- These are the top 10
things you should be buying at Dollar Tree this July 2022 and with so many amazing new products, this could be my best
Dollar Tree video yet. In the first spot, I'll begin with a bit of an eyeopener tied to
the travel-sized items that have been freshly restocked with new product options at Dollar Tree from toothpaste to mouthwash,
shampoo, and conditioner, all of which are a dollar 25 and with travel incredibly
popular right now, this is not a section you wanna overlook. And compared to a retailer like CVS, prices range from a buck
50 to almost $2 per item compared to Dollar Tree,
where they're all cheaper. Brand new, fridge storage bins which are large enough widthwise to accommodate rows of cans,
and they fit well side by side. As you can see, I'm now
using this in our fridge. The outward-facing handle
can also accommodate a label, meaning these could work in a
pantry or a medicine cabinet. And while we're on the
topic of organization, the bathroom caddies
that you see right here could work just as well to better organize cleaning
supplies under a sink. They're available in black or white. I bought the white one, which
is now in use in my home. Many of you have mentioned
the Dollar Tree Plus sections arriving at your local stores where prices range from
three to five bucks. You wanted to know my personal opinion. Well, I'm not a fan of
higher-priced items arriving at Dollar Tree and point two, I did come across some
interesting finds beginning with the premium kitchen items which I was excited to see. Beginning with these
non-stick pans at $5 each, I wanted to ensure they lived
up to their product promise so I put them to the test. I was impressed although
these are hand wash only, which is not my favorite feature, but the non-stick coating is effective. I like the premium insulated tumblers, which you would never see
at a Dollar Tree prior to the creation of this
Dollar Tree Plus section. Cutting boards and glass
bakeware of a sizable nature, more akin to something you'd see at a Target retailing for a higher price. Now available at Dollar
Tree for five bucks. I purchased these blinged-out
sandals for my wife which I'm hoping she'll like. And as a dad of a brand new baby boy, the baby car seat mirror at
five bucks also caught my eye. Large wicker baskets and
premium-sized storage cubes that could accommodate blankets
or pillows are much larger than what you would
typically see for a buck 25. And speaking of size, the
fall signage selection at five bucks is well beyond anything in terms of build and quality that I would have previously
seen at a Dollar Tree despite my disdain toward a $5
price tag at a dollar store. These are really impressive. Stick around for later on in this video where I detail what
purchases I would avoid from the Dollar Tree Plus section. In the number three spot,
we return to a buck 25 and the new ice cube
trays in round and square with the pushable bottom to
more easily dispense the ice, a great companion for summer beverages. And if you've never before
considered plastic ice cubes, these are another fan favorite
as they cool your beverage without diluting them. A two-pack of BPA-free large bowls, which you could use for salad or for other barbecue accompaniments made by the brand Sterilite, new
at my local Dollar Tree. Also brand new, these
colorful kid food trays in cafeteria-style formation,
and some really cool shapes. Great if your kids are picky eaters. A unicorn or maybe a rhinoceros, which is how I'm going to interpret it. An elephant that possibly
made it with a dog, available in this green-gray color, and a confused cat tray
as the final option. Also new at my local Dollar Tree, I bought this sponge holder,
which attaches to the inside of your sink and is now
in good use at our home. And my daughter, Mara,
loves these drink tumblers. They're plastic, available
in multiple colors. Also ideal for keeping your
family hydrated this summer, the new water bottles
that you see right here have a straw and a sippy
cup lid two in one. In a moment, I'll put some
brand new cleaning products to the test, but first for point four, if you're doing any type of
hosting this summer, stirrers. Inflatables which also include
this pineapple decor option, a four-pack of ice cream
bowls and four spoons and tall drinking summer glasses, all being served up as new
summer-styled themed options at Dollar Tree, including
these portable tumblers. And how cool is this? If you have any tiki
torches in your backyard or on your property,
citronella-scented torch fuel, brand new at my local Dollar Tree as a fun way to deter mosquitoes. I also found these lovely oval tubs, which, in my mind, just look
like a glorified ice bucket. I'm sure they've got many uses,
but anyhow, here they are. In the number five
spot, it's cleaning time and some great car products beginning with the brand LA's Totally Awesome, and a new cleaning product from them that I am going to try,
oxygen orange degreaser. It's made in the USA, and this degreaser apparently
functions as a spot remover. I decided I would put this to the test on our often neglected
older basement stove. And as you can see right
here, it works wonderfully. I think it's well worth the
$1.25 price of admission. I found the timing a little
weird for this next product, LA's Totally Awesome wool wash. I thought this was a strange
product for the summer where many of us are not
sporting wool garments, but I have since learned
from a fellow shopper who also happened to be a YouTube
viewer, which was so cool, this could also work for delicates, including silk pillowcases, really anything that needs a gentle wash. The Armor All three in
one car disinfectant that you see right here is now available as a full-size product. Not one of those little
dinky squirt bottles. This is a great grab for $1.25. I should mention none of
this video is sponsored. Dollar Tree is not paying
me to make this video. Seven-quart car drain pans. I don't quite understand these. I assume this is for oil leaking from the bottom of a vehicle but my question is, if you
have that much oil leaking, don't you have a much larger issue? If a car expert is able to enlighten me on this product in the
comment section, please do so. And finally, I purchased
the car odor eliminator, also made in the USA. Available in black glacier,
which sounds like a fun cologne or the new car fresh
version which I bought. My car no longer smells like the chocolate cheesecake I consumed in my trunk from Costco. Although it doesn't really
smell like a new car, either. It smells good if you are
considering this purchase, just not a typical new car scent. In the number six spot, It's
a product that I wish I had during my 4th of July barbecue. By the way, I hope you all had
a wonderful Independence Day. When I'm setting kitchen timers inside, I typically just yell at my Echo but when I was outside barbecuing and I didn't have my phone by me, I could've used this
$1.25 electronic timer so I am including it
for any future grilling. Veggie brushes, another
product that confuse me so please feel free to
weigh in in the comments. I usually just clean my fruits and veggies under the sink with my hands. Is this brush supposed to provide an additional level of cleanliness? Please fill me in. Hanging lids for mason jars,
great for summer DIY projects. In addition to these decorative lids which can easily turn any mason jar into a beautiful flower arrangement. In a moment, I'll handle
back-to-school shopping so stick around for that but
in the number seven spot, while school's not in session, new kids entertainment options, including sensory pop toys,
which my daughter is in awe of. I purchased her the pink one, which she has not yet put down. A pack of 100 water balloons is a buck 25. The swim masks that you see right here could also come in handy. I love the water balls, the throw toys, alongside many other outdoor
games and activities. Many of you responded
to my temperature pole, indicating that the temps are
well over a hundred degrees where you are so for indoor entertainment, sticker and coloring books
in a variety of options have been updated this month
at my local Dollar Tree. This is random, it's a safety cone. I don't know why I'm including it, but it seemed like an
interesting purchase. If you're doing any type
of backyard activity, a kid's birthday party,
maybe helping a grandchild or a niece or a nephew
learn how to ride a bike in your driveway, here you go. In the number eight spot, back to school has arrived at Dollar Tree, and I'll try to be cognizant of the items, which would otherwise be
less expensive from Walmart. But I was impressed with
the stationary essentials and locker accessories, including magnetic and cactus-themed locker
mirrors for no apparent reason. Craft caddies for paint brushes, glue sticks and other art accessories, book storage options which
would be great for both shelf and potentially locker organization, backpacks that, in terms
of durability and quality, would likely be best for a preschooler or kindergarten student,
zippered pencil pouches including translucent neon
options, faux leather, and as a returning highly
popular product from last year, the plastic school supply
bins are now restocked. In a moment, I'll expose
a Dollar Tree purchase you might wanna avoid but
first for my next point, by all means, purchase
this beard trimming cape. Not all heroes wear capes,
but if you have a beard and you groom yourself over a sink and you don't wanna make the sink dirty, you are a hero if you put this on. The equivalent of this product
has a list price of $20 and a sale price of 16 on Amazon versus the buck 25 Dollar Tree pricing. Although I will conclude the man on the Amazon packaging is
significantly more handsome with a more luxurious beard. Detangler brushes, great
if you have tangled hair or a personal vendetta
against conditioner. You could buy these. A wide variety of combs and
comb sets are also available. To store your various hair
and beard taming products, there are some great new storage options that could also
accommodate shower products due to the drainage holes. For the next point on my list, I'll share some more captivating
Dollar Tree Plus finds and also show you what to avoid. Starting with the stronger
Dollar Tree Plus finds which are surprisingly enough tech items. These headphones, as an
example, look really similar to what you would see at Five Below. If I were to compare
the stores side by side, the headphones, which are
identical from both retailers for the most part, are $5
with Dollar Tree Plus pricing. While at Five Below, they
range from 5.25 to $7. Another example, premium
organization items. These new shoe organizers and
clothing storage identical to Five Below's offerings, once again, 55 cents cheaper compared to Five Below if you are purchasing
these from Dollar Tree. Other decor options, including flowers and faux potted plants, also 55 cents cheaper at Dollar Tree versus Five Below pricing. On something like a basketball which would be a great grab
for the summer or the fall, the pricing is identical
between both retailers but there is one section to avoid or at least pay very close
attention to price comparisons, full-sized premium cleaning products from major brands like Downey, as well as Dawn Powerwash as an example, which is $5 at Dollar Tree. At Walmart, the exact same thing, 4.94. I realize it's only a 6 cents difference, but that does add up quickly. I'll do my best every month
to compare the prices for you but do exercise caution toward the Dollar Tree
Plus pricing as a whole. Now for two final bonus
buys, both at a buck 25, there's a new selection of
water-enhancing drink flavors including Sunkist, Welch's,
Crush, Hawaiian Punch and even A&W branded drinks. And don't forget the sunglasses. If you frequently forget,
break or sit on your sunglasses and refuse to buy an
expensive pair like I do, the options at Dollar Tree are polarized and actually have some
level of UV protection. And there you have it.
Thanks for watching. I love you, bye-bye.
