(dramatic music) - [Stephen] All right, Hunter, what have you been up to for the last two months? - So we currently all been talking and we realized little Hunter here, she actually can't form memories yet. So we've decided that we're going to do
these little video diaries every two months to update her on what she's been up to so when she's older, she can look back and see all the milestones
that she's been having over her first year of life. - Which I think is really cool that we live in a time where we can kind of film and capture
all these moments for her cause I think that'll be so cool to look back on when she's a bit older. ♪ Softly ♪ ♪ Looks like a blanket I'm wrapped in ♪ (Jess laughs) - So since day one, Hunter has been such an alert little baby. I feel like since the moment
she came out of the womb, she was already looking
straight into our eyes, looking around, tracking us around the room. If one of us would enter a room and like she was two weeks old and we would enter a room and she'd already looked
to see who was coming in. - One. (Jess laughs) - [Jess] Hello. Is daddy crazy? - Three, two, one. (Jess laughs) Back up. Mommy's not doing all the fun. I'm doing the fun. So something that we've been loving since day one of being at home is every morning when we have breakfast, we put Hunter in her little lammy and then we'll kind of just sit and eat Weet-Bix and watch Hunter. - Yeah. Thank you. Another thing that we've been
waiting for since day one was her smile. We tried so hard every single day to make this little girl smile. Hunter. - Hey, give us a smile. Tickle tickle. Give us a smile, come on. - On the day she turned four weeks, we finally got to see her gummy smile. Hi. Hello. And she has been smiling
so much ever since. She smiles when we put her to sleep, she smiles when we wake up, she basically smiles all day. ♪ I've got the whole world ♪ ♪ At my fingertips ♪ ♪ I feel like flying ♪ ♪ I feel infinite ♪ Another thing we are so grateful for, is little Hunter loves her sleeps. And for the past two nights, she has slept through the night from 9:00 p.m. all the way to around 7:00 a.m. And it has been amazing. Isn't it? Do you love your sleep? Do you love your sleep? And we all know that we can
not wake up a little baby without saying, "Big stretch." Big stretch. (Jess laughs) Yeah, I don't want to leave. Oh there you go. Stretch. Oh my gosh, it was the deepest sleep ever. ♪ We are limitless ♪ ♪ We are limitless now ♪ (guitar music continues) (Jess giggles) - If you guys have watched
the last couple of vlogs, you know how chatty Hunter is. And it's one of my favorite things is just sitting down with her and having a good old chat. (baby cooing) (baby cooing) (baby cooing) (baby cooing) - Another thing about little Hunter, is that when it's awake time, it is awake time. You do not get any cuddles. If you try and cuddle her when she wants awake time, she gets very, very angry. So, whenever she gets really tired, I'm like, "Oh my gosh, I'm getting a cuddle in." And we try and steal the cuddles. And I hug her don't I? - [Stephen] You hug her too much. ♪ Can't seem to sleep with
you walking around here ♪ ♪ Carving your trail through my mind ♪ ♪ Night after night you
come home to kiss me ♪ - And she always hold my
hand when she's sleeping. Speaking of hands, another thing about Hunter is that I was on the phone to my parents, and they noticed that
Hunter holds her hand, but when she's doing a clenched fist, she holds her hand where
she holds her thumb. - [Stephen] Like that. - Yeah, and then my parents were going, "Hey, that's what you did
when you were little." So Hunter and I hold
our hands the same way, when I was little and when she's little. - [Stephen] Genetics is so cool. - So every morning, we come out and she has
her first nap of the day, as we walk along the beach. She absolutely loves the pram, loves having her naps in here. And last weekend, we actually took her down to the sand and it was the first time she ever dipped her toes in the sand. - Bury those feet. Where the feet gone? Where the feet gone? - Yeah you're ready, aren't you? Yeah. Yeah. So, Hunter just woke up from her nap and I've really wanted
to introduce you guys to Hunter's best friend. Kind of a boyfriend. His name is Fred. I was looking online and I found out that newborn babies love contrasting colors and shapes. And so, I found a bunch of shapes, printed them out, stuck them on the back of a nappy box, and I made all these cards for her. And one of these cards, she absolutely loves. This is Fred. Yeah, is that Fred? All right, everyone, so this is Fred. He's kind of freaky but Hunter loves him. Do you love Fred? (baby cooing) Some other toys that she's been loving are these little books. So they're called, "Babies Very First Little
Black and White Library". So it's four books and they're this one book called "Babies", and she loves the happy
baby for some reason. Do you want to see the happy baby? - Busy baby, and happy baby. That's you. Yeah, that's you just there. - This is the happy baby by the way. Ready? Happy baby. - All right everybody, there's one more toy that Hunter absolutely loves. And, yeah, her grandparents bought it for her and I think they might've
ordered the Mandarin version. (Jess laughs) - Okay, ready? (toy sings) ♪ All I know ♪ ♪ Here is where it started ♪ - So now the big thing
we've noticed about Hunter over the last two months, is ever since we dipped
her toes into the water, she has loved it. We'll see you enjoy the bath. What do you think of that? - And you're gonna learn to scuba dive and you're going to learn to snorkel, and you're going to go swim with dolphins. - She's hands down a water baby, which is really good because of course we want to take her
swimming around the world. Take her on these little adventures. So it's good that right now, two months old, she absolutely loves the water. - [Jess] Is it bath time? Splash splash splash, you're in the bath. Do you love the bath? You love it. Splash splash splash, you're in the bath. Are you turning into a little blondie? Can you see the difference? - [Stephen] Wow. It's like the regrowth. Wow, you can just see that.
- It's so blonde, right? - [Jess] You're going to
be a blonde curly baby. - I wonder how long.
- Yeah. Yeah. Do you love the water? (baby cooing) Yeah. Yeah, you want to go back in, don't you? She's also getting such a strong neck. Ready to show them? Hunter. Look at mommy. Go Hunter, go. (parents laugh) Go, go, go girl. Push. - [Stephen] Legs up as well. - Oh! Hi. (parents laugh) Go, go, go. Stretch up, stretch up. Oh my gosh, this is like the longest she's ever done it for. Oh my goodness! You're so strong. You're proud of yourself, aren't you? Yeah. ♪ Trouble it comes and goes ♪ ♪ Trouble it finds a way and I'm ready ♪ ♪ Yes I'm ready ♪ Hi! (Jess laughs) Oh my gosh! Getting her ready and cleaned and fresh to meet you. I don't know what I'm doing. ♪ Tell me everything ♪ ♪ Gonna be ♪ ♪ All right ♪ - [Stephen] Already reading the newspaper? Is there anything interesting
in the newspaper today? Oh! Wait, is that you? (laughs) - The star of the show. That's you buddy. Then we got, I is for skates. Hunter's winning the race. (Jess laughing) - [Jess] You're talking
to your boyfriend Fred. ♪ So I'm hoping ♪ ♪ And I'm praying and
laughing and dancing ♪ ♪ Tell me everything ♪ So guess who's finally back in the office working on our next video. And the only way this one would settle was on his chest. - Kind of ultimate dad mode right now. Working all well, babysitting. Hello beautiful.
