this is the lock picking lawyer and the duct tape covered monstrosity i have for you today is a package from carter in delaware i can't show you the note he included because it has some personal information but i'll read you the relevant part quote i've enclosed a bottle of loggable and scotch as a thanks for your great content and a throwback to the first video of yours that i watched opening a hotel safe with lagavulin inside i tried to find a way to secure it and settled on a puzzle lock since it's easy to open once you figure it out it would be better if you opened the package on camera and showed us the puzzle solving process okay in keeping with carter's wish we will open this on camera and i'll try not to embarrass myself too much if it does end up taking too long though i will speed up the video so let's open this up and get to puzzle solving let's get some scissors that might be an easier way to open this this is not opening easily [Applause] okay i do see a light at the end of the tunnel there is some lag of one in here and i see the puzzle has some rope so i'm being careful not to cut anything i don't intend to [Applause] okay that was a mess but here is our puzzle okay i actually really like puzzles like this because there's only a finite number of things that we can do so we can see that this ball will not fit through the hole this piece will fit through the hole this little piece will fit through the hole this square will not fit through this hole but it will fit through here and i think we can also put this around the other side so if my count is right that is four possible moves that you can do in various directions and permutations so i can see that the first move almost certainly has to be putting this through here and i say that because once i shove this through putting it through will only make it harder so we've essentially made that move impossible once we put either this or this through the hole i hope that made sense so let's put this through then since we can't put this through this small ball through by itself we can push this through and the small ball goes through with it that is three of the four moves that are possible the last was this oh okay there we go and here we have our lagavulin 16 one of my absolute favorite scotches okay folks that wasn't too bad and i am now ready to savor my reward carter thank you very much for this fine package to everyone else know that lagavulin is always welcome in my p.o box but that's all i have for you today if you do have any questions or comments about this please put them below if you like this video and would like to see more like it please subscribe and as always have a nice day thank you
