1955 John Deere 70 Diesel Startup

here's a 1955 John Deere 70 it's been sitting here since late summer sometime I think August of last year and now it's time to mow some pastures so I'm going to see if it'll start just a little dusty alright let's see what this thing will do first I have to turn on the fuel to the pony motor a carburetor fill turn on the ignition and jump here and this foot pedal is a starter for the pony motor trying to start it up at a yellow devil carburetor problems when I put it away last summer I'll let that warm up for a little bit before I crank the big engine with now to start this pull this lever all the way back which cranks the engine and releases compression when the diesel engine and I'll let it crank until if you're all present then once it hairs oil pressure off push this forward a little bit which will give the diesel engine compression and then I'll push this throttle lever forward a little bit to get some fuel then start and then I'll push this rest of the way forward and it'll be running and then I'll have to cut the fuel off to the pony that's the carburetor empty that I can turn the ignition off to the boat you
