there's no rags what else i'm going to say i need more excitement [Laughter] all right on this uh this week's episode of no garage we're either gonna break this or chris's heart or both [Music] get in me i've got no headlights to tell from i don't know you don't need the headlights all right we've got david spann things and i don't know what else we did besides obvious things like you know what you have to listen to you swearing about how gold we got all the wrong you still got the this is wrong it's good quality wrong all right so off camera while chris was asleep doing his hair or whatever he was doing um i've come in and done the alternator wiring turns out that battery cable that we found at the start that we thought was for like an electric hybrid conversion or whatever it's probably the charge wire for the alternator so i've removed one of them hooked up the excite and lamp and all that crap we moved the air temp sensor over to there because i don't even know why it was there cracker i don't know maybe he was going to have two something like that um we've put 250 psi ti sensors chris's bum is still bleeding from having to pay for those because he doesn't realize how much they're worth no i didn't and we've changed the water temp sensor to a compressor going off thanks mate so we changed the water temp sensor to a heltec one so i actually have a calibration table for it so we know how hot the engine is so so it's not instead of a hundred years stick your hand on the radio yeah and i've got the power steering to stop being a noisy and what else have we done the fan thermo fans hooked up there was all this wiring for that that went back to no awareness which was weird but now it works um what else were done on the dash we put transmission fluid in it and it didn't leak out so that's a bonus we put oil in the sump and that didn't come out that's another bonus so all that's really left i haven't done the gearbox wiring but we're just going to jam it in the second position of an a340 with no solenoids is actually top gear so that'll work where's your line pressure cable because we've got a oh we've got a yank on that a bit harder rolled up down here actually you can probably see it coming somewhere it's not good to me now mate there it is there you see it oh oh hello yeah she's in calf about a month ago how the hell am i going to manage to tie a zip tie around that and pull on it just grow another elbow in the middle of your arm like you usually be you could just hold your hand here and pull it during that somebody going wrong it's a good idea this is not possible without two hands it's lucky you've got another one there right there it's having twins are you saying it's the same cavity i thought there was a wall in the middle it's pretty itchy in there do i should get that checked i gotta check timing and we'll have to turn fans on and stuff all right get noisy we've got screens here you put that there so i don't have to annoy 500 rev limiter on the old one isn't it sounds good stock rod bolts down cut pressure 25 probably should determine the mac valve works because i haven't looked at that yet yeah it works all right i'll oh nice cracker it's making like a solid six pounds of boost six what's safety yeah so we've got no alternator we've got no charger to put on it no because some pieces because it couldn't hold enough power um still made more power than woody's car so it doesn't matter just better color red thing what would you like 65 or something like that look we made 165 has an aspirated 1600 cc engine yeah but that was the first pull that was basically aspirated as well yeah it doesn't matter what he's got playing well it didn't fly apart well that's it sorry i mean i can double check that i'm actually sending 12 volt to the signal wire ignition wire just in case we've blown a fuse under there or something if that's the case it's an easy fix otherwise we're going to have this only one next door only even knew where an alternator was oh piss off all right probably not going to happen but we'll see we're alternateless hey joy oh not good computer says no something says now we're there right now headliners break it down probably those coils yeah not enough to run just misfiring next week on duggar garage nothing's melted down there no this shit's melted not just voltage is it come on it ran through a lower bolts on that before though all right wait it's large dependent no don't love it oh she's hot yeah don't bend on yeah she's dusting water everywhere oh it's a bit warm with no fan okay i'm starting back down sorry there's just no fan because the front wheels aren't straight is it good you know something hopefully it's just low voltage there any yaris coils uh is that your economic issue no i just need probably more power it's under 11 volts but we've done one pull at six psi i doubt we've got double damaged it yeah all right let's think of the yaris coil itself that's what they do it's possible probably this one right next to the turbo you reckon that one would be really hot you know it would have worked really good not yet stand standard ones just stop dizzy stuff yep perfect yeah you would have nice little covers here where you can put a little bit of you keep the heat off there you know yeah finish it off like standard that'd be nice you know what else would have worked good too standard in that would have would have been good for the parents aren't oh look mate it held that 281 horsepower all the way but look at it go that didn't the stash of junk and try and find a one use that alternator i knew there was one around here somewhere all right do you love it i hate everything about this car it's because it fails at six psi yeah this makes more power than that oh wow we should put naloxone at them what's that you can i prefer the company of females oh it's pretty hot dude that's that's like grab it with a rag hot or use your hands because you don't feel anyway rocket man why are we rocket manning is it going to come off that stud with all this stupid cooling system no that's gonna have to wind it i want to help go away oh is it hot it's very hot oh it's all hot don't throw it so you do have feeling in your fingers since i've become a tuner good thing it's got that heat shield on there so it doesn't cook the alternator is that actually going to fit though it's all different it's got a different that's different that's very that's very sizably different it's not even close dude that one there's the same that one there's different so you'd have to draw this one out to 10 mil and then space it look how compact it is it's a jz that's a jz one is it even the charge terminal was small was it and then it would work would it though would it be enough all right well we're judging the core one yes i'm not convinced just gotta drill things physically smaller hammer some stuff see this just got to fit into there oh yeah do you want to drill that it's your old man damn these squeaky shoes oh look i bet it fits now your car's still making hissing noises just because you've overheated just cut the side of the head off and it'll fit just close that off get all the heads off no it didn't look that far different on the ground but then you drilled that out that way so that thing there's hitting on the head which is a good good that's couldn't find an alternator anywhere that was the same i don't know what the hell this alternator is off considering we've got one new z1 jz2 jz one f said it's none of them one gz could be it's it's off a boat from china so i thought i'd pull the back off it and change the rectifier which is normally what's the problem but my pissy little weekends or the weekends of the weekends of the weekends my pissy little weekends at the moment can't get the screws out of the old motor so i cleaned up the contacts and put some other brushes in it and i hope that it was the brushes so now we're going to start it up and realize that it wasn't the brushes and then we're going to pull it apart again sorry got a bit carried away there if you could just calm your farm just a little bit mate that'd be great sorry did i mention how much i like this car it's nice isn't it there is room for my gut he's probably saying something about the people that are in these even if this does work i have like 25 minutes to turn 35 minutes to change you should nail it by then keep donating someone use that you've got two of them might usually make more power than this one wow you know why we're friends there's a cold start oh nothing well that's the end of this episode oh come on it's nice look at it now i'm gonna unbolt the piece of do a piece of rebuild the piece of i need to get one of those rectifiers apart off that other one somehow this is funny isn't it feels like we did this about 15 minutes a year that's weird when we change nothing and we expected it to do something no we did change a thing we changed that we changed the brushes look that one's well gone it's not you know whatever well let's just go full circle we'll just do this no we're testing a theory right and you could still slide that off for the camera what do you reckon that isolator is going to achieve really isolation oh look because there's such a good chance that's going to hit maybe we should wrap it in some of that fleece tape i would yeah just just to be sure wow is that helping yeah i prefer it if it was a little bit further in my eyeballs that's helping a lot thanks just going to get the moment that it slips you're going to tune it in five minutes with the coil damn it because yaris coils are the best replacement for a coil ever i haven't never had any problems with yaris came with it never had in my head there were 35 cars i don't know why i kept calling them 35 cars they're clearly nothing like but anyway listen to the v7 no joy exactly the same good it's almost like the top always stay sorry the corolla's nice that only leaves the um the regulator well that's a bastard because it's the wrong shape hole pull it off and let one more go unless you can change no you can't change the in relation to the thing alright no it's all one cast piece of junk so put that back in i'll change to this change the back plate bash it with a home result stick thing under there ordinary thing shove it in the hole all right pull that motor back off see you're not building no no he's not sick it's like we're here 15 minutes and 25 minutes ago i remember that day you're gonna buy crackers you yeah yeah next time crackers got something for sale it's gonna be someone else's problem i felt it could be torn that's all right i'll get to relax after this with a cool glass of crown tuning followed by a chaser genie it's all toyota followed by another crown tuning tomorrow not rectifying bridge we're going to run that we're going to run it naked this should show the comment section yeah still gonna put that in there you know this is all for nothing anyway right why well because if it's a v7 and you can't tune it anywhere why don't i make it go away the car or the missed piece now little from kuala lumpur from column b what wow imagine if it works though it's not gonna work i'm at that stage now where i'm just delirious [Music] i'm doing it because the unicorn told me to oh this feels like i was only here 20 minutes ago 30 minutes ago and 40 minutes ago probably did you have the feeling you've done this before in about five minutes time again all right start up the v7 the 0.8 uz well that's not good well then i mean this one was a complete waste of time failure those other fuel leaks fuelly that could explain this far let's move the fuel rail listen to this what's going on with that is it just an airlock it might just be an airlock ah it's coming out of the adapter oh there's your air leak that's your misfire why is it too alert the others don't move like that all right you know do we look at the injectors so basically what's happened is there's an o-ring on the bottom of the manifold here and when it was first assembled chris not me um had the injector adapters bottomed out on the you know the ledge where the injector would normally the o-ring would sit and this one here must have slipped past and made itself fit in that hole which means what really needs to happen is all the holes need to be bigger and we need to take the posts out of these bpp rails and take the slack up that way because otherwise all the rest of them are going to do it as well and this is what this is what caused that misfire after that first pull certainly i've got a massive air leak under it and a fuel leak and then to compound that the old manner died and i tried four times it's dead so it's done it's finished and this is the end of our week on this yep and it's what thursday morning you're thursday so they're going to see this tomorrow yeah and a couple of couple of cars just turned up on a tilt tray for the tune today so that's it time to go we failed in saying that chris well not me i did my part well you feel better now i'm pretty sure this is the first time i've actually legitimately failed it is no it's not failed it's just a hurdle like we've had them before it's the gift that keeps on giving isn't it just for sale and off the price quick shut the door a bit of a bit of hoffman's hoffman's lunch box here it's good it was delicious was it nice unicorns hey your missus didn't make you lunch today oh wow oh if she's got to watch this she secretly watches it when
