thank you lord for our time together thank you lord that we can look into the word of god we ask you lord to touch our hearts and our lives today by your word in jesus name we pray amen god bless you you may be seated and today i am going to pick back up where i left off a month ago that is teaching the book of revelation and uh we have just gotten through chapter six or almost through chapter six i'll go back and touch base again with revelations chapter six and uh we're all trying to survive i look around and see different faces and i see a mask on and sometimes i don't quite i looked at eddie and i said is that it you know with that mask on and i got a mask here some of you got black masks colored mascaras you got white i've got them like these folks have gotten those light blue and i got a dark blue in here somebody gave me the other day and i looked inside here and it said made in china i said okay the virus was made in china or it was came from china and so the they got the mass for it from china amen it's a lot of funny things we can laugh about and talk about and everything before i get into our scriptures here in revelation and this is getting back to where we were i realized that some of our services we have not been able to be here and july last week as you know it was on the screen overhead here and i had made the tape made a cut of tape a couple days earlier for that for you for last sunday service and it was about prayer and before that it was a while back here we talked about father's day and different things so it's been a month since i have talked to you about the book of revelation before i get into that let me just read uh something to you this is what is called the kiplinger letter let me focus this the focus it's called the kipling letter it comes out of washington d.c and i mentioned mentioned a lot of times it's a it's a forecast for things for executives and investors and so forth and uh so i want to read this to you it says dear client a severe global recession is unfolding it'll be worse than the great recession which at the time was the most painful downturn that the world had experienced in many decades now this is not a religious paper here this is strictly uh business and so forth comes out of dc for those reasons it says this recession won't be like the last one countries are in trouble the big developed nations face steep drops in europe france italy and spain are in for deep downturns japan will have a wretching recession worse than in the u.s this is what they are predicting the recovery process figures to be gradual and uneven also don't overlook the possibility of a second large wave of infections later this year it's all a bad report but i'm just reading here what they're predicting and they predict what they feel like what they put together from all kinds of information that they glean and what they come up with it's a bad one this is the the possibility of a another wave of infections a bad one would put the thawing global economy back into deep freeze global trade in goods would decline by as much as 20 even more than during the great recession i think the great recession they're referring to is what we call the depression great depression back in the 30s starting 29 and i want you to turn in your bibles if you will with me here to uh revelations chapter uh hear me all right i feel like i'm cutting in and out all right can you hear me now okay i don't know okay if it gets some key cutting out sister barbara give me a signal okay thank you for that book that you gave me for my birthday i appreciate that god bless you and all of you who gave us gifts and cards and all kinds of things some of our cash gifts some checks all that thank you so much some of you just sent us beautiful cards with beautiful sayings and letters and notes and i appreciate every one of them god bless you for it thank you so much now i'm looking here in revelations chapter six i want to remind you here that we've covered this in in lesson four and lesson four was what we taught on uh in june 14th and i just want to remind you here that we've already looked at some of these things let me just have you review very quickly here revelations chapter 6 and in chapter 1 it talks about the seven seals being broken this is the the book with the seven seals that jesus took out the right hand of him who sat on the throne and so forth jesus christ being as the lamb of god the manifestation of god as the savior and as the sacrifice receiving the judgment from the almighty god as as almighty god as creator of all things now let me move on here in this chapter six he he talks about horses and he said there was a white horse verse two there was a red horse in verse four he talks about a black horse in verse five and he talks about a pale horse in verse eight these are called the four horses of the apocalypse and it's pretty well known throughout all uh christian that christendom is as a whole especially bible scholars that these are these horses here are symbolic of events that begin to take place on the earth after the rapture has taken place all right and so the white horse here represents a false peace that will go forth it says here i saw verse 2 and i saw and behold a white horse and he that sat on him had a bow and a crown it was given unto him he went forth concrete but there's no arrows there a bow which means that it was a false peace and of course this lines up with certain scriptures in the bible for instance this one found over this first thessalonians 5 3 for when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with a child and they shall not escape so it lets us know here that these judgments are coming on the earth and that this false peace will happen immediately after the rapture after the rapture takes place there's going to be a peace and harmony and everything's going to be okay on this earth everything looked great and people who missed it felt like it was the end of the world they're going to say oh okay let me just say this if the rapture when the rapture takes place this church and every church in america and probably around the world is going to be full of people trying to find god trying to pray through trying to seek the lord i'm not trying to scare anybody i'm just telling you what the word of god is and you know me i stay i stay strictly with the word and so the word of god is teaching us here there's a false peace is going to come on the earth but immediately after that look at verse 4 and there went forth another horse that was red and it goes on to say and power was given unto him thereof to take peace from the earth and that they should kill one another and that was given unto him a great sword a sword always represents war and this was a great sword there's going to be a great war that will follow shortly after the tribulation period begins or after the rapture takes place and uh let me just say this to all of us folks this world is poised for a great war honestly you've got to know that just because we've seen peace and prosperity and we've seen peace among nations it doesn't mean they don't have an arsenal of very severe weapons in in the stockpile they even believe they being reports that i hear and you probably heard saying some of the same things and you don't know how many of them are really true or how many aren't but there are people who swear by them that are in the know of it and they say that the virus that we're experiencing was actually uh is a hybrid of other viruses it's like what they call microengineering in which they they change the nature and so forth the hybrid that was done in china in trying to develop uh a some kind of of a of a bio biological psychological or whatever weapon that they could use in this fashion so i don't know how true all that stuff is but i know that that's a i do know this that the u.s government russia and i'm sure china has the same thing has a mass of chemicals for chemical warfare if they ever had to use it they don't plan to use it they have a geneva conference saying never use it but they've got it just in case the other side ever starts it and they got the biological warfare as well germ warfare they go we got the germ warfare this is part of that germ warfare that they was developing in china so i have heard i don't know so i'm just trying to tell you here that this world is poised for a great war but thankfulness thank god we have not had that problem here in our lifetime and i thank god for that praise god now i'm going to move on here very quickly because in the eighth verse and the brother in the seventh verse talks about the fourth seal and uh it also says something in the i'm going to read the verse five verse five when he had opened the third seal i heard the third beast say come and see and oh there was a black horse and a pair of balances in his hand a pair of balances represents that there is a famine in the land the food is not there and uh that it's going to be a very serious situation and so the famine comes so there's false peace there's a great war that's faulted then there's a famine that will follow i'm telling you what is going to be following the rapture in the tribulation period now jesus said when you see all these signs that beginning to come to pass beginning to come to pass then look up for our redemption dorth nigh your redemption dwarf now he was said he's jesus spoke this is your redemption north night so i'm just trying to tell you here today that this is an ancient time that we need to be mindful the coming of the lord is near also also we need to be mindful that in the 11th hour there is a harvest that will go forth the lord is going to save a lot of people and reach out to a lot of people and use his might and he wants to use the church so in these last days the twofold thing one is the coming of the lord and the world shaping up for it we know it's time for the lord to come praise the lord and second is that the lord wants to do a great work in these last days remember this parable he gave one that they went out the first hour the second hour third hour and got people that was in the marketplace and come work in our vineyard and then he went out the 11th hour that's the last hour said come which means come into the church be saved you know get right with god so that you can receive heaven as a reward and so forth you know i remember as a young man that my my family was in building business and there would be times they would go down to a certain place in town and there would be guys standing around uh let's see any of you guys can do stucco work can you do you know plaster work and yeah this one said yeah i can do that okay come on and he goes and he'd go to work and work all that day and then the end of the day they just give him cash money and that's how they operated it was just the way they did it and i've seen a lot of that done and this is what it what the bible talks about let me move on here uh and it says one thing here in this uh sixth verse it says and i heard a voice in the midst of the four b saying a measure of wheat for a uh for a penny and in three measures of barley for a penny and see thou touched not the oil and the wine the oil and the wine is the rich here i'm repeating now some things i've talked about already a month ago it says see that thou hurt not the oil in the wine in other words don't touch the rich yet it's always the poor who are first affected by all these things don't touch the rich yet and then that goes on to say here in the verse 8 i be held low a pale horse and his and he that said on him was death and hail followed with him and power was given unto him over the fourth part of the earth to kill with the sword and with hunger and with death and with the beast of the earth and so it goes a fourth up so one-fourth of the human race will die in this sixth chapter one-fourth so if there's they say there's about seven and a half billion people if i can round it off at eight billion a fourth of a billion is two billion people so by the time you get even halfway through the sixth chapter of revelation two billion people have died they've died from the war they've died from famine uh they've died from uh they've died from it says that black horse that is just death that follows what's death i don't know maybe it's the effects of the atom bombs or the atomic bombs that probably surely will be used the fallout i've read the results of hiroshima hiroshima and nakasaki you know the two bombs we dropped on japan the end of world war ii in august uh i've read the results of those things and those people that have survived and how they had to deal with this radiation stuff it's very very terrible very pathetic and a very horrible thing and uh i'm just saying here when it talks about death it could be a lot of that as well you know i'm just giving you what the bible here says here about all of this and a fourth part of the earth to kill with the sword here's what it says in verse 8 death and hell followed them and the power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with the sword and with hunger and with death whatever however that death would come and from the beasts of the earth so the beasts have got to eat jews so they eat people and so forth then it goes on to say i want to jump down to verse 12 very quickly i'm trying to get to verse 7 here and that beheld when he had opened the sixth seal and lo there was a great earthquake the sun became black a sackcloth of hair and the moon became his blood the stars of the heavens fell unto the earth which is probably a meteorite barrage that comes into the atmosphere and it bombards the earth even as a fig tree casts it there in time to fix when she is shaken of a mighty wind and this it goes on to say the heavens departed as a scroll that means they like shooting stars in the sky when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places now you say brother meyers this is just the book of revelation it's a little scary and it's that's what it's saying no no no no this has already been spoken of in the bible let me read you another place about it i'm looking over here in isaiah chapter 13. look at verse 6 6 how are ye for the day of the lord is at hand this is a prediction of the tribulation period coming it it shall come as a mighty destruction from the almighty verse 9 behold the day of the lord cometh cruel both with wrath and fierce anger to lay the land desolate he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it for the stars of heaven and the consolations thereof shall not give their light of the sun shall be darkened it is going forth and the moon shall not cause their light to shine and i will punish the world the world this is talking about for their evil and the wicked for their iniquity and i will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease and will lay low the hardness of the terrible verse 13 therefore i will shake the heavens and the earth shall remove out of her place in the wrath of god of the lord of hosts and in the day of his fierce anger and so it speaks about all of these kind of things not only is this spoken up in isaiah chapter 13 but it's also spoken of in isaiah chapter 24. let me read this to you now he ceased from this behold the lord maketh the earth empty this is 24 1 behold the lord maketh the earth empty and make it a waste and turn it upside down and scatter the brawl the inhabitants thereof i'm telling you what the book of revelation says and now i'm talking and showing you two other places in the bible where it also predicts it in the old testament that is coming it's going to come to pass on the earth you say brother meyers why why do you do that because the bible says in the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established first corinthians the second corinthians i mean ii corinthians 13 1 in the mouth of two or three witnesses let every word be established this was a policy in the old testament and the lord himself in his word establishes a truth with two or three witnesses or even more you know but at least two or three witnesses do you understand what i'm saying so i show you these verses not only in the book of revelation but also in isaiah so isaiah 24 1 behold the lord maketh the earth the empty and maketh it waste and turn it upside down and scout that brought the inhabitants thereof verse 3 the land shall be utterly emptied and utterly spoiled for the lord has spoken this word the earth mourneth and fadeth away the world language and fadeth the way the haughty people of the earth do languish verse 5 the earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof because they have transgressed the laws changed the ordinances and broken the everlasting covenant everlasting covenant if you want to read about that that's in genesis 9 16 that's the covenant that god made with noah and his three sons and their wives that was the beginning of the human race after the flood took place and god made a covenant with them this is what that's referring to verse six therefore have the curse devoured the earth and they that dwell therein are desolate therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned and few men left so i'm just giving you a confirmation here to what all of this says here in this scripture here so when it talks about in revelations here in chapter verses 12 13 and 14 the heavens departed like a scroll every mountain has moved and so forth now this is interesting look at verse 15. this i'm back in revelations chapter 6 verse 15. revelation 6 15. everybody still with me all right and the kings of the earth and the great men and the rich men and the chief captains of the mighty men and every bondsman and every free man hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks remember up here where it says hurt not the oil in the wine now the rich are being affected now i mentioned that to you here a month ago but i'm just re reminding you here of this and it says every free man hid themselves in dens and in the rocks of the mountains and said to the mountains and rocks fall on us and hide us from the face excuse me from the face of him that sitteth on the throne and from the wrath of the lamb praise the lord now you say brother meyer as you said in two or three witnesses yeah okay let me show you one in isaiah chapter two just read a couple of verses and i'm all through with this this is in isaiah chapter 2 verse 10 enter into the rock and hide thee in the dust for fear of the lord and for the glory of his majesty verse 11 the lofty looks of man shall be humbled and the brightness of the men of men shall be bowed down and the lord alone shall be exalted in that day i'm reading verse 19 of isaiah 2 and they shall go into the holes of the rocks and into the caves of the earth for fear of the lord and for the glory of his majesty when he arises to shake terribly the earth verse 21 to go into the clefts of the rocks and into the tops of the ragged rocks for fear of the lord and for the glory of his majesty when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth so i'm just giving you here a picture here and we're concluding here with this chapter 6 and then in the last verse it says for the great day of his wrath has come and who shall be able to stand who shall be able to stand of course uh this is talking about the wrath of god in the tribulation period one little last point god has not appointed the church to his wrath that's why we know the church has already been raptured when you read all these things in revelation 6. for instance i'm reading this verse first thessalonians 5 3 for when they shall say peace and safety remember that first one physically then sudden destruction cometh upon them history be upon a woman's child i've read that verse to you so we have not been given to the wrath of god and god has not appointed us to the wrath of the lord that he has appointed in all these kind of things praise god i'm reading verse 9 5 9 is what i meant to read there for god have not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our lord jesus christ this is 5 9. god bless you folks up there i don't know how you keep up with me but i god bless you for it you're you're good you you wouldn't be able to do that now everybody ready for chapter seven all right already i'm going to pass out some handouts to you they've got our handouts ready this uh when you get the handout this will say lesson five and the date that you'll see up in the right-hand corner we'll say 621 i think it is in fact i got a copy here and i want you to look at this very closely here i'll give you a moment here to look at this this is the handout that i'm giving you for today i felt like that i should at least bring us up to speed by talking to you about the sixth chapter because so much happens in the sixth chapter and a lot of this happens in the seventh chapter is a continuation of those things that happen in the sixth chapter and uh so we're in lesson five i'm going to put this up here and uh this is a chart of the book of revelation this is what we're looking at here focus that's the chart of the book of revelation right there and i have that divided into three sections and uh the first section is those colored stripes going up and down they look like this you notice that if you look at the bottom it says chapters 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 11. you see those things and those lines going up and down and in between tells you of all the events that's happening during those chapters those periods of time and uh this is what we'll be talking about here in the beginning part of it so we're going to be looking at chapter 7 right in here and some interesting things that will develop here everybody with me all right all right i want you to look with me here in this uh seventh chapter here after these things i saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth that the wind shall not blow on the earth no on the seed or on any tree and i saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living god now i'm not going to take time to read all this but over in the old testament there's a place that god did this once before with israel he set a seal on certain people who were righteous god-fearing and they were good people in israel so that whenever the judgments of god would come he would pass over them pass over them and so here he's saying that he's going to set a seal of the living god and he cried with a loud voice of the four ranges to whom it was given to her the earth and the sea saying hurt not the earth nor the sea verse 3 nor the trees till we have sealed the serpents of our god in their foreheads now these are servants of god in the tribulation period now look at the verse 4 and i heard the number of them which were sealed and there was sealed in 140 and 4 000 of all the jehovah witnesses folks i have showed this to more jehovah witness people and they they said that oh these are jehovah witnesses i said no it's not what the bible says then they start arguing with me about my bible your bible is wrong i know my bible's not right this was the king james version was was translated by 70 of the best greek and hebrew scholars that england had whenever they translated the best they had they said but ours was translated and it doesn't say that and i say to them who translated your bible they said it's an independent company did i said who appointed your independent company to translate your bible i said you know it was a watchtower society you know that they said oh okay okay okay i mean you know but they say they say these are joba witnesses but i'm going to tell you here today that's not who they are it tells you who they are right in the scriptures and then it gets into more detail look at this look at this fourth verse and i saw the number of them that were sealed and there was sealed 140 and 4 000 of all the tribes of the children of israel and what this is doing is sparing good people in israel and it's the symbolic numbers i'm sure here of the people in israel that god is not going to let judgments of this nature come upon them because they are good god-fearing jews who are still jews and they did not go on their rapture because they believe in jesus christ and they have not had their eyes opened yet i could take it to the 11th chapter of romans and read that whole chapter to you and show you where god has not turned away his people he's going to bring him back one day now don't get caught up in trying to listen to what they have to say today because they'll get you straight away from believing in jesus christ and i say that very sincerely because i know they're god's people from the past but there are god's people on the back burner but god's going to bring him to the front burner one day but right today he's dealing with all all denominations and all languages of people and nationalities of people and customs of people and everything it doesn't matter who you are you could be a jew you could be any any one of the gentiles doesn't matter what continent you're from it doesn't matter what color or creed you are what religion you it doesn't matter the lord can save anyone and will save anyone by his grace we are saved by grace and that through faith faith is our response to god's grace god's grace is california god's grace is the shedding of his blood god's grace is the giving of his life god's grace is sending preachers our way that they can preach the gospel to us and and our faith is our response to god's grace we hear the gospel preach i believe amen and i go to the altar and i repent we don't just it's not just by our faith we're saved but it is by the grace of god through our faith our faith is response and the response of our grace is not just believing here but it's the act of believing repentance baptism those are acts of believing those are acts of faith i repent of my sins you know i i get baptized in jesus name praise the lord my sins are washed away i ask god to receive me give me the baptism of the holy ghost for this is a promise that god's promised on to all people that will turn their heart and now it's going off you can't hear me can you hear me can you now okay all right thank you sister barbara so i'm i'm just trying to let you know here that uh these are jews that god deals with in the tribulation period to get them ready for the work that he's going to do with them when he brings them back into his favor which happens in the 11th chapter of revelation i'll jump in now how do you know that brother myers first of all it says of all the tribes and children of israel look at verse 5 6 7 8 9. this names the tribes look at verse 5 tribes of judah were 12 000 seals tribal reuben there were 12 tribes there's 12 of the tribes of israel of the tribe of gad it was healed and sixth verse says astrid neptulum and nasa and it goes all the way down through those 12 tribes uh saying the same thing through verse down through verse nine and i'm just pointing that out to you here so that you understand here that god praise the lord is getting ready here to do a work with the jews and i'm going to move on here because i know my time is getting away from me and i've got some things i want to show you here and talk to you about but uh look in verse 13. down in verse 13. one of the elders answered saying unto me what are these that are raiding white robes let me finish this whence cometh they and i said sir thou knowest and he said to me these are they which have come out of great tribulation this these are in the tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb therefore are they before the throne of god and serve him day and night i'm sorry i skipped an area give for forgive me go back to 7 9 7-9 this is something i want to show you here 7-9 is right here the second group of tribulation martyrs i i've skipped that the first group is in chapter six there are some martyrs who are killed in the tribulation period for the word of god and testimony which they hold not the church but these are people who have a measure of christ in them but they have not all the truth the bible says that without his spirit we're not of his the bible says if the spirit of this is i'm quoting here from romans 8 9 and 8 11. and if if that spirit that was in christ well enough shall also quicken our mortal bodies so we have to have the spirit of god in us to go in the rapture praise god and so if we don't have the spirit but if we're some type of a say a distant christian or something not a not a backslider or somebody who i think is jeremiah 12 5 where said if you cannot run with the footman can you hear me now you can you hear me all right if you cannot run with the footman how can you contend with horses you cannot cross the jordan when it is even tied how can you cross it when it is swollen you know if you can't live for god today when everything is right for you how can you live for god after the rapture takes place and during the tribulation period when you've got to lay down your life all of these tribulation martyrs all lay down their life there's no dead dead andy alive in christ none of that just the dead and these are people who give their life for the tribulation period excuse me i don't know who they are i'm not even going to try to identify them i just know that god's the judge of all things and he'll be merciful to whom he will be mercy so i'm look reading verse 9 again 7-9 after this and behold a law of great multitude which no man can number of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues stood before the throne before the lamb clothing white robes and palms in their hands palms in there notice the palms now i'm jumping down to verse 13. one of the elders answers saying to me what are these which are raiding white robes and whence came dave and i said sir thou knowest and he said to me these are they which came out of great tribulation and washed their robes made them white and the blood of the lamb therefore are they before the throne of god and serve him day and night in his temple and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them now notice here that in this verse 15 it says they shall serve him up in verse 9 it says they had palms in their hands these people would be servants in heaven servants not the bride this is why i'm telling you folks if you're in the body of christ and you're in the church that's the greatest reward that you can possibly be a part of to be a part of this wonderful church of the living god don't let satan trick you and trip you up and cause you to lose it and if you ever do get back right with god because he's just to forgive our sins and he can help us and if you know people who have slipped back or gone back and they are not where they should be with god encourage them encourage them to get back with the lord and find god and live right because this is the greatest reward that god will give but during the tribulation period there will be some people who give their life they've got to give their life for it and they've got to lay their life down got to say they have to be willing to die for the name of jesus the testimony which they hold because they no i still believe in jesus i don't care what you say and everything they'll have to do that and then have to give their life and when they do they'll have a place in heaven but it won't be up to that that the church is the church is the bride of christ not a servant everybody understand what i'm saying here so i'm just trying to encourage you here to hold fast to what you have because this is the greatest reward that god will ever give praise over the church there be god that's why we go through trials and tests and so forth and those things do happen now i'm going to move a little bit further here i'm going to go uh got a little more time look in let me get the page turn my my pages stick together sometime all right look in uh chapter eight i'm moving chapter eight and this is uh on your lesson here if you look right here revelation 8 and i want you to look at this verse of scripture with you be here when he had opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven about space of half an hour and i saw the seven angels which stood before god and two boys given seven trumpets and their fictionally introduced the seven trumpets the seventh the seventh seal seventh th the seventh seal introduces the seven trumpets which are another series of judgments coming on the earth and just before that happens look at verse three to six and if you don't remember anything else i have said this morning don't forget what i'm about to tell you here everybody still with me give me your undivided attention don't balance your checkbook don't be on your cell phone just give me your undivided attention look at verse three another angel came and stood at the altar having a golden sensor and there was given unto him much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne let me uh show you what this is all about uh this is a picture here of the old tabernacle plan and this is the priest this is the sensor here right here let me push it up where you can see a little bit better this is the sensor right here all right now this is a real thing and it was used in the old testament among the jews both with the tabernacle and with the temple the temple was a replacement of the old tabernacle done by solomon david's heart to do it but solomon was the one who actually did it his son now i'm going to refer you back to this in just a moment here but i want you to look very closely here with me in this verse of scripture he had a golden censor and it says that it should offer it with the prayers of the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne now i want to show this one first then go back to that this is uh the tabernacle plan of the old testament this is what was later developed into the temple and uh the reason i'm using this was because we could get up closer to it this is a cutaway here these are two pages put together this is uh a cutaway here of that tabernacle out here is a brazen altar represents repentance this is labor water represents water baptism these are all has spiritual significance to them and whenever you are repentant you're baptized you enter into the church of the living god this is the candlestick that had the light on it and oil in it this represents the holy spirit in the church this is a table of show bread that was replaced every day with 12 loaves of bread this represents the word of god in the church in the church now all spiritual applications there was a veil that hung across here you can't see all of it because they've got it cut away it hung all the way across this tabernacle that separated this first room from the second room this first one was twice the size of the second room this uh this first one was 30 by 15 by 15. the second the second room was 15 by 15 feet 15 by 15 feet they measured in other measurements but that's what it boils down to be and so and here was the ark of the covenant and this is the kind of glory that come down once a year whenever they'd offer uh the blood of the sacrifice upon the odyssey now the thing i want to talk to you about is what stood in the holy place this is the holy of holies holy place before the curtain there's an altar here it's called the golden altar this is a close-up of it that's why i'm using just this one and this is the altar of incense right here and it was on this altar instance that they would sprinkle uh this incense on there and they would put fire from the altar that was outside from the brazen altar they'd put it there and then it would make that incense fill that room with a fragrance that was beautiful it was very pretty very nice very comforting and so forth they put these fire out every morning when it became daylight they've put new fresh bread here every morning so forth and this would fill this room here with these incense that fill that was in the room here now it was here that god spoke to john the baptist's father right standing there when he was ministering this and told him that he was going to have a son's name with john the baptist he'd be a forerunner of jesus christ so forth a lot of interesting things happen here now where this represents repentance going back to this where this represents repentance this altar where the fire was the sacrifice this altar represents consecration and personal prayers now hear me closely here folks when you get saved you don't just repent be baptized and say i'm in the church and you don't do anything else that's the beginning this is where you pray and talk to god this is where you draw close to god this is where you say i want to be one of god's personal people i want to be close to you jesus and if you do that everything god will use you let me just go a little bit further and say this that it was at this altar also praise the lord that you would also take all of your problems it's like prayers sometimes we have troubles and we have difficulties and we have problems in our life and it talks about it it says here that after i'm reading back here in revelations chapter 8 and verse three and another angel came and stood at the altar having a golden sensor and there was given unto him much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar that's that one which was before the throne this is in heaven now and the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints ascended up before the throne of god out of the angel's hand and the angel took the censor filled it with fire and the of the altar and cast it into the earth and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake and the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepare themselves to sound now what this is implying here is that the wrath of god more so is going to come on the earth because of the prayers of the saints let me say one thing here the bible says vengeance is mine saith the lord don't ever avenge yourself leave vengeance in the hands of god the bible says if you have an enemy any something somebody you don't like pray for him pray for him that's hard to do sometimes somebody does something you're wrong leave it with god and some things we pray we get the victory over we just leave them in the hands of god and i've done that more than one time just leave it in the hands of god god down the road will deal with it and if he never deals with it in this life he'll deal with it in in in in the tribulation period because all the prayers of the saints god please help me i don't know how i'm gonna get through the lord please save me lord deliver me from this god this hurt that's bothering me troubling me that you know stole this took this did that to me and you leave it in the hands of god one of these days that's going to come back on this earth as a judgment of god and is cast upon this earth like fire the prayers of the saints and my time is gone but one other little point i want to bring out here to you and that is i don't know if i can reach it get to it or not but it's the one about the prayers that's found over and i'll go to revelation 5 real quick revelation 5 and it says this verse 5 and eight and when he had taken the book the four beasts and the four elders fell down before the lamb having every one of them harps and golden vials full of odors which are the prayers of the saints some of your prayers are just worship and here it was all worship in chapter five some of your prayers are just all worship and you praise god you glorify god you thank the lord you lift up his name but sometimes you on your face before god you fall on the floor and you put your hands right on the floor and you cry a river of tears i don't know if you've ever been there i've been there i know what it's been most of you that's lived for god for a long time you've been there but those are prayers that you pray sometimes you want to take something take some things in your own hand you don't do it you leave them in the hands of god vengeance is mine saith the lord and you leave them in the hands of god and if god never answered them in this life he'll answer them here amen because they're sent like gentlemen upon the earth in the in the face of the sinners and wicked people who have done those things to god's people all over the world has happened all over the world so i'm just trying to say here today this role of the church this role of being saved is a very special role that we're same household let's pray that god will touch them and give them strength uh also we need to continue to pray for brother dick sayas who's still in the hospital still has fluid in his lungs let's pray for brother dick sayas also let's continue to pray for brother steve gayley who's going to have to start radiation and chemo on the tumor that they found in his brain so let's pray for brother steve gayley how many of you have unspoken requests god sees the hand knows the need we serve a great god and god can do anything god's greater than any virus god's greater than any sickness god's greater where she cannot drive and so every sunday morning she depends on somebody to bring her to church and so that morning her ride was unable to make it and so she called somebody else to see if they could bring her and they could not and so then she decided she'd call one of her children and they weren't able to break it bring her and so surprise surprise to the church when all of a sudden a police car came into the parking lot [Music] and outstepped this little lady she had called 9-1-1 she said it's an emergency nobody can get me to church i want to know if there's anybody desperate on a sunday morning that said hey heaven i made it i showed up and i'm here it's an emergency [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i just think if you're going to get up on a sunday morning and get dressed and spend all the energy and effort you might as well not just come to show up sit down watch what happens you might as well come expecting god to do the miraculous and to do the supernatural [Applause] before you leave i'm ready for god to do something special in this service would you turn with me to the book of acts chapter 27 the book of acts chapter 27 while you're going there what an honor to be back you have to forgive me i just feel like a little kid looking around at all the beautiful new carpet and the new pain and and the new podium and the new logo and the new faces and and the new thing that god is doing in our midst maybe maybe you're already over it maybe you you've gotten past the excitement but i look around and i i just see what god is doing through this church in this city and [Music] [Applause] seeing the online services sing the outreach and i told pastor i'm in awe of everything that god is doing in this season i really am so i give him honor him and his wife and their children i thank god for their friendship their trust give honor to bishop and his wife and just so thankful for their godly example and leadership these are unique times but exciting times and i've told you before that not every pastor is a christian god has blessed you with leaders that are christians and you ought to thank god every day for that so i give them honor i'm thankful for brother scott and brother dylan here this weekend thankful to be around them and to the musicians and singers for leading us into the presence of the lord and i want to say a special thank you to all the sound and media they've been working extra hard in this season i think we owe them a handclap of appreciation for all of their hard work from the graphics and the streaming and all of it and i'm just so thankful for each and every one of you that are here today i believe god's going to heal somebody today i believe god's going to fill somebody with the holy ghost that's what i used to say until the lord corrected me he said why don't you change that word someone to everyone says it's not my will that someone happens to get a miracle and someone have if you get something from god today you're not the exception it ought to be you're the exception if you don't get something from god i just happen to believe god came to do something for every single person in this house i really believe that so would you go with me in faith and with that expectancy to acts chapter 27 we're going to begin at verse 22 a great man of god the apostle paul is on a journey by way of ship through a very treacherous storm and we break into the story at verse 22 and he declares these words and we read them together and now i exhort you to be of good cheer for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you but of the ship for there stood by me this night the angel of the lord whose i am and whom i serve and this is what he told me he said fear not paul you've got to get to your destination and god has given you all of them that are with you so sirs be of good cheer for i didn't just hear god i believe god that it shall be even as it was told me however we had to be cast upon a certain island by the help of the holy ghost i just want to preach to you on this sunday morning for the next few moments there's honey in those rocks there's honey in those rocks would you say that with me there's honey in those rocks oh you got to say it with faith there's honey in those rocks but you lift up your hands all across this house come on would you join your prayer with my prayer god i thank you for this precious group of people i thank you for every guest i thank you for every member god nobody is here by accident but i believe the india i believe the angels of the lord are in our midst even now we're asking you to let the best gifts be in operation do what you have come to do we speak this and we pray it in the name of jesus christ would you say that with me in the name of jesus would you shout that with me in the name of jesus now if you really believe that prayer i want you to clap your hands unto the lord i wonder if i could just beg you to do that a few more seconds paul was anointed paul was powerful paul had the hand of god on his life and yet paul was locked up paul was locked down paul was in the middle of a storm it seemed as if his life was at the mercy of the wind and the waves and the rain and it seemed as if he was just being tossed about by life and yet he was the cargo of heaven being carried by the divine purpose of heaven can i remind you you are not just plopped on this chair by accident you are not just in a random church on a random sunday in a random world but no matter how chaotic no matter how confusing you are right where god has willed you to be [Applause] but it's raining and it's storming and it's temperatures people are scared grown men are looking at the horizon and they do not know what their future holds and yet all of a sudden somebody comes stumbling from below deck paul is weary he's tired he's human he's felt fear he's felt the temptation to give up but he comes out and he says i refuse to cower in the corner i refuse to suck my thumb and cry in my starbucks below deck i believe god is going to get me through this moment [Applause] sir i i need everybody to listen to me i need everybody to hear me i had a visitation last night you had what i had a vegetation god's about to move on our behalf bless him lord he doesn't know we're in the middle of coven 19. he doesn't realize we're in the middle of a storm faith is not denying reality faith is acknowledging a higher reality i'm not stupid i don't go by what appears to be i go by what a point i go by what is appointed to be you got to have a heavenly visitation a heavenly awareness a heavenly acknowledgement so paul has had that and now he comes to preach to everybody that will listen and hear him and he tells them be of good cheer be of good cheer it's gonna be all right you know why this very night the angel of the lord was standing by me this very night i had a visitation of heaven now that may not mean a whole lot to you but i want i want to break down what is happening right now you have to realize it's in the middle of the night the wind is blowing the rain is billowing the ship is topsy-turvy baggage is being thrown out soldiers are losing their footing passengers and prisoners are sliding and yet paul said i saw something standing i came to preach to a child of god there's a lot of things changing but not everything is changing there's a lot of things falling but not everything else is my anointing is still standing up my god is still standing my purpose oh i came to preach to somebody today there is still something that is the same yesterday today and forever that's why i shall that's why i dance because there is a word that has not moved pardon me just a moment if my purpose is still standing i can still stand if my purpose is standing my family can still stand if my purpose is standing i'm gonna make [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it but this is the deal guys we're going to make it we're going to be all right but the ship is going to be destroyed because we got to be cast upon a certain island i know can't get around it there's not a plan b there's not an option c there's not a multiple choice we're going to be okay we're going to be delivered but what is carrying us it's going to be destroyed and some of you have looked as things in your world things in your life and things in your context have been shattering been breaking and they are being utterly destroyed in this stormy tempestuous season can i speak a word of faith into your breaking can i speak a word of faith into your shattering if god is allowing something to break apart it was not meant to carry you any further god don't break my old prayer life don't break my old comfort zone i would to god somebody on a sunday morning would say god shatter destroy and break apart everything that was not meant to carry me into my destiny we all say we want a breakthrough when i go overseas i have to make sure all my sermons make sense so i said today i want to preach about the god of the breakthrough i said how does that translate a god who is a burglar no no no no no no that's not it i want to preach about coming and getting a breakthrough okay a god who burglarizes i said no no you're not getting it i just want to preach about our breakthrough but we want a breakthrough but what we don't realize is you got to have a break in if something is going to break through something's going to get messed up something's going to get shattered something's going to get if you want god to come in and steal you away from normality steal you away from your comfort zone it's going to be inconvenient it's going to be bloodier it's going to be messier but god do it i want to break through i want to break through [Applause] so all of a sudden the ship is introduced to the shore and they're screaming and it's traumatic and and the ship is now breaking apart and these are prisoners so they're about to be murdered on the spot but somehow their life is spared and this is what the bible says i need somebody to help me i need judah to help me [Applause] i need you come stand over here now this is what happens the bible says there was two groups a command was given if you know how to swim swim to the shore that's for all the smart people the people who had babies the people who had parents that that were ritzy and said we want our baby to swim before he's three years old didn't get that kind of training i didn't go to no special swim school i just i went to the school of almost drowning and dying and surviving [Applause] so the command was given to all the smart people those that got the strength i want you to swim so i want you to swim so all the smart good-looking gq got it all together people they just started swimming and the bible says that they made it to the shore first so there's people under the sound of my voice that been blessing you in this season your bank account's been rising you've got a new job you've got two or three new cars in the garage you're afraid to show anybody god's been good to you i'll be the first to jump with you i'll be the first to shout with you i'll be the first to rejoice with you i'll be the first to high-five you fail the test no i'll be the first to wave at you social distancing but the bible says but the rest i'm thankful for all you folk over there i identify with that part but the rest made it on pieces of the ship i'm not here to give you a sad stop story i i respectfully i don't need your pity but there's been some stuff in this season that i didn't invite those are the worst kind of guests the ones that don't rsvp they show up early they eat all the food and they stay too long you had any stuff in your life come in uninvited and stay too long and eat some of you like yeah she's over there that's him right there i better keep moving i'm gonna just be real with you since january we've buried five of our family members for various reasons there's been some broken stuff there's been some pieces of life that are no longer intact and so the bible says that some made it on their strength but others just were clinging to a peace but the bible says that the one that had the strength and the ones that knew how to get to the shore got to the shore but it also says those that were clinging onto broken pieces got to the shore you missed it some of you came in bloody you're weary you're hanging on the brokenness but your brokenness is what i get you where your strength cannot come on child of god you can still get there on tears you can still get there on pain [Applause] i'm here some of y'all trying to play me i done showed up it's all good in the hood god's been great stop lying this is really what you look like on the inside i made it i made it i need somebody to worship with me i need someone to shout with me i need someone to believe with me i came in hanging on the brokenness but i still came come on broken man of god you're still gonna make it come on broken lady oh god you're still gonna make be seated i'm almost out of time can i preach a few more minutes [Applause] they've made it to the shore thank you judah let's give judah a i hand get you a chick-fil-a gift card [Applause] though they make it oh god thank you so much it's time for a new level it's time for something to change this is my moment for a blessing and you look around and you don't see no blessing paul left a storm he left a broken ship he's crashed upon rocks you know what the bible said the island's wet the island's cold the island's rainy and so now he's left a season and he's stepping into another season that looks just like the one he left and there's some of you that are going to be very frustrated because you said god i'm ready to step into a new level but the problem is that new level looks like the old one do you know what i've learned about god whenever he will not let you step into a new level it is because he is demanding that you become a new level let me say it like this some of you are wanting to step into something new god said no no you're going to become something new let me try it again some of you are saying god i want you to change everything around me god said no no i'm going to change everything within you so paul has a decision he can be satisfied he can surrender to the elements he can surrender to the climate he can surrender to the conditions but that's not what he does you know what he does he said i refuse i refuse to just negotiate i refuse to settle be satisfied with the elements that are given to me you know what he does haley he begins to build a fire he said bring some sticks bring some wood we're going to build a fire you see the problem is everybody's just come out of cold frigid water and they're experiencing hypothermia and the problem with hypothermia is you can get so cold that you start feeling warm and you better be aware when you've come through this season and you've not been praying you've not been reading you've not been drawn close to god and yet you think you're okay that's called hellish hypothermia that's called deception warming yourself by a fire that does not exist oh i think i'm anointed no no you're just sitting by somebody that's anointed oh no i'm praying no you're not praying you're just around somebody that's praying i'm not come to condemn you i kind of challenge you there's somebody in this house you're not perfect you don't got it all together but you came on a sunday morning saying i'm ready to rekindle something i'm ready to rebuild something i'm ready for something to be started so all of a sudden he begins to build a fire and guess what happens the bible says that a viper jumps out of the heat doesn't jump out of the rocks doesn't jump out of the sand it jumps out of the fire there's some stuff that don't mess with you when you're carnal there's some stuff that don't mess with you when you're giving in to negativity and doubt there's some stuff that don't mess with you when you're sowing discord there's some stuff that don't mess with you when you're not giving back to god there's some stuff that don't mess with you when you're watching porn there's some stuff that don't mess with you when you're when you got idols of the heart see it's not the stuff that we bow to with our knees it's the stuff that our heart bows to but when you start worshiping when you start praising when you start praying when you start fasting when you start giving when you start submitting there's some things that were comfy that cannot exist in the new environment that you are creating there are some things that were dormant and okay when you were carnal but when you started getting liberty when you started feeling victory it jumped out of the fire so you got a decision you can back away say enough of this i don't want that spiritual warfare stuff i don't want to have to contend i don't want to have to fight i don't want to have to be intentional and there are people that have a walk with god that's strong enough to expose some stuff but do you have a walk with god that's strong enough to destroy it the bible says that that paul he took that viper and he began to shake it he began to move it around until he finally shook it off to the fire the same prayer there exposes your carnality is going to be the same prayers that destroys your carnality if you keep praying [Applause] i'm not trying to get you to be a fire starter i would to god somebody would be a fire keeper i would i don't want to know did you start praying i want to know why you're still praying i don't want to know if you fasted i want to know if you're still fasting because there's an anointing there's a blessing there's a victory for people who are still doing what they started [Applause] you see there's too many people trying to shake off some stuff into a fire they haven't built deliverance takes a moment a walk with god takes a process it only takes seconds to throw the viper off your hand but it takes moments and hours to build a fire the victory is not in our shaking and in our shout on sundays and sunday nights the victory is in our fire on monday and tuesday and wednesday and thursday and [Applause] hear me i'm getting ready to come to a close this is what you have to understand that viper could have leafed out and snatched anybody it could have leaped out and attacked anybody it attacked paul why paul because paul is about to go to the house of publius and publius has a family member who is on their death bed and unless a miracle happens he's about to die paul is going to come in lay his hands on him and there's going to be healing instruments of anointing and agents of healing are always targets of poison you might be missing what god wants to do through you but hell is not ignorant of what god wants to do through you and hell knows if you can change the atmosphere in your house you're going to change the atmosphere in someone else's house hell knows if you get deliverance over your mind you're going to help somebody else get delivered so hell knows when you could have gotten bitter but you stay faithful you're going to help somebody else [Applause] lift up your hands all across this house right now come on there's vessels of anointing in this house come on there's agents of revival come on hear me right now hear me hear me hear me you are not defined by what latches onto you you are not defined by what has come against you in this season but hear me in the holy ghost you are defined by what you hold on to [Applause] i'm embarrassed of some of the junk pastor that's tried to jump on my spirit in this season but i do not identify with what has attacked me but i have to identify with what i hold on to there's some people in this house under the sound of my voice it don't matter if it's secret sin it don't matter if it's church hurt it don't matter if it's coldness casualness carnality it's time for you to shake it off it's time for you to release it it's time for you to say that poison is not gonna find a home come on the things are not gonna come into my faith come on you're not coming against my marriage you're not coming against my i will not give poison a home be seated for just a moment i'm almost done hear me the bible says that all of a sudden that man was healed and the sick of the island started coming and all of a sudden healing was spreading i thought i thought poison is supposed to be contagious it's only contagious when it finds a home and there was a man of god that had been through junk and he said i refuse to allow my spirit to be home to poison and because he shook it off healing began to flow from the same hands that poison should have you're either going to be contagious because of your dysfunction or your deliverance i made i made up my mind a long time ago i made up my mind a few months ago i made up my mind a few weeks ago there's some junk that tried to come against me but when i came in on a sunday morning i refused to pass my junk onto you you know what i said i want to pass on i want to pass on my shout out i want to pass on my joy i want to pass on my faith because i want the healing of almighty god to flow so the bible says that a snake latched onto the hand singular of paul but when he went to lay hands on that man in the home the bible says that he laid his hands plural this is what i feel so strongly sister amy our world is dead and dying the last thing they need is a perfect church so why are we so busy trying to pretend to be something the world does not need they do not need you to be perfect and god does not need you to be perfect because if i'm in bed dying an old homeboy walks in and says man god's been good to me i've never sinned i've had a flawless life thank you for coming leave the food and leave appreciate you what would happen if he would have just walked in and said man let me show you how perfect i am that's not what it did the bible says that he used both hands oh my if i'm on my bed dying and you walk in and there's a scar on your hand from something that's bitten you that should have killed you but you made it you better believe i can make it too i wish you'd stop being embarrassed of your testimony embarrassed of your scars because if you were delivered from addiction i can be too if you made it after tragedy i can't too if god brought you a mighty long way maybe he can bring me a mighty long way come on it's time to use all of you it's time to yield all of you it's time to surrender all of you stand to your feet and lift your hands as high as you can right now come on pray in the holy ghost for just a moment come on pray in the spirit for just a moment come on god's calling some people god's beckoning some people come on he's wanting to use you like you've never been used before getting ready to step out of our seat and if you come all the way to this altar that's wonderful if you step into the aisle that's fine nobody's going to judge you but i'm just asking you to make a step i'm just asking you to take a step because it's what we do in the physical that is a symbol of what we're doing in the spiritual so we're getting ready to come forward in just a moment god's going to pour out his healing god's going to pour out his spirit but this is this is what i feel to tell you church that man's healed the bible says healing begins to spread all throughout that island [Music] he's getting ready to leave paul is getting ready to leave he's made it and the bible says go back and read it the bible says that he's given necessary supplies for the rest of his trip he's getting ready to step onto a new boat and what should have been the devastation of him was actually the equipping of him and so he had to scratch his head and say what's what is behind this place i couldn't come around this island i couldn't i couldn't sidestep but i couldn't circumnavigate i had to be cast upon a certain island malta malta malta that's the name of the island what does malta mean what does this place mean why did i come here but it had to be this place it had to be these rocks it had to be coveted 19 it had to be 20 20. [Music] and if he would have turned to somebody and asked him on his way out what does this place mean the response that would have been given to him malta means honey malta means sweetness so i'm gonna prophesy to you in the holy ghost you may not feel it right now you may not see it right now you may not you may not can you maybe you can't even say it right now but i promise you you're going to come to a moment in time and you're going to begin to survey all that has happened and you're going to say i didn't choose the storm i didn't choose the shipwreck i didn't choose the snake bite i didn't choose the cygnus but there's honey in those rocks and there's sweetness in that storm and now there is healing flowing through [Music] he told the people of god in deuteronomy and in psalms i can make honey come from a rock honey is not supposed to come out of a rock honey does not naturally come from a rock [Music] but god [Music] can bring honey out of a rock god can use a rocky place a room right now god is beckoning you god is calling you and you can get bitter you can backslide and you can let the embers of an old flame die but somebody's going to come out more anointed and somebody's going to come out with richness somebody's going to come out with the testimony saying i didn't see it i didn't know it but there was honey in those rocks come on i'm asking you to come forward right now there's a call in the spirit right now i'm asking you to come to this altar right now i feel it come on hands lifted voice is lifted right now i feel a call of the spirit right now come on if you just want to step into the aisle step into the aisle but i feel something in the spirit right now come on that seat i want you to raise your hands all across this house i want you to lick your voice all across this house come on i see it people are still coming be mindful of the person beside you if you got to stay in the back if you got to feel the eye whatever you got to do come on i see it i feel a sovereign move right now come on i feel a shifting in the spirit right now come on god's about to do something right now i'm going to ask you just to pray for just a moment i'm quenching what god's wanting to do there's some of you right now if you just moved your pinky god would move on you right now and you would feel the deliverance that you need but there's people in this room that maybe you don't quite understand what's happening and there's there's people on the periphery and i believe god wants to do something for everybody so don't lose your expectation don't don't lose your faith but hear me for just a moment we're getting ready to pray as a family maybe you just thought you came to a church you're wrong you came to a family and in this house you're surrounded by your brothers and your sisters and most of all you're surrounded by your heavenly father there's no shame here there's no embarrassment here so god wants to heal and god wants to pour out his spirit so if you're one of the people that you came into this house and maybe you got disease a diagnosis maybe you've got hereditary pain it doesn't matter what it is maybe it's a headache maybe it's cancer it doesn't matter what it is i believe the lord can heal you today oh i'm going to say that again i believe the lord can and will heal you today [Music] the sound of people clapping is people around you that also believe and agree with you that god can heal you [Applause] so we're getting ready to pray in just a moment you need god to give you a healing in your body i want you to raise your right hand would you do that would you hold it high it's not just for the preacher to see it's not just for us to see i want heaven to see that hand i want your pain to see that hand i want you i want that fear and doubt that's plagued your mind for years to see that hand you can put it down for just a moment and when we pray in just a moment god's going to do two things he's going to heal and he's going to feel so if you walked in here today god wants to feel you now some of you have already experienced the gift of god's spirit so you're going to get a refilling there's those of you today that you've never had this experience you're gonna get it for your first time but you're not by yourself because god wants to fill everybody so whether you're getting it again or you're getting it for the first time god wants to feel everybody so who does god want to pour out his spirit on every hand daughter go up every hand all to go up now i want you to put down your hand if god's filled you with the spirit you've spoken in tongues you've had that experience i want you just to raise your hand for just a moment would you do that i want you to hold it up every hand lifted right now it's a testimony and if god can do it for him if god can do it for her if god can do it for them god can do it for you [Music] now i want you to put your hand down now if you came today and you're going to be one of the ones that are getting it for your very first time you've never received the gift of the holy ghost you've never spoken in tongues but today you're saying god i want it before i that have had this experience are very emphatic that you have it too you want to know why the bible calls this gift of god's spirit joy unspeakable how do you speak about something that's unspeakable how do you describe something that's indescribable you just gotta get it for yourself so pardon us if we're just a little pushy we just don't want to be the only ones that receive this gift we just believe god wants to give it to [Applause] everybody so if you're in this house and you've never spoken in tongues you've never received a gift of the holy ghost before today i want you to do and he's been waiting for this moment so all across this house we're going to ask the lord to forgive us we're going to ask the lord to cleanse us we're going to surrender all of our past to him and after we've asked the lord to forgive us you know what we're going to do we're going to lift up our hands and we're going to lift up our head and we're going to begin to lift up our voice because our physical posture is a reflection of our spirit so we're not going to keep our hands in our pocket and our shoulders hunched over and our head down that's the posture of doubt we are his sons and we are his daughters we're going to lift up our head and we're going to lift up our hands and we're going to lift up our voice to our heavenly father so that after we've asked the lord to forgive us you know what we're going to do we're going to begin to worship him we're going to begin to praise him because the bible says that he inhabits or he moves he dwells in the praises of his people so when we ask the lord to forgive us and we've lifted up our hand and we've lifted up our voice and we've lifted up our head we've closed our eyes we're giving god worship and praise you're going to hear me begin to pray and i'm not going to pray a prayer of magic i'm not going to go through a three-step prayer i'm just going to pray a prayer of faith that means i'm agreeing with you about what god wants to do for you and when i say in the name of jesus this whole house is going to shout the name of jesus and when you speak the name of jesus i'm going to clue you in it's not weird it's not crazy it's not fearful it's not spooky i'm going to tell you what wants to happen when you speak the name of jesus the spirit of god is going to want to come in your heart he's going to want to overflow out of your mouth and when you say jesus your tongue is going to want to move it's going to want to speak sounds that you don't understand hear me you got a decision you can open your eyes you can look around you can shut your mouth and keep it in or you can do what everybody around you is gonna do and you can speak it out that's the holy ghost that's the holy ghost that's the spirit of god say how many wants to receive that gift every hand all to go up there's nobody in this house that does not need that fresh undeniable experience with god so are you ready it's not complicated it's not hard you're ready are you ready i want us to close our eyes all across this house i want us to lift up our hands i want us to lift up our head i want you to begin to ask the lord to forgive you all across this house come on i see it god forgive me god wash me god i surrender to you today every sin every hurt of my past and my present i don't want the condemnation i don't want the addiction i don't want the hurt i don't want the pain come on i see it for just a few more seconds come on i feel his grace flowing i feel his love flowing come on that's it his love is here right now his mercy is here
