and even the tallest person ever to be drafted in the nba we'll look at all that and a whole lot more as we discuss 15 real-life giants that exist [Music] jeff dabe meet jeff dabe or if you're from minnesota you may know him as popeye he earned that name on his high school wrestling team because of the massive size of his arms they measure a whopping 19 inches around the size of dabe's arms are dutch are the tallest people in the world and it has everything to do with natural selection over the last 150 years dutch men have grown 20 centimeters but american men have only grown 16 emitters in the same period genetics predict that the dutch would be the tallest people in europe and that was easily achieved many dutch men admit that they prefer taller women further pushing the natural selection notion the tall life in the netherlands is quite different than being tall in the united states they have far more material suited for taller people for example people in the netherlands
