i've entered my vehicle with three points of contact this is my seat belt this is not torn afraid it latches and unlatches properly it's mounted with bolts that are not cracked broken or missing in my glove box i have spare fuses in my side compartment i have three red reflective triangles they are not cracked broken or missing and are securely mounted also in my side compartment i have a fire extinguisher it is not crack broken or leaking it is up to date fully charged and properly rated it is secure now i will perform a safe start so i'm depressing the clutch all the way checking for neutral we're turning the key on okay my abs light has came on and off indicating it's working properly i'm checking for neutral my clutch is all the way to the ground and i'm slowly releasing my clutch my oil pressure gauge is slowly rising to normal within three to five seconds my water temperature gauge is rising to normal my volt meter is showing 13.6 this is good because it's between 12 and 15 volts my def tank is no less than 1 8 fluid level remaining my primary and secondary air supply gauges are slowly rising to governor cutout we will be using my primary air supply gauge for my air brake test so now i will give the truck a little gas to get the air governor cut out quicker so okay my air governor has cut out i know this because my needle has stopped rising so my first test will be my applied air leakage test i will put the truck in the low gear and release my trailer and parking brake and wait for my system to stabilize i'm turning on the key so i can read my gauges and i am releasing my trailer and parking brake and waiting for the system to stabilize okay my system has stabilized i'm now going to fully apply my service break and wait for my system to stabilize again okay my system has stabilized i will begin my test now my system is stable at 96 psi i should lose no more than 4 psi in one minute it has been one minute one second i'm still at 96 psi this is a good test for this combination vehicle because i have not lost more than four psi in one minute now i will test my low air pressure warning devices my light and buzzer should activate between 55 and 75 psi so i'm going to fan my brakes until they activate my light and buzzer activated at 62 psi this is a good test because they activated between 55 and 75 psi okay now we will do my spring brake test my spring brakes should activate between 20 and 45 psi my trailer break should activate first followed by my parking brake but if they activate at the same time that's okay so now i will fan my brakes until my spring brakes activate both of my spring breaks activated at 30 psi this is a good test because they activated between 20 and 45 psi now we will perform another safe start i'm depressing the clutch all the way checking for neutral and double checking my brakes are set while i'm waiting for governor cut out i will finish my in-cab inspection my heater and defroster are working properly my four-way flasher indicators are working properly my left turn signal and right turn signal indicators are working properly my headlights are working and my high beam indicator is working properly my windshield wipers are functioning and fluid is coming out of both sides evenly my windshield wiper arm is not cracked broken or missing it is not bent it is secured with bolts that are not cracked broken or missing my windshield wiper blades are not crack broken or missing and the rubber is not dry rotted they are secured my windshield is not crack broken or missing there are no rock chips or illegal stickers it's secured with a gasket that is not cracked broken or leaking and not dry rotted all of my mirrors are adjusted to me they are not crack broken or missing and there are no illegal stickers all of my mirror brackets are not crack broken or missing and they're mounted with bolts that are not cracked broken or missing my electric horn is working and my air horn is working now we're just waiting for governor cut out so i'm going to give it a little bit of gas to get the governor cut out quicker okay my air governor has cut out i know this because my needle has stopped rising now we will test my service brakes so i'm going to put the truck in the low gear and pull forward in a straight line my truck should stop in a straight line and my steering wheel should not pull to the left or the right my service brakes are working properly my truck stopped in a straight line and my steering wheel did not pull to the left or the right now i will test my trailer and parking brake so i'm going to apply my trailer brake and perform a tug test my tr my trailer brakes should hold my trailer brakes are working properly now we will test my parking brake i'm going to apply my parking brake and release my trailer brake i'm going to pull forward again and my parking brake should hold my parking brake held checking for neutral that concludes my in-cab and air brake inspection and for their instruction
