🩰 OUTFIT INSPO + ELEVATE your style(clothing tutorials, balletcore, acubi, coquette)

[Music] hey guys welcome and welcome back to my channel I'm Nicole today I'm doing an outfit ideas fitbo video this video has been requested but what's been requested more is tutorials on how I embellish and make some of my clothes so I'm also going to be including that in this video I filmed a tutorial on how I make Jean leg warmers how I embroider stuff and how I make my detachable bows so there'll be time stamps if you're interested in any of that fun fact I already tried to film this portion of this video like the Fitz bow part but I didn't like how it turned out the first time I filmed it I was really rushed when I was making it that time and after I was done I realized I didn't even like the outfits like all the outfits that I included so I scrapped it it and that was like 2 weeks ago so now I'm filming it again hopefully it goes better this time I'm sure it will if you're seeing this it did so please like this video And subscribe to my channel if you haven't already for the pain that I've gone through anyways I've also had people ask what my style is called and I don't really know exactly what to label it I'd say something like ay coet like a mixture of that plus I'm really into like ballet core these days especially with bliss seraphim's comeback I really love their stage outfits for Black Swan I think those were really really pretty also interested in more like Y2K sort of inspired by like these and I have a Pinterest that I'll also link down below that has like my fitbo post save but yes the outfits I put together are just mixtures of the Styles and clothes I like right now and I'll be leaving links to as much as I can in the description enough yapping and let's get right into the video the first outfit I want to start with is the one that I'm wearing right now this is a very comfortable casual outfit sort of ballet core inspired dressed up athleisure and I wore this out when I went to get brunch and do some errands I've mentioned this but I really do like gray sweatpants or sweatpants as like an actual outfit instead of just loungewear because it's nice to be comfortable when you go out especially because these ones have like this cute little detail of the lace down the sides and this lace bow this little cropped cardigan top it's actually it doesn't unbutton the bows are sewn in and then the top I'm wearing underneath is this pink sort of tank top from yes style it just looks like this and I sewed on elastic straps to help keep it up yes this is outfit number one if you want something very casual and comfortable but still girly and a little dressed up right now I just have on these fuzzy socks but when I went out I wore my plat form Crocs with this outfit moving on to outfit number [Music] two I'm going to start with another pink tank top I think that these sort of tank tops or undershirts are just a great staple and something to have because they're really great for layering and great little extra detail in your outfits over the tank top I'm layering this shirt from em and I'm not going to button it all the way I'm just just going to button this one and then I'm going to add one of my detachable bows like I said I included a tutorial for these and I'm just going to add it wait I button the wrong button hold on I'm going to add it right here just for a little extra detail and a lot of people were asking in my closet tour video like how I wash my clothes and stuff with the embellishments and as you can see a lot of it's detachable so I can use it with other outfits and I can remove it when I have to put it in the wash next next we're going to add this skirt and these socks as you can see I added this little keychain and a bow here just to give some extra elements to the outfit I think that adding little keychains to your skirt or your jeans or whatever is a really great way to elevate it and just give it a little something more I love a pair of white socks I have so many like different variations of white socks for shoes I'm just going to go with a pair of white sneakers white platform sneakers are like my go-to for my shoes for most of my outfits and these are from alfri Eden they have really really cute detailing like little star roses these ones aren't super platformed but I think they're really cute and these ones are very comfortable as well and then if it's cold you could very easily throw a jacket over this outfit this bunny jacket is from Alfred Eden as well and I had another bunny jacket that was pretty similar to this but I worn that one so much that it kind of lived its life so I'm happy that I have another one now this one honestly is like higher quality than the last one I had it's very cute I love it and it has this little wait this little charm here Sparkle and this is completed outfit number two be a really good school outfit or just going out outfit it's still pretty casual and comfortable but still girly and cute and someone asked me if I just put together outfits for my videos or if I actually wear them out and everything I put together I actually wear out because I got to go like show it off and stuff now we're moving on to outfit number three and if you follow me on Instagram then you've already seen this but it's one of my favorite outfits that I've ever put together so it's here again we are going to start with this white tank top from emal it has a really cute little Rose detail and pink straps and I added a sort of corset tie in the back because the medium was too big so I had to add these little thread corset Loops so it would fit me properly I also adjusted the strap I just folded it down and stitched it in place where I wanted because the straps were a little bit too long as you can see I can just tie it tight so it fits properly and I really want to get more shirts like this like this style of tank top I don't know what it's called but I really like it I think it's really perfect for Springtime next I'm wearing these jeans the jeans themselves are from emal and I really like the fit and color of these they're really quite nice I thought they needed a little something extra so I added embroidery basically I just cut out the star from a piece of fabric and did a blanket stitch all around to sew it in place and I'll try and include a little tutorial for embroidering in this video somewhere and I also stitched a little heart and star on I also added bows to the sides of the jeans that I think is just the perfect cutest little touch I love it I saw an Instagram reel that inspired me and I'll link it below so if anyone else wants to try and make some BO jeans here's the jeans on like I said I think the fit is really really flattering for accessories I'm going to add this choker which is literally just a piece of pink ribbon and a star charm we're bringing back the detachable bows I'm going to add one on each pocket just like that and for my hair I'm going to use this pink scarf my neighbors went to Japan and they took a fabric dying class and they dyed this pink for me because they know I love pink and I thought that was really really sweet of them I'm just going to wrap it around my head like this and then tie it here just like that I really love this as a hair accessory I've never done this before or like utilize scarves very much but I think I'm going to start doing it more now also going to add a couple bows just to accessorize even more and arm warmers as well I also think arm warmers are a really great accessory shoes I'm pairing my platform Crocs with this outfit as you can see I just took a ribbon and like threaded it through the holes and tied this little bow and then I also like to add little charms to my Crocs I mean these are just hair clips that I don't wear in my hair so I just put them on my Crocs like this and it makes them just so much more cuter for a bag my strawberry heart bag I made this myself but I was inspired by this account called twin stitched on Instagram and this is the finished outfit number three I really like that the base of this outfit is really simple it's literally just a pair of jeans and tank top but then you can accessorize however you want and like sort of make it your own obviously I love pink and Bows so I added a lot of pink and Bows but maybe you like maybe your favorite color is like blue or you really like stars or something you can add a lot of those elements to this sort of style and like really make it your own let's move on to outfit number four we're going to start with this skirt from cider and I showed this in one of my previous videos but I actually cut off a layer it was about 2 in that I cut off because I thought it was a bit too long and I think it looks a lot cuter this way but that's just my personal preference here's how the skirt looks now that I've chopped off a bit of it the shorts kind of peek through underneath which I don't mind I actually think that's pretty cute and then I'm also wearing these tights which are from cider and actually really like these I think the tight pattern is pretty cute the base of the top I'm going with this white tank top top from yes style like I said I love a good base pank top okay and this is one of my favorites I actually just placed a yes style order and I got another one of these because I love it so much and I was debating on what to wear with this so I'll show two different options I have okay first I'll put first I'll put on the leg warmer so this outfit is very ballet core inspired it was inspired by the seraphim's Black Swan stage outfits I saw those and I was like immediately obsessed I like I have to do an outfit based off of these I'm adding these leg warmers which are from yes style obviously leg warmers are a really big staple of ballet core outfits as well as tights and then I'm also going to add these black ballet shoes from cider which I also showed in my previous video I was like these are perfect for this outfit yay these are very very cute and then I'm just going to lace them up over the the light warmers I also have these shoes in pink and I believe like a cream color on their website Tada I'm also going to add this detachable bow that I made just add a little bit more black to the outfit I think I'm going to do it right here on the leg warmers then I wasn't sure what top to wear with this I have these like lace sleeves these are from yet style and they have really cute pink bows as you can see but this outfit was supposed to be just like black and white because that's how the seraphim are I know they have a version of these sleeves with black bows instead but I don't have that one so yes you could wear it like this and I think this would be a really good outfit for Las serim concert if they dro the tour I really really want to see them or it would be a good concert outfit in general obviously a bit more dressed up than the other outfits I showed and I also like this top as well it has this cute ribbon you can tie so here's the outfit with this top like I mentioned I think this would be a really cute concert outfit but you probably would not want to wear these shoes your feet would be so dead after the concert like my feet are getting sore right now just standing in them but I would switch these out for like a platform pair of sneakers or just like ballet flats or something lastly this isn't really a full outfit but I wanted to show these jeans because I really really love them and I thought y'all should know about them as well I'm so obsessed with these jeans I think they're like the perfect fit they're so cute and these were actually gifted to me by Alfred Eden but obviously I'll leave the link down below and a code that you can use if you want to purchase these for yourself like I'm not kidding when I say these are my go-to jeans now and honestly my go-to outfit when I just want to like go out and run errands I don't have to do much much is a pair of jeans and like a little top another top I really like and I wore this outfit in Hawaii I got a lot of compliments is this white tank top this is from paon and I'm pretty sure it's still on the website so I'll leave the link down below it has this cute little corset tie in the back yeah this outfit I really like and a lot of people said it was Yan uncoated which is so true so this is the end of the outfit ideas portion of this video I didn't include too much that was like what 4ish outfits in total I was going to try to include more but I couldn't just like force myself to make an outfit and then like not really like it plus a lot of my clothes I have shown already like I showed pretty much all of them in my closet tour video so I don't want to be like repeating myself too much but I hope this was at least somewhat helpful for anyone who's looking for outfit inspo especially for the springtime for school for concerts whatever ever and the rest of this video will be tutorials so enjoy those if you've been looking forward to that here are the supplies that you're going to need start by wrapping your ribbon around your ring and middle finger and then again around your pinky and pointer so you have a smaller Loop and then a larger Loop and then tie it around like so pull it [Music] tight and then it will probably need some adjusting as well trim the ends and then I use a lighter to melt the edges so they don't Fray and then Loop in your safety pin I add mine now so that when I sew in the charms I can sort of sew the safety pin in place thread your needle and get charms of your choice these star charms I got from Amazon and then sew your charm in place and when I'm sewing it I'm also sewing the safety pin in place too because I don't want it to move around or have the bow Come Undone and if anyone's curious I get my supplies at Joanne but you can also find a lot of this stuff at Michaels or on Amazon as [Music] well now I'm making a loop and threading the needle back through the loop so I can cut the thread and tie it in place and then I threaded another needle and added a few faux pearl beads and then a star charm and then I added one more Pearl at the end then I thread the needle back through all of the charms except the one on the end and then sew it in place onto the [Music] bow [Music] and then I selected some charms to use these are nail charms from Amazon and I glued them in place with E6000 fabric glue but you could also use hot glue and Tada there's the finished [Music] product welcome to my Jean leg warmers making tutorial so I have these that I've already made I made these for myself and I'm going to be turning these jeans into like warmers as well these ones are from my friend originally I was going to keep them as jeans and like they needed to be altered but I don't trust myself to like alter clothes I haven't done that a lot especially with jeans I feel like it's really hard especially since these are like way way way too big so I'm just going to be turning these into leg warmers and I kind of wanted to use the top to try and make like a skirt a jeans skirt so we'll see if I do that I did the bows on here and then I added like some embroidery here basically I just used a white pen to draw the star outline and then sewed it I used this type of stitching honestly I don't know what it's called but you I tried to show it as best as I can where you sew the Stitch and then Loop the the needle and thread back through the two threads and then I also sewed on these little charms they're originally nail charms and I just bought a whole bunch from Amazon so I had extra and I think they look really cute sewn on with the embroidery so to start I'm going to cut off what I want to actually be the light warmer it's going to go just below the knees so I'm going to cut basically there and leave about an inch extra to be folded in where the elastic is going to go I marked here so I'm just going to cut and do this same on the other side of course now we're going to measure our elastic I do it by just putting it around my leg and seeing where it needs to be where it's clinging to my leg you know and it doesn't have to be too tight because it's still going to be sewn into the jeans and extra fabric will be added so it'll be like a little bit thicker pin it in place now I'm going to sew the elastic this is how I thread my needle and then loop around the needle several [Music] times and pull through to make a knot and then just sew up and down the elastic this doesn't have to be fancy or anything but I do like to go up and down the elastic several times to make sure that it's secure now we're going to sew the elastic into the jeans so I'm going to turn these inside out put the elastic over and pin the fabric over the elastic there should be a little bit of space so you're not pinning your elastic too just like that and then I'm going to thread another needle I debated wanting to have the stitches show and do like white thread or pink thread but I decided I didn't want them to show so that's why I'm going with this black if you're sewing with thread that's going to show maybe turn it inside out and sew so you can see the stitches and make sure they look [Music] nice and also make sure that the fabric isn't bunched when you Stitch it it'll sort of just Bunch up as you sew around the elastic so like as you can see here it's all bunched up and as I sew we'll just push it to the side to make sure this part that I'm sewing is flat finished sewing all the way around the elastic so now I'm going to cut and tie the thread turn it inside out this is how it fits it's on it's so cute now I just have to sew the elastic into the other one as well I decided I wanted to add more to these leg warmers so I cut out some stars from fabric and pin them into place then I used a blanket stitch to go all the way around the stars and I used a pink thread which I thought was a cute little accent to the White and the blue of the [Music] jeans [Music] I finished that up and Tada here's me forcing my friend to model them for this video so this is the end of the video I really hope you
