thank you so much for tuning in guys i just wanted to let you know pastor's message has just been on fire but i'm a little biased i always think it's on fire but it's been extra on fire so he's been talking about our covenant with god and there's three things that are part of that covenant and it is promises privileges and responsibilities but last week he really honed in on responsibilities and the aspect of responsibilities that he was talking about was understanding the laws of sowing and reaping and let me just say one thing that he got into last week sewing is not always convenient or easy and reaping is not automatic reaping is work timing is important location is essential if you're going to reap a harvest so you have to be at the right place at the right time ladies and gentlemen get prepared for an amazing amazing message today so as you may have noticed if you've been tuning in we've been interviewing some of our seeds members here just giving us enlightenment and and just encouragement and we have a great couple today that's going to do just that so i'm going to toss it to my co-host michelle michelle who do we have today good morning rasheeda i am michelle washington and thank you for joining us he's pretty sure i am super duper excited to be in the land of the living you're right i do have a special guest today i have daniel and abby daggadoo did i get it right because i've been replaying it in my mind and what was so incredible and almost funny to me the church of course is empty so a moment ago i said where we did you used to sit when church was happening and they said over there do you know when they came into the empty sanctuary they went right to the place that they used to sit in and they said it's just our spot it's just church is better sitting there so it's just amazing and thank you so much for being part of our pre-show so i heard that you paid off 240 dollars in 18 months is it 240 or 240 000 it's 240 000. we wish it was 240. me too i wish my debt was 242. so tell us the story about you paying instead off sure my wife and i um and our family started coming to seeds in 2013 and uh right around that time you know we started really getting into the word we started uh hearing pastor jerome preach about giving and and you know reaping uh what you saw and uh we also started hearing about fpu you know financial peace university dna that never again these were all new concepts to us that we had never heard before um so you know at that point in our life we had what seemed to be an astronomical amount of debt in our life and we really didn't know how to even go about uh beginning to tackle it yeah um so we decided to enroll in financial peace university and um just going through it uh the principles that i taught which are based on biblical principles as well as the word that we got from seed on giving we feel like god really just opened up you know the gates of heaven and poured out an incredible blessing into our life that we were able to pay off 240 thousand dollars in debt in a very short period of time of 18 months that's incredible i mean you gave us the summary of that and i know paying ties in your offering is one of the major things that we must do but it also it had to take discipline in the whole gamut so talk about that yes so um as daniel said we enroll in a financial peace university but one thing that you have to understand as a believer uh you have to understand the word and also what you believe like uh your relationship with christ because the fundamental of christianity is really your relationship relationship and you believe in your faith and also some of the fundamentals of christianity so you have to believe that when god put it in your heart to enroll in something he's going to get you through and what you have to do is if in every relationship you have to do your part god is not going to come from heaven to come and do everything for you and your part is believing your part is trusting your part is uh uh being diligent in the word being diligent in your given being diligent when he tells you to do something you do it even though we had that amount of debt we were still giving out tight we were still giving our offering and he made sure that what he has said that if we trust him in little he will bless us he'll open up the windows of heaven and bless us he definitely did it in a way that we still sometimes when we still think uh think about it we like we can't understand how our human ability would have gotten us through that journey so you have to be one thing that i always tell people you have to be faithful yeah that's not the letter that god give give you have to be faithful you cannot take that ten percent that he is requiring of you and think that the 90 will be something that you can do anything with yeah because if you trust me in this little i will open the as i said before i'll open the windows of heaven and bless you you don't have to understand how he's going to bless you yeah you just have to obey that so wait a minute abby i want you to say that again because sometimes we're trying to figure out how god is going to bless us and you're saying we just have to do the what part you just have to obey you just have to be faithful just be committed committed to what he tells you to do yeah don't worry about he's going to power the red sea for you that's not part of your job he told moses put that rock down it wasn't moses business to know if it's going to turn into a serpent or it was going to what he's going to do you just have to trust him when he speaks the word to you so wait a minute because everything not only what you're saying but every couple that we have talked to y'all are saying some of the same things and pastors been preaching on um about adding to our faith and you're telling us the things that you're added to your faith but you also are saying the work that you had to do and the work was your obedience consistently yeah and and what you said the plan was going to be for your family yes so you have to get that's why i said in a relationship with christ you have to know you have to trust him you know even the bible says in uh mark 11 24 it says you know believe that when you pray what you're going to receive you're going to receive you have to first he's not going to say you i will give it to you you have to trust first so you're building that relationship by trusting him in this and once you trust him from step one then he's going to open step two to you but you cannot pass the test and step one if you don't trust him yeah so sometimes we as christians we just want to know what what is the end yes but we don't want to do know what is in between yeah but through that difficulties through that discipline that is where your next level is going to be you cannot jump through the fire without going or past go over the fire without going through the fire yeah and he says even through the valleys you know of shuttle that i am with you yeah you have to have this past year we have gotten to a place that the only thing that we take in our life is the word of god whatever the devil throws off at us we tell him no that's not what the word tells us that's not what my god tells me he gave his son who who was rich for him to be poor so that i might be rich so you have to take that word and hold on to it and when that becomes it no this is this is what my bible tells me and that's what i'm going for well abby listen i thought you i brought you and your husband on so y'all could testify but you up here preaching and inspiring and empowering because you're saying so very much because what you're saying is sometimes we miss the exceeding and abundant we sometimes miss the pouring out of the blessing it's because we jump over steps and we're and we're and when we jump over steps we're actually creating the image of what we want instead of trusting god being faithful and faithful in your times and offering trust in god and then allowing god to manifest the next step yes so i said earlier that a lot of it i know had to come with discipline talk about the discipline you have to have to have get rid of or destroy demolish 200 let me say that again for people that's just joining 240 000 in 18 months sure so the main thing is being able to do your budget every month that's something that we never did before in our lives so initially it was a little bit hard for us to all sit down and um you know take care of uh you know not just our income that's coming in but also what's going out right you know we had certain leaks that we didn't even know about right so when you sit down and do your budget all of a sudden you realize okay uh maybe i don't need a subscription to netflix and hulu and disney plus and the sports channel when i only watch tv maybe three hours a week right so these are some of the things that the budget forces you um to to come to terms with and a lot of people don't want to spend the time to do that but once you actually do that again that's where that breakthrough comes you know and um one one of the bible verse that comes to mind right now is jeremiah 33 3. he says call out to me and i'll show you great and mighty things things that were hidden to you you know as christians god gives us the keys to be able to live our life and part of that is your financial peace you know there are biblical principles that you can put in place yeah to to become financially free and when you pray to god when you take the necessary steps like abby said god will show you what you need to do in order to destroy whatever mountain because whatever we feel like is a mountain in our life it's not greater than god god is greater than say that again daniel say that again whatever we think of as a mountain in our life it's just a more hill for god it's not it's not bigger than god amen so you mean two hundred and forty thousand dollars it's not nothing to god that's like a problem that was that was just uh a a flea to god and i i think what daniel said uh on the cross he said it is finished and that's one thing that we have to hold on to anything that is going into your life it is finished so you have to hold on and and say god you you your sunset is finished on the cross that means death that means uh illness that means whatever is going on in my life it is finished and i declare your word and he said my word shall not go forth and return to me void it god feed but it's fine but listen we're going to wrap up this pre-show it's not enough of time to go into it but what what is that one thing you would tell people that are watching now to inspire them on my end i'll say be faithful be faithful in all that you do and trust that he will he will bring you through daniel uh don't just be focused on your income you have to do a budget you have to know where that money that's coming in where it's going promise and it won't stop now do you believe that today he's a man of his word actually he's not a man but that's the way we relate it in this song but he is so so faithful so so faithful i love that a package this morning milton excellent job praise team thank you so much great job as usual right praise god they are so faithful and god is faithful amen amen well we welcome you this morning i know you're glad that you tuned in that praise and worship package is warming you up to receive the word of god this morning i'll tell you what god is faithful he is a faithful faithful father father and he's looking for his faithful sheep amen and if we are faithful we can count on his promises right well praise god we're so glad you tuned in today uh we have a few people here in the sanctuary we're glad you're here and we just again i i feel like i'm on repeat but i i really commend our team our staff week after week coming in and making it happen so that you have a live worship experience i know it's not the same and this week i was a little frustrated i'm a little tired of all this i'm ready for a and i know breakthrough is coming but until then pastor started off teaching even before the pandemic talking to us about being content amen but we are going to be content until that breakthrough comes and we know it's coming amen and we'll be able to gather in person there's something about the personal interaction and that's why the bible says forsake not the assembling of yourself you know and um because we get a lot from that and we're assembling ourselves virtually but i'm telling you when we get back it's going to be an awesome time amen amen amen well we've got some really uh really cool things happening it's been a busy week here at seeds over the last several weeks a pastor's done several weddings and we had one yesterday where tara fisher and elijah his last name slips me um but they got married young couple got married here just a intimate group uh gathering to wish them well uh tara is a nurse i think at christiana care and elijah is a elijah as a police officer in middletown so we're excited about that and then a couple of weeks ago larita graham who had been divorced for 15 years 15 years single and les jones came into her life and they got married in an intimate ceremony a couple weeks ago here at the church and then later today my nephew michael and abrielle are getting married so we're just celebrating love here at seas of greatness even in the midst of all this and my heart goes out to the couples that are getting married because this is not the way they plan to do it you know in the middle of a pandemic but they believe this is their time you know you try to say you sure you don't want to wait and no we want to get married now we want to get married now so we're just praying blessing over them and and god will just restore everything that they may have thought they missed out on but they're going to have it in jesus name so we're excited about what he's doing i did want to mention to you one other thing coming up on december the 12th we did this once like a week or so ago we partnered with saint francis hospital and they brought their mobile health clinic out to seeds of greatness and opened up to the community the opportunity to get free flu shots so we did that about two weeks ago coming up on december the 12th we're partnering with nemours children's hospital and we're going to be doing another free flu shot clinic here on our grounds and in addition to that they are going to be doing a food distribution as well and we know that in this time that we're living in it might not be affecting some of us many of us but there is a lot of food insecurity and what that means is people don't have enough to eat and many of us are eating too much and some people have nothing to eat and we want to be mindful of that so also on that day december the 12th from 11 to 3 in addition to folks being able to come and get um a free flu shot they can also get groceries so if you know of anybody we'll be circulating this on our social media as well but if you know anybody who needs a flu shot no charge at all needs groceries they can come for one or the other or both um tell them about december 12th right here on our grounds from 11 to 3. i was thinking about it this morning as we were preparing to come in uh even jesus fed people see people they they should work and they should get some money and they should buy their own food but whatever their circumstances is are sometimes they are not able to do it maybe they should have brought their lunch when jesus when they went to hear jesus speak he didn't say that he just fed them because he knew they were hungry right and so a lot of times before you can even minister spiritually to people you need to meet their natural needs amen and that's what we aim to do here at seeds of greatness minister spirit soul and body the spirit man the soulish man the mental aspect and then the body so we seek to do all three here at sea so mark that on your calendar december the 12th and we are going to um open ourselves up to the community as well we were doing the uh the coronavirus uh testing here but it got to be because of the surge and all the stuff that's going on um we're not able to do it seeds anymore because of the volume of people and because of the way we're set up we're off of 273 and just one lane going in each direction so the last time we did it traffic was backed up all the way to 13 which makes for a safety hazard paramedics couldn't get through fire trucks couldn't get through and if they're doing it somewhere else where there's two lanes of traffic in each direction it makes it better because one lane can be held up for the testing people trying to get in others can get around but doesn't work anymore it sees but you know how many we tested all together we told you it was ten 000 the last count it's up to 14 000 up to 14 000 people so that's that's a great uh effort in our community um and there you can go on the various websites to see if you need tests or whatever but we're just uh excited that we're able to do things to help even though we're not physically in church ministry continues ministry continues and we're we're endeavoring to use all the tools in our toolbox all the tools in our toolbox to help our community um to be uh safe and to be uh healthy in every way spirit soul and body did you who tuned into the pre-show today wasn't the pre-show excellent excellent michelle you and your your team of uh co-hosts do a great job week after week um today we had some special guests with us uh daniel and abby dagger boo dagger goo daniel and abby come on up guys i asked them to stay um and and i asked them if they would come up this morning michelle you can give them that mic right there um because their testimony was amazing if you didn't tune into the pre-show i'm just going to give you a little background and then i'm going to let them uh share a little bit because daniel said something um towards the end that just really blessed me come on up guys and we'll do a little social uh distancing so you stand right there and we'll try to do our part to and y'all get everybody in the shot right not just me all right so um they you guys took financial piece the course that we offer here um when was that in uh 2014 2014 um what are your occupations i'm a pharmacist and abby's i'm a food scientist you're a flu scientist food scientist oh a food scientist a food scientist that's interesting i basically make um formulations with big companies like nestle campbell sue awesome awesome okay so they took the financial peace course that we've been offering here for many many years under the direction of elder rick edwards shout out to elder edwards doing a great job and the team that he has working with him but daniel and abby you guys had hundred and forty thousand dollars worth of debt did that is correct did that include a mortgage or was that no uh that including your loans uh two car payments and some credit card debt okay so you found yourself um here and you heard about financial peace and you had student loans because you're a pharmacist and you're a food scientist and i cost a lot of money to be that if you've got it if you got to do it that way right so so tell us what made you decide to do financial peace take financial peace class so we felt at the time uh that we were making enough of an income to pretty much make a dent in the debt that we had but that was not the case because we had uh you know several credit cards that we use every month and then at the end of the month we found that you know we had all these bills to pay so it just didn't quite make sense why you know we're making a decent salary but our student loans are not going down um you know and credit cards are not going down um the car payment is still where it is so you know we just we just felt like there has to be a better way and we had tried to we had tried to do it on our own but we couldn't see anything so when we got introduced to financial peace we saw that the principles and the uh the uh concept and is something that's really uh uh i guess insightful for us it prones some interest in us and that's why we decided to enroll in the class that's really good one of the things that you you said that you started doing um was you started to have work started to work a budget yes and when you started to work a budget what did you see i thought that was key what did you see when you started to write down and work your budget so once you start doing the budget with financial peace university you start seeing where all of the money is going once it comes through the front door where exactly is it going through the back door and a lot of times we're so focused on going out there to make more money but we're not paying attention to where that money is is going once it actually comes into our lives so you used a word um earlier uh i think you called them leaks you you saw some leaks that you had absolutely describe some of those leaks because i think some other folks might have some of those leaks as well sure so one big leak is paying interest you know if you're carrying a credit card uh balance and not paying it off every month there's interest involved in that and that is a leak that's money that could otherwise stay within your family maybe for you to be able to invest you know one of the things for us was we had cable packages that we never even watched but we were paying you know incredible amounts of money every month for streaming services and things like that meanwhile we wanted our kids to spend more time reading rather than watching tv so those were some of the leaks that we had to actually get rid of i think i think that that really is key some of the other leaks that some of us could have is eating out more frequently and instead of buying groceries and eating in cooking that's almost like a bad word sometime because you know that you could spend on one meal what you could uh have a week of groceries for you know so that's another leak so you guys had the button down did you keep working your regular jobs how did you how did you manage that because 240 000 in a year and a half that's like a salary or two for some people so how did you how did you come up with that kind of money to pay off that debt and still manage your regular household sure so at the time that we started financial peace university our combined incomes did not add up to 240 000 okay okay there is no way that we could have even imagined when we first began that we would be able to pay it off in the amount of time that we paid it off um but once we made that commitment and we took the first step we started doing the budget god supernaturally showed us revealed to us ways that you can actually pay down your debt and once that happened um he also opened doors for us you know in the form for me of a consulting job that i got in addition to my regular job so that brought in additional income and in the past any additional income probably would have gotten spent but this before if if extra money came in you bought it bought something you didn't pay down debt exactly but in this in this uh this time uh we knew exactly where that extra income would go even before it came in and you know it was dedicated towards paying down our debt and making sure that our family got out of debt and then abby also got an increase at work during that time so all of these uh things you know were increases that god sort of gave to us once we made that commitment to do financial peace wonderful was are you guys tithers and offering givers yes that's what i was going to say something um so you have to do your part as i said before for the pre-show you ha something in the bible that tells us in a uh matthew 6 it says when you give when you pray and when you fast so you have to understand that those three components goes together say them again when you give when you pray and when you fast you cannot do two and leave one you have to be faithful in all three for god to bless you and the most important things and if you see is given first praying and fasting then given is a mess so that's something that you have to pay attention to am i doing my tithe right you know this uh just saying that goes if your life is tight check your tight so if your life is tight if tense are tight in your life things are tight check your tithe if things are tight in your life check your time yes because if you do not give he's not going to pull down the blessings of that's right and one thing that we noticed during that time there was a time that my husband brought an idea was why don't we pay all our tithe at the end of the year of the year and i was like dude this is not going to happen because at the end of the year you're going to be like oh it's too hard it's too huge of a an amount to pay so he was suggesting paying it later yeah later at the end of the year yes yes but then you know we we talked about it and we're like no so we stay faithful even though we had that mountain of debt we were givers we were paying our tights every 240 000 in debt not including a mortgage and you were still paying your tithes yes every time you went to church or whenever yes we were still paying all tight and we're still sowing seeds you know it's it's something that we were brought up to do and by you know being in this relationship leadership is something that is important for your christian life as a christian basically awesome awesome so in closing daniel what would you encourage our folks to do when they're feeling like they have a lot of debt and they just can't see their way to to give their ties what would you encourage them to do sure um so first of all uh as christians we're not walking alone right we're walking with god and god is with us at every step of the way so when god calls us to do certain things to you know live our life by certain principles we have to be faithful to that um for me at that point in our lives sitting down to do a budget was almost like pulling teeth you know you could not get me to sit down to do it but once i did it one month two months it became uh simple so i would i would encourage everybody if you don't currently have a budget if you don't have a way of commanding your money um where it should go then then you should uh you know go ahead and do that because that's what the budget is uh demanding your money commanding your money where yep so you know a lot of people will go through the month and then reconcile their expenses at the end of the month a budget tells the money where it's going so before it even comes in we know that we're spending 400 on groceries we're spending 200 on dining we're spending you know x amount of dollars on entertainment so you know you have to be able to command that money where it should go and that's part of being a good steward and when god sees that faithfulness when god sees that you've been faithful and a steward of the little he's able to bless you with more excellent thank you both for joining us today that was so inspiring so so inspiring let's give them a big hand so i wanted you to hear that this morning those of you who were not able to tune into the pre-show because again i think it's so inspiring but it's it's the the super and the natural coming together you know they they couldn't just pray and say god erase our debt i mean a lot of us have tried that that doesn't work you got to work you got to have a budget you got to command your money instead of your money commanding you or things commanding you uh you got to command your money and then you can have the blessing amen amen i hear people say all the time what's for me is for me y'all ever hear people say that you ever said it i know a lot of y'all have said that because i've seen it but just because it's for you doesn't mean you're going to get it just before because it's for you doesn't mean you you're going to get there are principles there are principles that we have to work in the natural and in the spiritual what's for you is not automatically going to happen to you because there's an enemy out there and he's trying to stop every blessing and if you just sit back and think oh what's for me is for me que sera sera whatever will be we're be you're not gonna have much but you gotta get out there and you gotta work the word of god and i'm telling you it works i am a witness that it works every time in every way it works in where healing is concerned it works in our finances it works in our marriage it works in raising our children if we operate in the word of god we're going to have everything he promised amen well we're going to get ready now to receive the morning tithes and offerings and we're just excited about what god is doing what he's going to do i know this has been a rough time for for some folks but we're even praying blessings on you if you've had a rough time you know during this pandemic get into the word i'm telling you hold on to the word of god and you will come through this victoriously in jesus name in jesus name amen well let's pray and then uh you're a man of your word you're not a man that you would lie neither the son of man that you would repent what you've spoken you'll do i thank you god that you're not a respecter of persons what you've done for daniel and abby father you're willing and able to do for every one of us as long as we are faithful and we operate according to your word father as we sow our seeds today we thank you that as we sow it comes back to us on every wave in the name of jesus pressed down shaken together and running over will men give unto us and we are looking forward to that blessing and when it comes we'll give back we'll sow seed will tithe and we'll give offerings father and we'll just be a blessing to your people and to the uh the world around us in jesus name amen the praise team is going to there okay god bless you you ready to preach yes ma'am i know you are yes ma'am lady in red amen praise the lord wow what a great pre-service and testimony of god's faithfulness heavenly father we thank you for the great mighty one the holy spirit who is our helper and our guide we trust him today for great things in our lives and father we ask you today for the wisdom of god i thank you for a supply of the spirit that will cause illumination revelation and insight thank you for questions being answered problems being solved by the word of the living god father we covenant with you in advance that you alone will receive all of the glory all of the honor and praise and thanksgiving for the great things that you are doing among us and father we thank you for the anointing that removes burdens and destroys yokes in our lives and we believe father that we have come to the kingdom for such an hour as this and we believe that our covenant is in good working order and that father you are working on our behalf moving shifting rearranging things and bringing us into position of opportunity we believe that the word of god is working mightily on the inside of us affecting healing and and wholeness in our bodies we believe that our minds are sound that our bodies are healthy and father we thank you we praise you and we worship you for the gifts of the holy spirit we thank you for a word of wisdom a word of knowledge and the discerning of spirits we thank you for prophecy we thank you father for the gifts of healing special faith and father we thank you for the gifts of working of miracles father we just praise you for your goodness and your mercy today and god may you increase in us today and may we decrease and father may we as we approach your word have a reverence and an honor as we open up the holy text that father your word will be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway i pray in the name of jesus god for peace of mind in the hearts of your people and those that are viewing father those that are tormented in their mind plagued in their mind by harassing spirits in the name of jesus we bind those harassing spirits of worry and fear and we thank you for the peace of god father from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet we give you praise glory honor and worship in jesus name amen say it with me my faith is not fragile my faith is not weak but my faith gets stronger every time i speak come on say it again my faith is not fragile my faith is not weak my faith gets stronger every time i speak amen thank god for those great testimonies uh that the great testimony that we heard today and i was just thinking as i was in the back listening to the testimony i was thinking of what we have declared that seeds of greatness would be a five-star church and one of the aspects of being a five-star church is being a distribution center to the community and to the world not just the body here but being a distribution center and god is fulfilling his word on our behalf i want you to know that when god speaks his word over our life famine change of seasons doesn't change what god has promised you and you and i need to be determined we need to be tenacious when it comes down to what god has said that in spite of the season you might be in in spite of what you're going through his prophetic word does not change in fact the bible tells us that through prophetic words you and i are supposed to war a good warfare that means that you're supposed to use that prophetic word to stand against what the enemy is bringing at you can you say amen to that and so today we want to continue along the lines of our responsibility in regard to our covenant understanding the laws of sowing and reaping and it's very important for you and i as people of god uh that we grab a hold of this some of the things that you'll hear will be things that you've heard before but i really believe that this word that i'm sharing with you in regard to covenant and talking about the responsibilities of covenant a lot of times you won't hear me say that uh this is prophetic but i'm here to tell you that what i'm sharing with you i really believe is a word to prepare us for what god has in store for us and where we are going with that being said i want you to open up your bibles with me if you will to proverbs chapter 22. proverbs chapter 22 i'm going to be reading out of the king james the passion translation and the message bible passion translation and the message bible king james first i want you to look at proverbs chapter 22 verse 3 proverbs chapter 22 verse 3. all right it reads a prudent man foresees the evil and hides himself but the simple passes on and are punished a prudent man foresees evil and hides himself but the simple passes on and are punished the passion translation says a prudent person with insight foresees danger coming and prepares himself for it but the senseless rushes rush blindly forward and suffer the consequences the definition of the word prudent means a wise man a wise man or a man who has common sense a man who has common sense the passion translation again a prudent man a prudent person with insight and this is a key word there insight foresees danger coming and prepares himself for it but the senseless rush blindly forward and suffer the consequences the message bible says the prudent person sees trouble coming and ducks a simpleton walks in blindly and is clobbered a prudent person sees trouble coming and ducks a simple a simpleton walks in blindly and is clobbered you say pastor what does this have to do with increase the laws of increase i'm here to tell you today i see some things coming i see some things coming i have some insight some things are coming down the pike and what i'm trying to do as a pastor is prepare you before it gets here now you can brush it aside and say well that's just past the bridging you simple and you won't get clobbered but if you will grab a hold of this and start preparing yourself right now start preparing yourself right now listen with a heart to know listen with ears to hear i believe that the insight the danger that's coming you'll be prepared for it seeds of greatness with before this pandemic hit we prepared you a whole year in advance talking about the condition of the churches we talked almost nine months ten months talking about the condition of the church preparing you for what was coming down the pike and so for those that listen you'll be the person that won't be taking advantage of when when when danger comes but the simple person or i like to call them what the bible calls them the fool will come walking blindly in and become clobbered and you can see this time and time throughout the scripture you look at the life of joseph you can write these scripture references down these are people who had insight before danger came and as a result of them having insight they were able to be preserved when danger or a change in season took place joseph in genesis 41 25 god gave him insight by a dream of famine that was going to last for seven years and when seven years of famine came the bible says that the people from different nations started coming and giving to joseph joseph was in so much charge that he was able to buy people because money had lost his value i'm here to tell you that we're coming to that place again that money is going to lose its value and those of you that have value and stock in god are going to be the ones that are able to navigate when what you have faith in you think you've seen the oppression in wall street church we've not seen anything yet and see you have to understand the systems of this world are operated by the god of this world and he comes to steal kill and to destroy and if we are locked into the systems of the world when the systems go down we're going to go down with it but when you and i operate in god's principles that he has outlined in his word these principles are designed to preserve us these principles are designed to keep us when everything else is losing its value what you sow into with the kingdom will always have an eternal value in your life and it will have sustaining power in your life you see this in the life of joseph you see it in the life of david david knew what he was up against and because he had the anointing of god on his life notice what it says in the message bible a prudent man sees trouble coming and he ducks david had so much wisdom that when he went into the company of saul the anointing of god on david's life when saul threw a javelin at him he was able to duck and maneuver himself from the javelins that was thrown at him do you understand that when you walk in discernment when you walk in the spirit when you are led by the spirit of god when people throw things at you the anointing will give you the ability and the timing to know how to duck so that you are not nailed against the wall and this is what saul tried to do to david on numerous occasions he tried it in first samuel chapter 18 verse 11. he tried it in sec first samuel chapter 19 in verse 10 different times he tried to nail him to the wall with his javelin now you've got to understand saul would have never thrown his javelin at david if saul didn't think he was accurate enough to hit him he would have never thrown his javelin at at david if he didn't think he was accurate enough to hit him but you have to understand when saul was disobedient the anointing lifted off of him and when the anointing lifted off of him because of different disobedience when the anointing wasn't there on saul it caused him to be inaccurate and when the anointing lifts off of you because of disobedience what you were once accurate with will cause you to be inaccurate but when the anointing lifted off of saul because of his disobedience the anointing settled down on david and when the anointing's on you no matter what people throw at you the anointing will give you the ability to maneuver and duck what people throw at you even the people you work with because saul david was working for saul saul was david's employer david got his paycheck from saul and sometimes you're working for people and they're throwing stuff at you do you know that the anointing will and don't listen when god says duck don't be so prideful you don't move your head because sometimes we think we'll bless god no weapon formed against me shall prosper yeah but you still need the duck you still might see the weapon you still might see the weapon being manufactured by a group of people and even after it's formed even after it's developed even after it's shaped it still won't work i mean they've got a gun pointed at you and the trigger don't work they've got a resume a whole uh uh uh memo about you and the in the printer don't work you've got to understand you've got to understand that a wise man will see it coming how do i get the insight to see it coming before i ever arrive there the only way you're going to get the insight insight means to see inside the only way you're going to get the insight is by spending time in the secret place if you'll spend time in the secret place god will give you insight can you say amen to this david was able to duck on numerous occasions and i love this even though saul threw the javelin at him david didn't quit his job he didn't quit his job and so many times when people throw javelins at us the first thing we want to do is start job searching god didn't tell david the job search david showed back up with the same level of respect and the same responsibility to play for the person who tried to throw javelin at him and so many times we don't have enough backbone in the church we're ready to quit we say god sent us there and the moment we have a little bit of friction we're ready to depart if god told you to go there and he ordered your steps to be there then you can't leave when you want to because stepping out of a place that god assigned you to is stepping away from his grace and his grace is his ability to function and do what he has assigned you to do in that place can you say amen to this david didn't quit his job and i'm talking about seeing things coming seeing trouble come seeing danger come getting insight to come not to get in a place of panic not to get in a place of fear but knowing how to prepare yourself in fact the bible says in in proverbs chapter 6 i think it is it says we can learn some stuff from the ant we can learn some stuff from the ant the ant starts storing up before the winter comes and so many times we wait until it's snow outside and now we want to go grocery shopping we've got to be smarter than the ant you need to start preparing for what's coming down the pike and i'm here to tell you that the systems of the world are not designed to run forever they are falling apart the scripture even says that the systems of the world are falling apart and you and i need to start preparing ourselves the way we prepare ourselves for this crash that's coming is that we have to get into an intimate serious relationship with god and not go off of what somebody else's experience is but we need to have our own experience with god by spending time in his presence can you say amen to this so joseph is an example a famine was coming god prepared joseph he gave him insight into here's the wonderful thing and the amazing thing to as i was reading this do you know that before the famine came god gave pharaoh a dream now it's interesting how god preserved pharaoh who was not a godly king god preserved pharaoh because joseph was in his kingdom if you read the scripture text the bible says god gave pharaoh a dream to show him what was about to happen and god had somebody in pharaoh's company who had the insight to help the president of the company on how to navigate a downsizing are you hearing me and god had him in a place that people had to go get him from a low level job position he was in prison and in this low-level job position that joseph was in he was elevated from the basement to the to the penthouse because of his relationship with god do you understand people might not even know your name people might not even know you work for the company in fact you might be at the entry level but i'm here to tell you that when you have a relationship with god they will find you when there's problems but you need to make sure that you have such a relationship with god that what's going on in the company god will give you the insight not being braggadocious not being prideful not being on an ego trip they will find you now here's the thing that happened joseph fixed other people's problems before he fixed pharaoh's problems he was able to interpret uh who was it the baker's dream in the cupbearer's dream and as a result of their positioning they were able to speak a word on his behalf that's called networking and as a result of him fixing their problems they forgot about him for three years i mean he fixed their problem and they forgot about joseph for three years do you know that some people you will help you will think they forgot about you but it just ain't your season yet and you've got to learn to be able to be patient when those that year passes by and nobody notices you that second year passes by and nobody notice you that third year passes you've been working in this company and still in the basement working in that company and nobody notices you you've got to understand that if things have not happened according to your clock and according to your timing it just simply means that your season hasn't come yet and in that season you've got to learn to be patient and in your patient waiting season you learn to worship and as you worship god god will find you if you're in the basement you're at the entry level you're in the prison god will find you just like he found joseph and because of joseph sowing into somebody's life who he didn't know the networking process kicked in three years later and he says i remember a guy who would help me get back to my he helped me get a job back he helped me to get my job back and as a result of him helping me to get my job back he might be able to help you and because of joseph helping someone else god gave him insight on how to fix something because of david being under the anointing he was able to duck when things were thrown at him the same anointing that david had gave him the ability to duck when things were thrown at him you have that same anointing on the inside of you to be able to deduct things when things are thrown at you on the job because things are thrown at you at the job on the job doesn't give you as i said before it's very important it does not give you the ability to quit because you're facing things being thrown at you it does not give you the the freedom to quit because things are thrown at you you've got to understand people one person was trying to kill david and people might try to kill your reputation people might try to kill your influence on the job go to work tomorrow stop calling off and saying you're sick go to work and do your job with excellence if you're supposed to go there like david and play music make sure it's the best music that you can ever that you can produce if you're supposed to go on that job tomorrow go in on that job and show up don't go don't stay home and talk yourself out of it or talk yourself into a frenzy or talk yourself into a sickness and say well you know what i believe i got a toothache i believe my left foot hurts no you go to work tomorrow just like david even though you had a javelin thrown at you on friday can you say amen it's the same thing with esther esther a wise woman the bible says she listen she stepped into something because she saw something coming there was going to be an ex they were going to kill the jews and what esther did she saw trouble coming and she was able to step into something off of the advice of good counsel and become a part of a beauty pageant do you understand what i'm saying to you the the scripture is full of things that you and i can learn from she got advice from someone she got good counsel from someone and and and they said you come to the kingdom for such an hour as this see sometimes you don't know what your timing is but god will surround you with people that know your timing and you've got to be willing to listen to their advice he said you've come to the kingdom for such an hour as this she went through the process and she became the next queen of the kingdom she entered into a beauty pageant can you say amen to that if god did this and these are examples of people seeing danger coming and prepared they they were able to prepare themselves and other people around them the holy spirit the bible says in saint john 16 13 the holy spirit has been sent to guide us he's been sent to speak to us and he's been sent to show us things that come can you say amen to this i said can you say amen to this the holy spirit has been sent to show us things to come and i'm here to tell you that things are going to change rapidly things are going to change and you and i need to be aware that our trust and our confidence in god is going to be the thing that's going to sustain us i as i said before i love the testimonies talking about financial peace and and and how they were saying that you have to command your money and and you know you don't only have to command your money you got to command your emotions i i remember when when lisa and i we were uh dealing with some financial difficulty and we had made a decision we were going to cut back on christmas and this was man this was before we had kids we're going to cut back on christmas we're going to cut back we're not going to buy stuff for ourselves for easter you know easter everybody wants a new outfit and we got into arguments man i mean i i you know i wanted to get a new suit and she said well that's not something we're gonna do we can't do anything i said can i get a tie he said we're not spending we were getting the arguments over that type of thing man and but you know why we got no arguments it wasn't because we didn't have a budget it's because we weren't commanding our money my emotions was commanding me you know my emotions were saying you deserve it you work hard every week pay yourself and we kind of we got we got the arguments over there man i'm telling you and i had to learn that if we wanted to get in a better place financially we had to sacrifice we had to discipline our flesh and discipline your flesh you know your emotions are attached to your money you know your emotions are attached to your money you don't think so listen i take your money you'll cry you'll fight if you're carnal you might cuss them out but your emotions are attached to your money and this is where you got to speak to your flesh and command your emotions when lisa and i started on this track of eliminating debt in our life one of the first things we had to do is we had to repent i know people don't want to hear that but we had to repent and the reason why we had to repent is because we were not being good stewards over what god had placed in our hands it wasn't that we didn't know we just chose to be selfish and spend it on us and we had to repent we had to take responsibility for where we were we couldn't blame the pastor we couldn't blame the church we had to take responsibility ourselves and says you know what i shouldn't have brought that box of molasses cookies i could smell them now but i had to take responsibility i shouldn't have bought that suit that didn't look right you know you buy something you shouldn't buy and then you think it don't look right or you buy something that shines in the in the jewelry store but when you take it home i don't have the same light on it and i've i learned from my daughter it's a certain type of light they have them them them rings under that shine and make them look sparkle i thought they sprayed some spray on them or something made them shine we had to put discipline in place and that's the first thing we had to do we had to repent say god we weren't good stewards we were foolish and selfish and lord if you'll help us we'll be we'll do better now have we been perfect since then no and as you walk through the process of eliminating debt as you walk through the process of of getting your finances in place you're going to have to make some decisions about the choices that you make if you don't change your choices then your situation's not going to change doesn't make a difference how much you fast doesn't make a difference how much you pray if you don't make some different choices you're going to continue in the pattern and it's not a curse it's a pattern it's not a curse it's a cycle and the only way you can break cycles and patterns is you have to make different choices make different choices because most of the time we found out that our problem wasn't a money problem we made more money than our parents ever dreamed our problem was the money problem our problem was a discipline problem of of having a discipline enough to not spend when we shouldn't be and as a result of that we got ourself into a hole i i was in the back taking notes one of the things that they said was having a plan and a budget i call budget a money tracer it traces your money to help you track where your money's going and they talked about leaks and all these things were tying into my message today they also talked about having a plan and if you're going to succeed when it comes down to when danger comes and when change comes and being in a place of of of knowing your season of harvest and knowing your season's so you need to have a plan any good farmer who's going to reap a crop needs to have a plan a plan to plant and a plan to harvest there is no farmer who does not have a calendar or an almanac to know what how the weather's going to be to know how uh what time of the month he's going to harvest or what time of the month he's going to sow he gets out there and he prepares the soil and child of god when it comes down to you stepping into your covenant right of increase you need to have a plan god's already got a plan what we've got to do is align our plan with his plan can you say amen to that and i believe that as we walk out that plan god will cause things to come together look with me in proverbs chapter 24 proverbs chapter 24 uh verses 3 and 4. proverbs chapter i'm going to read in the king james i'm going to read it in the message bible and then the nlt okay uh proverbs chapter 24 proverbs chapter 24. that's great scripture proverbs 24. all right say i i need a plan come on say it i need a plan okay things are not just going to happen in your life by accident i said this to you last week the last time we were together nothing just happens nothing just happens we have to understand that there are spiritual laws that are involved in our lives as people of god and we've got to walk out these spiritual laws if we're going to walk in the blessing that god has for us proverbs chapter 24 verses 3 and 4. this is a great scripture man finding it in the uh message bible also okay proverbs chapter 24 verses three and four it says through wisdom didn't it just say about a wise man a prudent man it says through wisdom is a house built is that what it says in your bible is that what it says in your bible yo through wisdom is a house built and by understanding it is established and by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches a wise man is strong yes a man of knowledge increases strength look what the nlt says here the new living translation talking about having a plan a house is built by wisdom and become strong through what through good sense through knowledge is its rooms filled with all sorts of precious riches valuables the wise are mightier than the strong and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger the message bible it takes wisdom to build a house an understanding to set it on a firm foundation it takes knowledge to furnish its rooms with fine furniture and beautiful drapery it's better to be wise than strong intelligence outranks muscles any day i'm going to read a translation i don't know if they have up there but it's a translation that i want you to hear and i think it's applicable to having a plan this is the living bible i don't know if they have that but it reads like this it's very very very powerful listen to this any enterprise is built by wise planning any enterprise is built by wise planning becoming strong through common sense and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts that's a powerful translation because this is any enterprise your home your business is going to be built by wise planning your life is going to be built by wise planning and if you don't plan then things are not going to come together write this statement down people don't plan to fail they fail to plan people don't plan to fail they fail to plan your faith will build the house according to the blueprint of your vision and this is where you and i as people of god we must have a plan and have insight into what god wants to do in our life these rules of reaping don't happen automatically and and it is so important that we understand this that you will not harvest automatically there are things that you're going to have to do that at times will not seem convenient it will not be comfortable but but as the couple said earlier you've got to do it anyway when you don't feel like giving you if you want to harvest you've got to sow and you've got to make sure that you keep yourself on god's schedule regardless of what's happening around you we've heard testimonies of people that have been unemployed still playing paying stuff off we've heard testimonies of people who were tithing off of their unemployment and as a result of their faithfulness god has blessed them and caused them to increase and god wants to do the same thing for you and i but as we said before if you're watching and observing and looking for perfect conditions you will be stopped in doing what god has commanded you in his word can you say amen to that all right open your bibles i want you to look at deuteronomy chapter eight deuteronomy chapter eight i know that there are some people that when it comes when you talk about giving the laws of of sowing and reaping some people say well the church is all about money and i personally know over 40 years plus more that that is not the case i think that the enemy has people think that because they want to discredit the work of god and men and women of god and sometimes the enemy has a way of magnifying people who have not been faithful leaders and as a result of that it has tainted people's perspective of giving and receiving i encourage people this if you cannot follow a leader that is trustworthy or if you have a leader who's not trustworthy you shouldn't be following them number one and you shouldn't be giving towards it number two if you can't trust them then you shouldn't follow them and if you can't trust them you shouldn't be sowing into that ministry when you find a leader that is trustworthy and they need to prove themselves trustworthy by how they feed you by how they conduct themselves and by how they live i believe that god not only wants leaders blessed but he wants the people blessed can you say amen to that i have had people say to me well i don't believe in that giving stuff i said well don't give one of the things you'll never find here at seas of greatness this ministry forcing people to give in fact i tell people if you have a problem giving then hold on to what you have but when people do give and get blessed don't be critical of what you don't participate in and so i want to share some things with you today that will be foundational truths that you can put in your spirit to start preparing yourself for the change that's happening that is coming so that you can have a foundation of faith that in the midst of famine when things begin to change you are standing solid on god's word and these things don't move you can you say amen to this number one thing you need to establish in your heart as a child of god is that god wants me blessed god wants me blessed say that god wants me blessed come on talk to me your god wants me bless now bless is a broad word bless is a broad word it doesn't just mean financial prosperity but it means healing it means soundness of mind can you say amen to that it means healthy relationships sometimes when people hear the word prosperity they single they they focus on just one single word which means money to most people when i talk about prosperity i'm talking about a broad spectrum of health financial prosperity healthy relationships healthy singleness healthy marriage wisdom for your future i'm talking about a broader breast when we talk about prosperity now of course finances is included and we'll probably focus a lot on finances because the challenge for the people of god and for the church is for their needs to be met and you're going to need finances in this world system in order for your needs to be met and i want you to have faith for your finances to believe god in the midst of famine or in times of difficulty or with job downsizing that god will provide for you and meet your need because you have a covenant with him can you say amen to that but first we have to establish is it the will of god for me to be prosperous is it the will of god for me to be prosperous and in a lot of churches sometimes people have taken of a vow of poverty to show humility but you can't find that in the scripture is it the will of god for me to be prosperous i know a lot of times people are very critical when you talk about prosperity when you talk about finances when you talk about increase people have labeled ministers as prosperity preachers and my thing is this would you rather than be a prosperity preacher or a poverty preacher what do you want them to be there's nothing wrong with being what they the world calls a prosperity preacher what does that mean prosperity means a whole lot of different things so we want to look in the word of god and see is it the will of god for us to prosper not just the preacher but is it the will of god for you to prosper that's my question i asked you is it the will of god for you to prosper i need to hear you this morning i said is it the will of god for you to prosper okay because if you don't think that then then it's going to be a hard time for you but look what it says here in deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 18. deuteronomy because this scripture tells us two things it tells us the will of god and it tells us the purpose of prosperity it tells us the will of god and it tells us the purpose of prosperity now notice what it says but thou shalt remember the lord thy god and this is god talking to his people when i bring you into your wealthy place when i bring you to this place of blessing he says but thou shalt remember the lord god thy god for it is who come on talk to me for it is who for it is he who gives you the power to get what it's if god is against prosperity then why would he give you the power to get it it says for it is he who gives you the power to get wealth what is the purpose of him giving you wealth he tells us that he might establish his covenant which he have sworn unto our fathers as of this day so the purpose it's god's will for you to prosper to have wealth but the purpose of it is to establish his covenant in the earth and these are foundational truths but you need to get a hold of this when people question you why do you want to be prosperous or is it the will of god for you to be prosperous i want to be so blessed so that we can establish the kingdom of god in the earth people's lives get turned around i'd love to open up a school i'd love to have enough wealth to open up a hospital that people can come and get their needs met i'd love to be able to buy a store and employ people so people can have jobs that's why i want the wealth of god in seeds of greatness so that we can be a greater blessing to our community we could have never tested 14 000 people if we didn't have this acreage of land that god blessed us with so that the cars could come and get the testing that they need if god hadn't blessed us with the property we couldn't have done it at 190 but god increased us so that we can accommodate the community are you hearing what i'm saying to you he said he he's given us the power to get wealth so that he could establish his covenant in the earth i tell you when i read this scripture i start to dream i start to dream of what i could do if i had the finances of bill gates i start to dream of what we could do how we could change nations i mean even as a church we're we're sowing into africa we're sowing into wilmington we're doing things with the resources that we have to be a blessing we couldn't do that we were broke we couldn't do that if we didn't have any finances so god has has has blessed us and i believe that he is going to increase us more and more because as it comes in the door it's going back out the door to be a blessing in the communities to establish his covenant in the earth god has given us the power to get wealth the purpose is to establish his covenant in the earth look at isaiah chapter 48 isaiah chapter 48. glory to god this is just the beginning the foundation we want to lay isaiah chapter 48 verses 17 and 18 and even though you know these scriptures it's very important that you be reminded of them so that the enemy doesn't steal from you what god has in store for you it's so he doesn't steal from you what god has in store for you isaiah chapter 48 verses 17 and 18. this is god once again thus saith the lord thy redeemer the holy one of israel i am the lord thy god now get this which teacheth thee to what he teaches you to profit now it says before he gave us the power to get wealth now he's going to teach us how to profit it sounds like to me that the will of god is for his people to have increase and you've got to establish that down on the inside of your heart that when blessings come into your life when increase comes into your life don't allow pride and false humility to cause you to say i can't receive that i don't i can't take that no you say thank you in jesus name and receive what's been placed in your hands can you say amen to this notice what he says i am the lord thy god which teacheth thee the prophet which leadeth thee by the way that thou should go oh that thou had hearkened to my commandment then had thy peace be as a river and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea so there's two things here i'm going to ask you are you teachable and are you willing to be led are you teachable and are you willing to be led because he says i teach you how to profit and then i'll lead you in the way you should go so that that plays a major part of of you uh uh profiting is how you're being led are you following me listen to what the amplified bible says in these two verses man i got excited when i read this in the amplified listen to what it says in the amplified it says thus saith the lord your redeemer the holy one of israel i am the lord your god who teaches you to profit who leads you in the way that you should go oh that you had hearkened to my commandment get this then your peace and prosperity would have been like a flowing river are you seeing this he's saying that if you and i would follow his commandment he said that our peace and our prosperity would flow like a river you know what a river does it flows continually and god is saying that if we would allow him to teach us and allow him to direct us and follow his commandments he's saying that our peace and our prosperity would flow like a river so the question i asked you again are you teachable are you willing to be led and are you willing to walk in his commandment and the greatest commandment we know is the commandment of love and i'm here to tell you that one of the ways that the lord teaches us is when we congregate together and we're listening to a man or a woman of god teach the word of god understand that they stand as god's oracle and god's mouthpiece and god is teaching you and if you're willing to follow the instructions being led god will cause you to walk in a place of peace and prosperity will flow in your life like a river this happened with abraham abraham was blessed and extremely wealthy because he was teachable and he was willing to be led what do you mean god told abraham in genesis 12 1 he said leave he said leave your family abraham leave your kindred leave everything that's familiar with you do you understand that some people are not walking in a level of prosperity it's because they're not willing to leave some things god told abraham he said i want you to leave your relatives i want you to leave your father's house i want you to leave your family and i want you to leave your friends he was willing to be led and because abraham was willing to be led he had to leave some things do you understand your connections can impact your prosperity the people you run with the people you hang with can impact god's increase on your life god had to move abraham from where he was to get abraham to where he wanted him to be and notice the bible says abraham left he was obedient to leave are you willing to be led by the spirit and walk away from some people walk away from some things that the spirit of god is telling you to do and as a result of that abraham was blessed the other thing the bible says you can write this down in genesis 18 19 god said i know abraham he will command his children after him what do you mean he was going to teach his children god's ways and as a result of abraham teaching his children abraham's sons were blessed after him because abraham taught isaac and isaac taught jacob and they taught their children and jacob taught his sons are you willing to teach your children the principles of giving the principles of sowing and reaping or are you going to become their permanent source we've got to teach them at a young age that god is a rewarder to the giver god will honor the giver we've taught our children at a young age to be tithers and now they live that principle themselves and they know how to use that principle to get things that they believe in god for and we have to teach our children that god is their source and we are just channels as parents god never wanted us to take on the role of being the source for our children we are only the channel if you are the source for your children then you have limited their capacity to receive more you limited them the bible goes on to say that because of that abraham was very wealthy in fact the bible's one translation says abraham abraham what turned with me to genesis 12. genesis 12. i've been quoting a lot of scripture because i haven't written down but i want you to see it in your bible genesis 12. i don't want you to forget the scripture we said here how important it is he says i will teach you how to profit and lead you in the way that you should go god wants to increase you say it god wants to increase me come on say it strong god wants to increase me genesis 12 1 i'm going to be reading out of the new living translation i mean the nlt and uh i want you to follow me beginning at verse 1. then the lord had said to abraham leave your native country your relatives and your father's family and go to the land i will show you verse two i will make you a great nation now here's the thing i want you to see i will bless you and make you famous you know there's so many people out there trying to be famous i tell you what man social media has given people platform to be the next star search or whatever right everybody wants to be famous but nobody wants to follow god i'm telling you one of the ways to be famous follow god he says here he says listen i will bless you and make you famous and you will be a blessing to others that's what it's all about man blessings are not designed for you to be a hoarder blessings are on your life so that you can be a blessing to other people can you say amen to that he says i will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt all of the families of the earth will be blessed through you and as a result of abraham's obedience the bible says that abraham was a very wealthy man because number one he was willing to leave and he was willing to follow god's instructions can you say amen to this look with me if you will and we'll close with this psalm 66 12. psalm 66 12. psalm 66 12 praise his name thank you father psalm 66 12 i'm find that in a new living translation also king james in a new living translation 66 12. all right just one verse i want to read with you i'm gonna read it in the king james and then the new living translation all right 66 12 it says thou has caused men to ride over over our heads we went through the fire and through the water but thou has brought us out into a wealthy place why would god bring them to a wealthy place if wealth was against the will of god it's the will of god for you not only to be healthy but it's the will of god for you to be held wealthy say it it's the will of god for me to be healthy it's the will of god for me to be wealthy it says god who who brought them who brought them it says but thou brought us out into a wealthy place i want you to see they went through some stuff they went through the fire of persecution and they went through the flood of people trying to overwhelm them but god brought them into a wealthy place the new living translation says this then you put a leader over us we went through the fire and the flood but you brought us to a place of great abundance i want to close with this thought and i want you to think about this the remainder of the week and we're going to pick up and build on these things are you in your wealthy place i said are you in your wealthy place what does that look like are you in a place of abundance because if you're in a place of abundance if you're in a wealthy place if you're in a place of increase or abundance then don't leave there as soon as i said don't leave there naomi came to my mind the book of ruth naomi came to my mind because see there was a famine in bethlehem and the bible says that amalek and naomi and her two sons left bethlehem which is called the place of bread and they went to moab 55 miles away and things happen over a 10-year period and and naomi said this when she went back from moab to bethlehem i left bethlehem full and i came back home empty and i was puzzled when she made that statement at the end of chapter one is because if you were full here then why did you leave and do you know people do that in church all the time they come to a church that prays for the healing and they get healed they come to a church that agrees with them for increase and god increases them and god has increased them and healed them and they leave why leave bethlehem if you're full and what naomi did is she blamed it all on god because the bible says when she came back to bethlehem she came back to bethlehem with just the clothes on her back it's interesting to me look what it says again you you put leaders over us we went through the fire and the flood see you're going to go through some things because you're in church doesn't mean you're not going to go through some things you're going to go through some challenges they're going to be people in the church that put fire on you they're going to be people in the church that try to drown you with their problems but notice what it goes on to say here we went through i said we went through the fire we went through the flood there's some things you won't avoid if you don't camp there it says we went through the fire we went through the flood we didn't stay there we didn't settle there see what what naomi and amalek did they went to moab and the bible says they settled there and it's sad thing when we have people of god settling in places that they should not be you need to get up and start walking back to the place where your blessing was go back to the place where your blessing was and this is what naomi did and as a result there were some kingdom connections we're going to talk about that but i want you to see that they went through the fire they went through the flood but thou has brought us into a place of abundance my question to you is are you in your place of abundance where are you living right now where are you living right now and and i want you to find yourself because i'm going to ask you three places to see where you're living now god has a wealthy place for you but i have three lands that you can live in are you living in the land of not enough are you living in the land of not enough are you living in the land of life you don't have enough to pay this you don't have enough to do this you don't have enough to do that you're are you living in the land of not enough and you've got to do your own personal assessment to see where you are because god has a wealthy place for you god has a place of abundance for you as a child of god we found out that it is his will for you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers that it is his will for you to profit it is his will to teach you how to profit that's god's will for you but where are you living are you living in that place of abundance are you living in that place of not enough you never have enough you don't have enough to eat you don't have enough to make car payment you don't have enough to do anything that you enjoy you're in a place of not enough or number two are you living in the land of just enough just enough you've got just enough mana for today you got just enough to hold you until your next paycheck you've got just enough you're going from paycheck to paycheck you're in that land of just enough just enough you're just barely getting by you just just got enough i just got enough for me and mine i don't have nothing nobody else you can't come over here cause we got enough food for you just enough where are you at you've got to locate where you are if you're going to start working on moving from where you are are you in the land of not enough are you in the land number two of just enough or number three are you in the land of more than enough because you're in one of them and we were in a place of just enough just enough are you in the land of more than enough how do i get to that place of more than enough i want to give you one scripture and i'll be done did i say that already one scripture then i'll be done well i've got another scripture i got one more scripture everyday we'll be done second corinthians nine second corinthians nine and this is how you get to that land of more than enough there are people that are trying to figure out how do i get out of this place of never having enough i i never seem to have enough i don't have enough to tithe i don't have enough to give an offering well how do you get out of that place the bible tells us how to get out of that place and i'm telling you i'm just i'm teaching you how the prophet okay okay second corinthians chapter nine second corinthians chapter nine second corinthians i'm in first corinthians that's why i'm not seeing it second corinthians chapter nine all right let's start at verse uh seven and eight seven and eight how do i get out of that place of not enough how do i get out of that land of just enough how do i get into that land of living with more than enough and child of god is really outlined in god's word you've got to be disciplined enough to walk out the principle on a daily basis you can't look at what you have in your hand and determine whether or not you're going to sew you have to make a decision in your heart use your faith and god will cause things to happen i remember when things were tight i was working on a job making 53 dollars a week when lisa and i got made got married got made right i was making 53 dollars a week when we got married and i was getting paid every week at working for acme and it was not enough not enough we didn't have any children but i it was not enough so the thing is i had was some side hustles i would wish and detail cars i would wash and detail cars and my check we tied off of that 53 dollars and the rest of it went towards the bills at that time lisa was making more money than me and we didn't argue about who was making the most money we just need to get some stuff done she got money good i don't care how much it was it wasn't a competition it was a partnership and still is but i would do some things on the side i would do yard work i would the thing i enjoy is washing and detailing cars and that's what i would do on the side i would get off at seven o'clock in the morning and i would do two or three cars that day and have some money to be able to do some things that's how i had to do i had to sacrifice had to sacrifice i had to do some other things i knew what i could do and enjoy and so that's what i did and sometimes you have to do some extra things sometimes i remember there was a young lady we knew who wanted her daughter to go to college without college debt you remember that and her mother could cook real well she would cook some soul food and every sunday she would make enough she would take orders throughout the week doing soul food dinners was able to put her daughter through college without college without college debt from cooking dinners on sunday and selling them church book you've got to be creative just like the woman who had the widow you remember what she did didn't you she had a bacon business this woman had a bacon business for the prophet she said i'm just gonna make a couple cakes she didn't say donuts she said cakes man she had a baking ministry and as a result of that she was able to start a business and save her entire family you'd be surprised what you could do that you overlook that could save your family this woman baked something for the prophet for the man of god she honored god through the individual and god blessed her house as a result of it are you hearing what i'm saying to you all right look what it says here and i'll close with this it says in verse seven every man according as he purposes in his heart so that means you need to make a decision before you come to church you need to make a decision because if you make a decision purpose in your heart before you come to church then you're not susceptible to deception arm twisting and sad stories that people play on your emotions it says purpose in your heart so let him sow so let him sow because giving is sowing so let him give let him sow now notice he goes from giving to your attitude he goes from giving to your attitude so your attitude is connected to your giving and this is why i tell people when people try to argue i one of the things you won't find me doing is arguing over what the bible says i'll say listen if that's what you believe that's fine but this is what i believe you never argue over the scripture you just let the fruit of the scripture produce itself in your life and you'll see the difference between fruitfulness and barrenness all right but notice he connects your attitude to your giving he said not grudgingly or of necessity that means pressure for god loves a cheerful giver now i'm talking to you about how to get out of the place of not enough or just that i'm talking to you about how to get now into your wealthy place and notice what he says for god he talks about giving in verse seven for he says here to the person who's a giver from the heart god is able to make all grace abound towards you that you always having say always having that means you're always going to have something always having all sufficiency in everything may abound onto every good work and that's all a result of purposeful heart giving purposeful heart giving purposeful heart giving listen to what the nlt says in verse 8. you will always i'm going to read the nlt the message and the passion translation and then i will be done all right i'm reading the lateral part of all sufficiency and all things look what he says here in in the uh the nlt it says god will generously provide all you need that you will always will always have always have always have when you operate on this scripture based off of verse 7 you will always have your broke days will be over your lean days will be over your days of lack will be over but it's based on your purposeful heart giving of verse 7. that you will always have everything you need you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others doesn't that sound like what god said to abraham in genesis 12 2 i will bless you and make you a blessing to others this is the blessing that is on the children of abraham we're the seed of abraham god is wanting to do for you and i the very same thing that he did for abraham in genesis 12 2. he says then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others listen to what the message bible says the message translation he throws caution to the wind giving to the needy and reckless abandoned his right living now this is you don't miss this brothers and sisters his right living and right giving see a lot of times people want to give right but live wrong and it doesn't work like that right giving has to align itself with right living his right living and right giving ways never run out never wear out this most generous god who gives okay okay this generous god who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meal is more than extravagant with you the passion translation says god is more than ready god is more than ready god is more than ready to overwhelm you god is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace when i read that this morning in my study it opened my eyes to something there's different forms of grace there's healing grace there's prosperity grace are you hearing me there's wisdom grace he said god will overwhelm you do you know what the word overwhelm means it means buried this is why you and i should never say i just feel so overwhelmed i just feel so overwhelmed you're saying you're buried god wants to overwhelm you with good things there's a big difference god is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace get this so that you will have more than enough of everything doesn't that sound like el shaddai the god who is more than enough he says here god that grace so that you will have more than enough of everything but it starts with verse 7 when you give with a cheerful heart see your attitude and giving determine so much man this is why when people come with a bad attitude and say well he always asked about money i said well let's just keep it keep it because you won't find any beggars here trust me we only want those whose hearts are full of gratitude so that you will have more than enough of everything every moment and every day brothers and sisters i sure hope you don't let that scripture go over your head he says you will have more than enough of everything every moment and every way everything every moment and every way that sounds like more than enough how do you get there it starts with your giving it starts with purposeful heart giving with the right attitude i want to encourage you that as you go throughout this week look for opportunities to be a giver we want to create and i believe by the grace of god that he's helping us to create a culture of giving here at seeds of greatness seeds of greatness i've got to commend you guys for your faithful giving you guys have outdone yourselves with giving and i want to encourage you with the same grace that you've done that to continue that god will cause other forms of grace to come upon you and he'll cause you to leave that scripture up on the screen because i need to see that myself it says so that you'll have more than enough of everything every moment and every way that's what we believe for you as members as partners of seeds of greatness you'll have more than enough of everything at every moment there is no surprises there are no accidents that will show up there are no bills that will come in the mail there are no things that will break down that will overwhelm you because at every moment you'll have more than enough that's man that's so powerful that you know have you ever had something show up and say we don't have money for that he says here every moment you'll have more than enough whatever shows up you need to declare out of your mouth i serve the god of more than enough come on say it i serve the god of more than enough every moment every way he's the god of more than enough every moment every way he's the god of more than enough thank you father father in the name of jesus i thank you for my brothers and sisters i agree with them that they are moving from the place of not enough i agree with them that they are moving from the place of just enough father i agree with them that they are moving into the land of more than enough that they will have all sufficiency in all things that father in jesus name they will always have everything they need and plenty left over to share with others god may your grace so overwhelm them in every form that they will have more than enough of everything every moment and every way i come against leanness i come against lack and father i ask you in jesus name to turn the tables for them shift things for them turn things around for them and father i thank and praise you may they look in their house and see what they have and father may you use it may you bring value to it and meet needs that they didn't even know they had the resources to cover encourage the heart that has been discouraged and hurt father those that are challenged financially give seed to the sower may they not eat their seed but may they sow their seed as you lead and direct them father i thank you for the principle of sowing and reaping i thank you for the principle of ties and offering and father as we teach on these things i asked you to bring your people into a wealthy place so that at every moment in every way they will overflow with abundance i break the back of lack in the lives of your people and father i thank and praise you for fresh wind blowing into their finances god calls what is empty to be full calls what is empty to be full and father i thank you may we all put in the discipline and the sacrifice of not doing our will but your will father not doing things our way but your way as we acknowledge you in all of our ways order and direct our steps teach us how to profit show us the way to go may we be led by the spirit of god and everything that we say and do and may we command our finances and be good stewards over what you have placed in our hands father you have a plan for our increase may we align ourselves may we not be in wishful thinking but may we walk out the principles by faith thank you for the principle of sowing and reaping may it not just be with our finances but may it be with our words may it be with our behavior may we sow kindness and reap kindness may we sow words of refreshing to reap words of refreshing may we sow patience to reap patience back and may we not worry but may we worship you for the great things that you've done we will remember where you brought us from and we will remember that it is you who gives us the power to get wealth god show us what you have equipped us with to obtain wealth we thank you for wealth transfer into the lives of your obedient stewards and father may we flourish like the cedar of lebanon may we bring forth fruit in old age god we honor you today so much because we can look back and judge you faithful you have proven yourself time and time again that you are a good father that you care for us you provide for us and you even carry us through the fire and through the flood and you bring us into a wealthy place in jesus name father i pray and declare the 91st psalm over your people that because they dwell in the secret place of the most high god they are protected on the left and on the right from bumper to bumper door to door goodness and mercy follows them all the days of their life and you lead us in the path of righteousness for your name's sake we thank you for your angels that encamp around about us and we thank you for the right arm of the lord giving us the victory thank you for being a good shepherd leads us beside the still water and you feed our soul and our soul is renewed we give you praise and glory and father teach us this week teach us how to profit teach us how to increase teach us how to get good seed in the ground and lay hold of a good harvest i thank you that our best days and our blessed days are reachable as we stay teachable and father we'll reach them and we'll teach our children and father we will create a legacy of blessing like abraham in jesus name amen thank you thank you for tuning in today thank you for your time thank you for your seed that you've sown into this ministry and we agree with you for increase that at every moment every time and everywhere the blessing of god is on you the purpose of god is on you
