Sneaky threads Oddly painted... Every. Single. Time. Looks like brass I'll try again after rust removal No lead...this was definitely recently painted Removing as much paint as possible before sandblasting I am soaking sandblasted parts in evapo-rust for one specific reason: Evapo-rust creates a dark surface layer of carbon on cast iron I really like the look of this dark layer as a finish the wood will be fine as long as you let it dry after I know this is "just" an apple peeler, but this can be better Hitting the high spots with a small wire wheel I like that look I'll oil everything at the end The nuts are cast iron Oil everything Danish oil Asphaltum This adjusts the guide for the cutter This adjusts the angle of the cutter This adjusts the height of the corer this adjusts the depth of the corer These adjust the position of the blade This adjusts the depth of cut This adjusts the starting position of the cutter This adjusts the pressure of the cutter This adjusts the speed of my snowblower
