1967 Massey Ferguson 135 Perkins Diesel Will It Run

all right I'm gonna do a will it start video on this uh 1967 Massey Ferguson 135. uh Perkins three cylinder diesel guy got it from said it ran 12 years ago I already drained the oil drained the diesel I'm working on pulling the fuel shut off valve out the handles broke off of it so I'm coming got a new filter I'm going to go to a canister go from a canister to a screw-on fill through the filter that was in there was missing the spring to hold the filter where it needed to be so I'm just going to switch that out I got new fuel filters I'm going to change those I got a hydraulic oil screen I'm going to change that out new battery and we'll see where we go well second to go on the Nancy 135 change the oil change the filter housing went to a screw-on filter change the fuel filters change the fuel shut off I started trying to bleed the fuel couldn't get any fuel to flow through couldn't get the pump to act like it wanted to do anything took it off see it it's broke there cam I don't know how it was running before looking there it's got a little Nick on the fuel pump cam so hopefully that's not going to hurt anything it's like somebody in the past changed the fuel line coming from the fuel shut off over to the fuel pump to a appears to be nylon line anyway I'll uh order one of these pumps and see if we can get it going after that so took the screws out of the fuel pump priming pump yeah that's not good I don't know how this thing was running supposedly 10 years ago I don't think that got in there just from sitting hopefully the fuel filters were working because if that any of that got to the injection pump or injectors it's gonna be a long project all right I got the 135 drug in the garage I'm going to change the primary fuel filter I got one with the glass bowl so I can bleed the drain the water out if ever gets water I just got the whole housing I got a new fuel pump put that on priming pump a new battery foreign pump [Music] steering wheel oh give her a try all right get the new fuel filter housing Ultra foot arm going into the drain the oil out of the transmission going into the do selector going to change the filter down in there a better picture of it do you love it that's right right there with the wire tie on the top wire tie keeps the filter from coming unscrewed and I'll try to clean out that gunk in the bottom there so I got the filter housing out filters not doing any filtering it's like it's all been eaten away so probably safe to say it was time to replace okay I got the uh fuel lift pump installed I'm gonna get some fuel over to it looks like it's over here again pump a little and see if oh yeah it feels a lot better come over and loosen the bleeder the primary foreign problem with the old one the bleeder bolt is right against the battery tray so see if I got a smaller half inch wrench and get up there to it foreign in the bowl I'll just go ahead and let it gravity feed for a while and we'll be back so a lot of gravity feed for a while looks like we are good so I'm gonna go ahead and tighten that down let's see if I got the wrench to loosen the second air filter foreign foreign I'll let that one gravity feed for a while and I'll be back filter housing cleaned up scooping the guck out of the bottom gunk out of the bottom of the housing I got most of it go ahead and put this filter in and fill her with fuel got secondary fuel filter full opened up this a little more I had to hold this it was spinning on this uh cross washer wasn't letting any air out a little more um and I went over and pumped it and had a good stream coming out so I went and tightened that down now I'm gonna open up the bottom injector pump um bleeder go pump it some more and all the air out of there so that looks like it gets pretty good we're not getting any air bubbles oh we are getting all air bubbles give that a couple more pumps it's all that good go ahead and open the top one a few more pumps crazy nice day out quite good all right I'd say we got it fuel system blood to the point where I need to put the battery cables on I bought a couple of battery cables new battery let's see if we can get it to crank over I'm not sure on the wiring I'll what kind of shape that's in so before that I need to change the gasket on the PTO selector I still need to put in my filter I'm going to do one last check on how clean the inside of that is it's reaching as far as I can get most of it so I'm gonna call it good all right moment of truth we'll see if it'll turn over I got the fuel system bled to the injection pump we got the hydraulic oil changed filter changed oil changed new battery cables a priming pump change the oil in the air cleaner water oil bath all right let's see got a neutral see if the neutral safety switch works all right turns over we will open the injector fittings see if I can get some fuel through the injectors I can't really see them but one of them it's right here and then there's two more a little further back I'll open those up and I'll be back in a second all right I got two of the injector fittings loosened up can't reach the one closest steering wheel so I'll get a bit of a couple cranks and see if we can get some fuel coming out I don't see any fuel dripping out the flashlight there it is that one's got some fuel thank you everyone's got a little fuel too all right I'll give it another crank we'll uh see if we get some more out all right tighten those up and see if we can get it to start I'm gonna try again foreign
