I posted this in the other thread related to this game today, but I thought it was interesting enough to warrant it's own thread.

With under 2 minutes to play, and the perfect Patriots losing by 4 points to the Ravens, Brady is stuffed on a 4th down sneak and it briefly appears the game, and the perfect season are over. However, the Ravens sideline called a timeout seconds before the snap and the whistle was drowned out by the Baltimore crowd. A few plays later, ESPN runs the footage showing that it was none other than Rex Ryan who called the timeout and prolonged the game for the Patriots.

After Rex's game saving timeout, a false start is called on Steve Neal, but then Tom Brady scrambles for 13 yards to convert on 4th & 6, and later hits Jabar Gaffney for a touchdown to win the game and get the eff out of Baltimore with the W.

Here's a bonus clip of a butt devastated Bart Scott throwing an officials penalty flag into the stands after the touchdown, costing this team 30 yards on the ensuing kick off just because fuck Bart Scott. This link also contains the entire game and is a fascinating watch ten years later.
