call me Moses and I asked him I said how many times in your life have you had to say it's pronounced Moses and he said well I just basically have fallen into that habit because it's easier for everybody else [Music] well I would still think that the Seattle is going the only sure thing here is to break the plane of the goal line because a field goal being kicked by your putter yeah all kinds of adventure attached me as it does so I would think that the Darrell Bevell is he's just thinking what do I have to do to get it down there women in the backfield with realistic on the back here 25:20 signing inside 20 maybe 18 yard line walking movie well Seattle's only got one timeout so they can't use it here so get up there Runkle Wilson can either call a play really quickly or spike the football well he's not going to fight the football from the shot down and whistle and penalty Walker and a false start [Applause] Zephyrs having a conversation with Pete Carroll before making apartment false start number 77 often a foul like this inside of a minute with the clock running record one second run off cattle is avoiding that by using their third and final charge timeout and that's all they have left to them to do that because if you commit a penalty in this situation that stops the clock there's a mandatory run off so Pete Carroll can't avoid it by using his last time out there John Ryan and that graphic kind of speaks for itself doesn't looking a hit with its first ever field goal attempt again I think we'll see the Seattle leave I'm trying to get into that end zone running of become a turn for something underneath with a catchment roughly fifteen will fine sideline and get the penalty marker thrown well smart move by Doug Baldwin heading for that sideline did he get a face mask or slap to the head personal foul face mask number 30 defense opposition to the goal automatic first down LJ cinema4d you can see at his hand on the facemask you can touch the facemask but if you have it to the point where the head turns and you pivoted his neck that's that's a penalty that's a great way for a guy to get hurt so all this was compared Seattle inside the 10-yard line and over here first at no time outside [Music] turbine inside get up there gotta hurry Wilson Genki lined up and slicing 50 seconds to play there was a little little delay from the official a little delay from the officials and Russell Wilson was late getting back under center Pete Carroll a little unhappy [Applause] Russell Wilson still has the football but he flips it he flips it to the umpire and the umpire mishandles the ball that's you know that's just part of the game Russell Wilson should have handed it to him to make sure that it could get up there quickly so now here is John Ryan the punter from 20 yards out never got her off loose ball picked up by tennis team Jason party party down the sideline [Applause] my [Music] handles the ball is a good snack so keep in mind the Ryan is the normal holder and this time ergo who's worked in the service as well really on the field is the ball in the lot recovered by the defense run in for a touchdown the previous play is under review the only question is whether or not he was down by context but did he have possession of the football there's no question and Maragos is on the ground picks the ball up there drops it when did he go down well that's what they're going to look at they're going to see if Mayer goes was if his knee touched the ground before he lost control of the football also what my play into this Dan is whether or not it looked like being attempted forward that your way it was ugly but again see from this angle let's look at the knee of Maragos when does he go down if we could get a good close look at that try to freeze it maybe that is an Ergo pressed into duty because the regular older is attempting the field goal that's that's Ryan all right let's look at it really closely here Mary goes there's a neat where that is so close keep in mind the ruling on the field was that it was a loose ball and the ruling on the field is a touchdown so Karl tempers going to have to be in the stable indisputable visual evidence again at the left knee it's the left knee where is that left knee on the ground the ball being batted from behind by Dixon McCourty who then picks up the loose ball [Music] the knees are almost the knee looked like it was almost on the forearm of Michael Griffin or that you talk about folks living here on a replay and again it's got to be indisputable to overturn it after review the ruling on the field stands touchdown Carl Shepard saw no reason to overturn it well you notice he didn't say confirm it stands because he just did not have he did not have visual evidence on a scale that would have turned that over so Greg I think he used the word adventure talking about a potential field goal try by the Seahawk animaux certainly was and caissons forty Richard 77-yard the give Tennessee the lead Rob Bironas will send the Titans to the locker room with a three-point lead a task once again tennessee strife in the last two minutes of a half far from conventional whatever works at the end of the first half with the score n7 hike [Music] Jason the 44 77-yard the Verizon halftime report is next after this message and a word from your local station the balls I and a little bit behind [Music] [Applause] over the meadow got his man Baldwin loose ball picked up by Tennessee's Jason the 40 welcome back to Seattle everyone 10 7 at halftime Tennessee with the lead on the Seattle Seahawks Diet Pepsi encourages fans to bid on year benefit the NFL's a crucial cash campaign so your fan enough by visiting nfl.com slash auction to bid for pink Greg Gumbel Dan Dierdorf or we approach the second half in Seattle will get the football first what a perfect storm of horror for Pete Carroll it's white coaches stay awake at night because take a look at what happened first of all Steven house go gets injured on it trying to protect on the kick right there warehouse kid gets hurt by Darian for a no and he ends up going into the locker room and then they have trouble spotting the ball although they do get it and killed with 3 seconds left but they keep in mind are three critical components to a kick to hold the kick in the set and in this page two of the three were tamed the holder goes to the kicker and they have to bring in a new damper and americo Christmas handles the football and your life exists an absolutely catastrophic turn of events for the Seattle Seahawks meanwhile Stephen Houska as you see there is back onto the field so we presume that he will be available although we don't know yeah I don't for sure we haven't gotten an injury update yet I'm sure he gets be careful well you know again we don't know exactly what it was but if it is anything that might be related to a concussion that that's in the hands of the medical staff not the coaching pasta is okay we'll play [Music] and out through about this please three yard line live some halftime numbers well hardly an offensive explosion 121 total yards for Tennessee only 153 for Seattle each team had a take away but the interception that was thrown by Ryan Fitzpatrick didn't cost Tennessee any points you know we talked about Tennessee having to play a very clean ball game to win on the road against a really good team in the Seahawks and in this noisy Stadium yeah and what's allowed a lot of time it's essential painfully until he comes into this game 9th ranked defense in the league Seattle the success and tastes sounded about the 27 to 28 yard line case in recording while making the tackle but let's go back to that snap well Russell Wilson yeah you can see the snap way out to the right it's almost easier for Marshawn Lynch to take the snap that was a that was the case where max Unger remember he hasn't been in the lineup for a while because he had a price F injury that that baby was off the line not the first ugly snap you seen of it Ben we're subtly won by the Seahawks the moon being chased by the tulips TOA tua and team here at the 935 m I think it's the football IQ of ruffle Wilkin leaves outside the pocket please he just doesn't very often make bad decisions he's he's very mature unravel Pete Carroll just goes on and on and about the quality of his decision yes I would say that he never never gets rattled never always under conflated 35 [Music] first down yardage in hazard up to 34 yard line so Wilson makes it happen once again with his legs well this time Tennessee Jerry Gray and Greg Williams they're only going to bring a four-man rush and they're going to sit back in coverage and it was an excellent job of pass protecting up front by the line and again there's the wild card now there's no slide from Russell Wilson he knows that if he goes into that deep first slide they spot the ball exactly when he touches the ground he knew he had to go through the productive now zone this boy this is Marshawn Lynch across the 35 and bold good way out to the 40 and over the 40 is the 41 yard line or that goal fashion power football isn't it Lynch in his seventh season out of California what was it full of it then and told us yesterday that Pete Carroll seems to grab everybody who comes out of the pack then for his prosthetics and there's Tom Campbell a former head coach of the Raiders is now the offensive line coach you're one of the best offenses a quick fast doesn't work Golden Tate is cut down I don't immediately by Kody sense of awe again we talked earlier about the fundamental soundness of this Tennessee football team they're not spectacular they're not just a human highlight reel waiting to happen but they play grinded out conservative but fundamentally sound football much like like the exact olivine career [Music] marker flies from the secondary Sydney right covered by Alderaan Verner we talked in the first half about the quality of the play of burner prior to the past holding number 20 chief in five-yard penalty automatic first down Sidney Rice a big physical receiver and he was you know was there contact after the five yard mark the other was I think we've also seen that at times to look like a routine play not soothe the pain who set it down so Lou [Music] we lose 100 of the 45 by who well a Hennelly marker family marker goes in Sidney Rice had the football when the officials are huddling before coming up with any kind of a call well this you don't see this very often where a flag is thrown basically concerning the fight for the football here's Carl tripperz really on the field as the ball was fumbled it was recovered by the defense dead ball foul after that recovery number 73 of the fumbling team that 15-yard penalty will be added to the end of the play first down Tennessee Wow everything went against the Seattle Seahawks on this play well everybody wants to know was Sidney Rice down what is he doing with the football covered by the Titans and then add two team for the penalty like all turnovers there's an automatic review process Sidney Rice Oh takes the ball away from his body I don't know if he's trying to reach for a first down but it hits the helmet of Moses beaucoup and and squirts away from him he was so close to being down but it appeared to me that that was a fumble after review the ruling on the field is confirmed the ball was coming loose prior to a body part being down on the ground first and 10 Tennessee and there aren't many teams in the NFL who take more advantage of turnovers than the Tennessee Titans well that just wasn't a smart play by Sidney Rice I know you're trying to make a play for your team but when how many times have we seen it you take that football away from your midsection you reach it out well you just hang a big deal sign on it that says come and get me so now Fitzpatrick [Applause] plenty of time the path through the hand of Kendall right it'll be second and ten well that's an easy completion and again Ryan Fitzpatrick I think that ball was too hot and too high just that is good pitch and catch and heat the he's got to be really disappointed that [Applause] they're full of growth fifty-fifty [Applause] room for a couple filled out the 37 [Applause] you know we have already much the story of the day regress Johnson everything like new yards a carry nobody lighten it up yardage wise either running it or throwing it as you look at the numbers and you hear this crowd Ryan Fitzpatrick says sometimes little tough to communicate with everybody in the huddle when this crowd is going third and eight [Applause] Patrick this side of the field and Kendall rifles well a young receiver is Kendall right in his second year and Ryan Fitzpatrick this time delivers I think a pretty decent pass although again it's back behind it it is behind him when I looked at it again at that angle again that was not a decent pass by Ryan Fitzpatrick I stand corrected he has been having some accuracy issues today and throwing the ball kind of sees 22nd turning out on the season twenty-seven when we take and what this is about cycles are going to kill it deep Collin McCarthy could be free to play in the third the NFL on CBS is sponsored by Southwest Airlines find our fares online only at southwest.com McDonald's are loving it and by Acura he explained it to thousand 14 M DX at Acura con flash MDX we remind you don't miss a new episode of the hit drama Person of Interest midnight and time Tuesday at 10:00 9:00 central only CBS told you at the start of the day both these teams very much contenders Seattle with a 4 and 1 record San Francisco with a slight lead over Arizona this afternoon meanwhile the AFC South Tennessee starting the day at game behind the Indianapolis Colts how about everybody in the NFC West being at this at 500 or above and the Colton highway right here for our yard line we'll put back that's complete Derrick Coleman football I bow before anybody can covers 40 we can hit I think before he does he put the helmet right on the ball well no the shoulder Coleman got very fortunate that he was close enough to the sidelines that the impotence of the ball was going to take it out of out again to the 30 the 30 to the 31 in a Seattle first down while Marshawn Lynch goes right over the top of one of the big hitters in football for a nard collar watch Bernard Pollard he's got him lined up number 31 you see him right there look at that move by Marshawn Lynch obviously there's a lot more to Lynch than just power and no wrap-up by Bernard Pollard he'll kick himself for that win throw Oh they doesn't stop he's up to about the 34 look to be stalled at the line of scrimmage defenders are over their goal why won't you just go down DNA is no it is not what a trade what a trader was with Buffalo during the 2010 season the thought went here to Seattle all he did was spin off 1,200 yards and 11 and nearly 1,600 last year nice format he takes a great Robert tonight in the backfield on second and clever immediately after making get the butcher tight and eat with him an altar on burner was there to make that play and if there's something that these corners do well it's not just covered we've seen some some really nice run support by these guys today we've seen some great form tackles from Verner from according we've seen some on the other side too you want your other than three we'll see footpath and that is complete the Duck Baldwin and that's enough for a first down at the 42 [Applause] something spectacular there other than the fact that it moves the change also throwing that football right on the right number and again Baldwin out of the slot is a tough cover it's all nice triple triple triple Oh no one to kokino here he goes misty r45 inside the 40 girls going crossing the field again and down at the 35 yard line Bernard Pollard finally knock him down well Russell Wilson give him credit when he decides it's time to go he's going to go and he gets a really good block out there by Luke Wilson his tight end and that is what really allowed Wilson to turn up field and he was going for the big play I'll say that Russell Wilson and you know there's a time where defenders say well maybe he's just trying to head for the sideline 55 yard Brooklyn today for worse than 102 over ground last week at the cross guard over left that boy that was supposed to lean back rocked out of his stance a little early does is take my ball start number 77 offense five-yard penalty first down whether calling it on carpet or the left guard but I believe it was 67 acquits than the left hackle you know Dan on that last run by Russell Wilson we saw him get near the sideline and where most quarterbacks would have taken a right turn and gone out of bounds he cut it back for more yard loss certainly did and again take a look at that the most productive ball carriers in this game today are Russell Wilson and Ryan Fitzpatrick first and 15 now is passing inside a man to complete remain first and persons out of bounds inside the 30 NFL fans share your story about why you love NFL football go to nfl.com slash together we make football for official rules and a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl xlviii [Music] Carroll was telling us Jermaine Kearse has been doing some really special things yeah Punk last we get indeed only for acceptance coming under today about the dart line by Kurt good hand and that's just the quarterback following his progression no favoritism here who's the open guy and you can see the curse was just sitting there Wilson throws it away from the defender almost threw it too far away from Hearst and that's a good hand player you just extended his arm yes Wilson has completed at seven in a row 18 of 24 on the day let's go by Derek Morgan [Music] so it'll be second and ten with five and a half to play in Houska back on the field and back swinging is foot good to see yes it is and again we don't know if Ryan would have made that field goal it never it never got to that mishandled snap thank you they all swim at them in the word something or light there but Darryl second intent why not [Music] where to go good job setting the edge by Carl clue the defensive end nice balance here for rush six passes it's like they're on their way to McDonald's five minutes to play in the third [Applause] [Applause] listen all the growth complete inside the 15-yard line Doug Baldwin out of bounds at the 13 and that is about a yard short of a first down so what does Pete Carroll do here well when you're a defender out in space and it's a ki mares number 56 this time what a lonely feeling these guys didn't know what it was like to chase Fran Tarkenton around you can see Golden Tate on the backside but keep in mind russell wilson has rolled out to the right that's that's a tough throw all the way back across the field we're going to get a measurement on this side of the field [Applause] [Music] very much you don't see measurements for those very often where they're fully yard off what a coach can ask for it [Applause] so house goes on the field [Applause] we presume he will attempt the field goal he has get 25 in a row on 40 yards or less and will get his holder back doing what he does best other than punt John Ryan and I'm sure Ryan looking at house girls going this is doesn't mind would be nice to see you back and probably nobody is happier and Chris Maragos who doesn't have to try to hold this will be a 31 yard attempt [Applause] Carol likes nothing better than the defense's line and tightens up how stuff 31-yard [Applause] 26 straight field goal for house gun from inside 40 yards for 27 to play in the third were tied at 10 [Music] another time-consuming drive almost six and a half minutes Seattle goes 75-yard in 12 plane house though with the field goal and we're tied at 10 with just under four and a half to play here in the third quarter [Music] and this place lives up to its reputation it of a noisy state yeah it's not that room and the penitent that [Applause] up the one-yard line so Ryan Fitzpatrick back to work on offset the NFL on TBN is sponsored by FedEx request Fleming where your packages are delivered with FedEx delivery manager and buy one in one calm pre reserved now from over 700 new domains with one in one calm for twenty one to play in the third quarter 10/10 tie the Titans and the Seahawks and next Sunday the NFL on CBS doubleheader action and you and I will be in the Meadowlands as the jet host the New England Patriots and doubleheader game Baltimore at Pittsburgh Joe Flacco and the Ravens then Roethlisberger and his dealers for detection ticking on the chief check your local listing it all begins with JV damn cannon boomer and the coach from the NFL today presented by Southwest Airlines Houston right about that [Applause] Tuscon breaking free helpful about the 30-yard line it would be about a yard or so short of first day well that's the longest run of the day for Chris Johnson seven yards was the one previously and keep in mind he's only averaging less than two yards of carry and again it is this tendency often is absolutely moribund without a running game from Chris Tucker you can't expect to win a lot of football games with Ryan Fitzpatrick mr. Johnson has done this way and he's across the 30 and I'll see about the 32 or 33 for a first down there's Jake Locker injured in the game against the Jets two weeks ago we have a penalty marker on the field Jake from Ferndale Washington which is about a hundred miles from here after the play was over unnecessary roughness number 29 defense four-headed budding an opponent that 15-yard penalty will be added to the end of the play automatic first down that's the two-time Pro Bowl 50 Earl Thomas the penalties that drive coaches wild the league has made it known to the players at any different form of haunting it's just unacceptable no putting a face mask no spinning the football in front of another guy no excessive verbal taunting either the tennis team escorter Wisconsin you know you can just see it and you can feel it if you've been a fan of football you know what Chris Johnson can do he doesn't need much room breaker no he's a reminiscence of a guy like Barry Sanders although Sanders didn't have Johnson's breakaway speed but you know he had a lot of negative runs because he was trying to make something happen [Applause] but it is one way to silence the crowd and Eddie's when the visitor get the running game going things quiet down in a hurry [Applause] Patrick looks left and then over the middle of the week I am complete [Applause] but again Chris Johnson to this point has 12 carries we're grand total of 33 yards and he's just not in the way of a brief at the Linus train station Johnson is John will stick his head in there Neil over his shoulder and he'll get new ugly yards but again averaging less than three yards to carry so far in this game even with a couple good runs and we see on this Drive focused excitement have gotten backed up now with a holding fall for the line Kermit is their own 42 [Applause] secondary that's it that's complete and inside the 45 whispering bill won't go down and now down this is also story three yard line well Ryan Fitzpatrick made a pretty good price for setting up that screen he ends up on the ground and Chris Johnson looks like he's a little a little sore after that run but when you got those defenders in your face as a quarterback Chris Johnston is uncomfortable Bergin one [Applause] three not ever fighting for first down yardage ins from Thierry might be about a half a yard short short yeah I did not think at first look that he got it and he does not Karl severs putting up a fist which is indicative of fourth down woods to be pretty close to this solid yard short so what do you do with your Mike Munchak oh I go for field position is decent now keep in mind he doesn't have Chris Johnson now that's got to back there in there with Chris Johnson on the sidelines yeah that's that's a bit of a game changer without your primary back in the lineup well he couldn't go for it looks like you need a little bit left to yard play clock [Applause] and when we call a timeout before the play clock expired well he really doesn't have to give up five yards you don't care [Applause] we've seen our share of misuse in this game Brian Fitzpatrick sales of all that ends up being an exceptional didn't cost him any points and then a fumble snap on a bunt by Kern and Seattle's had their own problems this one resulted in a Tennessee touchdown at the very end of the first half a buck field goal because their field goal kicker was in opera and Sydney writers trying to spread for our first down he puts the ball in play Moses profuse knocks it out we just have a we just had the ball please five yards back the officials call the delay of game they told the football yeah big potato Tennessee knows the Carroll far back they move it he's still going after work tonight think of the answer near catch-all for and me my golden tape at about the 20 yard line and with that we come to the end of three inside back after this message and a word from your local station to the PMF fellow ABS Greg Gumbel Dan Dierdorf our producer mark Wolfe our director Suzanne Smith the Seahawk looked to extend the longest active home increase to 11 by the fourth quarter size 10 will be Dodgers one back here Marshawn Lynch [Applause] 7:25 and on the quarterback rolls to his right when when a quarterback rolls to his right and he's going to throw back across the field you go oh no but watch Lynch he's going to come all the way around the edge here you can throw to a guy does that wide open there's very little risk involved in that throw and that you'll see that at times where a back comes out of the backfield and he just gets lost especially when the quarterback rotates the goal in the opposite direction that's a 65 yard pickup first down Seattle at the sinistairs 45 further finds apart 16 down to the 13 maybe the squirrel Michael Griffin with the tackle roll and after that was a good looking playing here buy this off and Bowie gets a good set a good block at the point of attack Luke Wilson the rookie tight end he gets two guys he sets the guy up for Bowie to come over and then he peels off and picks up the edge defenders [Applause] Gregg Williams here trying to end very graphically something here they bitter ganks on a couple big plays Seattle back in the rich collected from the club reaching for the end zone knock bow at about the two and all of a sudden is this defense that Tennessee has been playing so it definitely all game has evaporated on this Drive you know sometimes a big play like that play to Marshawn Lynch will just get everybody in that hood or looking in a different direction sometimes it's hard to regain your composure that's Michael Griffin having a little trouble meanwhile first and goal [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] and it and gave it right back door flew open Jack Brown is going to pick it up and try to run for our touchdown I don't think there's any question if this is a fumble the ball is out it belongs to Zac Brown and he just flipped it right into the waiting hands of Russell Wilson man sometimes I know you're trying to be opportunistic but possession is nine-tenths of all this good about recovering a fumble Mui t-toku is down at the 5-yard line we'll check on him after this [Applause] back on 2nd and goal ruffle whooping campaign trying to get away it is not going to get out of the grasp of bro potty to Kokua let's go back to that well first of all take a look at the views Zach Brown look what he's looking at nothing but green and then at the last minute I'm not so sure he didn't catch a glimpse of Russell Wilson closing in from his left and he takes his eyes off the football and in doing so he just man that is a blown opportunity third and goal now from the 15 will [Laughter] getting creative again still on his feet and down the 11 yard line and Zac Brown making that tackle and Russell Wilson has nothing but time and no one to throw to because of the coverage let's take a look four receivers going downfield one guy out in the flat every one of them covered up take a look over here take a look in the middle take a look here over here Russell Wilson you know by the time he's crossed the line of scrimmage one of his guys comes open it's too little too late here is how Scott from 29 yard and Seattle has the lead plenty of time play 11:23 remaining in the fort search team Jen Seahawks [Music] seven plays 69 yards and just over three and a half minutes and houseless field goal has given kind of C or Seattle the lead by four descent and a lot of it you read it to Marshawn Lynch welcome he already on the receptive but then a couple of really good run now Tennessee looking for a good run back from Darian right now [Music] so we'll start the 20 yard line well all this month and NFL games you notice all the pink all over the Butte how much more than that together the NFL in the American Cancer Society are helping women across the country make a crucial catch here the personal impact stories and find out how you can help finish the fight against breast cancer at nfl.com flat feet here's why Ryan Fitzpatrick has to fight off some of the demons that hang around with over the course of your career you play the whole fitzpatrick an adult deep down sideline intercepted by Richard Sherman Ryan's and Patrick look like he was bound and determined to go that way with the football from the get-go even though Richard Sherman has outstanding coverage he does not fall for the double move that works from Nate Washington in the first half and I think Ryan's good Patrick used that one word assumed that he thought the double move was going to get some separation for his receiver instead Richard Sherman becomes a receiver and Nate Washington becomes a defender second turnover of the day for Tennessee first four games of this season the Titans didn't turn the ball over once and then last week three of them [Applause] from the 41 this past the near side [Music] in 2timothy territory and down at about 48 maybe to 47 and a half yard line man it's fun to watch Golden Tate after the cats he is just downright elusive he made at least two maybe three Tennessee defenders with what secret are they having back there returning punts with that kind of shiftiness Seattle completely turned things around offensively against Tennessee here in the second half - about the 42 and just again grinded out power football by Marshawn Lynch I'd be fun to be an offensive lineman and block for a guy like that that you just knew first of all you better get out of the way or he'll run you over but secondly you know that there's second and third effort coming on just about every single attack cut [Applause] wraps up pretty good Mike Martin second gear D lineman out of negative there I know I said it yeah I spear do that you did here for you yeah I know I'm my Wolverine spell - Mike Munchak Penn State Nittany Lions yesterday he and I were talking about it before the game started and both of you pretended you didn't care which way to Game one yeah so I I will humbly eat some crow [Applause] [Music] in a field trying to stay in bounds and he does [Applause] bounds at about the 32 yard line that's reports down to the Seahawk support good footwork by number 24 here get that take a look at that move that he puts on Collin McCarthy and you just don't think of the Beast having this that that was slick that was really slick the old give them the leg and take it away Marshawn Lynch has a big game created it what ripple triple first down the fake conservative welcome find the third quarter what about the 27 yard line and he gave just enough of a fake to Kamerion Wimbley to keep Wembley who even had excellent position watching when he comes out here there's number 95 but that he faked the throw got Wembley to get a hand up in the air well when you put a hand up in the air like that thinking you're going to block it that cuts off your stride and that allows Wilson to get around the corner Russell Wilson has an innate field just an inane field for how to be on the move outside the pocket and make good decisions he's not going to five now and Wilson is going to call the timeout running out of time on the play clock 806 to play in regulation three-point lead for yep the NFL on CBS it's sponsored by Verizon Verizon's 4G LTE is in more places than any other 4G network The Home Depot more saving more doing that's the power of the Home Depot and by Kelly Blue Book everything you need to make a smart new car decision is at ketv.com [Music] the green hair out in force 806 to play here in the fourth quarter oh yeah the Allenwood a three-point lead looking for more [Applause] [Music] you throw away captain and inside the 5-yard line the ruling it is fun or and he was able to keep both feet on the field of play and expand in casting saying there's a highlight right there check this out the balls out of bounds [Music] the left foot is the one that he's got a boat down it looks to me he's got him both inbounds and possession of the football is up the middle to the endzone for the touchdown it took a while but they have gotten Marshawn Lynch into a rhythm is offensive line just swept the Tennessee defenders out of the way he comes back to a big boy but Sidney Rice the former Minnesota Viking on the sidelines they're channeled his inner Chris Carter with that catch 7:33 to play and Seattle has put 13 straight points on the board Richard Sherman's interception set the offense up for the drive Marshawn Lynch finished it off in Seattle with a ten-point lead [Music] no question who the leader the Seattle Seahawks team is you see Russell Wilson going up and down event congratulating his truth southern play to see nine yard drive in under three 45% point lead for the Seahawks [Music] [Applause] right up the middle across the 20 and out to about the 23 yard line Derrick Coleman making the tackle coming up time permitting after the game the Subway postgame show JV Dan Marino special guest Bart Scott back in New York for all the latest NFL scores and highlights all coming up on the subway postgame show and now it's time puts enemy Titans to try to get something going Philistine with just one first down in the second half attack of ship as the ball was relieved and then picked up so there's a fumble in Kendall Wright is on a bound across the 45 yard line all right let's take a look at this [Applause] McDonald coming in he hits the ball he hits the forearm of Brian Fitzpatrick and it appeared to be before he started his growing motion and he paint garel for the challenge that well you know it's worth it's worth a challenge because it's so close let's take a look at it catalyst challenging the ruling on the field of a humble we'll review the play you when I look at it a second time it looks like his arm might have started moving forward we're talking about a 25 yard difference here the NFL on TBN is sponsored by subway try the Tuscan chicken melt $6 footlong special today invite iota care scheduled maintenance no cost after review the quarterback hand was coming forward when the ball was knocked out of his hands is an incomplete pass it'll be second [Applause] we're challenged by Pete Carroll when you look at it in super slow motion there's no question that Ryan Fitzpatrick cocked the ball and then started his hook the ball boob minutely but it moved forward along in his arm and an attempt to make a forward pass there's been some weird weird bounces in this game ever there and I was a good use of the challenge system by Dee Carol good Patrick lung for his glass stick rolling the football forty ours [Applause] sliding down at about the 28 29 yard line somewhere in there leave him about a third and five see where they mark it it looked initially I granted the bentrik had a lot of room and again though you know he's got to be a little bit gun-shy about forcing the football downfield after that last intersection by German the last six Tennessee drives for Punk to interception third and five here they badly need a convergence [Applause] slant complete for a first down close to the 40-yard line Kendall right well Kendall right again the second-year guy from Baylor sizzling every week just gets better and better and the game is good to the point where it's not too big for and you know we had to go back for that ball to that'll be an out in front of him that ball was a little bit behind it but he was able to stay with it it will rifle as he's had to put in an electric on with Brian successor perfect their timing the middle and that complete to about the 46 yard line to the tight end Delanie Walker we haven't seen much of Delanie Walker today that is for this second reception excrete hey before trantolo 12 yard pickup a six second and cool was Dan Quinn bring pressure is he willing to sit back and we have to talk someplace yes [Applause] might have been PJ right [Applause] [Music] [Applause] six man rush step on and it was KJ right even though he was a good three or four yards away from Fitz Becca [Applause] turn the ball over twice today look at that yardage difference play clock winding down he's got a hurry impassive going over the middle in our hands of the receiver Damien Williams [Applause] I've seen some excessive demonstrations before but were absolutely ecstatic just he ran 30 yards downfield then comes back in ko is one of his own teammates look he's been shad for all right it's an incomplete pass and part of it was because that it was coming and you know blah Burkham cancer he wasn't looking for that course and poor here comes the crack to catch over the middle and that part and down at about the 40 yard line is Nate Washington when you go to the old man and a freshmen situation you go to the guy that you trust the most and in this passing attack even though with young guys like Kendall right Justin hunter waiting in the wings Nate Washington he's old reliable coming up on five minutes remaining Washington's first catch of the day that pass over the middle is complete inside the 40 to 35 and that's Walker right now you got to wonder if some fatigue isn't setting in here on the Seahawks defensive line they're fast for us last couple of times wasn't much to speak of which is a time late the ball game you kids got to find it from somewhere we're going to repeat Ryan Fitzpatrick and real even standing in there in the middle [Applause] and that is complete that's the first down close to the 25-yard line and Kenny Britt the lost receiver suddenly found here late in the game [Applause] I would assume for the end of the season inside first down from the 46 the traffic flow and that's complete and that's the lamby Walker and Wofford Piper's wave about the 16 yard line and that's enough for another first down Delanie Walker showing a little grit there he wasn't going to go down and again somewhere channels got a pig a little bathrobe and for the first time today Tennessee into the risk zone and preppers run wind coming back out [Applause] this packet hiro-chan tech all glue and Chris Johnson poverty well they got the fitzpatrick that time [Applause] he just loses if he did oh he just lost it going back he just loved the print on the football [Applause] Patrick strollers we end zone or sidelines nobody here there's a mistake bear two receivers too close together get an update from the NFL today in New York Denver's starting to stretch it out off of Jacksonville turnover nurse Knowshon Moreno goes in from three yards out pending Denver's lead 35:19 727 left in regulation back to brig and Dan alright JD thank you we have 303 to play in regulation going to see meaning a cut down the field goal top thirdly one to Katherine [Applause] ten sizing for well Ryan Fitzpatrick knew that he was looking at press coverage all the way across the board and what that means when there's locked up man coverage like that if you can escape the reaction from those DBS is awfully slow to come back in when you run down field and Mike Munchak needs to scored a cut-down an appeal goal but he'll take the field goal here this is a smart play the break says you just cannot the game is over if you come out of here without anything Bironas from 25 yards and there is the field all that he needs so now the decision we get a little juggling going on done now the decision on the Tennessee side line is going to be do we onside kick or because we still have three timeouts and the two-minute warning left do we try to force a Seattle punt while we have a moment get inside the mind of a quarterback Phil Phil Rich Gannon Steve Beuerlein Adam shine NFL Monday QB tomorrow 6:30 Eastern on CBS Sports Network the 24 hour Home of CBS Sports dan I would think I would think that the Tennessee defense has not looked particularly good the last couple of possessions against Russell Wilson in the Seahawk I think it'd be a no-brainer for lunchbox to come to kick it off and allow his defense to do what they do best there they're a good solid unit but I right you're right he's got to be a little tempered by how Seattle went down the field the last time and scored and if you don't think you're going to be able to stop that Seattle offense then you're better off giving the onside kick a try well personally I think the odds are more in your favor kicking it away and and forcing a punt than they are in recovering an onside kick I just think that I'm not a mathematician like altar on burner but those well Seattle is going to guard against it [Music] on sidekicks are a lot tougher because of the way you have to stay in a balanced formation giggity the three and get the good return out of it for 3540 and I'll spit off the 42 or 43 yard line you don't expect to give up a return like that when you got the hands team all crowded up there playing the onside kick you don't really get to set up and organized look how good the Seahawk players drop back they hustle back there got in position and walled off the Titans that's a lot of hustling going on by the Seahawks and that blocking unit on that kickoff your surgery last three possessions for the Seahawks a field goal a field goal and a touchdown turning the corner and we get a whistle on a timeout just before the two-minute warning hit jerel Casey almost stripped the ball away from Marshawn Lynch he almost got it number 99 so Munchak calls a timeout here and then he'll get another one in a couple of seconds with the two-minute warning here's link right there Marshawn fun all the way around to maintain control of that football the numbers for today Wilson 23 of 30 1557 I don't know that I'd have traded a timeout for just two seconds the clock was going to stop two seconds from now there's you know you can look at it number of different ways welcome throws that away on the corrector and now we'll get the two-minute warning at 1:58 boy when we come back he's going to be tight these defects would span the may need it now if they will get back into this game once touchdown different we'll be right back each team with two timeouts remaining keep in mind Russell Wilson has rushed for four first downs with Greg Tennessee the last couple times have sent guys up the field to keep Wilson from getting outside an old fashioned quarterback draw right up the middle - good night oh god of the moon Wilson going to go see it incomplete but that will be a first down it doesn't make any difference Tennessee's in the neutral zone Lavar Edwards offside number 98 deep in that five-yard penalty results in a first down great heart pound here by Russell Wilson created good Lavar Edwards the rookie out of LSU got caught at the worst possible time boy that's where you're looking for a trapdoor you'd like to get right down there and pull that turf up right over your head and a little on a timeout call for by Tennessee that's the second one they've used they have one remaining well it's just really simple for Mike Munchak you you use your timeout as quickly as you can after this next play and there you will get the ball back you will get the ball back if you stop them if you stop them if you keep them from getting a first down that's all there is to it Seattle will bleed as much clock off as they possibly can after Tennessee exhausts their last timeout and of course one first down five Seattle in this game is in the books Tennessee has come into a tough place to play a couple not usually the Seahawks very good second date first step and saving back well that as they say is that [Applause] and they used their last timeout to stop the clock with a minute 40 and how dominant in the second half has been the play of march on land he's been the difference maker in this game it's been tough gritty yardage for Lynch but between breaking out on that long pass play and then just hard ugly yards inside he's gotten it done 23 rushing yards in the first half 54 here in the second half and let's not forget a big 55 yard reception well no need for Marshawn Lynch here the most favorite for eyshan and football for one team the victory formation key handle will now gear up for divisional game at Arizona and rust me up on Thursday and out yes a short week and Russell Wilson is what now 11 and oh here another is really healed yeah which home crowd is getting a little spoiled watch the number three generate win dat win after win after win how about since moving to the NFC back in Oh to Seattle will now be 62 and 29 on their home field it's a credit to these wonderful fans who they they truly believe they're part of it so Seattle going to move to 5 and 1 on the season [Applause] San Francisco still leading Arizona and the Rams already a winner today to move to three and three meanwhile in the AFC South Indianapolis still to play now they play tomorrow night and Tennessee will go to 500 at three and three and one more snap of the football and put a W in a Seahawks column Richard Sherman played big Russel Wilson played big Marshawn Lynch played big and the Seattle Seahawks will get out of here with a 20 to 13 win over the Tennessee Titans that's our final score tonight on PBS begins at 60 minutes followed by new episodes of The Amazing Race The Good Wife and The Mentalist for Dan Dierdorf for all of us here at CBS in Seattle great double bang so long from the brief Northwest you've been watching the NFL on CBS you
