19 galaxy brain tips for Hypixel SkyBlock

hey guys I'm back for another video and welcome to Hypixel Skyblock for another tutorial and today I'm back for some more suggestions on how to get better at the game this time I've got 19 of them they're really good I used to have 30 of them and got rid of 11 because they didn't make the cut so let's do it and of course if at any point you decide to use the Hypixel store to buy anything use code 30 virus for five percent off of your purchase it helps me out a ton and saves you money anyways let's get on with the list the first suggestions a really helpful one so this is big for void Gloom Slayer if you just so happen to die in the Bruiser Hideout which is a common place to do Slayer by the way because you get a chance for summoning eyes you get a lot of combat XP from bruisers but the problem with voidglim fights is they could be pretty difficult especially tiers three and four and if you happen to die usually in the supporter you can't use REM remnants are great because when you die in the end Island it just doesn't count as a death and as you're about to see here you can burn a Remnant while in the Bruiser Hideout including during a Slayer fight so if you feel like two rows with them then you could cheese a really easy T4 kill as long as you can do damage so yeah that's huge remnants are pretty nice cheese for Enderman Slayer the way that Minecraft registers actually clicking a button in an inventory is a little quirky especially with plugins like Skyblock that have buttons in an inventory for example if you press q and hold it [Music] then it's effectively like spamming the inventory slot I mean look at this as I hover over you can see the number going absolutely crazy and this is a way to click in an inventory excessively fast really fast and it's useful for a few things like if you are trying to buy during Diaz you know 10 times NPC buy limit that could be helpful but it's also nice when you're working on your heart of the mountain tree so imagine me with my 25 million gemstone pattern like 13 and a half million mithril powder choosing All My Perks and clicking all of them for example mole 190 times is really freaking annoying so if you actually just click and hold Q then it'll Auto press it really really fast so that's pretty helpful this is a good one for people that are not MVP plus plus if you want to get to the crystal Hollows specifically the crystal nucleus it can be a little Annoying uh because for example if I go over here Buy a pass and then if I were to warp into Crystal Hollows most of the important things in this game including structures specific uh veins of mithril and gemstones that never change depending on the lobby being able to search through all the tunnels effectively you kind of need slash warp CN or warp Crystal nucleus if you don't have travel Scrolls because you're not a high enough rank then you can't do that you can't teleport directly into the middle of Crystal Hollows which is a little cringe because I mean for example if I wanted to find a minor Devon the best most efficient thing to do would be to spawn there come up here and then look for it by going either down the left path or actually right here see literally it is easier to find structures from the middle this is just a fact but let's say you can't do that uh well actually there is an alternative you can visit portal hub they added an item to the game recently called the portalizer which allows you to turn a travel scroll into a portal including the crystal nucleus let's see if we can find it here it is Crystal nucleus there's plenty of uh Hub Islands there's portal Hub without the underscore uh but yeah they'll bring you to that exact spot without the travel scroll this one's purely really theoretical I don't really have any gameplay to show for this one but on the garden there is a very sought after enchantment called dedication 4. as you can see I have three on this carrot hoe here the fourth dedication book cannot be acquired by combining two threes together it is considered a Max enchantment so I mean you could buy dedication one but again it only goes to three if you want dedication four it's a rare drop from the librarian so there is a little trick that I've seen people try I don't know how successful it is to take this with a grain of salt but it is kind of interesting a concept so imagine you start a bingo profile which is a temporary profile only lasts a week we know this uh the NPC spawns here you start a bingo profile and then you only speak to one NPC and that is the librarian and once you speak to him he's unlocked as a visitor on the garden now if you talk to nobody so just the librarian set up a cane farm with like two or three plots and then just go for it you spawn the librarian give them his sugar cane and then go back to farming he'll spawn again in like three minutes and come back so you could spam commissions with the librarian in the hopes that you will speed run your way to getting a dedication for book drop on paper it seems to me like the fastest way to get dedication for although keep in mind you're on a bingo profile you don't have any farming gear so is your fortune going to be high enough to be worth it should you just buy it I don't know but uh for Iron Man players especially this might be the only way to get dedication for it okay next up are three dungeon related ones so these are quite nice so as someone who's finally decided to grind dungeons for the first time in my career I got to cata 38 still not great but it's better than where I was anyways there's three things you should probably know about Dungeons if you haven't already the first of which is that Bonzo staff has a purpose Beyond just catapulting you around in floor seven so you can use it for the Bonzo the Bonzo staff test as you can see in the top there I have my TPS showing in bad line but for additional proof of how good the lobby is you can click and hold the Bonzo staff 19.8 TPS that's pretty freaking good that was a very clean unbroken stream of balloons whereas if you were to go to a laggy Lobby let's say crimson Isle there's a lot of dungeons that are not worth running because the TPS is so low and you can quickly test when you join a Dungeons how good the Ping is based on the Bonzo staff consistency I'm actually getting good Crimson aisle lobbies which is really weird but I'm sure we all know what laggy lobbies look like but 19.4 I mean it's still pretty consistent but you get the point you'll know once you see a laggy server when the balloons stop flowing smoothly that's the Bonzo staff test also another thing in dungeons is if you want to ensure that everybody actually gets in uh there's a problem where if you were to join dungeons then it doesn't let you back in after the run has started but uh there is actually a button that you click in Mort to start the run like you can enter the run but not start it yet and during that time you can actually warp people back in that did not get into the dungeons Lobby so just do slash party warp P warp and then hope they get in before you press the button make sure you have all five players in your dungeon before you actually click that button and finally this one's also completely theoretical I actually got RNG carried in this department so I didn't have to do this but there is a Epiphone contact for an NPC called Trinity which is right here Trinity is really annoying to get as a contact despite being nearly free the problem is that Trinity is inside of what's called a rare one by one which is a room that does not show up often there's a collection of them so basically the way the dungeons works is that let's say it it spawns in a bunch of rooms obviously including some puzzles of varying amounts some floor sevens for example might have three puzzles some might have four if you get one that has five then what happens is if it tries to spawn a sixth one at that point the game puts a limit I think it's five puzzle rooms per dungeon so if you check Tab and there are five puzzle rooms that pretty much guarantee fees that you're gonna get a rare one by one I I believe it's either the limits five or it says five but it actually has four and the fifth is the rare one by one but long story short if you were to enter a dungeon check tab it will tell you how many puzzle rooms there are if you see the number five that means is a rare one by one which means you might have a chance to get Trinity so basically that's the way to grind out getting Trinity as a contact is just to keep spamming dungeon runs just start the Run check for five puzzles and leave if it's not oh actually there's more dungeons ones I'm just dumb so one thing that's also pretty cool if you didn't know the Midas staff which is pretty much the signature weapon for Iron Man players at this point also seconds as an infinite room TNT but only in dungeons so you might notice I haven't physically gone into dungeons to demonstrate any of this because I don't have a teammate right now but yeah Mida staff actually does work in place of a super boom in the catacombs it does not work outside I'm sure most people know what ghost picking is but for those that don't we all know about stonking at least right can we agree on that let's say there's a button behind a stone wall you can't press the button or maybe there's a secret you gotta right click on the secret maybe it's a chest behind a stone wall the stonk has efficiency six on it in dungeons it instant breaks a lot of blocks including Stone so let's say there was a button back there I could do this right click on the button if it's on the face of that block right so that we all pretty much know there's another trick called ghost picking which is a lot less known but it is still a fairly common strategy so for example the easiest way to do this is to have a stonk and then some other item in the last two slots of your hot bar so the stock is in slot number I believe that's seven what you could do is hover over the stonk and then press 7 on your keyboard and then immediately press eight so seven eight as you can see I now have two songs I've made one of these the wand of atonement into a ghost pick now the cool thing about ghost picks is that the server doesn't really get rid of the block after you've broken it like it does with a regular stock so for example those blocks don't come back they're gone now this is basically an upgrade of stalking if there was a button behind a wall that say two or three blocks thick you can do this and then click the button or the secret or whatever and YouTube ranks actually are kind of privileged in this way because this person's about to watch me sink into the floor goodbye oh I forgot it's more specific than that so uh let's say I do the ghost picture out again if you start on a stair break the stair break down I have YouTube ranks so I don't get Watchdog back which makes this infinitely easier there you go I need shenz regalia to enter that room usually you can't go that far but I'm used to bring so I don't get Watchdog that said uh normal players can also do that they just can't make it as far people often use it to skip phase two of the floor 7 boss fight and then skip straight to Terminals and do Simon Says and uh all of those devices as they're called but yeah go speaking it's cool you can also do it with a tree cap on wood in the button puzzle room that's something I've done recently that's kind of neat oh this one's uh kind of just a public service announcement as well there used to be a bug where if you were to take training weights diffuse kits any other secret item and put it in a personal deleter to save inventory space if you did that you would actually avoid the secret and kind of throw the Run they fixed the bug so now you can just do it without worrying about problems so go ahead and do that I guess put those items in the personal deleter so that you don't fill up your inventory but it won't screw your team over you can also right click on a secret chest while holding a JuJu or a Terminator or any bow I believe but these are the two I have experienced with if you open a secret chest with the juju Aura Terminator it actually doesn't open the inventory which can save you a few seconds you don't have to press you need to get out of the inventory you just right click the secret and you have it even if there is an item inside the only downside is it does void the items so if you're trying to get treasure artifact on Iron Man I'd say probably don't do that but if you have like more than enough then I guess go for it this is the last dungeon suggestion I swear if you want to get catacombs XP quick you can actually take advantage of the dailies so if you're like me you don't really like Dungeons getting a party together is annoying party finder is not ideal you just would rather do anything else at least do this so Skyblock gives you five runs every day that are double XP so what you can do is instead of doing five a day you could do 10 every other day so let's say you haven't played dungeons in a while it's currently 6 p.m Eastern Standard Time maybe seven you start your runs do five runs of the best floor that you can handle the highest floor you can handle most XP whenever do those five runs and then once it rolls over to 8 PM Eastern Standard Time AKA it rolls over one day to the next I think daylight savings might make it seven o'clock sometimes half a year I don't know but wait until the day rolls over again then do another five runs you've done two dailies where you got double catacombs XP so for doing 10 runs every few days you get a good amount of catacombs XP I mean that's the equivalent of 20 runs and it's like an hour of effort maximum if you're doing well if you're doing four sevens maybe it'd take a little more than an hour but you get the point like you can get a lot of catacombs XP for very little effort here's a suggestion that's kind of interesting speaking of the crystal nucleus and doors and mines there's actually a funny little mechanic in the crystal Hollows in the form of this perk right here Lonesome minor increases strength per chance and crit damage while in the crystal Hollows and there's also a pet called the mithril Gollum which gives you 20 combat stats on mining Islands so the combination of these two things makes you extremely strong like if I were to hold out my best DPS weapon which is probably my Valkyrie and this is with the wrong Power Stone too I'm not going to bother shifting it I'll shift it why not let's put it on hurtful for example those stats that's 1800 strength 1500 crate damage like what oh boy versus outside let's say if I went to Crimson Isle literally gain like 500 of each strength and crit damage just by being in the crystal Hollows so that said you're very strong now you can take advantage of this and actually use a magma Rod let's say you started a blaze Slayer maybe it's a T3 or a tier four and you're struggling right you're having a not fun time what you can actually do is lava fish in the crystal Hollows maybe have some fishing armor and a pet equipped like ammo Knight you can spawn a blaze now I'm probably not going to get one right now because I'm not using any fishing equipment but if you spawn this blaze it actually does count for the Slayer so you can spawn a T3 or T4 Blaze in the crystal Hollows which is absolutely insane because once you've done that you can benefit from the increase in stats and you can also make an arena that's suited to your uh situation now the downside of this is off it's probably going to take you like five minutes to set up which means this is really only helpful for a completion if you want to quote get carried to Inferno Demon Lord T4 just getting the one kill just for the SkyBlock XP the Boost maybe the crafting recipes you know whatever so you might notice my garden is pretty well organized these aren't the best farm designs far from it but they work for me I'm gonna transfer over to the melon King d e Farm designs soon you should visit his Island for the designs there ignore the pumpkin farms those suck but you might notice that if you go to the desk I could have just done slash desk if I configure plots you'll notice I have five plots in a row of the same preset but two different presets these plots right here or technically these plots in this shape are the easiest to unlock in order to get quote maximum efficiency Farm designs you actually don't need to unlock every single plot to get the best farm designs in the game you literally only have to get two rows of five even if they're separated like this with the barn in the middle just focus on unlocking these plots first and then build your melon King de Farms or some variation like I've done here all you need is five plots in a row and then you can design your Farms even without teleport pads you'll have the best farm designs in the game without having to spend a bajillion million compost to get every plot unlocked I'm getting there I only got this one left there's a way to cheese nucleus runs the most annoying part of the process by far is the temple it's kind of just time locked you have to complete the parkour and there's no way around it or so you'd think actually there is if you go to a very specific spot underneath the temple and then use an armadillo pet you can clip through the ceiling and then actually right click on the crystal without doing the parkour it effectively takes a two and a half minute process and turns it into like 15 seconds if you get really good at it so yeah when multiplied out by let's say a hundred runs 250 runs it can save you a lot of time it nearly halves the duration of a nucleus run to know this cheese so would highly recommend you learn how to do that uh if you want specifics on it there's an implodent video on it would recommend you can actually use the process of grinding nucleus runs let's say you got to do 50 of them for SkyBlock XP or if you're on Iron Man and have to suffer like me and do 200 runs and still not drop a quick claw or an alloy during that process you can actually redeem a commission every single time you pick up a gemstone or is it a crystal I don't I think they're called crystals I always get them confused but yeah once you pick up a crystal of any type then the way the commissions are set up is that if you just follow whichever one is in your commissions let's say the commission calls for a topaz you head for bow and then you kill Bal you redeem the commission and the way it's set up is that nucleus runs in progress do not get in the way of this process if you already got a topaz Crystal before Redeeming the whole run it's not going to make you get topaz again unless you have every Crystal if that makes sense so essentially you get five comms per nucleus run so simple math 100 nucleus runs is 500 commissions so if you're some crazy person and want to use this to get heart of the Mountain Seven go for it I guess probably still better to grind it out manually but there there's another reason to get your 50 nucleus runs done is you'll also oh I I did I did a hundred because again Iron Man let's say you did your 50 you're still getting 250 comms which is pretty sweet this last one I actually can't demonstrate unfortunately who's gonna have to tell you and hope that you're smart enough to just do it you guys are smart right uh you can buy a pumpkin launcher I don't even remember what it's called I believe it's in the special recipe is there it is okay yeah it is called the pumpkin launcher and you craft it like this anyways this is a neat item it's a little it's kind of useless at First Sight you'd be like oh it's just a way to have like an inventory full of blaster land into one inventory slot well actually the cooldown of the launcher is separate from just holding a stack of blaster lanterns so what you can actually do is alternate just right click right click right boom boom boom boom boom boom like I don't know if you saw the hot bar slot there but you could just hold right click and switch slots so like you'll have the pumpkin launcher in one slot and then just a stack in the other slot so you can throw pumpkins twice as fast this is really helpful if you're trying to get you know the SkyBlock XP from getting a high candy score that's how I got a height well actually that's not how I got a high candy score my bad I still don't have a pumpkin launcher what I did is I took advantage of a bug which may or may not still exist here's a little little honorable mention I guess an extra suggestion is that wearing the witch mask actually is probably your best bet despite losing the full set bonus of you know candied bat person helmet and all that anyways the witch mask insta kills the spooky mobs right now not intended Behavior probably getting patched might be patched by the time you watch this I don't know but yeah it insta kills the spooky mobs which is a massive Advantage I'm sure we all know about factions in the Crimson aisle right you can see my tab list here Barbarian reputation is only at 2300 which is kind of crazy for a profile as old as mine but that's because I actually did something kind of big brain so you can actually switch your faction and keep the reputation it's a very long and annoying process but what I did is I grinded 27 actually 28 000 fashion rep the minimum is 27. but once you get 27 or my case 28 000 faction reputation you can actually switch to the other faction do the starting Quest for the other faction and then you can start building up faction rep again until you get to the maximum which is twelve thousand for both factions simultaneously it sounds complicated but it's really not so again the result of what I've done basically the reason I did it is now I have a positive reputation and I'm working towards Max reputation for both factions simultaneously this is helpful if you want to get all the unique minions because you have to get mycelium 12 and red sand 12 you have to get certain items from various bars in order to give to Shifty for his contact so there's a few reasons you want to get all the Abba phone contacts in general some of which people won't give you their contact if you're not in their faction so yeah that is a thing so again to put it simply I would recommend you start with Mage by the way Mage factions better in general but um I mean mostly because of this guy right here and the fact that he sells XV bottles I'm not a major right now so I can't actually do it but he sells uh Mage bottles but yes uh all you have to do is just do your daily comms kill some kudras kill some mini bosses do the town board whatever get your Mage reputation at 28 000 again you want some wiggle room go to 28 000 and then once you feel like you're done I believe you talked to Ellie I think you talked to Ellie and yeah in the in the spawn and then you could tell her I want to switch factions switch factions and then go over to um to the Barbarian area start their Quest and as soon as you're officially a part of the faction then you actually should kill the opposite factions mobs until you're not in the negative anymore so in my case I did not want to have negative Barbarian reputation before doing all of the quests because there's a lot of wasted faction wrap there you can actually if your reputation is negative which it was when I joined barbarians you can kill these Mages over here or if you know all the way around you can kill the barbarians over there that are in like the midsection before you get to their actual headquarters these fire Mages I killed until I went from negative 3 000 to zero reputation then started gaining from there you can't just kill these all the way up until Max rep unfortunately it doesn't quite work like that once you hit a positive number of reputation then it stops giving you rep in exchange for taking rep away from the other faction if I were just to continue killing the fire Mages I would just lose Mage rep and not gain Barbarian rep if that makes sense so yeah just grind up to 28k with the first fashion switch killed that faction you were that you're at 28 000 rep with kill their representatives until you get to zero and then just do you know faction dailies whatever and then get the second factions XP all the way up to 12 500 I guess 13 000 something like that and then you're done and then you have both factions maxed out now the reason you have to go so far in the positive with the first faction is because gaining faction rep for one takes away from the other but there's no cap on the upward trajectory of reputation there's no limit in the positive but there is a limit in the negative it cannot go below three thousand so that's how you're able to acquire so much reputation that you probably shouldn't have so The Ether warp conduit is a neat little item it's unlocked in Enderman Slayer and basically it's just an aote but better and more precise so let's say Zoom all the way on that block right click boom I teleport to that block exactly but I think the more important part of this is that it also works from right clicking underneath a block so you might notice I just clipped through the ceiling there I went above I went above the block by right-clicking the underside of it so it's very helpful for cheesing and Dungeons and also for getting a lot of money it's used for gemstone mining specifically for armadillo mining because you want to be centered on the Block because that way you don't shove the armadillo out of the way but basically the suggestion here is that you've noticed probably I've been using the ether warp conduit as a standalone item I thought this was just a crafting ingredient that you write that you just added to an aotv with a merger like you crafted them together but no the conduit just works as a standalone item which if you're someone that does armadillo mining like me it means you don't have to drop a merger you just need to make the item and also it's an improvement over an aotv merged with a conduit because you could just right click the conduit without having to shift whereas with the aotb you would have to shift you don't have to do that which means one less thing you have to do like 17 times a minute when mining gemstones again Diller mining you don't have to hold shift constantly going from vein to vane so yeah you can warp conduits kind of goated as just an item by itself not merged to the thing it's
