just a little bit short he'll make that shot eight times out of 10 you and I both know it but I don't believe that was the play that Riley probably not but you know Magic Johnson's a great player and great players want to make great plays at the end of the game we should also mention Tom that a lot of coaches would have somehow used up all their timeouts at this point and uh Riley does a darn good job managing his timeout and instead of having to inbound with six seconds left and having no play to run he saved that one timeout and that's just good coaching it's a young club and now Magic's got a chance again so here we go Cooper will inbound the ball six seconds Remain the Lakers are down by one trying to close out the home stand on a win into Scott deep in the corner to Kareem Baseline sky hook off the rim rebound 1 second the buzzer going to go off Chicago wins it3 to 112 as the Lakers got not one but two shots Kareem neither one went in and the Bulls Kevin lochry goes off the floor and back home they n and what a win for Kevin locher that is a great win for a young Chicago team that's going to be heard from this season so despite 32 points by Kareem Abdul Jabar in a magnificent ball game at each end of the Court the Lakers come up empty
