when you use this word word number one is awesome and again again I can totally relate we use the word awesome when we really like something when we are extremely pleased with something and of course when you're in this emotional state you just can't process what's going on you're like oh my God whoa amazing awesome but yeah it's an overused word and there is nothing wrong with it but it's just like if you're recording a video and you say awesome 10 times in a minute it might sound a little bit weird so there are certainly other ways to stay awesome you can say magnificent this suggests more Elegance like a magnificent dress the art here is magnificent you can say stunning we use this word when something is visually appealing you look you can say spectacular for example the fireworks display was spectacular this view is Spectacular Now the next overused word is amazing amazing means causing surprise or wonder and again we say this word when we are in a happy place this was an something of very high quality the level of service at Four Seasons Hotels is excellent excellent speech outstanding refers to something remarkable or exceptional he gave an outstanding performance his performance was outstanding that's the most outstanding answer I've ever heard by the way this is a good time for me to remind you that certain words in English have several meanings and sometimes we use outstanding in the meaning of unpaid John has a bunch of outstanding parking tickets means he has a lot of parking tickets that he hasn't paid for outstanding you need to pay all of his outstanding bills the next overused word is cool course meaning fashionable or attractive his new car is really cool how can we replace this word we can say trendy he wore those trendy Architects glasses stylish is another great word if we're talking about something that a person is wearing this is a very stylish bag and we can say fashionable listen you are hands down the most fashionable
