temples I've seen in the world  known as the golden temple so without further   Ado guys let's Jump Right In to things to do here  in Amritsar Punjab number one on the list is to   visit the golden temple the golden temple or the  harand deer sahib stands as the spiritual nucleus   of the seik community all right so step one we've  got the uh shoes removed can I keep the socks on   or no you have to remove that I have remove the  socks too yeah all men must uh cover up their   heads going inside the temple this is like the uh  the lightest thing you can get which is just like   a golden temple uh bandan guys so uh one thing  we've got to do since I'm wearing shorts and a   tip for you if you're coming to the golden temple  make sure you have some coverings the nice part is   right across from the entrance you're able to buy  yourself some uh trous yourself so what what does   that say up there uh that mean in English like I  have been to all the places in the but this thing   is the greatest W this is the greatest yeah wow  so this is the first entrance inside the golden   temple revered for its stunning architecture with  goldplated facade it's surrounded by the amirit   sarovar a sacred pool in which devotees take  purifying dips with its Reflections shimmering   in the waters and hymns echoing in the background  the temple offers a sanctuary of Serenity drawing   visitors from all walks of life so guys for people  that want to enter in the temple it's about a 2   and A2 hour line to wait to get in and uh no  photos or videos are allowed number two on the   list is to experience lunch at the golden temple  you can uh come inside grab your plates and people   are uh eating all over here so basically here  they serve food to anyone regardless of ethnicity   religion a serving free meals to thousands of  people daily for free this is irrespective to   religion cast or nationality so basically as you  can see there's rows of like carpets where people   come and uh sit down your bringer plates this  whole building is full of like multiple levels   oh wow maybe two two or three levels the longar at  the golden temple serves 50,000 people a day and   on religious occasions 100,000 per day prepared  with love and devotion by volunteers the simple   yet delectable vegetarian Fair embodies the seek  principles of selflessness and Community eating   on the floor alongside strangers underscores the  idea of universal Brotherhood the longar more than   just a meal it is an immersion Into the Heart of  seek Hospitality so many onions right now that   just walking through here my eyes are watering you  can see all the onion peels here number three on   the list is to visit the Jalan Walla bog the Jalan  Walla bog stands as a somber reminder of the 1919   Massacre where British troops killed hundreds of  unarmed civilians this wall has its own historic   significance as it has 36 bullet marks which were  fired by the order of General dire without any   warning to the crowd who had gathered here to  protest against the rot act a memorial erected   in the garden honors the victims ensuring their  sacrifices are never forgotten massive well in   the ground hard to see down there but it goes  really far downt okay 50 ft Down super far a   lot of people jumped in there there's a few more  bullet marks that hit this back wall right there   the wall as you can see has been restored cuz  that was quite a while ago but they've still   highlighted some of the bullet marks visiting this  site evokes a de sense of reverence and reflection   on India's tumultuous journey to Independence  and number four on the list is to visit the waga   border the waga border is one of the craziest  border ceremonies you can experience in the   world separating India and Pakistan it is renowned  for its daily flag lowering ceremony conducted by   both Count's Security Forces this spectacle  characterized by synchronized marches and   patriotic Fair Vore draws large crowds cheering  for their respective of [Applause] [Music] Nations though the display is dramatic it  concludes with a symbolic handshake between   soldiers from Pakistan and India signifying mutual  respect the ceremony is a vivid portrayal of the   historical and emotional ties binding the two  Nations this is a very unique experience that   one can go and visit and it is a completely free  experience whether you're on the Pakistan or India   side to go and cheer for the nation or just  simply taken the moments of experiencing we   about 20 ft from Pakistan right there well  we weren't able to get a uh photo with one   of the guards but we were able to snap one this  shows a great depiction of Pakistan on the right   side and then India right here I wanted to get  a photo supporting both countries at different   times because I'm not involved in the political  differences I find uh both countries amazing   things about them and I've thoroughly enjoyed my  time experiencing both sides cultures number five   on the list is to visit the partition Museum  I like that 400 prise 250 Indian 10 25x the   price this museum is dedicated to the memories  of the millions affected by the 1947 partition   the museum chronicle's personal stories artifacts  and photographs from that super challenging period   that many faced through interactive exhibits it  presents A Narrative of the largest mass migration   in human history visitors are transport Ed back  in time feeling the weight of individual Tales   of Hope Loss and resilience the museum serves as  a tribute to the indomitable Spirit of those who   rebuilt their lives from scratch number six on  the list is to visit rangla Punjab Havi normally   you're not actually allowed to film inside Havi  but we were able to work it out because we are   making a YouTube video today to show you guys  the experience with its rustic architecture   folk performances and vibrant atmosphere it's  a snapshot into punjab's rich cultural heritage   it looks like where all the kids come in to learn  and they all have their own uh chalkboards here oh   punishment uhoh how do they punish them they make  them sit like this with their ears closed for a   period of time it's a celebration of the undying  spirit and warmth of the Punjabi culture like it   really gives you a feel into what the village  culture life is like here in the amzar area so   visitors can experience authentic Punjabi Cuisine  one thing I want to mention like coming to havali   it's actually free to get in so it's free to get  in then obviously like if you're getting food here   or outside then um obviously you'll pay for that  but to enter the premises it is free so vegetables   are delicious very light spice to them hooked to  the nice amount nice and warm as well so guys for   us to eat all of that it came out to just about  1,43 so about like $12 to have this incredible   meal right here at tlli number seven on the list  is to enjoy a lassie at Giani Punjabi Lassie   amritsar's culinary landscape is incomplete  without the frothy creamy Lassie and gian's   Punjabi Lassie is among the best in town this  traditional yogurt-based drink often topped with a   dolop of creamy butter is both refreshing and Rich  it's like super creamy and those chunks are like   a very similar texture to like yogurt and it's  got a really good sweet flavor to it Giani with   its Generations old recipe offers an authentic  taste that has Enchanted locals and tourists   alike a glass here is not just a drink but a sip  of Punjabi tradition number eight on the list is   to visit the goind gar Fort we just asked some  people and apparently before 2:00 it's 50 rupees   and then at 3:00 when you only have 1 hour left  to explore the fort they raise it up to 6 times   the price the goar fort is a historic Monument  that stands as a sentinel of punjab's Rich past   so this was a prisoner cell back in the day here  we've got the well and is it just pouring water   down in there yeah they've got this thing covered  so they don't fall in this whole area was the part   that was filled up with water back in the day as  you can see that's how wide the area is outside   it's so hot but you walk in here and it's so much  cooler so look at this whole Courtyard inside yeah   this place is much larger than I expected it  to be once occupied by the legendary Maharaja   Ranjit Singh it showcases the Region's military  architecture and historical artifacts as you can   see behind me there's even the option to do camel  rides here so there's even an AR where you can   play laser tag on the inside there and we've got  restaurants there's a whole bunch of things inside [Music] here within its walls visitors can witness  live performances exhibitions and sound and light   shows that narrate the fort's storyed past that  whole theater setup was so so cool that they had   that you know it was like I didn't film really  much of it because you weren't allowed U but the   first step you went into like this super dark  theater room and they played some history then   the next room they had these mechanical chairs I  tried to film a little bit just to show you what   it looked like in there and they played like  some history with one of the great leaders in   Punjab and all the battles they fought now I  see why it's a little bit more holy moly now   I see why it's about 300 Rupees to get in you  know because there's so many other parts to it   but when we first walked into the fort I thought  it was just walk in this fort and then we leave   but actually when you get to the center of it  they have all of those other things you can do   inside so and number nine on the list is to go  to the durgana temple so we've got to drop our   shoes off right over here and then we can enter  oh that is hot to walk on so we got to take a   step right into here so I'm glad they have these  uh mats set up here cuz trying walking on wherever   the sun is is quite hot the durgana temple often  referred to as the Silver Temple due to its silver   doors is a significant Hindu Shrine in amzar  so we just walked through not allowed to bring   the camera inside but gave an offer echoing  the architecture of the golden temple it's   dedicated to goddess Durga and Lord Krishna the  Serene Ambiance accentuated by devotional hymns   offers a spiritual respite to visitors makes it  a must visit spot in the city last but not least   number 10 on the list of things to do here in  amzar Punjab is to visit Ram cultra Point Ram   cultra point is a Haven for food enthusiasts  these flaky butter Laden breads stuffed with   spicy fillings and served with Tangy Chutney and  curries makes it into a little uh rectangle here   what's all in there carrots peas onions corn some  seasonings delicious food all set up here and you   can see it's just loaded with oil and let's get  a little piece off there okay now I see what all   the hype is about you take a bite out of this you  can taste some veggies a very light Spice in there   and then with that like oily taste in there it  just gives it a nice chew to it 250 for 4 pieces   guys so for all of us to eat uh roughly like $3  and delicious all right guys and that concludes   this video one thing I want to mention I was just  here for a few days exploring with some friends   here plus the man the myth of Legend Raul who  is currently filming us and so we are only able   to do a small amount of the things that there  are to do here in amritara but I can tell you I   have a few more things in the description below  which you'll be able to directly book and check   out in this area so thank you guys so much for  watching and we will see you in the next video
