20 Must-Have DOLLAR TREE Kitchen Finds for 2022! 😯

hey everyone it's sarah jane with chicken the cheap and today we are talking about my favorite kitchen products from dollar tree i'm so excited to do this video because i've never done one that's been solely focused on my favorite kitchen items from dollar tree so i rounded up all of my favorite products and i cannot wait to share them with you i hope you guys enjoy this video i did want to thank single day i have a bunch of these in my home and it's their stimulus wine glasses now i will say i am sure these are great to drink wine out of however i don't drink wine i just use these as like my everyday drinking glass and i put this up against my ice maker and also in the dishwasher and i have not had a single one of these break so i do feel like they are very nice quality they're super beautiful and they hold a lot of liquid too next if you open any of the cabinets here in my kitchen or even any of the drawers you will see this vinyl top liner it is so great not only is it very useful it's very beautiful too dollar tree came out with this last year and i was so excited to see it it's in this really beautiful gray marble print so i love marble and now all of my drawers and shelves are protected and they look really good i just moved into a new apartment but i was able to get my security deposit back for my old apartment because i had this everywhere protecting all of my drawers and cabinets and i did the same with this department because when you are a renter it is just so great to get that security deposit back because it is money that is yours and you should be able to get that back at the end of your lease and also if you're a homeowner it protects the value of your home and most importantly it's going to help you not have to clean up a huge mess in your cabinets or your drawers okay so next how many of you guys have bled over aluminum foil i definitely have that sharp edge just will cut me sometimes and it's just not fun and then also how many of you guys have looked goofy trying to roll back up wrinkled aluminum foil you know you pull out too much try to put it back on the roll it never looks the same you end up with this like really silly looking roll of aluminum foil that you can't get back in the drawer i've done all of that and this next product is such a game changer for me i couldn't imagine my kitchen without it it's one of my all-time favorite dollar tree products and it's these pre-cut pop-up foil sheets by reynolds wrap you get 25 foil sheets inside of each box and i know that's not like the best value when it comes to the amount of aluminum foil that you get but i found that each sheet is like the perfect size for covering up food or even like when i'm baking or cooking and it's just such an easy and convenient way to use aluminum foil and i'm a lot less wasteful just because each sheet is pre-cut so i love these so much let me know if you guys have used these as well if you don't have them in your kitchen you definitely need to pick up a box and try them out every kitchen needs a good pair of scissors and if yours is without some you should definitely go to dollar tree and pick you up some of these they're so good they're scissors by betty crocker and they have rave reviews on dollar tree's website people love these and for good reason they're just an excellent product for a dollar and 25 cents they have a soft grip handle they also have blades that are really durable and sharp and on the packaging with these scissors it does recommend that you hand wash these which will make the blade stay sharper for a longer period of time but you can pop these in the dishwasher just know it might like dull the blade quicker than normal but hey at a dollar and 25 cents if you find that these become dull you can always just buy another pair i think these are fantastic and just an essential kitchen product from dollar tree next i have a question for you guys have you ever used the dollar tree's knives and if you have what was your opinion on them did you like them did you think they were really bad i feel like dollar tree has a really bad reputation when it comes to knives however i found that i like these two pretty well for a dollar and 25 cents they look really nice and they also cut really well too they are stainless steel knives if you're just in need of a knife to use every now and again you don't really need to spend a lot of money when you can just get these at dollar tree so i did want to mention these two as being two that i would say are pretty good quality at dollar tree the next product that i want to talk about is this cutting board and i think it's such an awesome dollar tree item it's double sided so you can cut up your vegetables on one side and then your meats on the other it's dishwasher safe and it's also very durable despite being pretty thin but i like the fact that it's thin because it's not going to take up a lot of space in your cabinets or your chores you can store it vertically because it does have this nice handle here or you can store it flat however you want to store it i just think it is such a great little product for a dollar and 25 cents and just something that i feel like every kitchen should have these condiment bottles are also another one of my personal favorite dollar tree products they are great to store dressings in or any kind of of course condiment that you would like you can also put pancake batter inside of these and it makes making pancakes such a breeze and then any leftover batter that you have you can just stick in the refrigerator so i love these for that purpose too they're just a lot of different ways that you can use these condiment bottles and it kind of upgrades your condiment storage as well if you have a bunch of these so that's just a little like refrigerator organization tip too now i think most people watching this video know dollar tree is a great place to go to buy cooking utensils they have a really large selection however my personal favorites are the ones you can just stick in the dishwasher and not all of them you can so you want to make sure you look at the packaging to see whether or not you have to hand wash the utensil or if you can put it in the dishwasher and just for example this little set from dollar tree is very cute however you have to hand wash this you can't put this in the dishwasher so this would be a great little gift item just you know something that you could add to a gift basket for someone to use every now and again but for me i really want something that's going to be dishwasher safe and something that i don't have to you spend a lot of time cleaning this next dollar tree product is great for anyone who loves eating apples like i do it's an apple corer and it's very very useful i tend to have at least one apple every single day and i reach for this every day to just cut up my apples it's really easy to use you just place it over the top of your apple and press down and then you have some beautiful apple slices without a core and i cannot say enough nice things about this product so simple but so amazing as well and speaking of fruit these citrus squeezers are great to have on hand and no you don't need to you just need one they both do the same thing however i think it's a little fun to be color coordinated so the green one i use with limes and then of course the yellow one i use with lemons but these are really great to have on hand if you like to add a little lime or lemon to your food or even to your drinks they're great for cocktails and i do find that using these i get a lot more juice out of the slice of fruit than if i were to just hand squeeze the slice myself this funnel set from dollar tree is so handy to have in your kitchen you get three funnels for a dollar twenty five cents you get a small one a medium sized one and a large one and these are so great if you have storage containers for food that have a narrow top i also like to use these funnels for cleaner i will take cleaner and put them in the small spray bottles from dollar tree to use around my apartment so i like doing that and using these funnels makes that such an easy task to do but there are like endless amounts of things that you can use these funnels for and it's just a great item to have on hand in the kitchen okay reason back clips are really expensive i'm always shocked when i go down to my local grocery store and i'm in the chip aisle and i see how much bag clips cost now if anyone knows why bag clips are so expensive let me know down in the comment section below but you can get sets of bad clips at dollar tree for only a dollar and 25 cents i picked up this set i just thought these were so cute and you can find something similar at the container store for a lot more than a dollar and 25 cents just very very similar to these and they work really well and here's an insider tip next time you're in the laundry or organization section at dollar tree pick you up some of these jumbo plastic clothespins you get six for a dollar and twenty five cents and these make excellent bag clips so you can use these on like the big bags of potato chips or the big bags of cereal or if you like to buy like large bags of dry food for your pet use these they work excellent sometimes you might have to use two clips but i have not seen a value like this for these size clips anywhere else in dollar tree or any other store so that's just a little insider tip these measuring cups are such a great staple to have in your kitchen from dollar tree and i'll tell you a little bit about why i love these so much you get eight measuring cups for a dollar and 25 cents they come on this little ring here however if you want to take them off and hang them up individually inside your cabinets you can do that too because they do have the little holes on each handle and another thing i love about these is the measurement on each spoon or cup is permanent so as many times as you put these in the dishwasher the measurements are not going to fade away i have found that the betty crocker ones from dollar tree the red ones they fade over time so you don't know what uh you're measuring exactly so that's just something to keep in mind these have permanent measurements on them and then the betty crocker ones have printed measurements that fade over time in the dishwasher so just another thing i really like about these this next item i also feel is kind of underrated at dollar tree and it's this mixing bowl it's top rack dishwasher safe it's got this handle here and also a pour spout and it's a really nice size i will say that if you do put this in the dishwasher make sure you peel off the label before you do because if you don't you'll never be able to get this label off but this is awesome for making pancakes cake batter anything that you have to pour into a pan i love using this for and then don't miss out on the mixing spoons at dollar tree you get four for a dollar and 25 cents in different sizes and don't throw away this little holder here at the bottom because you can keep these in place in your drawer so that's just a little tip there don't throw away the little plastic holder at the bottom unless you plan to of course keep these in like upright storage but if you want to put these in a drawer and keep them nice and neat keep that little plastic piece at the bottom one thing that has changed a lot in a good way at dollar tree over the past few years has been their tablecloths they used to have just like really just not attractive looking prints on their tablecloths or you would just get solid colors and now you have a lot of really high-end patterns to choose from specifically i really like this one it's like a medallion print it's black and white it looks very high-end it's very well done so if you're in need of a tablecloth you should check out the kitchen section at dollar tree they have some really nice ones to choose from now and they're a lot better than they used to be i love having toothpicks in my kitchen but i do like them to be organized and pretty easy to use so that's why i love this set from dollar tree of toothpick dispensers you get two 4.25 cents and each dispenser holds 100 toothpicks i feel like this dispenser works really well and i love the fact that you get two for a dollar and 25 cents because i can have one here in my kitchen and the other in my craft room next let's talk about food storage and there are a lot of different containers to choose from at dollar tree but i thought i'd focus on the one that i've been using the most and it's this little glass bowl with a lid i have several of these and i just find them so easy to use they're the perfect size for my needs here in my kitchen and i love the fact that it's glass you can see through it you can see exactly what's inside of here it's got an airtight lid and the glass bowl is of course dishwasher safe so it's just super easy to clean and here recently i've been using this to save dips so i will buy a lot of pre-made dips for different occasions and if there's anything that's left over i'll put it in this little container slap the lid on there and then it will keep the dip fresh for days and days so that's one thing i've been doing here lately with like the super bowl and then different nfl playoff games where i've had people come over i've been using these and i even had a birthday recently so i had dips in here as well so just love these i think they're great and there are so many uses for them but that's just how i've been using these here lately now i did want to say i've seen a lot of new food storage containers at dollar tree and i saw these recently so i thought they were worth a mention just because of their size specifically this one this one holds 12 cups and then the smaller one that matches it holds eight and these are bpa free and dishwasher safe and these also have measurements on the side and grips on the back or like indentions to make these very easy to grip so i love these i cannot wait to use them and i think they're a great new dollar tree product next is another new item that i want you guys to be aware of at dollar tree it's a set of stainless steel drinking straws i think these are so great you get four straws for a dollar and 25 cents you get two that are straight up and then two that are curved at the top and you also get this little brush tool here that will help you clean the straws now another thing that's really great about these straws is that they are dishwasher safe so what you'll want to do is after you use them you'll stick them in the little basket in your dishwasher where your utensils go and you can clean them that way but i cannot wait to use these i have paper straws that i use here in my home have a lot of them however over time sometimes they can get a little annoying because they do tend to break down in your mouth and these aren't going to do that so i'm really excited to put these to use next is a product you don't know you need until you need it and it is this hot and cold bag and this you can find at grocery stores for a lot more than a dollar and 25 cents and at dollar tree you can get it for a dollar 25 cents but it keeps food hot or it keeps frozen food frozen it's reusable you don't need ice and it holds up to 30 pounds so you can have these in your car if you need to transport food from the grocery store maybe you have a long drive or maybe you are taking food from your house to a friend's house and you need to keep it hot or cold like ice cream or like a hot casserole something like that i just find these to be very helpful i do live in florida so if i put anything that is frozen or cold in my car it's going to be hot by the time i get to my apartment and i just find these to be very helpful to have on hand and even if you just want to put some drinks inside of here to keep them cold while you're by the pool these just work so well and it's just a great little bag to have in your kitchen or in your car and here's a fun fact the back it's in french and the last item that i have to share with you is a kitchen item that i didn't know i needed until i had it and it's just made my life a lot easier and it's a pizza cutter now i will say that before i got this the majority of my life i would cut my pizza with just a normal knife and it was pretty difficult sometimes if you get like the thick crust it's just hard to cut through and this has made all the difference and i know a lot of you guys out there liked a pizza cutter it's going to make cutting pizza a lot easier but if you don't have one of these in your kitchen pick up one of these from dollar tree by betty crocker it's really good quality it gets the job done and it's only a dollar and 25 cents all right guys well that's it those are
