Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
To listen to her voice go from oh crap then becoming more and more confident through the process was great, then after she landed you could hear the happiness in her voice.
Good for them and good for her, handled like a champ!
For christs sake Grumman 434, you speak worse than my doctor writes.
good thing howard stern was there to guide her down.
Picture of plane and interview with Maggie here:
Or here:
She was so scared you could tell in her voice but what a fucking champion. There is no way that I could pull that off as chill as she did. All of her 'alrights' as much as a confirmation to the instructor that she understood also were alrights to herself that she could do what she was about to do.
Inspirational, really cool.

What a fucking champ. Everyone involved here deserves huge props. I'll always be in awe of how calm and in-control air traffic controllers sound in emergencies.
Even though this was video was published 2 days ago, I hope Maggie is still flying.
You could tell she was getting a βcrash courseβ in compartmentalization as the flight progressed. Amazing mental toughness for a 17 year old. Great start to a hopefully long flying career!
