- These are the top 10
things you should be buying at Dollar Tree in April. Welcome back to the channel, I'm the YouTube Deal Guy Matt Granite. I'm excited to have you here because I'm gonna take you
inside my local Dollar Tree and expose some awesome finds. From pool and beach toys at $1, to barbecue tools and brushes for a buck, plus some of the best margarita cups and beer mugs I have ever

garage sale, a yard sale, or a rummage sale, Dollar Tree has got a pretty
good way to help you prepare. Take a look at these new price
stickers that I have found. I'm calling them price
stickers and not price tags because they actually have an adhesive. And in your planning stage, I realize that we could all be crafty and make these on our own but think about what your time is worth plus all of the work that goes into a garage sale or a yard sale. There are ways that you can
label everything ahead of time, even make offer stickers if you do need to apply these to products where you are not quite sure
how something should be priced. In the number two spot of what you should be buying
at the Dollar Tree in April and then I'm gonna get
to some barbecue items. If you are celebrating
a graduate in your life and I'm gonna get to moms
and mother's day in a moment. The graduation decorations are phenomenal at Dollar Tree this year. We're seeing signs, and cups,
hats, some great wearables. And as someone who's actually purchased graduation memorabilia
from the Dollar Tree, I'm reminded of how I tried
to decorate for my wife when she graduated. Guys, I know she looks very young, not high school graduation
but graduate school. When she graduated from law school, I tried to decorate the house and this is what I was able to do. And now I'm looking at all of these other decoration options on the market this year at Dollar Tree and they are substantially better. So definitely in the
number two spot on my list, anything for that grad in your life. In the number three spot. 'Tis the season of grilling, and tailgating, and awesome barbecue. And the barbecue tool options
available at Dollar Tree this year also better than last year. Their barbecue brushes and utensils and in particular this barbecue
brush cleaner that I found, comparable to what I would
have been able to find at my local hardware store, just at a fraction of the price. One thing to keep in mind, since I haven't had a chance to test these Dollar Tree barbecue brush cleaners from one season to the next,
keep an eye on the bristles. If you are scraping
them against your grill just see if they do come off over time. And if you've already purchased
one and for whatever reason, use it a bit more than I have,
please leave me a comment. I'll read through them and that'll only help me
improve my next video. In the number four spot. The spring decor items are
phenomenal buy at Dollar Tree. And if you guys wait toward
the end of the video, in the bonus section I will also include some summer decor items. Because one of the interesting things about Dollar Tree as a
retailer is they roll out all of their spring and
summer items simultaneously. So I'm gonna hopefully
guide you through that but let's take a look at
the spring decor items that include fun little decor
items for around the home. I found some mirrors that actually rival the quality of target and of course at a substantially
lower price just a dollar and I've also located some fun trinkets and decor pieces for around your home. Piggy bank boxes which are
great for a travel fund later down the line. And one of the more unique
finds new this season at dollar tree which I'm going
to include in this category, the Air Wick and the generic
air freshener refills. Many of us use those Air Wicks in areas of our home that could use a
little bit of a scent boost. Our basement, sometimes
offices, just areas of the home that need a little bit
of a better refresh. One of the problems
that I've experienced is you really have to commit to a scent. So you have to commit to
a lot of them upfront. One of the nice things
about buying those refills from the Dollar Tree is for just a dollar, you can pick up one individual scent, see if you like it and then maybe buy it as
a bulk purchase on Amazon, or Costco, or Walmart, or wherever it is that you shop elsewhere. In the number five spot. Before I get to sunglasses
and garden decor. If you like a beers or
margaritas, I kid you not. I think what I found for a dollar, this margarita glass could be the best or one of the best that I have
ever seen sold in a store. It's a fully reminiscent of
what you would experience if you were served a margarita
on your favorite patio, at your favorite restaurant,
or even at a hotel, or resort. And if you can see from
the slight durability tests that I am providing for you in store, which is not scientific. And don't worry, I did not
dent any of the glasses and if I did, I would have paid for them. These margarita cups easily
sustained a couple of clunks against the shelf. I'm definitely going to pick these up. And I am certain the
durability that I experienced in store will be what
I enjoy around my home. For those of you craving
the perfect vessel to serve that next ice cold beer. Again, Dollar Tree coming
in loud and strong, not just in terms of
savings but the quality, just phenomenal in terms of what I saw. There were also some fun new
wineglasses at Dollar Tree with all sorts of sayings. These could also double
as an accompaniment to a mother's day gift, or you find the perfect card
which we'll get to in a moment. And the Dollar Tree definitely
has this beverage category covered with huge bargains
and tremendous selection. In the number six spot of
what you should be buying at dollar tree in April, garden decor. And if you are a bird aficionado like my two year old daughter. Just wait, I'm gonna show you some video
of what we did last season and how the Dollar Tree is
gonna help us this season. But from beautiful gardening pots available for just a dollar. All sorts of signs, and
gardening tools, knick-knacks, and some really positive ways
to interject your personality into your backyard, patio, deck area. However you have your backyard set up, the pot hangers presenting
some really nice options, temperature gauges,
even hummingbird nectar and bird feeders. And this is what I
wanted to briefly mention to you before I get to
accessories and sunglasses. I spent all of last season feeding pigeons in the downtown core of
my city with my daughter. It's like her favorite
thing to do in the world on a cold day, you go
out and you feed pigeons. From pigeons we ultimately
upgraded to squirrels. And then finally geese that
were larger than my daughter partaking in some type
of migration pattern. This was what we did. I'm only imagining how much more positive her spring or summer could be if we had a proper bird
feeder on our backyard. So that of course is something
that I am considering from the Dollar Tree. In the number seven spot of what you should be buying
at Dollar Tree in April. All sorts of accessory organizer trays. Now the nice thing about these trays compared to what I have
seen available from stores like Dollar General and Five Below. Dollar Tree this month, seems to specialize in the low high trays. So these are great for the
fridge, for drinks, for fruit, and other food items. Different ways that you can
organize, stack, and serve. So this accessory and
organization section as a whole definitely getting two
big thumbs up from me this month at the Dollar Tree. In the number eight spot. Oh, I bet you didn't even notice. It's me under here, Matt Granite and you are probably impressed
that they do make sunglasses that can accommodate my nose, you knew that joke was coming. Well I cannot speak as an eye
doctor to the effectiveness of their UVA and UVB claims. Simply having a pair
of sunglasses available for a dollar in your glove
compartment, your purse, your junk drawer is better than nothing. I'm constantly losing
sunglasses and breaking them, so just to have a couple
of extra pairs available for a dollar is not going to
necessarily protect your eyes for the rest of your life
but it is an alternative, and that's why I'm putting
it in the number eight spot. In the number nine spot. Meal prep is a very popular
phenomenon right now. A lot of people are using these containers that I found at the Dollar
Tree for just a dollar as ways to cut down on takeout, if you are bringing a
lunch to work or school. They're also great for portion control, not something that I'm
particularly good at. They're great to bring your
lunch and refrigerate it at work or somewhere else. Or if you are taking
care of a sick parent, a neighbor, a senior citizen, these meal prep containers are phenomenal. They are top rack, dishwasher safe, and they are BPA free. Making this one of my
favorite buys for a dollar. In the number 10 spot. Before I get to mother's
day in the bonus section of this video. If you are looking for a pool
toy, some type of floatable, a noodle, a dollar is
all you need to spend, and I am very pleased with what I saw. Again, the inflatables
here are not necessarily gonna be legacy pieces you hand
down from one family member to the next, for generations to come. And obviously you would definitely wanna incorporate adult
supervision with all of these but the noodles, the water toys, and the endless options available
for water entertainment, phenomenal finds available
at the Dollar Tree. Now the bonus section of the video, these are items that
didn't necessarily qualify for my top 10, but I think they're good. And if you guys have any other

I love reading through them. For bonus buy number one. Let's move on to beach decor before I do get to mother's day cause I know I promised that. The beach theme decor is very
unique at the Dollar Tree. If you do not live anywhere
near a proper beach which is definitely
the case for my family. And if you are close to
a beach guys, I envy you. But can now decorate your
whole home with a beach theme. This is definitely more of a summer vibe which is very interesting
to see this pushed so forcefully by Dollar Tree in April. But take it or leave it and I'm sure there are ways
where you could creatively integrate this into your home. Bonus by number two and possibly one of my
favorite items on the list. The reason I've classified
this as a bonus buy, many of you guys already
know that you can stock up on Hallmark-made cards at
Dollar Tree for just $1. Those same Hallmark cards
are nearly identical ones that are jacked up in
price by 50 or 60% more everywhere else are
available at the Dollar Tree. What's new this month is
Dollar Tree is offering the best of their Hallmark
mother's day cards where you can buy two for $1 and this also includes
cards for your grandma. I'm fortunate enough to have
both of my grandmas alive on both sides of the family. So I will certainly be
picking up cards for them, this mother's day as well. Bonus buy number three, is a car windshield visor for a dollar. And the reason I've classified
this as a bonus buy. Having actually handled
this at Dollar Tree, I can tell you it's
quality feels almost like it should be around a dollar. But considering how
expensive car visors can be, and if you do not wanna spend
15, 20, or $30 on a car visor. For just a buck, this might be the perfect
way to block the sun from entering your vehicle, or at least keep it a little bit cooler on the hottest spring and
summer days for just a buck. Bonus buy number four. A drain snake. The perfect way to
remove hairs, and clogs, and things that you didn't
think could possibly be in your drain. I believe at some point last year, I actually demonstrated a nearly identical drain snake product from Dollar
Tree and it did perform well and it was revolting in
terms of what I actually brought up my drain, so
I'm just letting you know. Bonus buy number five. Well, I don't necessarily
back all of the toy offerings I have seen at Dollar Tree just because I don't really know the quality, or how long some of these
toys will last, or the safety. The road trip games
for kids are fantastic. And just a dollar from roadside
bingo to so many other ways to keep the younger members
of your household entertained in the back seat. Or I'm pretty sure that my
wife would actually buy this for me in the front seat, not while I'm driving but
when I am sitting beside her and if you find me annoying
in some of these videos, you can imagine what it would be like on a long road trip with me,
