you've waited oh so patiently and now is that time where we bring you what else a little bit of gambling a little bit of skill and it comes to you in poker forum from fabulous las vegas nevada ali najjad alongside jamie kerstetter delivering another edition of the world poker tour and poker king high stakes home game 200 400 no limit hold'em once again on the heels of yesterday's fun-filled action we bring some of the same faces back and some new ones as well tom dawn the man they called der who took the poker world by storm in his twenties is back on the felt cowboy dan smith and bruno firth from yesterday also joined the party as does landon tice who is sort of the new tom duane i suppose although not quite as reckless as dwan was back then if we can fairly characterize it as that then you got jason kuhn one of the most beloved and respected high stakes pros on the circuit chris brewer joins the fold his first session and then kristen bignell will eventually join the party as well from north of the border two-time female global poker index player of the year and fiance of alex foxen who himself was i believe a gpi player of the year if i'm not mistaken yeah they accepted their awards together it was very cute a little you know made me a little nauseous how cute it was but right like just get a room oh wait a minute oh yeah just get a house you guys are already in that camp welcome to those of you who are streaming us on twitch from the suburbs of vegas summerlin to be exact we have a cozy little lineup and table put together for you here six of our seven players the other day where he uh he shoves sevens into aces like in like a really standard spot and he's like he stands up and he's like how do they always have it and then and then the flop comes like six five four and he's like whoa and he's back here [Laughter] he loves it he'll just laugh at you oh no he was cracking up it was like the most entertaining he's ever been yeah yeah he loves to see the pain dan leads out into bruno and now i see the flamingos jk are they all on one leg no some are standing on too yeah you're right firth was never caller with jack nine so first part of the day goes to cowboy dan smith and i think we would be remiss if we did not again call attention to some of his philanthropic efforts in particular he is trying to orchestrate some fundraising and we'll be matching up to fifty thousand dollars players with iraq the international refugee assistance program specifically right now looking to help some of those desperate folks as well they've raised over 18 million dollars for various charities over the past years and oh he took his patch off or maybe it's under the sweater oh yeah but uh a lot of that money was matched from his own pocket as well so pretty impressive i did the full run staggering 18 million dollars i mean that's meaningful money that can really affect some serious change certainly makes the game look small below and those those things you can't move it's like 50 below and your body can't move so like you're not really gonna know if something's going wrong yeah you must just lose feeling too i i feel like i get a lot more from just being in cold water than i do being on cryo thank god i hate ice baths though yeah they hurt but ice baths are terrible i like this cold plum getting in the window yeah i have it i know one way to wake up it's called adrenaline it's a hell of a drug you could just get injections for that yeah at this point it's got to be close yeah he's in sick shape yeah i'm killing the adrenaline injection he is still um you know that that and i don't have all the details of it but is it 100 meters there trying to have him run under a certain time or is it a 40 40 yard dash yeah it might have been a 40. he has some kind of bet and i don't even think he took the bet i think he's just doing it for fun now because he's a sick human being trying to uh break 11 seconds that's a 40 then right you know how guilty i feel staring at this kit kat that i never brought upstairs that you're gonna have for lunch looking up at this wildly emasculating visage of jason kuhn the human adonis and then to make matters worse seat two chris brewer who's joining us for the first time today ran a four minute mile in college just stop it i'm not joking yeah that's like two i've talked about this in the past the only running i do at this point in my life at the airport that's it there's no other running that happens in any other situation none they had the like it's exactly what we're talking about just the most dreamy off the best ball dude it's got this like giant like all black marble hot tub and then right beside it a giant cold plunge that's all black marble and it's just like beautiful panorama i think i was there one night you ever done the back and forth so the cold tub to the hot tub i do that lot yeah i do that a lot it's so brutal to get back in the cold yeah it was definitely the best hotel i've ever stayed at oh there you go yeah i think it was you recommended it to me so while i was in jj so i stayed in my trip yeah yeah now like any time there's a stop there i will be in seoul dude just the spa alone's worth it isn't it yeah so good wow yeah even haven't gotten what the hell is this that they speak of like i don't know it's just as good we've got some tweets coming is this i must know now right before the pandemic i was slated to go out to jeju and cover was devastated when they made the very right decision in hindsight to cancel that event and many others throughout the course of the year but i was so looking forward to it because for those of you out there who have not yet traveled to asia you think you know top-notch hospitality and hotel service but until you go to the far east how rich i am you really don't understand the caliber and you know what the problem is not like edible stuff it's gonna be stem cells it's too expensive i'm gonna give you my i'm gonna give you my ali who didn't have all that much money in his 20s travel hack i've talked about it in the past turkeys really didn't want i'm sure it's very nutritious but come on you gotta you can sleep by the pool you can sleep in the quiet room if you like and then you also get a massage on top of that and you can change and you can shower you can do everything that you need to do you can keep your stuff in a locker at a fraction of the cost of actually having a real that's the sharp sizes you're talking about eating stem cells i mean that's pretty pretty damn close to eating a like my parents had me like skiing and wakeboarding when i was like three years old but like what yeah look like a three-year-old now they could barely walk yeah so stevie sent a video of my life i was trying to cross the street we're on vacation and a guy waves us across like he stops across not seeing that there is a car coming the other way my dad takes my ponytail and she hangs me back off nights here okay she gets called living in uh vancouver for like six years i got spoiled whistler every every winter i've never been to whistler actually it's still supposed to be a really fun town dude it's ridiculous so beautiful the architecture is awesome the little town is cool it's just the culture is cool it's like all aussies somehow it's like random anywhere you go pumping the brakes on the turn bruno playing control checks back and blink on the river they get some kind of uh i think it's a visa some kind of student visa thing to come up on the mountain and work it's really great it was a ton of um i was getting one time at like taos in new mexico and like those yeah a ton of australians they just love to get down yeah i love the ski i mean utah's house is like six hours away there's some legit mountains here utah you drive like six or eight hours from here there's some legit mountains i've never done it but oh no utah might be the best game in the world yeah i've never skied anywhere there it's like that's the claim is that they have the best snow in the world oh cool i can't even fathom better better snow than i had in japan but i'm willing to try where'd you go in japan nesco yeah me too yeah i've been there it's just a lot closer to tokyo and it's also amazing but in a second listen oh my god i was there and they're like this is the worst powder we've ever had you're right you went like a week after me the same year it was like two years ago you're with rui right yeah yeah i was up there like like a week before it was it was like end of 19 or early 2020 yeah it was right when right before coach yeah it was when did these guys become the most worldly people that we know the worst it's ever been smith dwan and kuhn have all skied miss secco in japan i mean i thought i'd been around i've done colorado i've done wyoming jackson hall i've done utah i really like the town yeah i'm like listening for all recommendations i know really nice going there as an american as well seeing prices thinking like oh like it's ski town prices will be inflated and then remembering that everything's at 20 discount because i'm used to usd a couple of aces are squaring off and right away in the window the trouble card for jason kuhn who is out kicked against duan the pre-flop razor plague yeah [Laughter] [Laughter] very i just go as hard as i can and then just crash at like 6 p.m so see if it's a mountain i haven't been to i would like to spend like a whole day on it well if you're there for two weeks like if you send it trips when i when i do long trips a half day every day is just so nice you just figure out what extended trips you're like start to get tired and you can just call it because i guess whenever you're on that run and you're like i wish i was home it's rough yeah 8 600 out there that's but close to full pot and now comes the raise from dwan and i think as played for your trip it's just so difficult for to get away from his hand especially against an opponent like dwan who is always going to put you to the test and doesn't always have it earns himself action in spots by virtue of that ski boots it's like taking off a bra i wouldn't know really yeah i feel like you might i wouldn't know i said yeah he walked up to me one day at all yeah he's just in a dress he's like hey there's no chance that's true yes well you know it's just completely true must be somebody else in the maha shirt oh yeah you met my twin you can see the way this thing came down jason just defended his big blind against the standard open from dwan check called the 1k on an aside board and then it went check check when he made trip aces of course here he is out kicked on the river after leading out for 4 000 and getting raised seems like he's made the decision to call not gonna win a lot for sure i've rolled high three times in a row i'm gonna give you the money my friend yes sir oh i didn't even notice he was randomizing anything he said i rolled high three times in a row what was he doing i didn't see him roll anything but he was messing with his chips a lot and stuff but i didn't now i got to keep my eye on it did you ask talk about that concept by the way jamie for those who are less familiar there are situations truly all of the information leads you to half the time you should do x and half the time you should do y and so players will employ some methodology to arrive at a decision more complicated than that like some frequencies okay 20 of the time i'm gonna do this i'll call you know it's a low frequency call or something like that so a lot of players have different ways to randomize when they're playing online they'll just have something where they press a button and it'll give them a number one to a hundred and it'll be okay twenty percent of the time i'm gonna call here if it comes from uh one to twenty or for some people to be eighty to a hundred they call so when you're playing live you don't have that some people look at their watch goes okay if i see that the second hand is in the you know top from 1 to 15 i call things like that it's crazy i never notice when people are doing it because so many people have different ways of doing it right but yeah it's a way our brains are really bad at randomizing uh well yeah because you have some real biases advice you feel like you want to call so you stop you know you don't really go i'll just call this time but then maybe sometimes you call five times in a row because of that and all of a sudden you are not balanced at all picking up the action here firth raised pre dejuan defended his big both players check the flop and the turn and firth hits a jack on the river finally gets to betting easy exit for queen four say one of the more common ways to do it um for people who want to be uh you know a quarter of the time you do something let's say a spade in your hand means you play it more aggressively if you have spades if you have king seven of spades in the small blind that's the hand you decide to three bet if you have any other suit you let those go i know people do that cause it's a lot easier than looking at a clock or a watch or spinning something big green guy duane patching up playing for the home team with the poker king logo i thought he's my center yeah i really appreciated that is there a randomizing game stuff you play not at all i mean there probably should be but i don't have any method i kind of look up and i'm like you know your face suggests i should fold or call so i use maximum bias as opposed to randomization but i think you certainly while you're out there are aware of the need for balance sometimes you realize you're opening in too tight a range and people are able to get away from hands against you and you're like okay i better open it up i maybe should show down a bluff or two just to continue to earn some patronage firth involved again here has flopped to 10 against coons king high on an ace high texture he does not see bedded kuhn who flatted on the button checks back now a third heart on the turn bruno comes out firing and we'll take it down first play is a considerable amount of cash games here in las vegas the 5100 no limit over at bellagio one of his stomping grounds he's also i understand been splashing around in some of the 300 600 mix games that happen over at aria on table 1 formerly known as the ivy room he's certainly not scared money no and it's funny because whenever you come across someone like that you know obviously he's a smart kid he's managed to do well for himself in poker you start to question whether or not there's like a real connection to aptitude or if someone's sun running and i'm not taking anything away from bruno whatsoever but the decision to jump into like a 300 600 mix game and try to learn certain games at that limit crazy certainly seems ill-advised yeah and a decent amount of card sense you're like let's go you know and i think also having big bet sensibilities not just limit games and in that 300 600 they play a considerable number of big bet games in the mix really helps right understanding sizing really taking a lot of the fundamentals and the mechanics of playing no limit hold them and then reapplying them to crazy other variants it's nice to give action like that too where you know you have less experience with their players but you know you're like you know what i'll take a shot i can donate a little in this game and learn some stuff and it's probably fun and sometimes you're not donating sometimes everybody's flustered because they know that you don't really have a finger on the pulse so they can't put you on a range or they can't it's not unlike what we witnessed during the ladies night on the first of these high stakes home games with nemo and alexandria you have to pick what you're reading and then yeah it puts me to sleep too fast i'll read like two minutes we'll say also that's pretty great when i message bruno hey you want to get involved in this game what's the lineup and all the reasonable questions you would ask when investing fifty thousand dollars he goes in and they tell the lineup he's like cool reading right now this book called chaos it's like a um deeper investigation into the manson murders and it's probably not the best bet or a book to read before bedtime but who are your top five favorite serial i'm killers going to go there but [Laughter] he's like i only have three it's fun but it's kind of like a little bit too much kind of conspiracy type for my taste but it's fun to read jamie's number four for me stealthy i hadn't thought about it i'm darker yeah i would rather be the publicized murderer so my family experiences a lot of emotional trauma [Laughter] long time because i'm trying to play catch up i'm surrounded by all you highly educated smart people i am remarkably uneducated thank you for the last 10 years like everyone i'm around so well read everything recommending me some of my favorites and oftentimes sizing like this which is full pot plus has he ever pitched you on name of the wind polarizes he knows that i'm on the range and bruno decides that the polarity is on the credible actually very general like kind of everything that you could think of but just like trying to nice bluff by chris um a lot of the stuff i've been into it's like uh like the bill bryson stuff um i don't know if you know any of that like a book on australia was awesome and then a short history of everything i bought the body but i haven't read it there you go yeah so like him you've all know harare sapiens type stuff um economics just random stuff where i'm trying to catch up dan says he's remarkably uneducated then rattles off like 17 books yeah i don't think i can hang out with the tenth third i've got to get what they're trying to say and like because the one yeah he's just gonna think i'm remarkably fraudulent you know who makes me feel the stupidest of anyone i've ever hung out with sam grafton anytime i talk to him no we have great conversations but he'll be like did you read this did you catch this podcast have you seen this play have you been to this like everything i talk about he has 12 recommendations for things i should read and do and i'm like man is sam british yeah and he i feel like europeans in general are just they're just smarter they're just more well-read better educated and he just literally every time i talk to him like i feel like i've never read a book in my life like he just he knows everything well jason kuhn knows enough to know that ace queen typically is in good shape in a spot like this but unfortunately for him he is coming up short against chris brewer's ace king bruno firth is caught in the crossfire after flatting with a7 suited and there is the four bet bruno drops off his 1k package and now back over to jason and when you've chosen to play ace queen like this jamie you understand that a decent percentage of the four betting range includes the pocket kings and the ace king in this spot now granted we block the aces and the queens but you really end up in some real difficult spots you don't want to make a habit of three betting to 5k and then just laying down but at the same time you recognize your vulnerability and jason does make the call big 25k pot here paired board so some possibilities for to chop and that is a remarkably small follow up at jamie on this vortex one sixth pot and is sitting on just 22k so that could be part of the reason wow and just let's go like just over the raising goal like 40k yeah no no i had uh 34 or something 36. it was getting cold it's a little a little aggressive oh copy says four bet call ace queen off out of position must have been a hell of a role [Laughter] it could be a thing where he's like one percent of the time he's like roll the one okay yeah i think it probably is more of a factor i think chris brewer seems like a very aggressive player it might just be hard to lay that down we're still early on in the session too so there hasn't really been a bunch of table image established there haven't been a lot of showdowns sounds like i was uh 75 25. you had me yeah unclear whether or not any of these guys have spotters that will be watching the stream on a delay and relaying information back to them regarding specific situations just to kind of help navigate the remainder of the session i was just trying to hit a queen or hit an ace and rebound yeah with the suited ace raises it up and flops top pair on a nine high two diamond flop bottom pair and a gutty for dwan gutter ball nuts is pretty fun for and rounded checks promptly yields trips for landon let's go understandably takes a shot with the five seven leading out for 2200 getting called by landon he's like the guy just called 12k let's take a photo sucker no his life is better than mine he can handle it i don't know if that's true i have a really good life there's no doubt about it i literally every night i'm sitting there going no way man yeah that's what i'm saying yeah it is true it wasn't always like that though of course you build to it a lot of luck too but definitely wasn't always that way duane check folds the river deciding that landon's 4k is credible and there's a look at how the stacks are shaping up so far dwan and firth both in the black along with chris brewer see the profit and loss there rough start for jason kuhn jason has played in some of the biggest cash games on earth in particular while participating in those triton events which draw out so many uber wealthy asian businessmen recreational players who enjoy gambling at the highest stakes and a quick google search will yield some pretty incredible size pots involving jason kuhn that's actually very enjoyable as a poker fan to just see him actually be uncomfortable in like a two million dollar pot like you don't see it you see these guys just always making their decisions yeah some of the ones streams in the cow i was like holy crap you know my favorite thing is watching a professional poker player who plays pretty big stakes with regularity almost groveling to run it twice when the money is all in there because you're talking about life life-changing sums and they understand the variants better than anyone just and the other guys you don't want to ruin your whole year with one bad run out right and the other guy's like no we go once just to see them squirm that's the enjoyment that's you know the cost of admission they're you know probably losing player in the game some of the guys are billionaires they're just playing for fun they just they they're playing to get that expression from jason sure they're like i need maximum variance yep the less variance the more likely you are to just shear me meanwhile smith opening with the ace 10 suited and that was a good and honest one i promise probably folds the king jack even after he takes the photo of you you still throw it in the mic that's the ultimate professional no he has to he can't have another photo taken well the picture was obviously of shrek mostly the shrek was already smiling where do you buy a flamingo short sleeve button up good honest you think that's like a thrift store special i would or do you think that's a recently manufactured garment hot topic spencer's gifts spencer's gift is all gag stuff but i like where your head's at heads up at home he had like just lost like some big paw and someone came over like are you andy from the bike did i get too happy right now i'm sorry going for the walk is is the similar process but like if you're sitting at the table and you are just going to like steam off your chips if you're already going for a walk sure it doesn't help but if like you're sitting at the table and steaming just the the process of i'm going to end up looking it probably happens to him a lot more often than happens to you so it's going to be like a little bit of a difference some different experiences have taken place i mean i know it definitely tilted them all because the next day when i showed up he was like we gotta decided with ace jack that he wanted to put in a third scoop didn't shed chris or bruno but on the ace high two spade flop both of them check fold to the follow through a lot of times when i take stock jamie and i don't know if you feel the same way about the fact that i never ascended to these sorts of echelons as a player granted when i was in my 20s and when the heyday was going on i played as big as 800 1600 wow which was humongous i um think a lot of the biggest games are now no limit games whereas back then there really wasn't a lot of big that getting played chips i wonder is it that have enough gamble is it that you just really have to genuinely have some level of recklessness careless abandon for money and be willing genuinely to just go bust which i don't think i ever really was you know to get to these to these places where you're like oh yeah i was all in for my entire bankroll like brewer was talking about her saying you know i don't even know how much the chips were worth and i got in there a whole lot of my net worth on the line in this pot in manila where i sweat at the river you know i would never let myself find it really easy get into those spots as good as you can you think that's that's what separates you and i and the majority of the poker community from the folks that we're looking at it might and it also might just be like a genuine belief in themselves that if it doesn't go well this is a good spot like i'm putting my money here if it doesn't go well i'll build it back up it's that like going bus maybe isn't scary if you just know you can crush you also know there's people who invest in you and i don't know i don't have it either it's not a given though that people are going to invest in you right and it's not a given that those people i've only had two you know refreshing for your oil school but it doesn't count ability so you can come back an extra year of school and compete yeah like four-year school so i checked it over seven years that he was in college because he had vegetables and he got a medical event because he like broke a leg or something and then he had a covet yield oh my god it's really common uh tom with young quarterbacks for like big universities they'll redshirt them every time as a freshman just so they can develop physically and get to know the program and then they're almost always like five-year students with four years of actual play yeah exactly that's cool they're getting paid now yeah that happened that was last year or something right this year how much are they getting paid uh it just depends so they can go get deals with companies now so the school's not paying them but agents think of like sponsorships and stuff i won't be surprised if uh selling schools have a lot better at all sounds like not surprising myself athletics programs are always in the top and they have an apparel that was literally crafted for my exact dimensions was made and delivered and then when you're in the working equipment room and you just see all the stuff you realize these guys do genuinely have what makes a good best of what's available it's pretty sweet it's super nice just huge it has stands they had lots of different uh dimensions to indoor tracks too they're not uniform there's some that are like 300 meters some are 200 meter this is a 200 meter with a really good bank yeah so some of them have bank tracks so you can like hit the turns like banked it's pretty sweet it's super fun but then your calves will like destroy yeah and you're wearing the spikes that make it hard anyway it feels so weird though when you like actually step off you're like oh yeah did you ever run in blacksburg probably not virginia tech no they had a really sweet indoor track yeah i think they have something out there they have like it's like the week before nationals qualifying times i was going to say they had these three rehab and they had cameras in the tubs that would allow you to see without true weight being placed on the athlete their gate that they were running and they had like underwater treadmills and then the bottom of the basically like big jacuzzi would come all the way up so you didn't have to climb out it would just lower you in and then bring you all the way up and they have like tvs up against the wall a lot like rutgers had some good stuff too and they had like e-stim treatment they had a bunch of stuff to get you healthy when you got hurt and i was like 20. i didn't need it then give me that now i go for a jog i'm like i need the ice bath i need easton i need someone massaging me what would be the equivalent of that in poker college it would be like the world's softest one-two no limit game and you just like get to go and play that for a few days feel good about yourself i partied some but like i just lifted weights and waited to go sprint over and over and over again that's all they wanted us to do in progress here when chrissy b was the pre-flop razor do sprint workouts vincent brewer defended is big and after one check check with top pair against middle pair brewer let out having turned sevens and sixes chrissy made the call and on the end this ace makes him slow down and yeah like double sevens and sixes for the point guys would be really serious and focus for like two or three months at a time and then it would just be like one week runners because your training is so it's just attrition for months you know party with some of the hockey guys right after the season ended they were the biggest animals i've ever seen hockey and crew team crew team were like the biggest party animals ever i one guy broke his arm riding a refrigerator down the staircase at their house i've enjoyed numerous methods of transportation throughout the course of my 40 some odd years on earth refrigerator i've yet to count among them he like tobogganed it down the stairs it looked really fun until his arm got mangled which involves tobogganing a pledge down the stairs certainly did happen i never captained such an apparatus myself but i did bear witness to some of the more intoxicated upperclassmen it's definitely not the worst it's not really not the worst it's ten thousand i'd say for me the longer the warsaw was yeah ten thousand is how many uh it's six point two miles yeah nine nine hundred plus like all training was still kind of fun like we got to like spend yeah run fast 400 repeats yeah exactly like that's fun to do psychopath it's got to really you just got to really love it no sprinting around the track over there you two sprinter i was an okay division sprinter i mean it's okay i want my state title in high school and stuff but i'm from west side so it's like you know but it was cool yeah i had a lot of fun i won conference uh as a freshman we had you know we won three of the four events i was in the gut shot straight draw but then my sophomore year i got really hurt and it was just like i i came back from a surgery and i was wasn't into it and i never put up the same times again that i did just how'd you get hurt for my hip flexor running on an uh indoor track because of the bank probably more i just um you're always hurt as a sprinter like like you're always sore because you're you're trying to max out on squats and vertical and everything you do is super super explosive so if you're not fully recovered you can just tear stuff like you know because you're basically your strongest and your lightest that you can possibly be at the same time and you're just always willing to just hammy's just always ready to go basically so brewer made an attempt to take it down on the flight with the two i remember it happening because it was like suddenly it didn't hurt it felt hot like i was like throwing down cranking a turn and i just felt like kind of like a bump and it just felt my whole hip felt really hot like somebody put like a warm compress on it or something and then it just like filled up i was like oh yeah wow you need a surgery after yeah yeah yeah i put a bunch of mesh on my hip and i completely tore you know thing off my hip bone basically just bruised from my bottom my calf all the way up into the lower back how long does it make the heel not long like the flexion takes one down yes collegiate injuries yeah just that's kind of the cool thing about tendons is like you know like it's just the achilles yeah not the achilles you're right you're killing like a lot of tendons just like hey we're gonna stick it back on the bone and once that heals you're good to go you know whereas a muscle can be really cantankerous and like just keep pulling and they put a mesh on my hip and i was just like one thousand i was basically good to go um but i just i don't know man i didn't have it after that i didn't have the drive for it and it was like there's something my mind couldn't get around being like if i peek say i run like a 10-5 like like physical peak basically i'm like the 300th fastest person in the country you know it's like it's not the same what's the point of working that hard to be a 300 past person that's kind of what i ran into like into college where i was like i could have like post collegiately but like 800 best case scenario for me is like i really develop everything goes perfect and i like make the final at the us championships but like that'd be it that's the training is insane yeah it's so hard that's back door there's just no glory draws the ladder of which come through but three hearts on the board check and like cool thing and a sad thing about the olympics is like you watch these people and it's like they've given up their entire life for this moment and like it's awesome they have this great thing but like they're making no money off it whatsoever it's like peely just to say they need this person to come in last minute and they fly him in from cleveland he's talking about how he cancels the full vault yeah yeah kendrick level tested positive and they they talk about uh talking about how he's like oh it was lucky i had like the whole road to myself and i'm like you're coming in for the olympics someone should come in these stories come from that we went to the university of wisconsin and obviously it's pretty cold there i milked dairy cows that's a big thing in wisconsin then we went and did curling i mean you gold you know danced with the lactose intolerance devil for a while but it's a cheeseburger there's some other stuff that should keep it together cheese curds it's it's the new capable it's over won into 12 and this has been really the mo for chris brewers these over bits and you see how uncomfortable it can make your opponent because even if jason suspects he has the best hand and comes with this 14 000 call he'll be out of position in a 40 000 pot on the river with a texture that may get even worse and we've seen chris brewer about 2x pot in the river too you might be facing 52k if you want to see if your jack is good it's that sort of planning ahead that really influences the decisions at these moments in pots oh and you saw jason sorry about that felt like he wanted to make the call and then just rerouted at the very end so nice execution there from chris brewer and i think chris understands too that there's a decent amount of jason's range when he check calls on that flop that could include a jack and after the queen comes off if chris was just seabedding with a sort of standard range that would include a queen it's not unlikely that he banked on the turn and do we really want to spend 14 on the turn in an indeterminate amount on the river to find out curiosities can be very expensive to fulfill what's up chrissy b finds not one but two aces on this board along with a spade for backdoor flush prospects sitting very pretty against jack 10 which is not going to be all too interested in this board and sure enough smith lays it down he did bring that cowboy hat game like this you should be able to start to recognize that no two approaches are exactly the same and even though there's game theory optimal which a lot of people have have adopted as sort of the objectively best way to approach the game and then there's some exploitative things that you do as you deviate away from that there truly are tons of different styles and you see chris brewer on the far more aggressive side of the spectrum tom juan also could be counted among those and then people who just play a much wider variety of holdings pre-flop and are willing to three bet with them and the turn now top card strategies are radically different it's really imagining stuff when you have like a flush draw or something just feels so different just like you know how poker games are like i i assume like a person who plays a ton of plo and then begins playing no limit they're like they're not going to be sticky enough in spots because you just have good cards a lot in omaha right and like when you play a lot of short deck it's like the average hand strength is so much stronger that no limit is hard for you like at least for me it's hard for me to find the little nuances unless i've been playing a lot ah that makes sense yeah no no if i've been playing pizza for a while and like go back like it'll be like the bulge pailed and i have a flush and i'm like oh for sure finding you know whatever nice little value that on the river of 7200 gets called that's kind of like it's like no showing her challenge beat myself up about that but like all poker is is like finding the best spot you can and being good at that spot and then like you know if a bunch of tournaments happen get go to tournaments you just can't be good at everything and live a balanced life it's just impossible or your best at everything i should say it's the hardest game though so it's i think it's the most fun it was fun yeah yeah it's by far the hardest of the three games that i play race one thousand the hardest yeah i think it's all over the place yeah a lot you can bet more than a pot in the limit yeah i mean no and like no limit there's so much mixing and plo your side cards kind of so it's just no limit but if the call comes out you know i don't it wasn't just i don't think you needed the exact suit i think it could be any of your card and then you get another one and then you match the pot and there's the there was a way you could i mean just picking low calls has to be a massive edge i don't know if you can get this there's a way you can get better taking something like um we haven't played it's been like have you ever played i have yet to play but i'm very excited he truly has a photographic memory he loves merkel um yeah like a turning stone like me tomorrow casey idea and i was just keeping this story of like not having it for like 30 minutes i was just going like lie after lie at a certain point it was just like this guy isn't buying any of it like seven pounds hey man i'm just 16. i just thought it was fun to gamble that one's like okay you can cash out your money don't come back until you're ready surprise you let you do that and it was the funniest thing because as soon as i turned 19 they sent a letter basically inviting me because you know i was like well it's smart my uh like something like that he like played probably six months never cashed out any chips or anything yeah had a fake and then like on his 24th 12th day he went to cash out the chips and handed them his id and they just looked at it and they just felt laughing because like oh you just called 21. oh that's strong i'm not necessarily talking about the 1200 open from chrissy b which has jason queen's ace eight and about like you know what the biggest game is 25.50 i just showed up one day with like 80k and cash i was 19. they're like hey sir where's your id so i just like oh let me look for it i just kept pulling out bricks of cash i assumed they'd be like now of course you can play 40 tickets it didn't work i would but money i thought a big pile of money they're like oh of course they're twenty more third do you want the campaign right my friend tried to do that with um bellagio north ballet you need a noir card to valet there and they asked for his noir card and he just he had like 200k in cash or something and he just like started pouring cash onto the passenger seat like where's my card where's my card they let him go in oh it worked yeah it did work at aria i was running late and they were like oh sorry it's only more cars i'm like hey man here's a hundred dollars parked my car the guy says no look at this jesus i mean what do you mean what do you mean wait this isn't that shape after automatically [Laughter] yeah that one i was just like you know whittle he's like this guy could go yeah he knew who you were yeah mcnell calls the 2400 and then added troubles for jason kuhn on the turn that's like he improved yeah but chrissy b jack's full to start a new new private game that's what if there's a one-two game they might not want to like undercut it but for the most part i think they're pretty liberal sometimes aren't tables going but or sorry sometimes there aren't table space but for the most part if you're trying to pay 200 a half they'll do it every day sorry guys that's the you didn't used to be allowed to do that definitely not in fact people from the bellagio would get banned for like poaching players which i respected and like like prided itself to be like we have open games but that's no longer the case it is really complicated yeah poker has evolved and become very political when it comes to the private game scene and i think we've talked about it on a number of occasions a lot of people don't understand one day came back the next day why they can't simply come in sit and play in any game that they want but i think like just speedy mando into the guy and then the guy just stands up and goes back i mean it says like you know at that point i deserve to lose got you good there yeah like the guy just like speaks bandwidth now there are so many people who very limited really failed to see the bigger picture with respect to creating an inclusive environment and as much as being more inviting when it comes to playing in the live environment they would berate new players for oh man honest mistakes or you know inadvertent slow rolls or taking too long um they certainly wouldn't offer any social value at the table and as is really what i like most fewer and further between the new players who are willing to pay for their lessons if they walk in and they play the spots got bad and so suddenly those players who did kind of see the bigger picture started to create insular environments have their own games and say hey listen you're not welcome you know you're an extractor you're somebody who offers nothing to the game and does nothing but take you don't deserve it and exact structures same players you know i see both sides of the argument but i tend to think that it's the byproduct of uh the bad actors out there and uh just kind of the evolution of the game even the card rooms have decided that if you pay the right amount that they will go ahead and allow you to run your own list steal the game as a service and i think we're going to make it really got galvanized jamie when covet hit and people had no choice but to play online and here in the us there are some sites which you are allowed to play not necessarily legally but you're sitting home with nothing to do and for a lot of people it's a livelihood you were certainly going to work your way into there and then there were private clubs you know you gotta have the right password you gotta have an invitation otherwise you can't play with us um here we are the lowest stakes i wouldn't 510 at borgata uh a whale got up to eat dinner they waited so he walked out of the room and everyone got up to eat also he like game and also i was like it was a bunch of regs where i'm just like whatever we trade money for an hour who cares but no they like and this guy knows what's going on when he comes back to his table and it's empty with the chips there oh look the game failed again that's offensive so dumb it's just short-sighted and dumb but private games rubbing the wrong way too i don't know what the answer is private games can be pretty phenomenal though if you're on the inside yeah if you're somebody who does get the invitation oftentimes it could just be so juicy speaking of juicy that's an alien moment speaking of juicy yeah the sultan of segway jamie kerstetter landon really hasn't been on the winning edge of these confrontations with bruno good morning for the better part of this session and he is certainly in bad shape here as firth has the goods and see the problem is that i mean you start to get into your own head when somebody holds over you and it seems like they're for betting and five betting and they're picking on you and then you look up and you see flamingos and a mohawk and you're just like this guy yeah he's definitely picking on me i'm not folding you like that so the four bet to 9 500 does get called by landon who would love to see a 9. but instead it's troublesome seven high and rainbow outside what we would presume the range of bruno to be with a larger frequency of his four bets being on the upper crust of the deck dead six dead six yeah getting seven into twenty just shy of four to one to land in on a call he didn't really take much time before making this call now four to a straight on board landon can scoop with a nine or chop with a five all of the other cards belong to bruno and bruno fairly confident that landon's calling range after that four bet doesn't include any of what's out there decides to barrel again 17 500 targeting those other over pairs landon calls the 17 500. that's not going to help him get away either credit to bruno for continuing to build this pot too on the turn where i don't know you know it can get a little scary i think there's some ace five suiteds hanging around in in london's range what do you think about that or is that getting folded they're only 70k deep i don't know i think the ace fives fold and this is beautiful execution here from bruno who i think recognizes exactly where landon is at in these sort of middling pairs obviously once landon does not snap call on the end we know that we're not up against a set of jacks so two tens two queens two nines in the sword are exactly i think where bruno has landon and he also understands that this all in looks like potentially just a desperate ploy to take a pot down with three streets of bedding under his breath poker so hard and you feel for him as he is certainly in the early stages of his career but has had a pretty parabolic ascent into these stakes not long ago he was really grinding small yeah no limit games online and took the initiative to reach out to some scholars of the game and for whatever reason he managed to win him over and they have decided to get involved in helping make a real player out of land entice he had a great month despite the bill perkins bet where he had to back out um he won a lot in tournaments during the world series bracelets two cards i'm sorry i think he had like 150k a month or something like that so sorry confused it is so deflating when you lose a big chunk like that and when you tend to feel like you're losing it to the same guy over and over you start to get into your own head showdown if they get there which they will brewer checks back and it'll be disappointing to know that he had the pot scooped until then but you better bet that he'll be taking over the fact that dwan left with a7 suited from the small blind important to be balanced in poker and not do the same thing with the same sort of hands all the time pattern development will be exploited by any worthy opponent yeah i did want to mention too because a lot of times on twitch we get a lot of new players or people who are just getting interested in poker so private game conversation we had does not apply when you're first starting out it really is when you start to get to higher limits um when you're going to play one two or two five at a casino you sit wherever you want you change tables whenever you want no one's gonna block you from playing it's more when you get to like nosebleed stakes that people are starting to run these private games you show me the east five you show me and the other benefit of floating which is calling with a hand that really isn't anything to speak of on the flop is even if you are unimproved on the turn if your opponent happens to check to you on that turn you can do something like what dan's doing here just a one-third sizing looks so credible like please call me i've got good stuff smith could certainly have an ace spades or a queen and yet brewer understands that he's up against a very sophisticated opponent so he makes the call with the two jacks now the board double pairs on the river i wonder how dan's going to handle this situation not really any he was like shocked like really it's a huge part of my strategy you knew him he didn't know you until you told him he knew who he knows he's like he's pretty unexpected like you knew move but you think the other guy isn't going to like step up and like take pick up the gauntlet and he backs down i guess like the high levels of that you just go you do like a sub-optimal move that's like response yeah about an aggressive move even if i came to the consensus that it wasn't best i'm like man i just thought about it for 10 minutes see what happens i i've two checks in front of her no reason to slow play on this texture i played a tournament in iceland where you get 90 minutes for the game and then you remove an additional 30 seconds i was like there's no way i'm going to use any of this time i only play three-minute chess on the internet it's going to be so i used all my time every game like greater than 90 minutes yeah i had i had a similar experience in my first go tournament where i played like fast games with friends casually six on the turn three hours that tournament because i just never thought about the game deeply just like in one my first game i just thought about it more than i had ever thought about it before the flow games are really how you improve yeah like the downside is they're not that much fun right i play almost exclusively two plus one i've definitely gotten worse recently yeah 7k in the middle so slow with the mouse then like once 500. you feel like this like you swear not convinced just yet an expectation for yourself because you have so much time to like not quote unquote squander it just because it's there or taking more time but because you have it no like playing long chess games there's no way i would take my time enough oh i don't have i don't know i think sometimes like sometimes you think about it and you're like is the queen better here or here right it might just not matter right like you you also don't know 450 to four and a half million and i also had twitter perkins like called and it was just like it let's see it happen and then he's like you know what i don't want to like presume i like the chest i'm people that play their whole lives and don't get grandmaster that they tried to yeah i guess i didn't really like trying to never masters i would assume most people couldn't make how many grandmasters are there like it's a lifetime achievement it's a lifetime achievement award so like a lot of these people here in the 70s golden and chrissy to fire the third barrel like once you get it you get it for life what do you what would you need now it's you have to have to do really well in three tournaments like have big performance in them and get to 2500 feet a that's the same as 2100 that you have or whatever so i'm 2100. you have to get 25. so you have to get to a point where you're like 95 percent versus me in a game i think so i mean getting respect once more and to be fair she's had it again i mean also is the best person that you want to have a lifetime sweat against yeah that's what i was thinking but i also like the first time you like hit a plateau and you're just like i've been like well guys can play it transform people competing in like sports can you just say i identify as women and play in this tournament isn't that a thing happening now and like i think it's whatever's on their driver's license i don't think you can just show up and be like i'm a woman i'm playing this tournament like there was like one high school wrestling story that got picked up yeah i mean nice you know there's so many of them but if it was like there was only you know 40 a year or something i don't think that it just isn't the same you know you want to compete yeah what i would concern is that say if you're a female getting into poker that it almost makes it seem more intimidating i don't know it's like a subconscious like did somebody follow him to whatever game he's going to i guess i've had some really fun tables and some really not so funny but just think about the first time you played you walked to a table sat down and it's a bunch of dudes they're not looking at you like what are you doing here so it's like a lady who's never played a table where she doesn't get looked at like what are you doing right she shouldn't be playing just think about the first time i played the ladies yeah i have yet to do it thank you appreciate that i guess 10k now technically right technically guys like they have to buy it for 10 000 yeah versus one ticket so if you want to play with it some incredible people have have any guys played for the 10k right multiple yes like it's a personal thing yeah and when it comes i welcome all to that point i mean are they just harassed the combinations pair and straight draw combinations that she could get to fold with the third barrel too i would think well there will be no folding on the end by bruno and this becomes a matter of he's like i'm gonna go take a nap and he stared at a wall for four hours but thought he was thought he was asleep terrific asked me why i've never done any of that stuff and i feel like i played pretty sick 2010 i was with steve gross who loved to smoke weed when he played and he was amazing online tournament player and he's like i'm telling you it'll help you zone in this and that i was like dude i don't think you understand i don't really smoke weed i was like just try it out and i had this is back when we you know we ball tabled 16 tables whatever and i just fell asleep in my computers with 16 tables up men cashed a bunch of tournaments i've won them today it's one of the best days you have yeah i was just like asleep on my keyboard just like out that's the last time i smoked weed i [Applause] 2012 and i played this this cash game at the win for maybe like 10 hours and the game broke and it was like 11 p.m at night and that's kind of like the middle of the sunday poker tournament yeah and i was just like you know what i'm just gonna like have a couple coronas and just like chill and play like the million and the 500. yeah the stuff that's worth it yeah just fun stuff and uh i was one of 22 in the sunday million and i fell asleep in my computer and blinded out you got like 13th i don't know all the way out all the way up that's insane that's why i wanted 222 in the sunday morning me and a bunch of i mean you must have been so exhausted i was oh i was so exhausted i should have never played those tournaments yeah yeah that's pretty brutal i mean i'm thinking like obviously for that like you're gonna do everything you can to stay off sure that's sick and i'm not not just talking about chrissy's back-to-back elves living by yourself but i was uh one out of 22 million and then fall asleep because she was with me and i was like hey keep me up and she's like wow she's asleep check oh i'm keeping you up so you're flying in stupid tournaments oh my goodness another ace king for chrissy b and this time she's running into a much bigger pair 3 500. at least the positions are a little merciful but being under the gun of the gun one maybe there any way this doesn't get to be a blood bath well today's king suited tends not to be a flat calling kind of hand out the best hand and knock him out i was real i was high but i was like yo i know he doesn't have he's got nothing and this guy's got something but i gotta do something about it and sure enough some of those reinforcements are 12 000. torched he may just flat though what do you think super crazy thing to do on the boat yeah of course but i think it's sort of inescapable i'm just really rooting for christy can you tell him maybe maybe nothing bad will happen to her if you're jason you have to be attaching what you're seeing right now to some extent to the fact that she lost his pot one hand to go and then the big one to landon just a few hands further back do you see that he just called all right ollie yeah yeah but i mean this could put her in even worse shape oh my god give me a break dearly beloved we are gathered here today to mourn the loss of all remaining chrissy bucks all the best words actually kind of fun um that means we're betting on flop colors yeah yes i do i got blue he makes the call in green i think he's got to be pretty confident that he just watched the case ace off the deck given the way that this played out it's small 200. there's gotta be triples though i mean especially with this setup i feel like i feel like i'll feel like jason's trying to take my spot maybe there are some worlds in which chrissy decides to follow through on that particular board without the ace but even if she had there's no reason for him to raise because then she can't pay anyway right very true never going to make a customer out of those holdings yeah do it do it anyway set a nine set of sixes just don't seem very likely it's more specifically pleasing for her to be for betting yeah yeah we have to add more colors i like red black blue way better you can even change up the colors you can make it blue black right here no i can't a little bit wary decides to check stack pot ratio of one is not going to bode well for her to ever get away from this wow a check back from here oh my god there's a stop it's just mean this is just torture the king clearly no straight card no flush card and she's blocking the set of aces and kings and with the check back on the turn by she just has to believe she's got the best hand i didn't even notice yours 11 000 souls you consciously hear it lost in this fire and this is where jason put some kerosene on it she's got to be hoping for a chop it would feel like at this point though aces thank you well if you ever wanted to know what it's like for even one of the best poker players around to get cooler than have to get right back up on the horse feast your eyes as a wild down swing for chrissy b respect though when they say there's ten minutes left and said chips please yeah loves poker well not now not at this very moment she doesn't but she is stuck two by ones you heard a sympathetic that's gross from dan smith on the internet nothing's i'm not exactly yeah we're done 1000 race 3 300. all right so she's probably not a superstitious person but if she got 18 clubs again three hands in a row what do you think she'd be thinking same respect you guys are cheating i would i wanted to snap muck it better than mine i want to look at everybody very intently and just send it right into the mug just like yeah nice try guys yeah last time i had at least ace high sweet at least the worst suited face height why are you really doing it you're really doing something over there huh she'll make moves on me this time he had queen nine of spades one thousand hit me with the queen nine spades huh well the rich portion of the deck appears to be rising to the surface here bruno with two kings ace nine suited wakes up what do you think you go set mining out of the big that's a good question it's always a little uncomfortable when you're not closing the action let's go spin in the wheel that bruno doesn't have a hand that can re-raise this time he is going to get some bad news and while maybe there are some occasions on which bruno would choose to slow play these kings out of position against landon with kuhn in there he is far more incentivized to apply pressure try to whittle it down to heads up and capture some dead money up waste no time mucking the h9 and he leaves jason alone on the island pretty deep you go set mining here or too much of an investment for being um out of position pretty close eight and a half thousand with 20 in the middle getting just about two and a half to one on the call which is not the right odds for hitting a set by any stretch but the implied odds are there and the implied odds are a little tricky when you're against someone like bruno because he might just be kind of empty he seems to be a little loose so when you do hit your set you don't always double you got to factor that in a little bit right yeah sure good point although when he's four betting how light is he and this is actually a really problematic board i feel like for jason as we see firth smashing quad kings he's a pip up from the seven on the board which doesn't rate to be a hand or a card that's involved in bruno's range here and now it becomes sort of a guessing game as to whether or not bruno four bet with a pair here i tend to feel like the ace king is sort of the bottom end of his range here although we certainly know that he's capable just because it was a three-way pot i don't know i'm talking about the unpaired range obviously i don't think the deuces through sevens are involved now the board double pairs check really doesn't change anything whatsoever for jason bruno just has so much hand here can't blame him for checking back he's completely nutted now the ace might be a saving grace for jason because the ace highs that maybe he was catching now just hit a pair boy if he makes this milky sizing i'm really interested to see how jason will react if he comes with like 13 000 yeah right a little more weight to it than we anticipated but nevertheless it's in that value range but is it in that range because he has a value hand or is it in that range because he's trying to tell a tail that is the decision that jason is faced with here let's call you the dumbest hand you've ever seen i'm seriously about to call you the most ridiculous thing i'm not even kidding i'm about to call you the two eights in my hand not only does bruno believe it he encourages it and that's not jason just being some kind of tough guy there when he says that he's trying to see bruno's reaction you agree that bruno doesn't value better nice on the end here he just goes to showdown with it i think so stupid do you think he'd value that i mean now i think he should now that eights are thinking about calling but i wouldn't i mean it's just so stupid i just really think it's like the dumbest hand like something really silly i mean these are the spots it's like they're just you're probably just a really good poker player and if that's the case this would be the worst call ever i actually do feel like something really silly and the actual worst possible hand i could ever have here is eight of clubs eight and this one maybe leisure shirt flamingo edition is doing its job here it's absurd like it's so stupid but i really feel like you're completely full of this is what live poker is all about landon so you get here with some wonky ass hand you're not even supposed to have and you look at a man and you say you just don't have it that's where we're at that's where we're at today the problem is he bluffs the suit of kings and suited aces so like am i just wasting everybody's time here maybe i don't know or maybe maybe you just have jack nine suited you're doing something god my old man wisdom just just telling me you're full of or you just have the whole board that's a thing too what am i doing working through it okay 12 24 75 and i guess i definitely don't have to do that grieve is close flop is close river's not close but i really won't call you man you gotta do this is such a garbage man just take it so scared you're gonna call me save us for 30 minutes yeah so scared [Laughter] no no this is lifeburger you tank for four minutes and tell someone you think they're full of so you get to see their cards for free and whose fault is that i thought you were full of the whole time it's the mohawk and the flamingo shirt man this guy's weak and then i was like oh my god they're they both many four bets oh yeah i can't have kings was it what he just followed guess where the eights ended up seriously race one thousand i mean yeah is that the exact of the eight of them entire hand made even [Laughter] with the cold call then i'm like he's like oh lana's gonna get him and then you get in the mix i'm like oh my god what's what's happening here my brain's breaking just talking about nobody get her who's got aces in this right he's like who's got a boring session and then right literally last five minutes ten minutes what could it do is this real life and now what is going on there is a glitch in the matrix right this is crazy that's so absurd if bruno flops quad eights here and i gotta say chrissy knows there's ten minutes left she just gets stacked while she rebuys and watches a ten minute hand i would be like ready to jump off the building crazy well round two what's the most ridiculous call you've ever one odd he better put the insane one against nikki p that has to be up there that one's insane nikki uh honestly seth davies just looked at me he was mad i call it just about a different an entirely dissimilar texture crazy what's going on here can i pick up what what monster hand says is this stone's casino wow i mean his hand was a lot more reasonable let's be honest here i put in 12k free well we're 110 kd but still what's going on i didn't realize crotch reads oh my god right fine jason what's what's the most insane call you you've ever made that my i called bryn kenny with ace high in a spot where i could lose the bluffs in the super hot roller bowl i mean the problem is like most of our like great calls that we made were probably just terrible yeah yeah agreed like that's really like the best call i made best call was like it was completely insane and i just you win 15 of the time yeah you i was did genius it was a terrible call but it was a long time ago i had i also made another call one time race in a like a wpt 10k where me and this other dude were like mega chip lead and i like this is way way pre-solver but like i made like a just like this outrageous call because i was so certain he was full of and he just had quads and kind of like this just like this well i'm be honest yeah i wasn't certain you were full of but it felt like it i thought there was a chance i don't blame you a lot of money going in for you to be full of but it could have happened you could have four three suited again i mean we both knew he was full of no i just knew i had kings a thousand hey i thought you're a little late to the game and you think fundamentally back in the day i have a lot of outrageous problems but like i've definitely like made bad bowls making bad folds is so much less fun than making bad calls this is up for coomb rather this one should be over quickly no no nick doesn't text me i just saw the hand you notice players are so used to just complaining about the cold instead of asking to turn the temperature up because we're used to casinos they could have just said we're cold i'm like okay and what's amazing is uh in the new highlander resorts where we play there are actually thermostats on either side of the room revolutionary we got very accustomed to being able to choose our own temperature and then one day we come in weeks into being there and we cannot choose our own temperature and they're set to like 66 and an arctic blast it's like the seven seat in the two seat right under the vents and you're sitting there spending more money why whose idea was this four levels somebody who's definitely a dad because that was a good dad do not touch the thermostat you know they just took it too far do not do anything differently than what you're doing is landon's thought as he has flopped the world is full of jacks versus blind against dan smith yeah he actually gave me like a 10 second tank that's a man right there that will call you with a bad hand there's a lot of pretenders out there that say they'll call you the bad hand but that's a man that will call you with a bad hand i was scared it didn't have to last too long yeah tys gets no action i haven't flopped i think i only flopped one full house i haven't had i spent at least a four house and one no i know i had two pillows you thought one four of a kind in the pod already had twenty seven thousand dollars you're doing just fine you're doing just fine 28. i had my uh that wasn't my hand by me the whole way i did have a club i did have a back door on the flop you had some help just in case yeah what's up i was wish your hand could have been just like one pair worse yeah yeah only one pair yeah we got him we've got him real good cumin flops a king well that looked like a mandatory called seven raising yeah i'd be like i would just i don't know i'd call the fbi on this place you're me too i would still call them i was winning way before they got here that was when i was winning way before any of this happened caught a hanger sergeant [Music] that way he'd be a little deeper for it it's a real long card to get them hold up how much was that 25 000 well i mean this is pretty brutal here as nine jason's thinking finally i get a clean run out and suddenly landon comes out bombing i got a big i got a big hand you just hit me with it here you guys so jack in his hand blocking i would love to hear about this hand after maybe we interview landon this might be just a zero a zfg kuhn said if you're bluffing me it would probably be jack nine which is literally what he just said just stop it it's real easy this whole time i thought that the cards had backs on them little did i realize wow that x-ray jason here just looks right through him and how discombobulating is it by the way when you're sitting there trying to hold it together and your opponent just soul reads okay and kuhn trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together here he raised pre landon flatted on the button jason somewhat under wrapping his hand by checking landon checks back then the 10 rolls off and landon bets 3000 which jason calls and i think that queen jack is really all that's on jason's mind right now because it certainly is the kind of hand that would be in landon's button flat range so well jason had a front row seat last time landon pulled something like this against chrissy b and he had ace eight having made trips up against chrissy's king i gotta say landon does not look nervous we see his feet under the table looking a little nervous but the rest of them is good question for you ali do you think that landon makes his bet targeting a hand like jason has does he expect the king 10 to fold here or just a one pair kind of i don't think he has jason on kings up yeah i mean maybe a king or a an ace man oh i thought it was going in there are they done at seven no matter what jason decides here just tip your hat to a man that understands this game so well it's the muck wow wow you said jack nine so i got to show the jacket that's really impressive 25.9 well got one of the only bluff soldiers trying to bluff jason yeah you were bluffing two with quads pretty ballsy out of land entice there kind of stuff we don't see a whole heck of a lot of anymore almost 3x pot in river it's a blocker kind of cool i think it makes the game far more interesting 120. once upon a time as we mentioned tom drawn who was playing with us earlier was the man who used to deliver that secret sauce a lot more complicated when you're flying flat bets and turn bats when you think the range of the amount that you're going to face in the river is somehow capped at 100 pot and it's just not anymore and you're like whoa when you're calling turn it gets a lot a lot more scary i was folding to idle size this is some picturing you know how you can set the actually you're not you don't play online right i did okay you could set the percentages you want as your buttons oh yeah picturing and having like 280 percent race race one thousand brewer steps out with a 9-6 suited certainly never going anywhere with this ace queen off suit makes the call and flops himself a two-way straight draw on the jack 108 board looking for one of those nines that brewer has sewn up and he's got an open ender which he will follow through betting 3 000. pretty quick call out of landon 16.6 in the middle and now a pair of sixes for chris which jumps into the lead and this three bet came out of the big blind so chris is out of position that's the kind of board texture that you can rest assured a good chunk of the time as this pair of sixes smashed for landon tice that's those big aces like he has that the sixes are in front of and so brewer carries on betting full pot and landon calls the 16 000 and you better believe jaime that this isn't just a function of his draw but he wants to see what chris is going to do on this river as backdoor clubs show up and brewer does not have a club check waves the white flag in a way but has showdown value at the six and landon did not think twice about checking back jamie i think maybe just a little bit more thought once he was presented with that opportunity to maybe put a bet in there and take that pot away [Laughter] dan smith is so entertaining to me it's funny we broke up the four color deck and then it was like online poker it was like that we triggered something deep yeah and the amygdala seems pretty easy what happened i'm not doing it six more suited last hand of the night smith sprinkles a dime out there chrissy b flats with the sevens and now bruno wakes up with ace king out of the big blind will he play nice yeah it's for you guys thank you very much oh yeah much appreciate it thank you thank you rick nell will take one last crack at clawing back some of her losses on the session with these two sevens let's see what kind of board texture the stub has in store for her 14.6 in the middle and the sevens are still good but staring at two over cards bruno with the king of clubs and the two overs has control of the bedding but is out of position at 4 500. better 4500 gets called by chrissy and that's a very clean turn card for her pad up to 23 and change now and available obviously king of a so you get put on the blender oh no off suit off suit king you're in the blunder officer king yeah oh you have ace queen yeah okay yeah i don't know i thought when i said hi on him yeah he's king yeah he said hi all one yeah yeah i got king queen too i guess okay the king queen suited check i guess yeah bruno doesn't have another barrel in him i mean jack 10 8 no obviously you get to the middle yeah yeah i didn't think you were checking back king queen yeah i was not unfortunately i did not have the king queen i would have i would have got to win the pot if that was the case maybe yeah maybe we would have felt it chrissy steps up with a bet of 7 500. long con all there ever is and will be how sticky is bruno feeling like getting here certainly a lot of draws on this flop jamie that didn't come in on this turn i told you yeah the ace i'll see you i'll see are they the sorts of draws that she would have called the third scoop with queen 10 10 8. probably not tinny and you know what there's this weird feeling when last hand is announced yeah you just don't know if someone's like desperate to try to win a pot i think they're all professionals and probably not like that but maybe you add five percent oh savagery here from bruno check raises all in nice hands just a snap fold from chrissy b so um to the very last moment warrior spirit bullying chrissy b off of those two sevens and yielding himself an almost sixty thousand dollar win on the day dan smith couldn't quite break the 100k profit margin but still 94 in change not too shabby whatsoever almost 50k in profit for chris brewer landon tice was in the hole early but ends up winning 30 000 in a rough outing for jason kuhn but it was uglier at one point tom dwan left early leaving behind 63k and then kristen bicknell the late arrival just gets brutalized in a couple of really unfortunate situations the ace king against the two aces right there with the two sevens bruno moving her off the hand and just the hero call gone wrong versus land entice yeah yeah just rough day you know and put it in perspective couple buy-ins though it's just rough looking when the but when the binds are so big like this yeah and also when you're a late arrival and then the game just wraps up and where do you go from here but obviously it is one big long game and these are professionals we certainly hope that you guys
