light 2024 version bam we're thrown right away into the action with the hungry crew of The Dutch ship arriving in Japan is intense and grabs your attention from the get-go 1980 version assumes you know Japanese history in a way living to figure out the power struggles between the Regens and the Tao air on your own as you watch the different parts the 2024 version breaks it down for you with a focusing on his interactions with MAO and his growing understanding of Japanese culture with soraga order ing Yushi to relocate black Thor hinting at a hitting strategy behind the move the black Chip departure is a background event with the focus remaining on Black Thorn and his experiences in Japan the episode introduced a subplot with Fiera def find the Jesu and plotting to sell we Tag's for Medico but it's discussed and the focus is on black Thor's grief and his desire to escape 1980 series Black Thorne gets injured in the explosion and is blinded well he sees but he's injured into his eyes in the 2024 version we do see how black Thorne gets injured but it's not like the original turn's plan to become Shogun is not fully explained but is hinted through his actions and conversation ation in the 20124 version taga Reveals His entire plan to yigi before he's dead explaining how he manipulated events and use people like black Thorne and Mico to achieve his goals now something that I love that is different in this episode episode 10 to the 1980 is a 2024 version includes a dream sequence where an older black dor reflects on his life in Japan in this version Fuji choose to become a nun after fulfilling her duty to tanaga and my favorite from the 1980 is how we see tanaga with his army celebrating his victory after the battle of sigi gahara here is doesn't happen at all and we actually see how black d is in front of the water black d in the distance in the 1980s version black turn is going to build his ship but turna is not there it's those Stranges
