2024 trends im passing on (deinfluencing)

welcome to the channel today I'm going to be talking about 2024 trends that I am passing on so these are trends that I feel like probably won't fit in my wardrobe that I just don't like that don't match my personal style this is kind of a de influencing video and it's kind of just to show that like you literally don't have to participate in every single Trend that exists even if you like it some Trends are just for looking at on your phone and not for actually putting on your [Music] body it it [Music] so the first Trend that I'm passing on is the office siren Trend I think this is actually so so cute but I feel like it's not practical I feel like you can't actually even wear this to work I don't really like wearing button- Downs even they're not really my thing at all I do like the plaid skirts so I think you know if you want to it's good to take like aspects of a trend and then just wear that I'm likely not going to be wearing a tie anytime soon it just doesn't doesn't really make sense for my personal style the next one that I'm going to be passing on are cpri I actually also think these are cute and I feel like I've seen a lot of people style them really cute and it might be cute for like a summer look but personally I don't even wear pants that often and if it's hot enough for me to be wearing Capri I'm more likely to be wearing a dress or a skirt I just feel like I often like to just dress up more than that and honestly even though I do like the way people are styling them nowadays I feel like I'm still have PTS from how people used to style them in let's say 2006 7 so those are not really for me they don't really even match my style I feel like if you were to style them for summer it's just more of like maybe a Parisian aesthetic and I just don't think that that's really where my style is going or trying to go so yeah Capri are not for me the next one that I'm going to be passing on is sambas I know that these are super super popular and I feel like they look cute on other people but they're just not for me me I don't really like wearing sneakers honestly I just feel like they're not really very me if I'm going to buy a shoe especially one that's like over say like $50 I'm probably going to go for a dress your shoe maybe like a Mary Jane or a nice leather boot I also feel like sambas have become just a little bit too common to the point where I just don't feel like I want to participate in that Trend I feel like when something gets worn by a lot of people it kind of turns me off to that particular Trend or like like Style just because I kind of want to be a little bit more different than everybody else I don't want to wear the same thing that everybody else is wearing so SAS are no for me the next 10 that I'm skipping on is Uggs I've never really been in Ugg girly I think the short ones that are trending right now are really cute and I think also the like slipper version of the Uggs are also trending yeah like it kind of goes back to what I said before I prefer a more dressy shoe if I'm going to be spending a lot lot of money on a boot I want like a really nice quality leather boot or like a platform I feel like that's what I tend to go for but I do think they look cute on other people they're just personally not my style I really don't think they'll match with a lot of the things I own or a lot of the other clothes in my wardrobe the next one that I probably won't be participating in this season is the powder blue/ soft blue Trend I know this color is getting really really big I actually talked about it in my 2024 trend predictions video but I just won't be wearing it even though I like it on other people I think it looks really beautiful soft atherial I am not somebody who wears a lot of color in their wardrobe I'm usually in like whites blacks like Dark Army greens tan burgundy I prefer to wear a more muted color palette so any type of pastel or like pastel blue is really just not going to work for how I want to dress and how I want to present myself fashion wise the same can also be said for the butter yellow Trend that I've been seeing a lot I feel like it's just a little too like pastely for me and I've just never really a fan of yellow for clothes it's just a little too bright and just not really for me next we have Bayonetta glasses so like these other Trends I like how they look on other people I think they're very cutesy but I have glasses like I wear prescription glasses these actually so it just doesn't really make sense for me to wear another pair of glasses I'd probably have to either get those medicated or just be blind which just makes no sense it just makes more sense for me to wear my prescription glasses and be able to actually see I am passing on the football tops SL blow Trend I just don't like this I feel like a football top doesn't really match the style I'm going for I feel like I prefer or like a more like dressier top so I probably wouldn't wear a football top unless I'm just like around the house it's not really something I would consider going out in and then blow Trend I just don't really like I feel like it reads too much as a very Tick Tock esque Trend I just feel like going out in something like that in real life would just not be received all that well or people will just like see you as like a very Tik Tok person if that makes sense I also feel like the blow cat Trend reads as a little bit too common and like too like obviously trying to follow a trend so it's not really really for me in that sense I understand like what people are trying to do with trying to mix the like more sporty aesthetic with like a more girly like feminine aesthetic but I honestly feel like a lot of the looks I've seen with people in it just kind of read as like very insane but obviously like it's fashion do what you want but personally for me I will be passing on this whole blette Trend let me know if there's any trends that you're
