1,500 HP Turbo Sand Buggies in the Dunes of Dubai

today i'm about two hours east of dubai at a private race shop that builds some of the most insane vehicles you will ever see on the internet these fully custom sand buggies are ls powered and most of them are massive displacement i'm talking about seven plus liters and then they're equipped with four liter whipple blowers or turbocharged most of them are twin turbo but one check this one out it's a 454 cubic inch build ls with a quad turbo setup [Music] okay let's go play first one i'm jumping in film motor twin turbo ls motec dash how much power does this make 1 400 horsepower um i'd like to say i'm ready for this but i don't know if i am oh my god oh my god the that i get myself into you know when you're doing motorsports activities in thailand you always have to worry about hitting a buffalo here in the uae they have camels [Music] bro look at this i have never seen anything like this in my life it is beautiful well i guess this is going to be our party spot for the next couple hours i want to remind you guys these are some of the most savage sand buggies on planet earth the supercharged ones make a thousand wheel horsepower the twin turbo and quad turbo ones make north of 1500 horsepower at the rear tires and these things will rip through the dunes at 100 plus miles per hour carrying the front tires six feet in the air look at this dude giant look they're all built motor big cubic inch ls's and what's this one that one's probably supercharged yep you can see the whipple back there there's a whipple blower back there this one over here is turbocharged as well okay so here's the deal we have about 12 vehicles total the slowest of the sand buggies is a naturally aspirated ls7 that makes about 450 horsepower the fastest one is right behind me it's the built ls quad turbo 1500 horsepower with a sequential transmission from what i'm being told they're gonna put me in one of the slower can-ams first because they probably think i'm a i'm not used to fast so once they see that i'm cool with that then it's time to get in one of these turbo ls buggies [Music] let me know guys check out this buggy what's crazy about this one this is the only one that i've seen like this the entire thing is nice dude the whole thing is carbon this is a twin turbo body ls powered buggy this thing is [Music] [Applause] [Music] so i'm really digging this marble livery on this one this one is a 7.4 liter with a four liter whipple supercharger and apparently makes a thousand horsepower and the owner offered to take me for a ride [Music] mmm [Music] bro the front wheels [Music] straight to the quad turbo built motor 1500 wheel horsepower ls sand buggy [Music] i'm not ready for this i'm ready let's go i'm ready i'm ready and holy this thing is oh nice [Applause] baby that was insane that was a motorsports experience i will never forget and one that you can only have here in dubai
