has witnessed iconic moments  in cricket history making it a pilgrimage for fans number two on the list is to eat at  biswa Bangla gate the biswa Bangla gate is   an architectural Marvel in New Town which houses  a unique restaurant within its circular structure   and we are up here that ice cold AC is quite nice  I must say after walking around all day can we do   a walk around real quick yeah yeah all right d bud  and you'll Reserve that one for us perfect thank   you this eery offers patrons panoramic views of  kolkata's evolving Skyline creating a memorable   dining Ambiance so about a 2 3 minute walk to get  us all the way around the structure is beautifully   illuminated at night and stands as a testament  to kata's Modern architectural Endeavors wait so   if you're coming here just keep in mind that uh  you might wait a little bit of time in order to   go up to the top number three list of things to  do is to taste traditional Bengali food Bengali   Cuisine is a flavorful Symphony of sweet spicy  and tangy dishes signature items like Shi ilish   also known as hilsa fish in mustard kosha mango  spicy mutton Curry and mishy doy sweetened yogurt   embody The Culinary essence of Bengal every bite  narrates the Region's Rich cultural and historical   tapestry experiencing traditional Bengali food is  an essential aspect of immersing oneself in the   local culture number four things to do in Kolkata  is to visit Eco Park Eco Park is located in New   Town and it is a sprawling green Oasis amidst  the urban landscape boasting themed zones and   recreational areas so Monday it's closed Tuesday  to Sunday 12:30 to 8:30 DM 30 rupees per person   to get in D Bud all right we have entered into the  Ecco Park 30 rupees so about uh 40 cents roughly   now if I can find us a nice little bike to get  around I'm probably going to rent one because   let's put it this way just walking the perimeter  of this I spent 25 minutes doing it cuz it was   like super super large among its many attractions  the Seven Wonders of the World section stands   out offering visitors the experience to see the  globally renowned monuments in a miniature version   seven wonders is a second ticket counter that you  have to go to so I was surprised how inexpensive   the entry fee was to just walk around but each  one of these attractions must have a separate   cost that's funny one one ticket counter opens  at 12 one's at 12:30 one's at 1130 one's at 11:   this one's at 12:30 easiest way to see all seven  wonders in 24 hours we've got Petra right there   and then built inside of Petro we got a little  cafe hiding in there I see you I love the look   of the Taj Mahal though that is such beautiful  architecture so we've got 1 2 3 4 5 this is number   six and then the Great Wall right over here from  the Great Wall of China to the tajma hall this   section brings the world's marbles to kolata  really cool to kind of see a mini version of   it this definitely inspires me to want to go and  see the real one at some point it's a harmonious   blend of education and Recreation insuring  visitors leave with memorable moments and you   can spend a full day exploring this park as it is  massive number five in Kolkata is to explore Park   Street Park Street is the heartbeat of Kolkata  offering a blend of History culture and Modern   Day entertainment showing you guys what it's  like in this like modern upbeat area that has a   lot of nightlife a lot of restaurants you got many  different types of Cuisines from some street food   options to it looks like what is this Japanese or  Chinese right there yes oh you can even buy cars   on Park Street all right too much happening yeah  exactly so much going on so don't have too many   p to whiskey or or you might end up buying a car  in the middle of the night you can tell it's the   party shirt I mean it's a Monday and you can  hear the music being played pretty loud it's   especially magical during the Christmas season  when the street is adorned with festive lights   and decorations with its music venues eateries  and historical landmarks Park Street epitomizes   kolkata's vibrant Spirit number six on the list of  things to do here in Kolkata is to explore modern   Kolkata also known as New Town New Town stands  as a symbol of kolkata's Rapid Urban development   showcasing a blend of modern architecture and  green spaces each pocket of this city that I've   been to is just vastly different I mean this site  is incredibly modern even all of these like walls   down here in the highway are painted in beautiful  vibrant Colors by probably some of the local   painters and artists here the boat's actually  here that you take in Sector 5 but it's a really   cool area like I mean you just have these nice  buildings lit up all around it and just a uh a   lake right in between the city I mean you can even  see the median right here in between the highways   I mean they're still working on planting the grass  and the trees and a lot of these apartment complex   are brand spanking new and you get a lot of the  popular Hotel chain there's the Fairfield Marriott   a modern side of kolata here the shops I mean  towering ceilings here super bright lights here   you can get you know the normal clothings and all  watches you all those things but then above there   those are different uh stores up there there you  go uh jewelry shop over there a jewelry shop yeah   and then at the top it looks like we've got a club  or something Regent Terrace so it is a co-working   space and it's called Happy Works working pod  so I think that's where we can locate some very   fast internet here this is the new part of the  metro station to the airport metro project that   I believe is uh still under construction yeah New  Town reflects kolkata's Progressive Outlook number   seven on the things to do here in Kolkata is to  visit H Bridge the iconic H Bridge or rabindra   setu is a Marvel of engineering that has stood the  test of time since its Inauguration in 1943 this   bridge connects kolata with its Twin City H and  serves as a bustling vein of daily Transportation   all right and here's the H Bridge photography  strictly prohibited yet everybody's taking photos   so I'm a bit confused you can tell it's a really  old bridge what is it like 50 60 years or more   yeah more than that I think wow more than that  it Silhouettes against the backdrop of the hogly   river is a photographer Delight especially during  the Dawn and dusk periods of the day as a symbol   of Kolkata it evokes Nostalgia and pride among  locals number eight on the things to do here in   Kolkata is to experience kolkata's NTI kolkata's  nlife exudes an electric mix of Elegance energy   and eism from the Timeless charm of jazz clubs  on Park Street to the pulsating beats of modern   dance clubs the city caters to diverse tastes  live music gigs poetry readings and cultural   performances frequently Grace the city's evening  calendar amidst its historic backdrop kolkata's   nightlife thrives proving the city truly never  sleeps beers right here and to give you an idea   what the prices are to get like a king fisher it's  like $280 which is roughly $3 Corona comes out to   like $7 so I'd say uh pretty good price honestly  it's actually cheaper than getting a beer at the   late hotel which cost me $12 for Corona number  nine on the things to do here in kolata is to   take a ferry ride these are fairy tickets yeah  six rupees gets us on and uh it takes us around   the city or where does it bring us yeah it will  take you to the other side of the river other   side River so this is what uh one of the types  of fairies but there's multiple different types   of fairies that go to like different spots all  over here and does everyone Rush on because it's   first come first serve and if it fills up then  then basically you got to wait for the next one   right over there drifting in so how many fairies  run uh per day like are they just constantly going   every 10 15 minutes 10 15 minutes every minutes  and it starts early in the morning from 56 and   then it goes on until late at night until 9 late  wow so now I understand why everyone rushes to get   there cuz if you rush to get on there you can get  one of these nice VIP seats up front and look at this whoa all right here we go we got to go for  the jump oh yeah all right gliding on the hogly   river abord a ferry offers a serene escape from  kolkata's hustle and bustle this ride presents   a unique view of the city's landmarks like the  Majestic H bridge and the historic gats for many   it's a daily commute but for visitors it's a  chance to experience Kolkata from the center   point of the action in Kolkata number 10 on  today's list of things to do in Kolkata is to   visit Victoria Memorial the Victoria Memorial is  a significant White marble structure that stands   as a tribute to Queen Victoria and kolkata's  Colonial Legacy uh one Foreigner one local   inside food uh only Monday only Garden looks like  oh yeah so it's a pretty large garden that you can   go walking through here and for 20 rupees guys  so here in the back of it we actually have this   Lake that stretches all the way around so it's  actually a much larger overall like I guess park   or area to walk around and then you would expect  when you first walk out to here set amidst faant   Gardens this Monument marries Indian and European  architectural Styles inside there is a museum   which offers a glimpse of British era artifact  effects and paintings weaving Tales of yester   years we got to experience Victoria Memorial from  the outside and it was so beautiful unfortunately   the day we were there happened to be the day  the museum was not open so if you get enough   time make sure you plan your trip accordingly  number 11 on the list is to go shopping in the   bazaars navigating kolkata's bustling bazaars  is a sensory Adventure filled with vibrant Hues   aromatic sense and the hum of negotiations so I  actually didn't realize this Market was H full   of cars wow it gets hot in here because there's  not too much ventilation besides the fans good   day that I wore the tank top places like new  market or garot offer a plethora of goods from   handycrafts to apparel haggling is an art form  here and securing a bargain becomes a delightful   challenge for Shoppers uh good quality uh 400 400  120 120 yeah no no he didn't have a larger size   he was trying to convince me that I can't find a  larger size 1,500 no way brother 1,500 yeah right   this quality this quality may be different you  you touch this what's your best price touch this   and you touch this quality difference you give  700 only for you seriously 400 final 500 500 yes   and no I got 450 final a good price brother good  price all right I think our guy was still happy   he was hoping to make a much bigger sale but the  second I walked out there like not a chance we   could still make some good money on that one so  these markets teaming with life offer authentic   glimpses into kolkata's everyday rhythms number  12 on the list is to try out the local street food   Kolkata streets are culinary canvases dishing  Out treats at every corner oh that's still hot   I don't know how those guys are grabbing them  but we're going to dip that take a small bite   from the panty purri to the spicy Katy rolls the  city's street food is a gastronomic revelation   each stall Tells A Tale of local flavors and woo  going for a street food tour in kolata is both a   taste of adventure and a cultural immersion that  you cannot miss out on number 13 on the list is   to experience Sunset near flower market beside  the hogly river lies Asia's largest flower market   all right and we are now entering in right under  the H bridge is the largest flower market in all   of Asia so this is massive I mean I wish Melle  was here so I could give my fiance some flowers   here a riot of colors fragrances and activities  so I'm going to call him a Belle right now and   I'm going to give her the flowers hi my love I  I I bought you flowers so I'm giving them to you virtually they smell Tai experiencing sunset here offers a contrast  between the Market's animated energy and the   river's placidity as the sun dips casting golden  reflections on the water the silhouette of H   Bridge adds to the spectacle this jua position of  Nature and commerce Stillness and Motion makes for   an unforgettable visual treat right over there  we have the um it looks like a dinner boat is   that what that is down there a dinner boat dinner  boat going down sing if you're coming for Sunset   make sure you're on the opposite side of where  the train station is number 14 on the list is   to experience College Street College Street is the  world's largest secondhand book market and a Haven   for biblo files and history enthusiasts alike its  Myriad shops and stalls often stacked floor to   ceiling with books offer literary Treasures  from various subjects and generations there   are so many books in here it's mindblowing but  I'm also surprised how fast these uh moped well   this guy's got all those books on there are just  flying through the streets the iconic coffee house   on the street has witnessed countless discussions  among intellectuals revolutionaries and students   over steaming cups of coffee a stroll here is a  journey through kolkata's academic and literary   heart we've got sandwiches a lot of Chinese food  here so that's nice and how was your experience   today overall it was great we had some ice cold  coffees we had some deep conversations I mean
